I have been a customer at this location for a long time when the location was owned by Kauffman and was concerned about the takeover by Mavis. We recently visited the store for a brake service and oil change and really appreciated the excellent customer service that David provided for us!Our work was completed in the time that was promised and at the price we were quoted.

Mavis Tire in Buford, GA was exceptional. I brought my car in on Sat at noon, but didn’t have a way back home so David was kind enough to reschedule me the first available appointment the next day! I have been coming to Kaufman Tires now Mavis Tires for over 10 years. They have serviced all my vehicles including all of my Mercedes Benzes. In order for them to service my Mercedes Benzes they had to be on point. I always have a great experiences dealing with them. I must say that need some help in the store but my overall experience are always Good.

Bought 4 tires in June 2020. Had an issue with one really noisy tire about a year later so the manager Dennis replaced it at no charge. Great after the sale service!

I called around for price quotes for an oil change and alignment. When I called Mavis I had the pleasure of speaking to Dustin. He was polite and didn’t leave out the deals and discounts. When I arrived Dustin welcomed me and assisted me right away. Dustin asked “are you hanging out with me or am I calling you back?” I thought that was a customer friendly way of asking. I replied I’m hanging with you guys. I handed my keys and before you know it was done. Mavis does great work and Dustin is cool. I recommend this location.

Super service. Price for our tires were less than the quote given. Even better was by the time we got done having lunch the tires were mounted. The service was excellence. We had an appointment and they took us right in. So worth checking them out.

David and his staff were wonderful and went above and beyond. We needed a tire due to a road hazard and were leaving town so needed the tire replaced immediately. It was already 3:30pm so we were asking for alot. The tire we needed was not in the store but in the local warehouse. They went and picked it up, installed it, and we were on our way by 5pm. How wonderful! They have earned our gratitude and future business.

I’ve had a slow leak in my rear driver side tire even after putting air in it. Mavis and their crew had it fixed quickly and I was back on the road in no time. Thanks guys!

Not all tire repair shops have the same customer service and the best prices. As soon as you walk into Mavis Tire shop, you are greeted and asked what assistance you need. I was in need of a new set of tires and to be honest, I didn’t know where to buy them because everywhere I looked, they were really expensive. After a while of searching, I came across Mavis Tires & Brakes in Buford, GA. I located their store number and got in contact with them. I asked to see if they had the tire size I needed for my vehicle in stock, and they said that they didn’t have any. Luckily the worker I was talking to said that they wouldbe able to order me the set of tires I needed.After being able to find the proper sized tires for my vehicle, we began to talk about which type of tires I wanted. There were multiple options to pick from and they each had a different price. They offered me high performance tires, Touring tires, and a couple other options. Once I made the decision on which tires I wanted, the worker began to explain the prices.At first the prices on some of the tires where a little too high for my budget but as he went on explaining the prices, he gave an offer I couldn’t refuse. The employee explained the high-performance tire price and how we could negotiate an affordable price for the tires. He said I could get all four high performance tires for a total of $343.96. That meant I would get each one for $85.99. Once I chose the tires I wanted, I was told when they would arrive at the shop so I can go and pick them up. I was told that they would be in by the next day, but I wasn’t going to be able to make it because I had to work. They were very flexible and said they would be able to hold onto them for me until I had the chance to go in. After that conversation on the phone, I realized that they were so helpful over the phone. Not many other companies have the patience to help customers understand prices and help them find what they are looking for over the phone.The day when I went to go pick them up, I had some doubts because I saw a couple of bad reviews talking about the estimated wait time. I really thought that I was going to be there for a while. When I got there, I was greeted and attended right away. I have been to other tire shops before and let me just tell you that the crew’s effort at other locations was not the same as Mavis’s crew’s effort. They took my car in right away and in all honesty, I waited for about 30 to 45 minutes. There was a good amount of people there waiting as well but the crew was working hard and as fast as they could to provide their excellent service.To conclude my review, if you are looking for tire a shop with affordable prices and a high work effort, I would most defiantly recommend Mavis Tires & Brakes. They are beyond helpful and make you feel confident about your prices and purchases.

We had an sudden lose of air pressure while towing our RV on vacation. I brought in our suv and the staff was very attentive. They were able to diagnose the issue as the RIM and changed it out for the spare.Special thanks to Christina for helping us out. We can now enjoy our remaining vacation without worries.

I have been going here when it was first Kaufman and now Mavis for 5+ years. I have always been impressed with their customer service. Dustin, the manager, does a good job with the team he has there now. I know they are hiring $12-$17 hour so if anyone is looking for a job I would suggest following up with Dustin at this location or any other Mavis store.

Discount Tires are the best choice. Wouldnt take my vehicle back here. I purchased a set of tires by the time I arrived home 1 tire was going flat. I took the tire car back the next day and was told I had to purchase a replacement tire. Although it was clear that I hadnt ran over anything or hit an object. The leak came from the inside wall of the tire. I purchased a new tire A THE DISCOUNT TIRE DOWN THE STREET.

So my day started with my vehicle indicating that 2 of my tires had leaks. It was the day of my daughter’s senior pictures and I was in an extreme hurry to get them fixed. I walked in flustered and was told that my other tires needed changing out as well. Christina, Dustin, Edgar and the entire team new how stressed I was and took my car, changed out all 4 of my tires and got me back on the road in under 45 minutes. They were incredible. I can’t thank you enough for being so kind to me that day. You have gained a life long customer.

Under promise and over delivery, that is what every business should strive for and that is what this Mavis location delivered! I called a couple of locations but everyone was overbooked, got a hold of the manager at this location and he told me though they were overbooked, he would repair my tire by the COB one way or the other. Not only were they done by noon but no charge! I will be back when I need my replacement tires and I appreciate them taking care of my vehicle. Good job team!

My experience at the Buford Mill Mavis was excellent. Something I value greatly in a business is them being honest about their capabilities and obviously performing at their highest level possible. Christina let me know right away that they were very busy on this late Friday afternoon. But my tire situation was urgent and they were going to do everything they could to get my service done. They were flexible with my particular tire selection and didnt pressure me. Once we got that taken care of, they got my car back in 5 mins. Couldnt be happier with the effort and them showing my business mattered to them. They were great.

Went there to have them change my wheels from factory wheels to new wheels. When I get there, they refuse to do the work because my car is a Tesla.I get it, Tesla are different type of car, but how long is that going to be an excuse? More and more are the roads everyday. So will they just cut off that segment of customer or adapt to working with our cars? My guess is the latter... well if thats the case, then why not adapt now? Discount Tire and Goodyear have.

I made an appt for an oil change and to have my front struts looked at, since I thought they were a little wobbly. I arrived 20 minutes early, and they took my car in about 10 minutes after I arrived. They confirmed I did need new front struts and I expected to have to come back, but they were able to get the parts and install them while I waited. A front end alignment and I was on my way in less that 2 hours with an amazing price!! These guys are always fast and very helpful and I have been coming to this store for more than 10 years with many compliments for their service and general attitude.

SUPER HERO STAFF! I had and emergency on the highway, tire went out. Old 1996 Honda Civic DX, they did not have my tire in stock but in less than two hours they acquired one from warehouse and installed it in less than 2 hours!
