No appointment is needed to be seen at Tom and Luigis Tailor Shop. I stopped by on a busy Friday early afternoon (prom and wedding season) but everyone working was friendly and calming. They took a look at a wedding party dress on me and actually recommended fewer alterations than I expected it needed -- saving me money! The expected wait time for alterations is reasonable; the pricing is extremely reasonable. Id definitely go back again.

Tom has been our Taylor for many years, he is a friendly man and an outstanding at his craft! From prom dresses to business clothing broken zipper what ever it is Tom is the man to go to! Needed to take my wedding dress somewhere for alterations, and felt like every tailor in the area was a 50/50 shot based on reviews. Decided on Tom and Luigis and Im very happy with my decision. They had the alterations done in a week and I felt confident leaving my dress there. It was $190 for a 3 layer hem and a 3 point bustle. I dont know how that price compares to others locally but worth the payment for the confidence in the workers and a job well done.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST Tailor Shop in WNY! I visit family usually once a year, and just arrived into town for my sisters wedding. My bridesmaid dress was too tight and the wedding was in less than 24 hrs. I explained to them the emergency and they told me not to worry, that they would take care of me. They had my dress fixed in less than 2 hrs for a crazy good price! They treated me like family and did an Amazing job! If you want great customer service go see Tom!

Brides save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. They had my wedding dress for minor alterations for 8 weeks and two days before my wedding they had done nothing to my dress. When I dropped it off they told me 4 weeks and even scheduled me an apt. When I went for that scheduled apt they had no idea they were even expecting me although it was printed on my receipt. At that time when they had not done a single thing and wastes my time of having to take a half day at work for the apt I should have taken my dress and went elsewhere. We called several times and when we were able to get someone on the phone they were rude and nasty. When I was able to get my dress (230pm on Wednesday when I was getting married on Friday) my dress looked terrible. The bottoms up the back that they were taking in was super uneven, they cut it and left the extra buttons. The sleeves that they were taking in had strings everywhere and the extra lace still inside caused itching all night. They didn’t even hem the dress. They should be ashamed of themselves, the owner didn’t even have the guts to come out and apologize when we went to pick the dress up, he hid in the back. They need to not be so greedy and take every job that walks through the door, and focus on the jobs that they already agreed too.

Tom and luigis is a great shop. The owners are friendly, the shop is clean and during my experience luigi has been easy to work with and very accommodating. Thanks for all the work and I reccomend this tailor very highly.

Courtney the sales associate who helped me get my bridesmaid dress fitted was AMAZING. She was left alone at the front with the phone ringing, customers walking in and out all while trying to get me fitted.... again... alone! Awesome job. She deserves a raise. I was given a weeks time for my dress which I am also pleased about.

Not only does is this place an excellent tailor but they also have high quality suits at a very fair price! When I lived in buffalo I traveled 30min to go see these guys. Now I live 6hrs away and I still wouldn’t bring my business anywhere else. If you want to be treated well, receive excellent service and not be overcharged then definitely go here.

Great place to go! Hes amazing - old school Italian gentleman and tailor.Ive had many items repaired from pants, cashmere sweaters, suits, coats, and other items. Great work ethic out of Tom - and now his son too! Theyre wonderful, always on time.Hes also a world traveler - so he can tell you great stories (make sure you give him time to do that!).BUT - hes not a world traveler off your money - its off his sweat and talent. He charges a VERY fair price. Head another 5-6 miles south to OP and you can pay twice as much for less quality.Keep going Tom!

They remodeled which looks great but someone has to pay for it and the prices went up but still cheaper than most. Still a good trailer. They charge a 2.00 fee to use a bank card.

This place is so hit or miss. Sometimes the work they do is great, sometimes its awful. But one thing you can count on: they will NEVER have your work done on time. No matter how many times you call to remind them, call back to ask about it and show up, they will always be surprised about your order like they had no idea it was there.To make matters worse, their website barely works and they hardly ever answer the phone.I honestly cant understand how this business still exists.

I went here forever and never had an issue. I took my maid of honor dress to get altered....$75 later...hem was taken up, but when I got it....it not only dragged on the floor, but was also uneven. Had the shoulders taken up. It should have been taken in at the sides, but felt like they were in a rush. I ended up taking it to a far more professional taylor who adjusted it perfectly....a waste of $75! I could have done what they did...save yourself the time and go elsewhere. Not sure what has changed....but wont be back

This place is a total joke. Dropped off something in mid-July and was told a two week turnaround. Stopped by a month later and was told the suits would be done in one more week. One month later (after calling to prompt them) the suits were finally tailored. The girl who gave me my suits just said “Really?” When I picked them up and told her about the two month turnaround. Complete joke and avoid this place.

