They do auto repair right and stand behind their work. They have gone above and beyond what I expect from an auto repair shop. They are friendly, reliable and will work with you to schedule an appointment. They also have towing. My family and I have been going there for 9 years. Also they are a DMV authorized station so I get my license plates/emission test there every year.

I came here to renew the tags for my car as I do every year because I dont know of any other place in town that we can renew our vehicle tags. This year their machine was down so I left, and returned a few more times during that month. Their machine was still down . . . for almost that entire month. Finally, they told me to go to the car dealer just outside of town. Now, normally I wouldnt have a problem with that because, afterall, technology isnt very reliable. However, the reason I have a MAJOR problem this time, is because they should have told me about the dealer earlier. But due to them waiting a month to tell me - I had to pay a late fee. I wouldnt have had to do that if they were upfront in the beginning. Because of this Im no longer going to be going here. Theres no acceptable reason for them to do this: make me pay a late fee. Because of their negligence, they should reimburse me that money.

Peggy was AMAZING!!! We were in a huge pinch, over three hours from our business, with our employees broke down in Burlington. I googled service centers and found Mertens Auto & Towing and called in a panic as the day was drawing to a close. Peggy was more than helpful, not only with promising to help us service our vehicle, but in aiding us in finding a rental vehicle and getting my employees to it. Got pulled out today, was quoted between $70-90 on the phone, charged $200. Literally took them less than 5 minutes to pull me out of my driveway.b couldnt believe it. Had I known I would have waited and pulled myself out with a chain using my other truck. Not cool, shady way to conduct business.

They damaged my mothers break lines. When I came to pick it up I had no breaks when I went to drive away and almost crashed. They didnt want to take responsibility for it either. Nobody I know will ever go here again and Ive known these people for years. Sad.

The mechanics are knowledgeable, the office staff are professional and friendly. They get you in and out in the shortest time possible and they dont try to cheat you.

Tried to call to get an emissions test done on two separate days. First time, the person answering the phone was very rude. Second time, no one even picked up the phone when I called on two separate occasions. Guess Ill try elsewhere.
