I went here for the first time. I definitely recommend. I found a picture on Pinterest, see last photo with both nails white and design. I didnt expect nor wanted exactly the same. I wanted all my nails with white gel nail polish. The person doing my nails was honest and said he couldnt do that design but someone else would do their best. I was extremely happy with the results. Again, they didnt do it exactly the same but I asked for something alike and I was happy. I got a lot of compliments on my nails.

Go here. Dont hesitate, dont shop around, dont try some other spot. Go here. Now I have only had Diane do my nails, and Im biased so Ill only ever have Diane do my nails because I adore her and she can read my mind and has always given me beyond what I asked for. She takes great care of my hands and forgives me for the terrible job I do at taking care of them myself. If shes available, I highly recommend booking with her. With that being said this shop is incredible, its impeccably clean, everyone in there has always been welcoming and kind, and the work they all do is nothing but high quality. You wont be disappointed!!

I am in LOVE definitely coming back again. Mia did my nails and I couldnt be happier. She was funny sassy and all around a great person. I am very shy so she made me feel comfort an asked if I was okay. She took her time on every nail and made sure each one looked the same. They definitely are about quality over quantity.

Seriously the best place to get your nails done!! The staff is incredibly friendly and gentle. Throughout my service, the woman doing my nails kept checking to make sure I liked everything she was doing and told me to let her know if she was hurting me at all. In addition to this, the salon was exceptionally clean and the prices were very affordable! I live about 30 minutes away from the salon and there are certainly other nail places closer to me but this place just blows all of the other salons out of the water. HIGHLY recommend!

I liked that all the tools were cleaned with an autoclave and not shared between clients. That seems to be very hard to find in WA. Im afraid the rest of the salon was not as clean. I got gel manicure and when I put my hands on the (very dirty!!!!!) UV lights it burned my nails! And there were A LOT of pock marks left on every nail.

Very disappointed with my acrylic nails! After leaving the salon and taking a closer look at my nails I realize there was a large gap between my thumb and the fake nail. I went back and nicely ask them to fix it. I received excuse after excuse on why it was like that and they only wanted to fill the gap so my nail would have been a quarter of an inch thick. I said no, they needed to be removed and put on correctly... They did end up fixing it in the end but we’re not happy with me! I do not recommend the salon.

Special mother daughter treat - bought most expensive mani pedi champagne treatment - my service provider compared to my daughters provider obviously did not want to be doing his job. My nails were left snagging and not filed properly, the callous I had hoped would be disappeared on my foot is still noticeable and the whole experience was soooo disappointing and my daughter paid nearly $300 for this “treat” - don’t do it. My unfortunate mistake.RESPONSE TO OWNER: I did not receive tips as you mentioned, my manicure was only clipping my nails and buffing them. No polish on my fingernails. They were not “filed” properly which is why they have snagged and broken.I did not complain at the time because it was my birthday gift and I did not want the unpleasantness of complaining nor to disrespect your establishment or my daughter.However, with the experiences of my nails snagging and breaking and my callous on my foot still being prominent, I felt it was important to write this review so you can improve your practice.Also, the way you talk about the charges shows a lack of gratitude for the payment you received for your services, which I am sure included a tip that brought the total amount closer to $300. My daughter mentioned this amount when she encouraged me to go back in and get the paint on my toe fixed. Since she had paid so much for your services, she did not want me to go home with a messed up pedicure. Thank you for repairing the paint on my toe.

Jabooda is my favorite nail salon to go to in WA (I live both here and down in Southern Cali). The people are all nice and fun to talk too. A very clean environment. They always do my nails exactly the way I want them and make me feel like I have a new favorite set every time. I always get a full set and very long haha.

Jabooda nail salon is the absolute best. The staff like each other, they joke and have a good time and provide EXCELLENT service. The salon is clean, organized, well-priced and managed with professionalism. I appreciate the straight talk of the manager. Mia runs a great business and impresses me with her strong leadership.

