Employees were no help at all. I placed my reservation online ahead of time. When I arrived they said they have no trucks when they clearly had 3 trucks outside with no one to them. Once I pointed them out they just surged their shoulders and said theyre reserved and theres nothing they can do. After 5 minutes a lady with the exact truck size I reserved returned her truck. I asked if I can take that one and they said sure but once they started to look on the computer they said I had to wait another 3 hours just to get that one. Both Employees were no help and no manager in the building.

My aunt and I needed to rent some storage space last minute. The manager and all staff were amazing. Clean store, good customer service and wonderful energy. Thank you Uhaul in Calumet City

When making a reservation for something it should be there when you arrive. Also I am a senior and a female, the young man that sent me through hoops about not having a dolly that I reserved, eventually... found one outside and never offered to put in my car/truck. Its the little things that count, I have used Uhaul for years and this was the first time that happened. I dont like leaving poor reviews but when you can do better, please do so.

Ive been dealing with this uhaul on the regular basis for almost two years. Its a good experience every time. The General Manager is one Hard working woman. She has one of the best attitudes around.

All i gotta say is that Jessica Johnson, the General Manager, is one very good manager. she’s on top of her game with how she’s able to handle the register well with a busy store and how well her customer service skills are. in the past 3 months, i’ve had to help a family member move 3 times and each time, i’ve always gone to the Calumet City location because of Jessica Johnson.

My experience was good until I got to leave and my daughter needed someone to a gentleman to help her put her car on the rack and wasnt no gentleman around

I reserved a van at this location a few days in advance of when I had to pick up my item. I get to the facility and they tell me they don’t have the van I ordered. I’m clearly upset because this is not the first time U-Haul has done this to me. The lady checking me in asked me would I like a pickup truck instead. I told her I guess I have no choice because I had a certain window I had to pick up my item and didn’t have time to go to new location or wait for a van to return. She clearly gets a attitude with me by her overall demeanor which makes me even more upset than I already am. She highlights my paperwork and slides me the keys, doesn’t go over the paperwork with me I had to ask her where the truck was instead of her telling me. So I confront her about her attitude, and she basically tells me you got a truck what’s the problem. Shows no empathy, doesn’t apologize for the inconvenience. She acts like she doesn’t even care. I file a complaint with corporate and they told me they will pass it on to the manager at the facility. After waiting over the 72 hours they promised. The manager Jessica finally reaches out to me. I waited two days to call her back. When I speak to her she basically says I made the whole situation up and for lack of better words called me a liar. Said she supposedly checked the cameras and her employee tried to help me. If she tried to help me why would I even waste my time filing a complaint. So basically this whole process was a waste of time and energy because Jessica is going to defend her employees even when they are wrong. I will never use this facility or any Uhaul service again. I’m tired of going through the hassle every time I use them. The company is trash, this facility is trash.

Vehicle was very clean. Terrence was the associate who assisted me with renting a truck. Very personable and polite.

I feel like every time I go to a U-Haul I have to wait a long time just to buy some bubble wrap or something. The experience here was no different. They only seem to have one person on duty, which I feel is ridiculous when people are renting trucks, returning trucks, and the other services that U-Haul has going on.I will say that the lady on duty was very professional and friendly, and apologetic for the wait time.

This is by far the best Experience I have had with UHaul. Service was top notch. I might go back for storage.

READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS THEY ARE ALL TRUE!!! The same thing happened to me. The app wasnt working and it charged me an extra day. They also charged me for insurance that I said I didnt want. The lady that answered the phone I didnt get a chance to get her name because she hung up on me, but Im sure its the same person everyone else has mentioned. She was so RUDE! They are doing FRAUD in there and I will be disputing the charges with my bank.

I had a great experience at this location from the time I walked in until the time I left. The gentleman helped me process my rental I didnt get his name. I believe it was Shalik... The service was great. The young lady that returned my truck Jessica so funny. When youre moving and tired the last thing you need is bad customer service, not here Jessica is such a sweetheart and I will definitely come back to this location for my truck rental needs. If I could give this location more stars I would.

U-Haul always comes in handy when you need a bigger truck to move things around. Customer service is excellent and Mr. T McCarter 👌 took the time to help us meet the needs and size of truck needed, he was also very polite and patient. The Female at the desk was Rude and Unprofessional, I felt sorry for the employee working with her the way she spoke so condescending and ignorant, I have seen Bully Bosses before, I guess she tries to smile for the Surveillance Camera the Uhaul Corp has watching while speaking sarcastic and rude. This one is the worst place to do business at. I cant wait to get my things out of storage. They are always saying they didnt get my payment. And not cashing the check, it come back then they charge a late fee.

The app doesnt work, keeps wiping out info thats entered, it says its their error, but it doesnt help.I had to do in person pick up after registering online.Using social distancing as an excuse the employees made me shout personal information from 6. Truck worked fine.

She Scams her way giving people wrong information on how to return equipment and dont mention anything about the APP and will Charge you a extra Day and a after hours Fee! i return the equipment no damage put more fuel in it then what i had before, and return it on time,...Now im going around circle trying to get my money back... DONT RENT HERE!!!!

Jessica was awesome! However, some of her staff are lacking in customer care. I will never use this U-Haul center again. They want your registration for your vehicle, and then forget to give it back, so very unprofessional. The trucks need repairs that are neglected.

Started a storage unit at this one and man was it clean I’ve been to other storage places and this one was great. Gentlemen in there was very helpful believe his name was Mark. Excellent job going on over there.

We received conflicting information from the facility and the after hour return process is horrible!!! We were told it would be seamless online with the help of the uhaul App, that was a LIE!! There’s No return option on the app and we returned to the facility to find another couple in disarray because they couldn’t get the app to work either. the 24hr chat representative did not note the account like they said they would when we reached out for tech assistance. We were charged and extra $60 and they said we returned the truck a day late even though we had pictures when we dropped the keys in the box

Uhaul is the biggest scam ever. You pay for gas, insurance, milage, the truck and looking at 80$ easy for 40 mi.Dont keep it longer than 1 day bc they will terrorize you for the truck and charge you 50+$ late charge each day.Would get a pod but most arent in my area and are wood boxes with a tarp garbage.Look at specs and then look at the 4ft. man in the picture walking in the 5ft. pod with overhead. 😅😂

Our trucks roof was not fully connected to the cab so when we drove in a rain storm our cab started to get water in it. CHECK YOUR TRUCK FOR WATER LINES BEFORE DRIVING AWAY
