Our small group had a great time being educated, entertained and having lots of fun on lake Champlain. Dean and Gideon are knowledgeable, thoughtful, allowed us to bring our small dog on board, and made us laugh a lot. Next time I hope to book a longer trip. Thank you Gideon and Dean for a superb experience.

This was one of the most relaxing enjoyable experiences my wife and I have ever had. Captain Gideon and his mate were awesome. I would highly recommend going sailing with them.

Nice sail, but would have like to have heard more about the lake, the history, legends, and geography. The only commentary (other than answered questions) was Thats Juniper Island. There is so much more to say about the lake and shoreline. Very patched up boat does not present itself well.

Let’s Go Sailing is THE premiere sailing service in the area! Gideon is the captain and owner/operator. Book him for a fantastic 2-hr boat ride at sunset for $60/ea. Tons of great stories about the area and fun conversation! Free drinks are a plus! A must do if you want to be out on the water.

We had so much fun with Dean and Gideon. Nice guys with lots of knowledge. It was very relaxing, even with the wind. I definitely will be back with my family. A couple things: 1) the website says to either call with cc but do not email. This is true but you can book through the website using cc or PayPal. I thought it was a little confusing. Also, they are located (their boat) on the back side of the Splash restaurant. You have to walk thru the restaurant to meet them. There isn’t a kiosk or anything to meet them so just go to the boat. “Let’s Go Sailing” is on the mast. You can’t miss them. This was a such a fun experience.

I just got done enjoying an amazing sail with Captain Gideon. It was my first sail ever and now I want my own boat! When the wind picked up a little my fiance wanted to try to keep going faster but Captain Gideons experience prevailed and he gave us the perfect ride. Conditions on the 5:00 trip were amazing. We took our 2 children (ages 2 and 7) to a 10:00 a.m. tour. He was very skilled at sailing, had the perfect balance of conversation and letting us just take in the views. We loved it so much that our kids asked to go again. Definitely a highlight to our time in Burlington. Gideon was fantastic as was his crewman, Dean.

Went on 7pm - 9pm sunset cruise with Captain Gideon and had a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this excursion! We had 4 people on the boat and we had plenty of room and the experience made me feel like a Kennedy! I had a blast talking to Captain Gideon, as he is quite a character! This will not be my last time going out with Captain Gideon! He is the owner/operator and takes great pride in his work. Oh yeah, the lake is the like the most amazing thing ever also!

TEN STARS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐On a whim, while on vacation in Vermont, my husband and I decided we needed to go on a boat road. Goodle lead me to Lets Go Sailing. And I am SO happy that we went on the 4pm 2 hour cruise on Gideons sailboat. Gideon was professional and courteous to us. We shared the boat with another couple and a Captain named Tim. Everyone was so friendly. It was a smooth sail. Relaxing. And the weather was gorgeous to top it all off. I highly recommend this cruise.

My fiance and I had an amazing adventure with Captain Gideon! The day started hot and sunny but by 5:00 it had cooled off and Captain Gideon brought the wind making for perfect sailing conditions. At the end of the sail he wowed everyone dining at the Boathouse by docking the ship in a highly technical manueuver while completely under sail power. The 5:00 sail was perfect for our tastes and Im definetely going to try the sunset tour next time were in town. Thanks again Captian for making our day!

Spent four fantastic hours sailing with Gideon. He is knowledgeable of the area, an excellent sailor, and very personable. I have sailed in New England, Southern California, and the BVI and Gideon had no issue with me taking the helm for the entire trip, including docking under sail. This is the best way to experience Lake Champlain.

Just went out on a 2hr sail. Very nice well maintained boat with space for 6+. We brought some drinks and snacks for a cruise around the lake. He had a cool American flag spinnaker perfect for the 4th of July. Next time were back we will book another sail!