I’m from Georgia but I’ve lived all over because of my job as a flight attendant and my bf is military. We’ve recently moved to Burlington. I am impressed with the customer service, friendliness, service and cleanliness especially because of covid. I’m not sure how their prices compare to other salons nearby but I don’t care to find out. I’m here for three years and this is going to be my nail salon. My schedule is unpredictable so I’m a walk in customer, Cynthia knows me now and either she sets me up with an appointment same day or someone is available. I’ve had Tom and Mia as my nail techs and both did a great job. I have short nails and acrylic nails pop of easily with many other salons I’ve tried. NOT HERE. My boyfriend said, “Wow you’re nails are still on.” He knows the experiences I’ve had at other salons in other states. If you’re searching for a nail salon... search NO MORE! This is a great salon. 5 out of 5 stars.

Today I got pedicure and full set gel by Mia. First of all this place is very clean and very professional. I had an appointment and they were on time even tho they were short handed. I felt very welcomed. She did my nails exactly how I wanted. She even helped me pick a color because I was having a hard time. Even tho they were short handed she took her time to make sure I got what I wanted. I come to this nail salon regularly but took a break for a few months. Defiantly amazing staff and owner. Oh my goodness! Favorite place I have EVER been to and favorite nails I’ve EVER had and I’ve been getting my nails done for 3 years! Tom was doing my nails today and The place was so friendly and they check my temperature to make sure they kept a clean corona free place and this is the first place that didn’t give me a weird look when I showed them the length I wanted and was so precise and clean with my nails freindly atmosphere I 10/10 recommend! Made me feel like a princess!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Got a dip set, and 2 nails chipped within 3 days. Came in to get them fixed, like they offered, and they literally fixed just the two nails. Now I have completely different colored nails, and they proceeded to make me feel like it’s my fault because I didn’t remember the color number. Do your job right the first time, and you wouldn’t have to worry about your “7 day guarantee.”

Very friendly and professional. I love that they use a plastic insert to cover the foot soak baths which is changed between customers. Clean and comfortable. On time service. I have been elsewhere before and have found myself waiting for over 30 minutes even when I made an appointment. Not at Jabooda! I make my appointment and within a couple minutes my pedicurist is working on me.

I had a great first experience at Jabooda! I just got a fill, he shaped them so nicely! Tom was lovely and kind and helped me the achieve the exact look I was hoping for!

I called and was able to get an appointment that day, an hour before they closed. I got a full set and two designs for a very good price. When I realized they closed at 7, I felt like I didnt want to ask for anything but a color, but the very sweet lady who checked me in (I didnt get her name, unfortunately) assured me that it would be no problem and whatever I wanted I could get. She was very sweet and the technician, Raven, was professional and kind. She even took a little extra time to help me decide exactly what type of top coat would look good with my design. Tom was very wonderful and easy to talk to, will have to come back for another appointment. The nail spa was clean and comfortable, hardly anyone at mid-day. Prices were decent and I dont mind pay alittle extra for the solitude.Ill test their gel nail polish and see how it stays, Ive had issues with other salons before.

At first I was worried to try a new salon after being burned with the drills at every other place I’ve been to but was so excited when the technician I was with (Tom) was so gentle! Showed him what I wanted and was pleased to see they turned out way better than the photo! This salon was also taking COVID precautions which made me feel like it’s the perfect place to go to even with a pandemic! Product is 100% what you pay for and definitely lives up to the reviews!

