Butte Subaru is the best! I came from out of state to purchase my new Forester. We did the preliminary paperwork over the phone. When I arrived, everything was exactly as talked about, and there were zero surprises. Shane is a rockstar salesman. He was extremely honest, and easy to work with. Butte Subaru gave me the best and fastest service I have ever had of the 14 autos I have owned. I expected to have to wait hours to have my headlights replaced that had been installed incorrectly in Olympia WA but Butte got the job done very quickly and I was on the road again before I could even finish my reading material. Overall meh experience dealing with Butte Subaru. Buying the car was easy as the salesman (Jeff G.) took me seriously from the beginning which was nice but there are a handful of things I wasnt impressed with.Firstly, they wanted $800 to trailer my car from Butte to Billings whereas the Billings and Bozeman Subaru dealers (maybe others but I know these two for sure) offer free delivery to anywhere in the state. The salesman did drive it to me which was nice but not exactly what I wanted.Secondly, my (brand new) car had a handful of scratches on the trunk deep enough to catch your fingernail and a big scuff on the trunk lip upon delivery. Also still had the residue from having tape all over it from shipping. Youd think that a brand new car would be pretty close to perfect condition and free of scrapes, scuffs or scratches and that itd maybe have had the tape lines and grease from whatever marker they used on the hood washed off, right?Third issue was that the salesman left the security interest paperwork that was supposed to filed with the title behind when he left. I called the dealership when I noticed itd been left and spoke to a guy named Graham who was very unpleasant to talk to but did end up giving me an address and who to address it to. Queue 2 weeks and 3 phone calls of being given the run around with no return calls from the guy Id sent the security interest paperwork to before I talked to my bank who finally got it handled.Overall, Im not impressed with Butte Subaru and will go somewhere else next time even if it means waiting a few months for the car Im after.

Got some work done on my 2015 Subaru Outback while in Butte. The service staff were the nicest people Ive ever e countered in a dealership. I had a long service for a recall fix and the constantly checked up on how I was doing and where my car was. I would certainly recommend them if you need work done a friendly touch.

Super friendly, explained everything. Car is running great. Also paid great emphasis as to it being our daughters car and wanting to make sure it was extra safe for her.

Awesome service staff! They went above and beyond expectations when the entire staff helped us work through a tricky situation with our tires. Very friendly and success-oriented people. Highly recommend.

The only thing I would question is the diagnosis as fact. There’s a strong possibility it just needs a good servicing and not a new valve body in that a tiny spect of dirt in the valve body that can be flushed out is the problem. The 2 new screens, pan gasket and fluid “could” solve the problem for about 175.00 bucks versus 1400 bucks just because the computer says so. That code would pop up but no one would know for sure until the pan was dropped and metal filings were found in the pan and filters! It seems to me for good Cust Ser, that would be the proper route for a proper diagnosis. Other than this one issue, everyone is great! Thank u, Dave Ronemus

Went to get a car and they worked with me and my girlfriend endlessly until we finally got a deal we liked and could afford. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, despite multiple setbacks from the banks. They even let us stay after hours while we waited for our ride to pick us up the day prior. While yes it took a few hours to complete the deal, they made sure we were comfortable, happy, and one employee even offered us a ride home. We love our new car and can’t thank Subaru enough!

Appreciate picking me up from work to get my car when done. The last few times I had my car serviced the paper work.said I recieved a car wash and vacuum. My car has not once been vacuumed. Would be nice if the front would be done. Nice people. Thanks.

I was giving up on buying a new car during the pandemic mess- microchip shortages and dealers were not willing to negotiate. Then I found Jeff Giecek and the team at Butte Subaru! A sales person that really listened rather than trying to “sell me” a car. Jeff built my dream car for me and answered all of my questions. This is the second car I have bought from Butte Subaru, the first being in 2010. That experience was so east I thought Id buy from them again. They were just as easy to buy from for our second Subaru as the first. I live more than 200 miles from Butte Subaru but their prices seem to be significantly lower than other dealers in the state. For those reasons Butte Subaru will continue to be one of the first places I look for buying a new Subaru.

We recently turned in a leased Honda CR-V and leased a new Outback from Butte Subaru.From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and cordially, and found everyone willing to help answer our questions and concerns. Our salesman, Jeff Giecek, was very helpful and walked us through and expedited every step in our new lease. The gentleman who handled all our lease numbers and paperwork was also very knowledgeable and helpful in getting through the financial and paperwork process quickly and efficiently.We never felt pressured or “hustled” in any way—nor was there any haggling—we felt it was a fair and reasonable deal, and the whole process was quite smooth and easy.Jeff assured us he would be available at any time on his personal cell phone should we have any questions or issues.

