My husband and I bring our vehicles to the Butler PA location, and have for several years. Ryan is very personable and makes us feel very welcome and comfortable in trusting him and his team. Theyve always done a good job on our services, have reasonable rates, are very timely to accommodate appointments, and overall provide satisfaction. We especially appreciate the customer service from Ryan, who provides that small town business feel at a chain shop.

Ive only had my vehicle here twice so far. Both times I received awesome service and very positive attitudes. They explain what needs done and dont try to make you replace things that dont need it.. Will definitely continue bringing my vehicle here.Update: I now bring my wifes car here also. Ryan and his team continue to do an awesome job.

They got me right in which was great. Paid $400 dollars on my muffler work which included welding. Said i would get a year or 2 out of the fix. 1 week later and the weld work failed and my exhaust pipe is falling off. Went back in and left in tears. Never again will i go there. Now i have to find another shop and pay more money.

Was my first stop to attempt a walk in oil change, & they took my vehicle straight back. All associates were friendly and helpful. Cameron, Matt, Josh, & Nate we’re all over it from the moment I walked in the doors!

I go there often to get oil changed.. they need to hire more people it takes way way to long to get anything done there.. car inspection and oil change 3.5hours...................i will say the manager and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.. place could be cleaner for sure..

Was great working with the manager Ryan. He was very friendly and knowledgable. He took the time to explain and show me what was wrong with my vehicle when I have little knowledge of cars. Pricing seems fair especially for the honest work they do and we did get a discount for a minor confusion on his part which made me feel better about the quality of work. I will continue trusting them with my Kia Sorento.

Unfortunately they messed our car up, not huge problems and they are fixing the problem. Will we go bk yes,things happen. Might b different if they didnt apologize , order part, and just not care.

Minor issues like oil change or a flat tire capable. Bigger issues like changing brake lines prepare for a 1 day and a 1/2 job.

I needed new brakes, front and back, called and talked to Mason. He was so kind, patient and professional, he gave me an estimate and did not in anyway pressure me into coming in. No scare tactics, nothing like that. Ive not been to Midas before, I shopped around and called back. It turned out they could take me the same day. I will always go to this Midas. They are all gentlemen there, very professional. When I came to pick up my car I waited while they helped another customer, whom they also treated like gold. You just do not see service like this anymore, how refreshing!

I had a oil change done on my 2011 Acadia today 7/31/2020. Outstanding customer service plus the manager Ryan was extremely helpful and explained what they were going to do and made sure I was satisfied with my service. I was extremely satisfied with my experience and oil change. Being a single father and on a tight budget Ryan made sure I got the best service for the best price in town. Wow these guys were amazing!!! Had an emergency and called everywhere only to be told everywhere was too busy... I called Midas thinking to be told the same although after talking to the manager not only were they able to help me quickly but also with earnest! And to top it all off they were so busy but the manager just wanted to help me out. I really appreciate all of these guys and it gives me peace knowing that there here to help if I need it. I’ve brought my car here several times just to get an oil change and other basic work done. They were professional and nice and the manager Ryan usually has been honest and thorough about my car with me. The reason why I gave them two stars was I recently just brought my car in last week for an inspection and they said I needed new struts and sway links and quoted me $2500. Before I was willing to drop that kind of cash, I took my car to the dealership to get a second opinion and the dealership said NOTHING was wrong. No struts or sway links needed to be replaced or was even close to needing to be replaced. I’m so glad I had the foresight to not let them work on my car. So if you just need an oil change or basic work done, they’re good for that but any actual work, just beware.

Took me in on a very short notice. was very helpful and timely in getting me a new tire. every person I talked to was professional and nice. would highly suggest this Midas to anyone local.

Called at noon asking to get a state inspection on my wife’s Jetta as my own shop was out of inspection stickers (my fault) I’m an inspection mechanic, found no issues with our own car. Ryan said to drop it off and they’d get to it same day. Every other place I called were all 10-15 days out. Great shop. Called stating it was done and did not have any repairs needed, honesty is the key. Not like other Midas. Thanks Ryan.

Amazing service every time I bring my car here. Ryan is always polite, informative, and personable. The staff give me a heads up about how my car is doing, but never pressure me into getting additional services on top of what I came in for. That’s huge for me because most auto shops see a young woman, and totally try to capitalize on it by getting me to add on 75 things I don’t actually need. Great prices on top of that! I’ll keep coming back.

Fast quick great customer service

The manager was BEYOND HELPFUL!!! We were on a budget due to covid and the manager went above and beyond to help us! I would recommend this business very highly. The staff was wonderful, the waiting area and bathroom were very clean and I will be returning with all of my brake, tire, and oil change needs!

Took from 3:30pm until 5:00pm for the oil change and I wasn’t in a hurry or anything but they sure did take they time when my car was there was only two cars in there. Then tried to charge me 618$ for the replacement of the rear driver coil spring. One mechanic told me it was both rear coil springs , the other one said just the driver side rear , the paper stated just the driver side rear. Took it too another mechanic and checked it for ourselves and the coil springs and bottom and top brackets still look pristine . The coil spring still and the tags on them and were not broke and the brackets were in even great shape with the rubber bushings still underneath the spring. The only thing that could have been wrong is the car might have been lower than liked. Then called and asked about it and they said it just wiggles a little but continued to tell me both rears would need replaced And wrote just one on the legitimate paperwork . Not satisfied at all I am mechanically inclined and don’t appreciate trying to be scammed out of 618$.