Great place to go for a Relaxtion time

After moving to the area and having two less than desirable, if not down right horrible nail appointments, finding Mia at Jabooda was a god send. Amazingly talented, listens to her customer and has a vivacious personality. Literally the nail tech I’ve been searching for!! Super clean shop, researched products, highly trained staff. Quality over quantity❤️❤️

The last time I was here, somebody elses nail clippings were still on the station where he was going to do my service. As a beauty professional, I know how important sanitation is, and this leads me to believe they do not properly clean their stations and/or salon in general. This is unacceptable and I left and didnt even end up getting my nails done because of this. The younger guy is super rude and made me feel like I was a bother. I would NOT recommend this place AT ALL. Judging by some of the owners responses, not only uncleanly, but rude also. I would NEVER speak to or treat a client how I have seen in other reviews. I have never seen a place blame the customers for their incompetence! To insinuate Im not being truthful, is not a good business practice. Blaming the clients is BS, i have been in the beauty business for 20 years and I have NEVER seen a salon owner treat customers like this and still be in business. All of the owners responses are rude and do nothing but put the blame on the customers instead of taking responsibility. I do a better job doing my own nails tbqh. Condescending owner who needs to go back to school to learn the customer (who keep your business in business) service.To the owner, you dont need to respond with excuses and trying to blame me.

At first I was really impressed then I get home realize not much of a scrub was done on my feet they spent more time lathering my feet and cutting my toenails which all felt amazing but the biggest problem was my ugly man feet which they barely scratched the surface, it was my first Pedi so I guess I found out the hard way its best to go to a podiatrist for major feet issues

I got one of the spa packages. Which included hot tea and stone rocks and collagen foot soak. I was impressed by their interior decor and vibes were good. I wish they would of included callus removing not just the spa treatment. I really needed my feet to be softer. I believe they have multiple package deals. I would recommend this spa to my friends and family.

Absolutely loved my experience! Raven was passionate about her work and was so friendly! We had great conversations and she did an amazing job on my nails. She created the exact shape I wanted and did such a cute design as well. At the end she took pictures and was showing off my nails to her coworkers. She was very proud and genuinely cared about her work. Is definitely be my new favorite place. Worth every penny.

Raven is very talented and can do any design you ask her to do! I always leave obsessed over my nails. And customer service here is great, they help suggest different ideas if you dont know what you want. If you brake a nail you come back and they’ll fix it for you right away!

They are always super sweet and fast to get you and get started. They take their time to make sure that you will like what you are getting. This is my third time going to them and I am never going to anyone else. I would definitely recommend to others.

My friend and I were very excited to try this place! We made an appointment got ready and came, we were helped right away and greeted by a very nice girl. We picked our colors. When I showed one of the workers what I wanted he said it was a sticker, it was just a simple flower. When I asked if he could do flowers he said no they are too hard. Very disappointing, I’ve never been to a place that can’t do flowers. We left after to find someone that could. Was really excited to try this place too :(

Too expensive for the quality of work. Raised their prices after covid. When gel polish peels after two days, owner will only fix the nails that peeled with the SAME polish. If more peel, youre screwed! Charges another $30 for polish change. $55 originally.I will not be back. Found a much more reasonably priced salon with much better Covid precautions with one phone call.

First time I have been to Jabooda after previous visits to other nail salons and not being %100 happy at those places. Jabooda was very clean and professional. Super friendly! Best place to go in the county. I work in a fast pace restaurant, Ive always had issues with nails falling off and breaking until I started coming here. Ive tried all the places in the county and they put the most time and Care into their clients, great customer service. They have the biggest color range and offer different specialties other local places do not have. Only place where my nails wont break off within the first week of having them. Worth the price.

Took my daughter-in-law and granddaughter plus myself on a Friday to get both a manicure and pedicure. They forgot to do my daughter-in-law‘s manicure until I reminded them. The girl who did my manicure and pedicure was not very friendly.We went out of town that weekend and then on Sunday one of my daughter-in-law’s finger nails peeled so on Monday after work she went to ask them to fix it. You think they’d do this at no charge ... wrong! Taking my business elsewhere next time.

I went to a different nail salon due to skagit county going into phase two after Island county. I drove all the way to Oak Harbor and had a full set done. I will never ever go anywhere else again. I got in to see Tom at Jabooda and he fixed the awful mess I was left with and made my nails gorgeous again. Ive learned my lesson!