Professional experience with no appointment needed. I explained what was going on with my Subaru and they got it, ran tests, and had diagnosed the problem. within 30 minutes I was driving away in my Subaru.

What an interesting series of events. The service department called me about a recall. Someone drove the 30 minutes to pickup my car and performed all the needed repairs. And return the car nicely cleaned. I was also offered a loaner car while mine was off getting fixed up. Very nice experience. And at no additional charge for the pickup and delivery.

Amazing service as always. I was able to get an appointment first thing on a Monday morning and everything was completed just after lunch. My spare tire was put away better than I would have put it back and the whole car was clean. Very friendly and quick service.

We had car trouble driving across the state to visit my dad in Missoula. Left the car at the overnight drop-off. We got prompt and friendly calls from the service department, and they completed the work early and under estimate. They even got the car warmed up for us, brushed the 5 inches of unexpected snow off of it and pointed us in a good direction to stretch our dogs legs. Thank you!

This dealership has little integrity and doesnt install timing belts correctly. I purchased a car that previously had the timing belt replaced by this dealership, a fact that was confirmed by both Butte Subaru and Carfax. I got my car inspected prior to a cross country roadtrip and the mechanic found that the timing belt was installed incorrectly. After 20,000 miles (Timing belts are good for 105,000) my car was on the brink of failure. I called Butte Subaru assuming that any well-meaning business would guarantee the work they had done, but unfortunately I was met with nothing but resistance and deflection. They refused to right the wrong they had previously committed.For transparency, the timing belt was replaced at Butte Subaru during the tenure of the previous car owner. Though, I dont think this should matter. Ultimately, the dealership didnt do the job correctly and didnt stand by the (shoddy) work they had done.

Nice staff just the prices getting steep used to be 70.00 for a service now it is 85.00 and they use to wash your car now just give you a coupon Also said they used 6 quarts of oil when my car takes 5? And said they never rotated my tires because they was studded but yet still get charged for it studded tires need rotated also now I have to go somewhere else to get that done.

Everyone was very friendly and tried their hardest to find the problem with my vehicle. Offered a rental vehicle and even to drop car off at house when it was finished. I’ve had problems with my car since I bought it and so far they were the only service department that fully listened and tried multiple ways to find the problem.

Took in a promotion flyer on 9/26/20. The staff who tried to assist me, a 20s/30s something guy in a cap, was a weird pushy guy with attitude. He made a few sarcastic remarks about my prize, and whether I wanted it or not. I left without it after his strange attitude. Will not be doing any business at Butte Subura. The guy did not seem appropriate for customer service of any kind. Also, nobody wore masks.

Pulled off the interstate when my Outback warning lights came on and drove straight to the dealership. They got me in right away and had me going in less than two hours. Part was in stock.

Was looking for a used Outback without their CVT transmission. They had none and tried to sell me a new one.Today, a new vehicle is one of the worst investments you can make. As soon as you drive off the lot the n.v ew cat loses 10 to 15% of its value due to depreciation. Not bad years ago when cars didnt cost what they do today.

The staff at Butte Subaru are very knowledgeable on all of the Subaru products. It was very refreshing not being forced into a vehicle I didn’t want. The staff listened to my needs and steered me in the direction of the Crosstrek Premium that I purchased. I could not be happier with my purchase and the follow up customer service I have received.This dealership knows how to make your buying experience extraordinary.

First time to Butte Subaru Service Department, although we have owned and used other subaru Service Departments. They exceeded my expectations and we will be back!

I recommend Subaru of Butte to anyone looking for a Subaru and an exceptional car buying experience.After a less than pleasant experience with the Subaru dealership in Great Falls, I contacted Subaru of Butte to purchase my new Forester. After requesting a quote online, Brett contacted me right away. From the beginning, Brett was respectful of my time and the fact that I had done my homework before shopping. When I told him how much I was comfortable paying, Brett took just a few minutes to run the numbers past the sales manager and called me back to say it was a deal (this was nearly $2k less than the local dealership could do, mind you). On top of receiving a much better quote, Subaru of Butte offered $500 more for my trade-in than the local dealer. As my Forester had to be special ordered to meet all of my requests, Brett got back with me and said that they would take even more off of the already quoted sale price (yes, I paid less than I said I was willing to pay). When I made the last-minute decision to install a block heater, the service department fit it into their schedule so that the car was ready to roll when I drove down to pick it up and close the deal. Upon closing the sale, Troy, the finance manager, was informative about ancillary products without the usual pushiness and condescension. At every turn, Brett and the team at Subaru of Butte took great care of me.This is by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. If you are looking for a straight-forward buying experience without the usual quibbling and mistruths, certainly give Subaru of Butte a shot. Their topnotch, no nonsense customer service was a breath of fresh air, and I was more than happy to make the drive.
