I went in today (Wednesday) 09/01/2021 @ 12:30 & it was two ladies and a gentlemen in the shop at the time working. (One lady was doing feet and the guy was also doing feet). I was greeted by the young lady with blond looking hair. She asked what I wanted and I told her gel nail polish (color change) on my real nails. She started taking the gel polish off & then asked me what color I wanted. I politely said I wanted a different color on each nail so (5 nude shade colors). I didn’t ask for any designs or anything like that so the work was pretty simple. Just pure polish.She looked at me and said “5 colors” like i had insulted her. She then stood up and walked off speaking Vietnamese to the other coworkers. I’m looking at her laugh and point at the colors I wanted and then the other two workers turned around to look at me. Very unprofessional. I usually tip really well when I go there, never again. I politely asked her to remove the polish she started on and she got really aggressive with my nails because I told her I no longer wanted polish from her. When she was done. I left. She even made my real nails chip on the side and acted like that did not matter to her when she noticed it.Find somewhere else to go.

Very clean, friendly and welcoming. They do a wonderful job. Very reasonable prices. Love this place. They take their time with you. I even got a neck massage while my fingers were drying. What a treat! Best eyebrow waxing I have ever had. I highly recommend it.

Spent lots of money here to be treated LESS ! EACH time I came Tina jokingly says FIVE DOLLARS ... I guess they wanted more money in tips which they werent warranted by their work ! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GIVE THIS NAIL SHOP ONE RED PENNY !

Unfortunately, I did not have a very good experience. They were very sweet and helpful and I appreciated their service; however, there were a couple of mishaps I could not overlook. I asked for a design which they were not able to do. Instead, I got a design I did not ask for and I could have done myself. It was of poor quality and looked as if a child did it. They used a fine point sharpie as a tool to grab the nail polish and it has only been 3 days and my toes have already chipped. I would not be coming here again.

V is the acrylic nail tech, and he’s the only one that does acrylic nails and sometimes it’s difficult to schedule when you want. Also he doesn’t have many options with nail designs it’s basic acrylic and polish. Would love to have different acrylic colors and designs. How do I say this delicately, customer service in these shops are some what challenging, but hey nails aren’t gonna paint them selves.

Hands down the nail salon in Buford. The owner is wonderful at doing nails and is also very nice-he will text me and ask if I’d like to schedule an appointment at the three week mark. His daughter is great as well- does an awesome SNS (perfect shape, not bulky, and shiny). The women doing the pedicures are meticulous and friendly. My manicure and pedicures are always awesome and both last for weeks. Give them a try you will not regret it.

I couldnt decide what rating to give. Ive been going to Tinas Nails for years. All of the comments posted here are valid. The nail salon usually has decent service but my post is for the poor customer service by management. The technicians are GREAT indeed while management needs serious improvement on how to treat everyone fairly. The truth is if you are of a certain persuasion, you get the red carpet rolled out for you. If not, you are lucky to get a shady hello if greeted. I thought I was seeing improvement over the years but too often, Ive witnessed and experienced rudeness and discourtesy. My last visit was awkward, and a few visits prior as well. Not a good feeling and although I really like the technicians, it was time to speak up about the unfair and intolerable treatment that will make anyone uncomfortable.

Arrived at 9AM on Friday morning and graciously welcomed. I was the first in and this is my first experience. Because it was my first time I always ask for basic services( if you can treat me well when I don’t need much it is indeed a PLUS). My nails a feet were a complete wreck from a prior salon visit at another establishment across the street. Needless to say I will be returning and upgrading my services. Today I received an acrylic fill in,as well as a basic pedicure and both turned out amazing!! I thought that I would be rushed as people started to float in, but that was not the case. Pedicure (Cindy) and Fill in (V)!!

This place is so bomb. This is now my new spot! Idc if I have to drive 24 minutes. It is definitely worth it. They are very friendly and are perfectionist. They play music too. I dont know what they are saying in the songs but its soothing and they give you a massage. This has to be best nail salon that Ive ever gone too. Just absolutely amazing!!!! Sidney did my feet and showed them love and Lee did my nails. From the looks of it they all were perfectionist and seemed so nice.