I came here in the beginning of June to get an oil change since I waited long the manager Ryan gave me the light I needed for free. Then I just came in today and ryan once again was very nice and professional. I used to live in Butler, but moved to Pittsburgh since the beginning of June I’ll only let these guys work on my car. So I don’t mind always driving an hour to get my cars fixed.

Ryan quoted me at $2000 for inspection and labor cost. It only cost me $227 for inspection repairs at an honest garage. This place is not recommended !!!

Midas has scared the hell out of me in the past when I lived in MD. We moved back 2.5 years ago and came here for an oil change and muffler. The service and pricing was OUTSTANDING! Ive used them for everything since. I highly recommend this Midas ONLY. I cannot speak about other stores.

The service i received there was amazing. They walked you step by step. Let you go in and look at the car. Also the manager Ryan was so helpful. I brought my car back to have fluids hecked. He remembered me. And told me if i ever needed anything to stop back. My husband brought his truck in for oil change . They again gave us the best customer service experience. I highly recommend the butler midas. Ryan the manager there is so helpful explains stuff and helps put any way possible.

Excellent Service! Had the pleasure of talking to Ryan and after doing a brake inspection he walked us through what was and wasnt wrong with our vehicle. He was able to fit our appointment in short notice and had our vehicle done in a timely manner. Definitely worth driving an hour from Clarion, Pa. Well be back!

I was driving down to the dentist right next to these guys and our cover for the bottom of our car came undone... They put a quick fix on for no charge and in my short amount of time needed! Super nice guy handling upfront, totally worth sropping in for.

I scheduled with Ryan an appointment to have my rear brakes changed at 5pm. I got there at 5:10 and had to stand around waiting for a customer to pay. The tech that was doing that wasnt even Ryan. That guy was all set and I continued to stand around and wait for Ryan who didnt even come up to until about 5:25, starting telling me its too late to do my rear brakes because its a half hour til they close. That wasnt true because it wasnt even 5:30 yet. After 5 minutes of going back and forth and ge kept saying I wasnt here on time...true, yes.....but he still wouldve had 50 minutes to do the rears brakes. Finally I took my keys off the clipboard and left. Ive been here once before with my previous car, so probably 5 or 6 years ago. Dont go here.....its a waste of time.

Wow what a great experience. My wife and two kids went in for an oil change and tire rotation. The manager told us that our tires were wearing funny and that he’d like to do a free alignment check. After checking the alignment we all found out how bad it was out and thanks to the manager and guys that work here for actually caring about my vehicle to check the alignment for me!!! They were very honest and courteous and saved me money down the road!! Thanks guys. Keep up the good work

Will never go back again I use to go there all the time spent lots of money there. Had them put an exhaust hanger on my truck that they put on with out any weld gas and it broke off surprise seen that coming so I go back to have them fix it it would take 5 mins to weld but Ryan the manger said they were to busy that it would be hours but yet there was only one car in the shop sorry but it doesn’t take 6 hours to weld one exhaust hanger that should of been done right the first time and he wouldn’t give me his managers number

The staff is always friendly, the facility is comfortable, & the service is great. Ive been there several times over the past 2 years with varying maintenance needs & never had a complaint. I appreciate that all of the mechanics are very patient & willing to kindly answer my questions.

I had my doubts with midas, but I took my truck in for an oil change, and they had me in and out real quick. They even looked it over and showed me other things that I will have to fix soon. Ryan was real nice about it.

Very awesome. They were very busy and I walked in for an oil change. The manager said they’d very much be able to do my oil change right then n there. I thought it would take a long time but they had me in and out and went over my vehicle with me in great detail in about an hour! Very good job guys I recommend this Midas to everyone!

This store was great unlike many other auto shops I’ve been too. The manager Ryan was very courteous and honest. I walked in for an oil change and noticed they were packed, but I still wanted to see when and if they could do it. Ryan told me that they could do it and they will get it done for me ASAP if I wanted to wait on it. An hour later I left with my oil changed and a new filter because the old one was pretty bad. This Midas location has friendly staff and are very quick to get me in for my appt window. I had an appointment for a Transmission fluid flush 2 weeks ago and today I got my Coolant system flushed. They got me in before my time window was even 5 minutes in. I havent experienced any issues at all and will definitely return. Thank you to the job well done of the Midas employees of Butler😁

Let me start by saying I have been a customer of Midas in Butler, Pa for years. I bring all my vehicles there and typically have great service with no issues. Today was a mess.. I made an appointment and dropped my car off in the morning. When I arrived I was greeted and instead of looking to see what my vehicle usually takes for oil, he asked me. I was under the impression that it was semi synthetic. I told him I WASNT SURE but I think in the past it was. I take my cars to Midas because you guys are SUPPOSED TO BE THE EXPERTS..... Than I get a phone call saying my tires need balanced. My tires were JUST put on and were balanced. So you are telling me because you cant see wheel weights that they need balanced (thats what my paperwork says)??? The tires have internal wheel weights.. Midas has NEVER tried to sell me things I didnt need... until today.So when I come to pickup my car up the guy asks me why I put semi synthetic oil in it and I was dumbfounded. I told him I thought thats what is usually in it... So I get charged $43.06 because your mechanic didnt even look to see if thats what it needed.. My car has 50,000 miles on it, why in the heck did you put HIGH MILEAGE OIL IN IT ???Great Service.Finally, I get in my car to leave and they couldnt even take the 10 seconds to reset my oil change percent nor did they put a sticker on my windshield,Someone seriously dropped the ball...

