Just wanted to say thank you to BRIGHT and TINA in the lumber department yesterday… you were out of 2x6x8s pressure treated and Tina gave exceptional customer service in trying to help… when Bright showed up and offered to cut the 16 footers in half for us… a great conversation ensued and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience because of these two people… again thank you

In store they were awesome. Bought a $3400 lawn mower in store to be delivered. Only to be sitting at home on the supposed delivery date, and having to call to find out the store won’t get the mower in for another 2 weeks. On top of that I won’t get it for another week after that. No emails, no calls, and no texts about a 3 week delay on a $3400 order? Good thing my livelihood didn’t depend on it being delivered when it was supposed to.

John in the paint department was very helpful both times I had to purchase paint. He was knowledgeable with what would be the best for me.

I was attempting to purchase a gas grill and a salesman approached me asking if he could help. I had several questions about the product which he could not answer. Stunningly he than directed me to find a salesman that might be able to assist me. He told me to look for someone in the back of the store. He then turned and walked away. Guess what? So did I. I went to Home Depot and purchased the grill. They were excellent.

There’s never anybody around in the store to ask a question or help find something. Customer Service very good. But people working in department don’t know what they’re saying telling you And I have to go ask somebody else

The staff at this location are generally pretty helpful. They know where to find items and make sure the item meets the needs.

Purchased New Countertops in March 30th 2021 still have no idea when they will be coming. Cabinets came, but no countertops. Something is wrong with communication of countertop installers. Certainly there has been Covid. Just spoke with my local countertop builder in West Bath Me he said he could start making the counter top in 2 weeks and be done in 1 week.They were purchased in Brunswick Me . Kind of thoughtful to have at least a completion date and good communication. Thus One star.

Terrible experience at this location. Was about to drop about $100 on garden merchandise but the employee working was extremely rude. Went to Home Depot and got much better service. Will never return here.

I purchased a refrigerator due to mine breaking down on the hottest day of the summer. Hired two guys to pick it up so I could use it today because I couldn’t get it delivered today. Got it home was the wrong fridge does not fit in my house. I Call the location to explain to them what happened was told the manager would call me back. Never received a call from the manager I really tried calling for more times or four times I was hung up on sometimes they didn’t even say hi to me over the phone they just put me on hold and then hung up. Very poor customer service when this could’ve been handled in a much better way. To treat a paying customer that way over and over again because they don’t want to talk shows me that they don’t want my money any longer. I will not be recommending Lowe’s in Brunswick any longer and I will be taking all of my business as well as my family’s business elsewhere where people might care about their customers and talk to them instead of ignoring them

While the service was very good, the ease of removing 2 24foot extension ladders, from the isle to the register was not. The isles are to close together, and there is not enough space to maneuver it around.

The Lowes in Brunswick today at 11:00 am was a complete customer service nightmare! Myself and arriva several others waited about 25-30 mins in line to check out. Not nearly enough cashiers! Very disappointed!

Bought the cement and rebar at Lowes. Used a cheap plastic kiddie pool for the concrete form. Painted the slab green, and put pea stone around it. This fire pit is ready to burn.

Majority of the time the employees here are helpful. When you run across one with attitude or one acting aggravated that you asked a question, another isnt far that will give you great service. The store is always tidy and clean. I shop here often.

Went to Lowes today. Saw a sale rack with LED light bulbs. Sign said bulbs, $7.95. Rack said, 50% off all items on this rack. I picked up four packs of candelabra bulbs. At check out, they rang up $140. I told them what the sign said and they said they didnt know anything about it. Before I returned everything, I asked for mymilitary discount. Was informed there was no military discount on sale items. Also, no discount on the other items I purchased.And I should continue to shop there why?A few days prior, when I purchased a kitchen appliance, I asked for my discount. It didnt come up. The service desk person asked me if I knew my phone number. Maybe Id forgotten it? Im seventy-seven. I dont need this snotty, condescending attitude. I think Ill buy my new gas range at Home Depot. They may not give me a military discount, but they sure have a better attitude.

This is my first stop when I need home building or repair supplies, they should give me a frequent shopper award or something. During the pandemic it has been amazing to see the volume of materials going out the doors here but the staff works hard to keep things organized and moving. If you ask for help, you will get it and the staff normally walk you to your desired items unless you insist you can find it on your own. My only concern here is that the guys in the lumber section are quite lax in wearing safety glasses and hearing protection when cutting boards to size for me. As a guy who needs hearing aids because of my own stupidity down the years, I hate to see this. The store manager should step in and fix this issue.

Purchased a dishwasher and drove 70 mins home only to find out the door was split across the top. Returned it today and expected that the store would do something (anything) to rectify the situation and recognize the massive inconvenience created by mismanagement of their stock. Nope, zero customer service. Manager essentially washed his hands of the issue. Highly recommend Home Depot, only 12 mins down the road. Dont waste hours of your time figuring out where else this store screwed up.

I place order ship to store for mini split heat pump. I receive an email saying my order is ready. I go to pick it up only one of the four items are ready. The package is destroyed. Only option offered to reorder.Second pick up email comes at 5 pm. I go at 8 am the next day. After waiting a hour in the store. They come tell me they misplaced my order. Its a heat pump. The manager takes my name and number he will call me when located. 2 days go by no call. I call the store manager is not available. I leave two messages no return call. I then received another email saying I only have three days to pick up my order they lost or it will be cancelled. How do you lose a heat pump in the store?

Went in for driveway reflectors to keep a daily vehicle from parking the grass.