Seriously Im in love with this place! I get acrylics done almost every month and theirs last the whole month! Every staff member pays attention to details and goes above and beyond. I live in Dahlonega and drive 40 minutes just because of their service! This past time I went sonny recommended a color similar to the one I was wearing and I love it! I don’t think I will ever go back. My experience was not great at all. The guy that performed my service which was a full set and I wanted powder which they didn’t know what i was talking about. He kept pushing that i get gel in which i already explained that i do not like gel because it chips. I finally agree to get gel and i pick out my color and he comes back to tell me they don’t have it. So i am thinking man, they don’t have anything. So i pick another color and he began my service. He sliced my thumb with the fingernail file so my natural reaction is to pull my hand back. He grabbed my hand like nothing had just happened. He then told me not to move so i don’t get cut. All through the service he grabbed and twisted my hand aggressively until I asked him to TELL me how he needs my hand. Once the service was complete, I looked at my nails to see the entire sides were not painted. I went yesterday, on Sunday. Now here it is Monday and a huge part of my pinky nail has chipped off. I am so pissed. I wish i could show you guys pictures of my fingers.

They charged my friend more than me because they assumed I was younger than her and they charged us extra jus for a pedicure I DO NOT recommend going there.

Tina & her husband are absolutely the best! Customers truly do come first for them. I called to schedule an appointment and even though they were busy and it was already 6:45 p.m. they still made time for me and told me to come in at 7:30 even though they closed at 8p.m. Not only did they stay an hour and a half past closing, but they also still did an amazing job with my nails!! They were very tired after a long days work, but were still so friendly and took their time with me. Their prices are also very affordable, I would highly recommend them! ♡

I came in here on a whim and Im so glad I did! I hate that I didnt get my technicians name, but she was very young and had braces. She was amazing! I got the most basic pedicure, but she made it feel like I was getting one of the more expensive ones. She is an amazing nail technician. I will definitely be back.

I recently came in on a whim based on the previous good reviews and was looking for a basic pedicure. What I got was so much more! From exceptional service to a premium massage chair, it was all taken care of. With the addition to a small chair massage afterwards, the experience was complete. I fully reccomend this salon and hope everyone else is able to have as good an experience as mine.

Needed my toes done and this place was recommended to me by someone on NextDoor. So glad I came and they were able to get me in. Very nice people is clean friendly atmosphere. Ive been getting my nails done professionally since I was 13. Being a military spouse I often have to relocate and finding a good nail salon is a task. I have very wide nail beds; which makes shaping my nails difficult. There is one gentleman there that does my nails perfectly. Ive been to him at least 5 times and I cannot remember his name (shame on me). He sit at the table in the front to the far right. Ive come a few times when he was off and I wasnt pleased. I would recommend him (for acrylics).

Went for a gel manicure and pedi. They have OPI gel polish, which is a plus for me; they dont layer on too much nail polish so that its too thick; they paint the tips of your nails. Havent found a place in the area that did all these things correctly. The massage was wonderful on my arms and legs too. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean. They also didnt have one of those kid sections, like other places - which I personally prefer. I was able to relax and enjoy my time. Prices were typical for the area. Recently moved here and have tried many of the nail salons here and glad I finally found a nail salon that I can rely on and come back to.

Im a mother of 4 and dont pamper myself often. I stopped in this past weekend and requested an appointment with one of the owners, V. Although, he wasnt with a customer, he told me he would be available in 2 hours. I was okay with this and left to pass the time. I returned for my mani/pedi and all seemed to be going well. V was working on my manicure while another gentleman did my pedicure. They were taking their time and I was happy and relaxed. Then an older couple pulled into the lot in an expensive-looking SUV. When they walked in V immediately greeted them and the woman asked how long the wait would be for two pedicures. V told her they could do it right away. At the time there were two available seats, but not next to each other. The man was visibly displeased and stated multiple times, condescendingly, Yeah, we know what that means. As the woman tried to decide her husband suggested they leave, because he was certain they would have to wait 30 minutes. Once they walked out the door, V sent his wife running after them (literally). Everything changed once that couple walked back in. V immediately stopped working on my nails and helped prepare the seat next to me. He told me after my toes were polished I could meet him at one of the tables. The gentleman then polished my toenails in 90 seconds flat, no exaggeration! Within a couple of minutes they had me up and out of that chair so that this VIP couple could have my seat. I was so upset that they would so blatantly show me that they valued this couples business more than my own and were willing to sacrifice the quality of service they provided me to appease their demands. V finished my manicure at the table and I paid and tipped them both, but I did pull V aside and tell him exactly how I felt about what transpired. He didnt deny that was what he did and only said, sorry. I will never return there.

