Ronnie is great at her profession. I could not be happier or more satisfied with my haircut and beard trim, line up. I will never trim my beard myself again. Only Ronnie from now on.More than five stars!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Ronnie @ Shumai-Chi. I went there for my first time to get hi-lights in my hair. Ronnie was so knowledgeable, nice, welcoming and made me feel comfortable enough to talk about my skin issues. After my hair appointment she took more time to do a treatment on my face. Who does that?!? Ronnie does. She went above & beyond for me! That is sooooo hard to find these days. Every time I went back my skin improved. She never pushed products on me, just explained what would work best and always let me sample before buying. Unfortunately, I moved out of state...I wish I could’ve brought Ronnie with me! I will miss her for sure! I would recommend her salon to ANYONE, ANYTIME!

My very first time here I was a little nervous and Ronnie made me feel completely at ease! My sister has gone to her for awhile as well as her co worker and they rave about her. I left there feeling great, calm and happy! Her daughter has recently started helping her out as well and she is very sweet and gentle. They are both great ladies and I always enjoy my experience. There is always soothing music playing, and the room is always welcoming. I do not mind the drive because I know I am getting the best of the best! I would def recommend these ladies! You will be hooked after the first time!

I have been going to this salon for the past few months for hair styling and color and each time Rhonne takes the time to listen to what I would like and provide guidance on how to achieve it and we do! I just love it. Body wraps and facials are just what one need to wake up your senses you wont be disappointed and I havent been.

This is the only place I go to get my hair done and full waxing services are the norm. Rhonne and Alicia are both down to earth and very professional. Organic hair coloring and organic hair products are sold to keep up with your style. My hair and skin look and feel so much healthier! I never have to worry about getting some untrained person to wax me. Other spa services are offered too like nails, facials, and massages. Ive been going to Shumai-Chi for years (before they relocated to the current location) for my hair and waxing services and Ive always have been very satisfied with my service. They aim to please. I really dont understand the negative reviews. They literally will bend over backwards to make their customers happy and they are so friendly and positive. Best salon and spa in my book!

Could not have had a better first waxing experience. Ronnie was very accommodating of my short notice (emergency) appointment request and stayed later just for me, who else does that! Very relaxing, clean, professional atmosphere. Booked my next two appointments before leaving, thats how satisfied I was. Highly recommend to anyone, especially fellow bros.

Over the summer I wanted to switch from shaving to waxing so I chose Shumai-Chi based off of reviews online. I went for the Brazilian as my very first wax which was very painful but my second wax was much more comfortable like it’s supposed to. My impression: TOTOALLY WORTH IT. I didn’t grow a single hair for 3 weeks. I didn’t get any bumps and the redness only lasted for 4-6 hours afterwards. Ronnie (the owner) is extremely picky about the products she uses and knows ALL of the ingredients that are in them. She will not put anything toxic on your skin. She also makes you feel very comfortable. I have to drive an hour to get there but it doesn’t bother me whatsoever because of the exceptional service and the results that I have gotten. Unfortunately I had to leave for college which is out of state. And so far I can’t find a place that gets me the same results that Ronnie does :( I was appalled when one place told me to use the rough side of a sponge to get rid of bumps after my wax. And my hair started to grow back after one week...next time I’m home on a break, I’m going back to Ronnie

I am a female in my early thirties, but first came to them in my late twenties, with excessive hair growth everywhere, just one symptom of a condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, where hormones are out of balance. I had waxing done before by numerous different people, but hadnt met anyone who had the expertise and experience that these ladies have. Their knowledge, service, and use of the highest quality products, have allowed me to trust in the waxing experience they provide. This place is a RIP OFF! My daughter went to get her arms waxed and over the phone they said that for this service the price was $35, but when she got it done they charged her $35 for each arm! And it wasnt like she had extremely hairy arms. They shouldve explicitly said that they charged for each arm individually. This is the first time that ive heard of a place that charges for each individual arm. I feel robbed.

I have been a client of Shumai-Chi studios for three years. All I can say is that Ronnie and her daughter, Alicia are totally professional, healing, and very knowledgeable in all that they do. I can truly say that these two women have changed my life in the most positive of ways. They are known for waxing, and I agree that they are the best in town. Personally, I enjoy all the yonka treatements that Shumai-Chi offers. The facials have made my skin look so much more youthful and less wrinkled. Absolutely Awesome is the best description I can use to sum up the wide variety of services that Shumai-Chi offers. Besides the great job they do in waxing and facials, the Forever Foot Massage is at the top of MY list of awesome services. This treatment is so relaxing as well as very healing. Ronnes holistic approach can be observed in everything that she does. The new addition of organic hair color is also a must-have! I have not seen any lady leave there whose hair color and style wasnt just fabulous, including my own. Both Ronne and Alecia are very sweet ladies that you can tell truly care about each and every client........a quality seldom found today.