Lowes is clean and well organized. Shopped online before I go to make sure its in the store. Only go there because of gift cards I received. HD is closer to home. There are things at Lowes not found at HD. Prices are average for this type of store.

Clean, fully stocked, and friendly staff. Not much to complain about. My only issue with Lowes is not specific to this location, which is the size. You can get lost in these places, or walk for miles trying to track down your specific needs. Theyre massive.

Pretty solid, not much if anything at all to complain about. Will go back for more materials soon.

Bought a burnsomatic torch along with the Warranty plan that was offered. Went to go exchange it because the ignitor stopped working and wasnt able to do so because my request needed to approved by the torch company and Lowes. A month later I was refunded for a BOTTLE OF PROPANE not the torch. I called to have the problem resolved and yet to have the issue resolved a month later.Will no longer be using Lowes.

The Brunswick Lowes has to be one of the worst home improvement stores in the area. I couldnt find what I wanted. I went to so-called customer service and apparently disturbed the clerk. She eventually did make an announcement that a customer needed help on aisle 4. I waited and waited... no one showed up. I finally went to the cashier with what I did have. She asked if I found everything and I said no, and I explained about asking for help. Jer replay was, well, I noticed we are a bit short handed this morning. So, theres my opinion...

Couldnt get no help for the 2nd time in less than 2 weeks.

Employees need to make sure they have the correct info to tell you where to go in the store when looking for a particular item. Asked an employee where something was, was told isle two and not there so I spent another twenty mins looking not only to find it myself but getting frustrated having to do it because not many employees are available to help right now.

Well-stocked if not organized logically-a map would help! They do need more staff but a kind staff saw me wandering perplexed and he helped me find what I needed.

Overall the delays in a outdated POS system with staff that is constantly watching and not engaging with shoppers waiting in slow moving lines all the while staff walk past without even acknowledgement of many waiting customers And while in general the staff seams pleasant and helpful some have also the experience less than desirable and may be effecting overall store profit ability the addition of a self checkout that has been mentioned in the winter months may improve the overall experience here

Its a big box home improvement store. Hit or miss on quality customer service, when you can find an associate.Still, I love tinkering around the the house and they have a good selection of products and options. And the occasional great buy.

Guy working in the lumber section cut a few boards for me. He was late getting to lunch. They were under staffed and some of the stuff was overpriced but still way better than home depot

In past three months they have lost their way. Very poor mask habits. Associates rarely cover their noses. Poor signage on mask use. No enforcement. When ask staff, they are not well educated. The national company started out COVID readiness well, then dropped the ball. There are ALWAYS maskless customers. I dont feel safe at Lowes.

Non-stop intercom alerts made this one of the most horrific shopping experiences of my adult life. Look at this guy, complaining about a few code 50 announcements, youre thinking. Not so. This was a solid hour of back-to-back robot intercom announcements, at a volume that made conversation difficult. Please, Lowes, just give your employees radios or pagers or something.I will say though, the employees were extremely friendly and helpful, and why I raised this 1 star to a 3.

Lowes is a massive hardware store, great for homeowners and handymen alike. The prices are really good on many items. Lowes has a department for everything in your house, from building it from scratch to remodeling it with some high quality tile and carpet, trim and lighting, appliances and vacuums, and they even have a cleaning and Staples isle for paper goods and cleaning stuff.Restrooms are provided, handicap accessible parking is available, self checkout is available, pro membership is available, credit cards are available.Lowes has a specific return policy, make sure to keep your receipt, and understand the policy before purchasing items, if you loose your receipt, you can only get a Merc. Card, which is basically a in store only gift card, which you can only use in a store, with a valid ID, and you cannot buy some items like gift cards with them. Keep the receipt or your money is stuck in the company!Will update to five star when they put in the effort to look up receipts on the computer, and do legitimate returns for legitimate reasons.Otherwise, GREAT company.

We went in to look at some tools. We left with the tools we needed at a price we could afford.

The store is self explanatory

I have been to Lowe’s in Brunswick five times in the last two weeks to try to get a fairly large order shipped to my house. Every time I have gone to the pro desk, nobody has been there. The last time (and I mean LAST) I was in there I went to the service desk and asked for assistance. She looked very confused (like they’ve never delivered lumber before) but directed me right to where I’ve always gone....the pro desk. She also gave me a list of five people to see at said pro desk. Bet you can guess how many were there...so I decided to do a Lowe’s social experiment while waiting to spend my money. I walked through every department, down every single aisle and made myself look like a customer in need of help. EVERY single time I was near an employee I was only greeted with a sigh or an eye roll because I was in the way of their shelf stocking routine. The pleasant ones would just completely ignore me. I checked in at the “pro” desk about seven times during my last hour and a half stay and never even met one of these five imaginary people that are said to work there. While walking out of this sad excuse for a store I decided it would be well worth it to tear up my bank check made out to Lowe’s and hold up my project for another half a week (hell of a lot quicker than dealing with them). Looks like Hammond Lumber will be getting EVERY penny of my $40k home improvement loan. Free delivery anyway there and excellent service. I also saved $300 on shingles which are much better quality and they were dropped off right at my doorstep.Oh, and their Lowe’s/Sherwin Williams Showcase paint is absolute garbage. Read the reviews, I wish I had.

Was very disappointed with customer service overall. Only associate that served us well was cashier. Bought 15 lock sets and was pricing out all new appliances for our house. I now am shopping Home Depot or Agren Appliance comparing prices and service. As a former employee it was sad to see service so lacking.

No one is managing or monitoring the entrances to Lowes in Brunswick. Some customers are walking in without facemasks. Very disappointing.
