I am so happy that I went to see Linda at AllenMay Salon. I had been seeing a local hair dresser whom I loved her as a person but my hair just never looked exceptional when I would leave there. And over time my hair kept looking dull and less vibrant. Linda not only knew how to cut and color my hair to flatter my face, but she explained the right shampoos/conditions that dont strip your hair of its proteins and nutrition, and also provided recommendations for products that would be great for my hair. She proved it to me by using those same products on my hair to wash and then style showing me how much better my hair can look. I was so amazed. My hair hasnt looked this good in years and I will continue to go to her and follow her recommendations for hair care. Very highly recommend!

Went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was quiet and so relaxing. First time ever getting a Mani/Pedi, me and my daughter who is 6. The wonderful gal took care of both of us and got our nails looking perfect. I will return here again when my hands and feet need some TLC! Thank you

AllenMay was very committed to my needs. They gave me a hair cut and coloring the safest environment. The dresser wore a mask. There was no one in the lobby and very few people in the salon it self. The hair dresser did a great job.

I had a Keratin treatment + haircut done. I liked the technical aspect of the service but overall, it felt a bit hasty and rushed, for the price point. Its probably due to the restrictions but it seemed like they were a little understaffed.

I had a wonderful haircut with Linda. Have been seeing Ali for years and he has always done a great job. It’s why we keep coming back.

This spa is great! I came into town for a relaxation weekend and was able to get a pedicure appointment at the last minute for me and a friend. As soon as we arrive, we were welcomed by Ruba, who immediately set us up for our appointments. She did a fantastic job with our pedicures, and made sure we were relaxed during the entire visit. Worst hair cut experience ever, the ‘stylist’ doesn’t bother to understand what I want from beginning and started cutting, then try to blame the mistakes on me. He asked me to stand up for almost half the time during hair cut, pulled my hair roughly when cutting and his finger poked into my eye. Don’t bother try this place.

I have been a client for many years and have been extremely happy with the results and have been impressed by Alis many talents. He does a great job in choosing the right hair color that looks natural and beautiful. And also, he is an amazing hair stylist. You dont even have to know what you want, he makes excellent suggestions and is genuinely interested in what you want and has the talent to make each style right for each individual. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I will continue to go back.

Ali is awesome. He cares about his customers. He cares about his work. I love the way he colors my hair. He has a special talent for picking just the right color thats right for you. And when it comes to cutting your hair you wont find another hair stylist that could do a better job than Ali. He is a true artist when it comes to hair styling.

I paid for my girlfriend a week ago to get extension for her hair the guy that did them never explained he had to cut her hair and shred it. We paid 560 and my girlfriend is very unhappy with the results we will never go there again money wasted

I tried Allen May Salon due to purchasing a Groupon. I sent an email request for an appointment, and received a reply within minutes. The receptionist was very welcoming. Alex gave me a fabulous facial! My skin felt amazing after this!

They dont care about customers....well all they care about is the $$$ that you bring with you. Here is why you shouldnt go back:Few weeks ago, my wife missed an appointment with them, well due to our son being in the hospital for 5 days.One of.the owners calls the day of and asks why we missed and if my wife can make the 4pm slot for the day, knowing the we were still in the hospital.By the way, not once did the owner ask how our son was doing....it was more about why did you miss the appoint and can you still come in....all they want is $$$...they didnt care about anything else.My wife explained several times that our son was in hospital. ...last thing she was thinking about was calling to cancel a stupid hair appointment.Owner mentions, well its owe policy to still charge 50% of what the cost would have been. I understand policies, but seriously what about simple human compassion. This not about the money or being charged, its simply about the principal of the situation.Owner continues to mention that it would have been nice for.her to call to cancel and at least consider their situation. ...what situation lady? Sorry we didnt consider your money situation while our 2 year is in the hospital....our bad for not considering your very important business needs.Think twice before setting an appointment with them, and by the way they keep all credit card history on their computer. So if cant make an appointment be sure to cancel doesnt matter what reason, even if you the person that is going in for the cut....dies, you will still get charged, because all they care about is $$$, they dont care about you!

I have been going to Ali for a few years now and everytime I come out of the salon very pleased with the way he does my hair. He is very good at cutting, coloring and highlighting. I have curly hair and no other hair stylist I had gone to in the past really knew how to work with my hair. From day one Ali knew exactly what hairstyle would look good on me. I highly recommend Ali.