I had a rush job and they handled it very quickly. My jacket looks perfect. Will definitely use them again.

My wedding dress needed minor alterations (hemming, mainly), which took an extra month for them to do. I wasnt too bothered by this, honestly, because I was preoccupied with other tasks and priorities. I just needed the dress a few days before the wedding. When I went to pick up my dress two days before the wedding, it still wasnt done. I returned the following day (the day before my wedding), and again, the dress was not done. In the end, they caused me so much stress and time driving to and from their storefront when I should have been focusing on other matters. The dress was finally finished the night before my wedding, as I personally waited for it to be done. I missed out on my own pre-wedding celebrations because of this incident. Luigi had condescendingly explained that the trouble was that there were just too many jobs to be done because their prices are so low. Welp, just FYI, keep your expectations low if you use their services.

Had two dresses with a low neckline he fixed them for me right away, I was out in 5 mins and he didnt charge me, very sweet man. I figured the least I could do was rave about them, try them their great!

I had previously had a good experience and went here to have a bridesmaids dress altered. It was a disaster. I took the dress in to have the straps and hem shortened and picked it up approximately a week later. I should have tried it on in store, but did not. When I got home, I knew that something was very wrong - it didnt fit, it looked funny on, and generally looked very off. After looking up the item online from where I purchased it from, it was clear that they had sewn the straps together incorrectly. I called and was told to bring it back in. I brought it in as soon as they opened the following morning to be fixed. It was fixed when I came back, but they not only refused to give me a refund for any of the cost of tailoring, but also made light of the fact that there was such an obvious mistake made in the first place. I explained that I had to go out of my way, had to come back an extra two times and that it was very stressful for a gown I needed for a wedding in just a few days. Nevertheless, they were not even apologetic for their blatant mistake and just kept telling me, things like this happen. So, unless you would like things like this to happen to your items, I would not recommend taking anything there.

I needed a last minute suit for a funeral I was going to and they were happy to help me out. Cannot rave about their service or quality enough. So thankful for their help and excellent craftsmanship.

Literally would give this place a -5 stars if I could! Ive never made a review before and Im not a person to do stuff like this but Ive never had such a bad experience in my life! Im getting married on September 6th, I brought my dress here in the beginning of July (as soon as it came in from the dress shop) and from the second I walked in there I had bad experiences. I spoke with the older Italian man on the phone, he set up an appointment and when I came in the lady at the desk claims there was no appointment for me. The younger man took me anyway. I was alone and no one offered to help me put my dress on. Once it was on, the young man told me he didnt understand why the dress shop sold this style dress to me and fought me on everything I said I wanted to get done. It made me so upset and I was about to take the dress somewhere else but I decided I would give them a chance since I was referred to them by the dress shop. They told me they would start alterations and I could come back on August 4th. When I came back they only did part of the alterations they said they were going to do. They began to pin my dress for the rest of the alterations but kept saying they couldnt do certain things. When someone takes something to get alterations, especially a wedding dress you expect the tailor to know exactly what to do and not be unsure of things. They again, made me feel unsure of everything and made me nervous. It was my fault to continue to leave my dress there at this point. I just kept telling myself it will all be fine. They scheduled me to come back August 15th, when I called a few days before I couldnt get ahold of them. The phone kept going to voicemail, busy signal or a strange recording. My fiancé eventually called them, got through and was told I could come in Friday the 16th and to call Thursday to confirm. I called Thursday and had the same issues not being able to get them to answer. I left multiple voicemails. On Friday I called a bunch of times again, still couldnt get through. They finally called me back and said the dress still hadnt been worked on and they would call me back later today to have me come in that day or Saturday. I never got a call back. I called Saturday, and exact same issues, could not get through. When I finally got them to answer, he told me it still hadnt been touched and to call back Tuesday or Wednesday if I dont hear by then. I finally got so fed up that I went to the store on Tuesday and took my dress. I am in disbelief with the complete rudeness, neglect and unprofessionalism that I have dealt with. My wedding is in less than 3 weeks and they havent even started on my dress! I know have my dress at Chaybans and thankfully they are able to get everything done by next week. So much stress has been put on me because of this and I feel its necessary for people to know what kind of business they are. They made me feel horrible about myself in my wedding dress and kept blowing me off. They would give me attitude and always sound annoyed when I spoke with them. Im really not sure how they are in business or how anyone could give them a decent rating. I highly recommend never going there. Worst company ever....

They did a great job on my suit and for (what I thought was a great price). They took a little while to finish it, but everything was done on time and looked great.

This place is horrible. The Hems on my pants have come undone. Ruined the sleeves of my new suit coat. Hemed other pants too short. I am going to sue them in court for damage . I am soooooo disgusted
