Left a message for possible service and nobody returned my call. That was the experience.Update: They replied with a more than reasonable response for why they couldnt return my call. No harm no foul. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Our pickup truck has issues with starting after the vehicle is in operation for a period of time. We contacted this company to see if they could repair it. They charge a $100 diagnostic fee. Although this is high, we agreed to pay it. They advised they would come to our residence at 0800 hours. They never showed up. When we texted them to see if they were coming, they replied, “no.” They did not give a reason and were extremely rude. When we told them we were willing to pay their fee, waited past the agreed time, and were going to give them a bad review, Mr. Johnson called and threatened us. This is unbelievable and not reasonable behavior for a mobile mechanic. We would never refer this company to anyone in need of this type of service.

Had my water pump go out while driving home to Illinois from Florida and they got a new pump and thermostat in within a couple hours. Was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get back on the road until the next say since it was a Sunday, but they were able to help us get back on the road way quicker than expected! Definitely call these guys before ANYONE else.

My family and I were on Jekyll Island this weekend for a wedding. We drove from metro Atlanta and barely made it to the hotel after our a/c compressor failed causing the serpentine belt to break. After calling Johnson Mobile Auto Repair, they found a bypass pulley in Jacksonville, Fl. They drove to Jacksonville on Saturday to pick up the part and George installed the bypass pulley and serpentine belt in about 2.5hrs. All the while being friendly, courteous andprofessional. We were able to drive back to metro Atlanta today with no issues. I am very pleased with the service from Johnson Mobile Auto Repair.If you are ever in need of mobile auto repair in the area, please give them a call! We are very satisfied and wish them well.

Absolutely fantastic experience! They were able to come to my home, figure out what was wrong and have it fixed within 3 hours of originally calling them with the issue. Super nice couple and greatly appreciated their willingness to explain certain things and had great communication.

Oil pressure sensor unit went out on or Chevy truck. We tried to replace it our self and in the process broke a wire. When we called we were give an ETA on arrival and the price. Both were accurate and service was great. Its a husband and wife team and they work well together. Spreading their info to all I know who run up and down interstate 95. The BEST! On our way back to PA, our boat trailer broke down on I95 outside of Brunswick, GA late Saturday afternoon. Boat US would not recommend a repair shop but required that we tell the towing company where to tow it, so we called around to find a repair shop. Many were closed till Tuesday because of the holiday, but Rachel at Johnsons Mobile Repair answered her phone. As soon as we spoke to her we felt better. They told us where to have the boat towed and when they could meet us there. Rachel and George were on time, friendly, professional, fun! They assessed the problem, went out to buy needed parts, and did a great repair. We are so lucky we found them. I dont know how far they travel, but if you break down anywhere near that part of Georgia, call Rachel and George.

100% recommend! I had an issue with my new battery/connection while visiting family and Johnson’s answered, drove more than an hour to reach me, and had me on the road in under 2 hours total. The price was beyond reasonable but the customer service was amazing!

I cannot say enough good things about Johnson’s Mobile Repair. My two dogs and I were broken down on the side of I-95 after my oil filter had leaked. From the first point of contact they were so helpful and reassuring to me. They were able to get to me in a timely manner and the repairs took only about 1.5 hours. Rachel even offered my dogs water! I’ve never felt more at ease about a mechanical experience than I did with Johnson’s Mobile Repair!

Just bought my dream vehicle (69 VW Bus). Drove from Asheville, NC to visit my mother and show off my baby and as I got off the exit, the gear stick started flopping around. I limped it to my hotel room and started looking for someone that could fix this on a Saturday. The Johnsons came out at 830a Saturday morning figured out the issue and went and got the part and had me on the road by noon!! The price was WAY less than I thought it would be too!! Nice people, great mechanic, quick and efficient!!

I am so thankful to George and Rachel for the service that they provide. My son attended college in Brunswick and for four years they have rescued him multiple times. He has an older truck that has random things wrong with it and parts that go out at the worst time. They have repaired his truck at his work , at his home , and even helped him get his boat trailer back on the road at all hours. They even helped him and got us to the right people when my son lost his truck keys! I feel much safer knowing that they are in Glynn County. We live near Atlanta and wish there were a Johnson’s Mobile Repair here.

Thanks to Johnsons Mobile Repair, our family weekend getaway continued as planned. Last Thursday, the day after getting our car serviced by a local Ford Dealer in St. Augustine, Florida - near our home - for an unrelated issue, we left home for a trip to Charlotte, N.C.About an 1 1/2 hours after departing our home, I pulled into the Flying J in Brunswick, GA. (Exit 29 off I-95) for a fill-up. Just as I was about to get into my car to get back on the road, the motorist in front of me pointed under my car and said, Hey, it looks like you have a major leak. Sure enough, all of my transmission fluid was gushing out of my car. UGH !!!My wife had the brilliant idea of seeing if we could Google mobile car repair and see if someone could help us out. Thanks to the smartphone and our connection to the internet, we found Johnsons Mobile Repair Service. We called them and a nice lady named Rachel answered the call. We discussed the cars issue and she said she could be to us within 45 minutes to start diagnosing the problem.Within 45 minutes as promised, a small SUV pulls in behind me at the Flying J. I was about to tell the lady getting out of the SUV to be careful not to step in the transmission fluid our car had dumped out, when she asked if I was Ted. Noticing the voice, I had just spoken to, I realized it was Rachel. However, I thought she might just be a dispatcher for her company and some big burly mechanic would be showing up to help us. Instead this little petite lady, who had just gotten out of the SUV, must have read the look on my face and said, Dont worry, I am a trained mechanic, I worked as a Service Manager for a Ford dealership for over 10 years, I know these cars inside and out - I will find your issue. Wow, I was blown away. Didnt expect that. But hey, I learned long ago never under-estimate the power of a woman...theyre definitely stronger and smarter than any man. Within minutes, Rachel got to work. She jacked up the car, got underneath and started poking around to find the root cause of our issue. She soon noticed that the hose leading to the transmission radiator was not connected. Apparently, we came to realize - and later confirm with the dealership - the technician had forgotten to reconnect the day prior when servicing our vehicle.So Rachel was able to diagnose and fix the issue within a few minutes. However, as mentioned our vehicle dumped out about 10 quarts/2 1/2 gallons of transmission fluid. Unfortunately, despite being at a Flying J, they did not have the type of transmission fluid my car required nor the amount required. That said, Rachel decided to head off to the local Wal-Mart, who she stated would be the cheapest, to find what was required. Unfortunately, Wal-Mart was out as were a few other local auto parts stores. However, Rachel knowing full well that we were stuck, drove all around Brunswick, Georgia until she found the correct type and quantity of fluid required by our vehicle. That type of persistance was greatly appreciated.We were so blessed finding Rachel and Johnsons Mobile Repair.If youre ever in the vicinity of Brunswick, Georgia and find your vehicle broken down, please do not hesitate to call Johnsons Mobile Repair. You wont find more decent, honest and caring people in the car repair business. If I could give them 10 stars instead of 5, I sincerely would.