Ruba is the best stylist! I always go in and never know what I want to do. I usually say something like I dont know what but I feel like I need to do something different with my hair. Ruba always knows and it always looks and feels amazing! She also is the best eyebrow waxer - I look and feel like a million bucks after shes done with me.

Jamie did an incredible job on my manicure! I am one of those people who are super picky on making sure my nails look perfect after getting them done and she went above and beyond. No complaints! HIGHLY recommended!

I had been seeing my last stylist for 9 years, but as her family grew and her schedule changed I realized I needed to find someone who had a more flexible schedule. I am very particular about my color and cut. Ruba did an amazing job changing my blonde from gold to ash. The cut is on point! I highly suggest her for anyone looking for a color genius.

My hair was damaged from prior coloring, and in need of a serious color correction. Ruba did an amazing job of not only correcting my color, but also explaining what she was doing along the way to prevent further damage to my hair, which I greatly appreciated!

Ruba at Allen May is the best! Her technique and Percision is always on point! I saw her a couple of month ago for a complete color correction. My hair was so red and brassy i didn’t think we could fix it without going back to one color. Ruba took her time and explained the whole process and what she was going to do. I visited AllenMay for the first time today with a challenging color correction. I had previously been dying my hair black, and had stripped the color out of my hair the previous weekend. My hair was all sorts of colors, and darker at the ends. I had an end goal to lighten my hair and dye it a vibrant copper/red shade. Dairen was able to gently lighten my hair, and even out the color. Now its exactly the way I wanted it! The color is very shiny and looks great in the sun. Thank you so much!

Best experience ever!!!! I’ve had so much trouble finding a decent hair stylist and makeup artist in Michigan. I read the good reviews and decided to make an appointment for makeup and hair updo here. It was an important night for me and I was really worried about the outcome but Darien met and even exceeded my expectations!!! I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup! She was extremely nice, gentle and really professional! Just showed her what I wanted and she did it even better! I will definitely be back and asking for Darien! Horrible experience dealing with the owners! They really have no compassion for anyone. All they care about is getting their $. I missed my appointment because my two year old son was in the hospital for five days. They were upset because I didnt call to cancel my appt. If your child was in the hospital what would be on your mind? A hair appt or comforting your baby? They kept saying that if I wouldve called earlier than they couldve filled my slot. Then she goes on to ask if I can come to a later time that day because my son was going to be discharged that day!!! Really??? Once again, only caring about making $. As if she would think that i would leave my baby after being in the hospital all week just to get my hair cut. They charged me 50% of the total cost because I missed my appt. For me, this is NOT at all about the money, it is in fact about having some sort of compassion for their customers. Truly disappointed in this salon.

Ive been going here for at least four years now with Ruba. I have been to a few other place during that time because of scheduling but have deeply regretted it. Ruba really does the best job and I swore after the last mishap I would wait with fried ends until I could get in with her.

I went there for keratin treatment which was a total waste of money. Products they give are over priced and useless. Before and after hair look was just the same. Don’t recommend at all for hair treatment.

Worst experience in my 5 years of getting my hair done. Almost in tears. Got a groupon for an all over hair dye, 50% off. Supposed to be 50 dollars. First off they dont mix their own, you only have the choices they have. Not a big range. Didnt have the one I wanted, so I chose a close one. Come to find out, I have to get a color correction, which bumped my cost up to 170!!! So basically my hair dye was 50... color correction (which seemed to be a simple bleach process) was 120$?!?! And they wouldnt even honor the groupon I already bought that brought me there in the first place?! Not even a discount for it?! I was doing it for a wedding so I had to go with it, didnt have time. Had to call into work because the process now took an extra 2 hours. Lost more money there. The color she put on was PURPLE. NOT the darker red with a purple tint that I picked out...straight purple that turned purple pink in a day. Sent her a picture to her phone, telling her Im a little uneasy with the color, its not what I chose...no response at all. Called the salon, receptionist said I could get it redone for free, made appt. Get a text from her 3 hours later telling me theres nothing she can do and that she did a miracle on my hair....uh..what? I text back telling her its nothing like the sample color I picked out, nothing like it at all. No response.So now Im at home, fading this as quick as I can with at home remedies, probably drying out and screwing up my hair, but I have to get this purple out before the wedding Im standing up in. I have to go to Sallys and get red hair dye myself and dye it myself. SO TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS for LITERALLY NOTHING. 200 dollars just to fade out their job and do my own hair myself. WORSE. EXPERIENCE EVER.What kind of salon dyes someones hair PURPLE and WONT fix it for them.
