Went there for HUD Housing Assistance first meeting. Not a lot of handicapped parking. Staff did lots of extra effort to clean furniture between users. Needed better selection of masks, lots of naked noses. Poor presenter for got to take her antihistamine, she had symptoms like a virus sick person in crisis. A break and the right med fixed that. Very busy at 8 am.

The environment was clean, proper sanitation tools were available, social distancing definitely observed. The reason for the lower rating is due to the assistance and lack of sharing about services and resources. I have been out of work since late February and have visited the center weekly (until the COVID closure) and each visit lasted approximately 2hrs. Without a computer at home I am extremely grateful to have the center however it saddens me that the ONLY thing I know about the facility is that there is a computer lab that I can use. THAT IS NOT OK!!! This is NOT due to lack of inquiring either. The community would greatly benefit if the receptionist was extended additional training on educating visitors as to what is available and how to take advantage of all services and resources. What programs are available, New job search platforms rolled out, how to partner with a job coach. That type of assistance would ensure that a person like myself who has NOT received a dime of unemployment nor income in over 90 days, could re-enter the workforce and once again become a self sufficient, contributing member of this community as quickly as possible. Just my thoughts.....

Very helpful. If you are trying to call about unemployment, THEIR PHONES WORK BETTER. Seriously.

Id rate it higher except for the whole separation between WFS and Unemployment. However, so far Ive found the WFS staff to be willing to answer whatever random questions I seem to ask.

They act all uppity in there, but their bathrooms havent been cleaned in ages. The doors are filthy and so is the computer area. I bet if I took a wipe to the counter top it would be nasty. There are always issues with the printers and rarely do you see them actually helping people...a select few are fine. The majority of the staff needs to readjust their demeanor.

My first walk in was nerve wrecking. By the 3rd time I got to where I needed to be and with the right paperwork done.