Outstanding service. We were stranded with a bad starter. They went out of their way to pick up a starter (on Sunday) an hour and a half away to get us on our way to our destination. Very accommodating and personable. Would HIGHLY recommend them, and would DEFINITELY call them again with any issues.

My Chevy traverse was over heating and leaking...I called Johnsons Mobile Repair, they answered on the first ring and were super friendly. After I explained the problem, they were finishing up a previous job and came right to my house. George pretty much knew before even finding the leak what the problem was. Our car broke down 400+ miles from our destination, in the middle of the day with 98F temperature and two dogs and a toddler in tow. A lot of parking lot waiting and sweating. He managed to get all the parts needed from multiple locations (a bit of a wait) but considering it was a Sunday we can’t complaint. The work was done and we are happy to get back on the road.

My girlfriend and her daughter and niece were on the way to massachusetts from florida. They stopped to get gas and when they tried to start the car it would not start. I drove up to meet them and they came right out and replaced the starter. They were quick and stayed with the price the gave over the phone. I even tipped the an additional $20. Saved our behinds big time. We busted a radiator hose right off the interstate. No road services could help, only offer tows for whatever nonsense reason.They worked over the phone to determine the right part and met us in under an hour. Repaired us above and beyond what we needed. The service was incredibly friendly, the prices was as fair as it gets and the mechanic was exceptionally skilled. Ontop of all this it was 6pm at night. My sister, Cathy Martin, is so impressed with the work carried out by Johnson Mobile Repairs that she wants to ship her car to them for any possible future work needed on her Mercedes. The belt of the Mercedes broke while she was driving south on the I95, the belt controls everything from the power steering to A/C. Johnson Mobile Repairs came very quickly and assessed the damage. In no time at all they put in an order for new belt which arrived promptly. They worked until all problems were fixed. Their pricing is fair and worth every penny for such a good service.

George and Rachel are awesome people! George did a great job working on the axle and wheel bearings for our odd sized trailer. He had to cut a larger one and weld it together plus do the repairs. The price was very reasonable too!

Contacted them by phone and described the issue. Was informed that a prompt return call after discussing with husband would happen. No call back occurred. Return call made following morning with no answer so I left a message providing vehicle information and requested a return call. I am still waiting for the call but have taken my vehicle to an alternate location who answers the phone and returns calls. I guess I should have said I was broke down on the road and maybe they would have been interested in providing a service.Ok, now I have called back to discuss it, providing a screenshot of the calls made on the 15 and the 16. You asked me to call you and I did. And you respond by hanging up on me. Thats smartI would have considered editing this but I can see you clearly dont care about your reputation and I also hope people steer clear of you.

We were driving through in our motorhome late one Saturday night, headed from Florida to North Carolina for a family funeral, when the power steering went out. It was close to midnight, and I called another 24-hour repair guy in the area who said hed be out the next morning at 9:30 to help me. By 11:00 Sunday morning, I gave up and called Johnsons. I should have called them first. They were on another job and couldnt get to me for a few hours, but they kept in touch throughout the afternoon as to their progress, and when they got there, they took real good care of us! Friendly, fair, and very reasonably priced (especially on a weekend), and by dinner time, they had us back on the road so that we could make it to the funeral on time Monday morning. I cant recommend them highly enough!! Thank you, George and Rachel for being so wonderful!

Omg these people are angels.. We hit something in the road and started to lose oil.. We made it to a gas station and we didnt know what to do. I found their website in Google and called them. Within an hour they were there and said whatever we hit out a huge hole in the oil pan. Not only did they fix our car found the part to fix it they stayed with us for 3 hrs waiting for the tow truck. Then took us to a motel.. Rachel and George are wonderful. Honest fast and super friendly I highly recommend them if you ever find youself in need of a mechanic . During a cross country trip, we were stopped in Brunswick for the night on a Sunday and needed a mechanic. After a brief inspection, a Walmart employee had informed me that I might have a front gasket seal leak. Travel plans being interrupted, I called Johnsons Mobile Repair and prepared for an expensive replacement on my vehicle. Rachel said they could be to our hotel in an hour, and check it out. After George inspected it, he informed me that the oil was coming from the filter which had been punctured by the prior mechanic who installed it, with an oil wrench, no less! He went to the store and got a new filter and oil and had it fixed within 1/2 hour for a better price than most shops would charge. The integrity and honesty of this couple is astounding and I was happy to pay them a little more than they asked. Highly recommended!