Came here on a Friday late in the afternoon with a flat tire. I was told they had previous appointments they were work on it would take a couple hours but if I leave the tire with them it would be first thing in the morning. I would highly recommend this Midas. The men that work here including the manger are amazing, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. But these poor guys need air conditioning, it was 90° the sweat was dripping in their eyes but they kept going.

The service at this Midas was fantastic. They had my car in and out of the shop very quick, and efficiently. It was just an oil change but my car is running like a champ now. The assistant manager was super friendly, and she helped me so much. I will for sure be back again for every oil change in the future. :)

I havent been to this place in a few years because of old mistakes they used to make such as not changing oil filters and even caught them charging someone for a coolant flush and they didnt even do the service which is a common thing in these chain auto repair service and quick lube places. Well my mother got her oil changed there on an older Audi and of course they did not put a drain plug gasket on. So it was leaking oil pretty good and I had to end up re doing the oil change myself not even a few days later. Save the headaches people and avoid places like this and find a good local mechanic. In Butler there a few such as Pints Inspection plus and Ricks Auto.

Got my tires mounted and balanced when no one else in town could do it.

I am a regular customer. I am pretty picky with automotive shops and I am glad to have chosen MIdas in Butler. My most recent interaction was an emergency situation where my tire valve stems were frozen in place and could not be removed. I thought this was because my mechanical abilities were so poor I couldnt even fill my tire with air. After a few tries of doing this on my own, I went to my auto place and communicated my situation to Ryan, who was my contact in the past. I was alarmed because I had to drive about 150 miles and my tire psi was at 26psi. He assured me this is common, which I didnt know and assured me I did the right thing. He alleviated my stress effectively and quickly. He tried using the needlenose plier, as I did previously, to no avail. We discussed options in event they were irreparably seized which could be expensive. He tried one last time with channel locks and was able to free the valve of its cap. It was because of aluminum caps which freeze up due to oxidation. He gave me 4 plastic caps (free) and installed them. I was out of there in 20 minutes. My problem was solved, my stress was gone and I was very happy with my local Midas shop. I will keep coming back and feel my money is well spent here as well as this being the first mechanical place I totally trust. Thanks Ryan!

Outstanding experience. I just needed an oil change, but I also got my windshield wipers replaced and replaced a headlamp, for which a diagnostic test had to be run to find out where the problem was. Everything was just a bit over $100. Randy was great. Its always good to have a positive experience!

They are awesome! Went to them twice about my tires and they fixed them with no charge at all and just very nice people all in all!

I had an overall amazing experience especially with Ryan I believe he is the head machanic he does an amazing job in satisfaction for the costumers. Everytime I go in no matter what it is I’m done within and hour or two. There parts come in fast. I recommend going to Midas if you need work done to your vehicle. I have found that, since the change in managers approximately 6 months ago, the overall customer service has declined dramatically. I feel the manager appears to be uninterested and, at times, blunt in communicating. I take both my personal car and company car here for service and inspection but will more than likely go elsewhere from here on.

Service was very slow

Left my car there for an inspection and then got a call saying my windshield wipers/sprayers werent working, and theyd take a look for $70 + their hourly fee to fix it.I told them Id just come get the car and fix it myself, and when I got there the wipers worked fine! I showed them and finally they gave it a pass. Obviously a scam to take advantage of people who dont feel like driving back out and just want their car ready to go. Just go somewhere else, dont waste your time and money.

Stopped just to have a tire looked at for a leak. I was told no problem 10 min I had to leave there for work by 2. I got there at 1240 waited until 210 and they never even came back out to talk to me. I opened the door to tell them I was leaving I could no longer wait they said ok. I do not think I will ever be going back or recommend this business to anyone

I got fast service. I called with my breaks completely out. I had called other places and they couldnt fit me in for days. I was excited when he said that I could bring my van in and have it fixed that same day. Im from out of state and need my van for work. They fixed it and showed me how the caliper blew up and wore my router down and my breaks were bad. The only thing I had a problem with was the cost. My mechanic at home said he would have charge 350.00 at the most. They charged me 775.00.

I took my jeep for an oil change. I will definitely be returning for additional needs in the future. The manager and gentleman that took care of me were extremely kind and careful with my jeep.I highly recommend this facility.

They didnt tighten everything in my engine and things began coming loose 5 minutes after I left. Went back and they tried charging me $100+ to fix their own mistake. Dishonest people