By far my favorite place to get my nails done. Gone everywhere I can think of in Buford and no one compares! Best pedicure ever!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE AT THIS PLACE! My mom and I have been going to this nail salon for years, because we really love Cindy & Don. The owner has always been not so pleasant, but we never paid it any close attention, because we werent seeing him for services. Today was definitely the last straw after he was blatantly rude and disrespectful to my mother. He told her they didnt have time for her, come back tomorrow, while closing the blinds. Then two other walk-ins came in behind her and he took both of them with no appointment. All my mother was asking to get, was her nails soaked off and a regular manicure. She then proceeded to ask him why the other people got to be taken and he ignored her completely. The owner is very rude & nasty, I will not continue being a faithful client somewhere where I know I am not welcome, sorry Don & Cindy!

Visiting from out of State, after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and OMG were they right!!! Great service! Everyone is so nice and so pleasant :) Cant get any more affordable than $30 for CLEAN mani/pedi with generous hand & foot massage, not to mention a quick little neck & shoulder rub while your nails dry... Come on! Its a win! Dont think, just go!

Horrible. Spent 2 hours here for a horrendous job and a nail infection. My nails hurt every day since ive got them done - read on... I came in to get ombré SNS, and needed my prior SNS removed. All he did was file my nails down for nearly 30 minutes, to the point where it was thin and painful. I could tell he didn’t know how to do the ombré because it looked terrible - so I settled with a solid color. Then, he layered the NEW SNS powder on top of the old one I came in with! You’re always supposed to remove SNS first and I pointed this out - both he and the owner said it was “to save time”. My nails were so thick and chunky, he didn’t thin the SNS out after. It was so ugly, I left this salon in tears. A few weeks later I removed the SNS and had a severe painful nail fungus which I’m still treating a month later. I can’t believe this and I’ll never be back.

Horrible job! So sloppy and the man who did my nails was rough and ripped my skin! Only decided to come here because of the high ratings but it turned into a HUGE disappointment! Will be going to get my nails redone and fixed elsewhere.

I wouldnt go back even if the service was free!! I got a full set and pedicure both with gel polish and it came up to $85!!! The only other time Ive been to this salon was to repair a broken nail and the guy who fixed it started asking me about my normal nail salon and telling me that my nail salon charges too much they are cheaper. The price isnt even the issue although that is quite expensive for the service I received. The guy who did my nails cut me several times to the point where I started to bleed. I literally have gashes on the sides of my fingers where Id been cut. He never apologized never tried to wipe the blood he just kept going never acknowledging the fact that he cut my fingers open in 4 different places. The shape is terrible and very lumpy! The polish is everywhere! The sides of the nails are super rough!! The nails are extra thick!!!! The overall quality is disgusting. You would think for the price I paid my nails would be super cute, wrong! They look as if my younger cousin did them. When it was time to pay I asked the guy if I could pay $60 on my card and the rest cash, I asked 3xs and he kept saying yes! I guess yes means no bc he charged the entire amount to my debit card!! The only reason I didnt stay and have them redo my nails is because I had to go to work. When I arrived there was no one in the salon 2 ppl came in after I had been there for 45 mins and theyre services were finished before mine. They were even given complimentary back massages even though we all paid for deluxe pedicures. I was never offered this! I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes in there and walked out dissatisfied.. I will never go back.. once you find a place that works for you stick to it or you may end up with an experience like mine.. ps I have pictures and will post them on Yelp