This is an amazing, professional nail salon. They fixed my nails and they look so beautiful now.Yesterday, I went to get my first set of acrylics at a different salon. They were awful. The service itself was awful, with my nail technician bouncing between me and one other person. The shape was clunky, the paint looked like it was a week or so old, and the acrylic was applied poorly.Jabooda is the opposite of the salon mentioned above. I will be coming back and bringing friends with me!

Nail techs are all good at what they do. They offer additional services like any salon to try and get up sales but arent pushy about it if you decline the extras. Due to being busy I recently went 5 weeks without a fill and none of my nails were lifting like they have after 2 weeks when Ive had them done other places.

Took my daughter in to get our nails done and it was quite an experience. What we wanted only 1 person could do. So we were going basic I picked out 2 colors because I had to do powder acrylic because apparently it was better. However the first color I picked couldn’t be used because she had to do something else to it. So she had me pick another color. Then that color didn’t have enough powder. Then she asked me what shape. So I told her and she said well with you fingers you should do coffin. I said what is that. SHE SAYS TRUST ME YOU WILL LIKE. As she is shaping them she says it’s $5 extra. I said more than once I wanted thicker nails because I do a lot of typing and she said I can do that but I’ll make them look natural. They are thin not what I asked for and since I am paying I should get what I ask for right?!? Then after she puts these globs of acrylic color on my nails she starts filing them and the color is coming off so she goes and gets polish and paints them! However she still charges me for this acrylic powder! All in all it takes her an hr and 15 min. My daughter went over to a gentleman and it took her 35 min for the same thing. Can’t say I’ll be back. $105 for 2 sets! SERIOUSLY?!?!?To your response, no it doesnt. I was told to do the acrylic powder because it was better however no part of it was better. Not only were my nails a different color but they werent even done how i wanted them. So no we probably wont be back. And honestly I have NEVER been charged for someone to fix my nails when they have broken or had an issue.Thanks

I had a bad experience at another salon so I was hesitant to get my nails done anywhere. Mia was phenomenal!!! Totally put me at ease and was very gentle with my nails and I love them!!! My friend is testing out nails for her wedding and she loves her nails too. I will definitely be driving all the here (I live in south Everett) to come here. 😊

My friend and I got our feet done today at Jabooda and I’m not impressed at all!! They were very rude while doing our pedicure! We felt like we were an issue to them and we sensed them talking about us. If my foot slipped on the towel due to it being wet or if my friend didn’t hold her foot to their standard, they were rude or got a tone. Neither one of our pedicures were good. My heels and toes barely got scrubbed, let alone touched and I need to finish them at home. Not okay!! We spent more time letting our polish dry than the actual pedicure time! Our massage chairs were even being testy! :/ The pedicure was very rushed and it was a terrible experience!! The only good thing about this experience is the color we chose for our toenails. We love how the colors we chose are so vibrant and summery! And the salon smelled and looked clean and was pretty. I have been to this salon one other time and thought it was a good spot to go, so I returned. NEVER AGAIN will my friend or I come back to Jabooda!!!! We will find a better spot to go where we feel comfortable and will have MUCH better service!!! The money is NOT worth it here!! We both traveled 45 minutes to get our feet done here today too. I do not recommend coming here! Sorry Jabooda.

Not kid friendly at all. The prices are the same for a child as an adult but nevertheless they are just pushed to the side. My daughter was reprimanded for moving after sitting patiently for almost two hours. Im not sure why I even made an appointment. I cant believe how rude the owner was to my 10 year old daughter. If two people using the same color is such a problem you could have mentioned that in the beginning. Definitely put a hardship in our mother daughter day! Luckily for is there are nail shops on every corner 🤷‍♀️

My daughter and I came for mani pedis last Saturday. The shop is clean and everyone was super nice. We were getting ready for a wedding so my daughter had a cat eye manicure unfortunately it chipped and peeled within 4 days. Her pedicure didn’t hold up much better. My nails still look good.Thank you for the offer to redo my daughter’s nails, she will be there Saturday.
