May I suggest a change online to reflect somehow youre only open seasonally. We took a hog to have processed today and the hours say open Sunday 1 to 8pm, but was told by someone inside the business it wasnt open until October 1st for deer season. Thanks in advance.

Shane is a top-notch guy. I take 8 to 10 deer there every season. He always has a quick turnaround and quality product. Glad hes back!

I really wish I could give them negative stars!!!!! We took 2 shoulders and 2 hind quarters there and got 5 small packages of deer steaks very upset!!! They gave them to me for free but I would have rather paid for my meat and received it all!!!!!☹

My husband and his family have gone here for years to get their meat processed. And for the last 3 deer seasons they have short changed us on back strap meat.Kind of ridiculous when you think about it, these men have been hunting their whole lives and can easily tell when they are being stolen from.Do not go here

We took two bucks here and only got 17 links 18 packs of pattie sausage. We told them this didn’t seem like this was all of our meat. So we went to LEEs off 51 in ridgeland and took 1 deer and got 46 packs of links. They are robbing people out of their meat and my other family haven’t heard from them in a month about their meat. One of my old neighbors asked my friend did he want some deer sausage because his brother worked there and could get u meat for a cheap price. They are stealing meat and ripping people off. Even though they are cheap,it is because they know their people and staff are stealing. Just horrible. My entire family will never go back.

This is the old Sportsman location but under different ownership. This will be the second location for the Buck Shop in Pocahontas... Same great service and flavor just in another location. Thanks.
