For once I finally had something done right and on the first try! I called and got an appointment super quick, when I came in and dropped my car off Ryan was very polite and helped me with some of my concerns. He even called me and provided me with an update on my car and when they started working on it which was AMAZING to me because other places I’ve been to kept me in the dark and waiting all day, it was done on time when he said it was going to be and fixed on the first try. I highly recommend going here if you want things done right and fixed on the first try. Thank you so much Ryan for all the help!!!

For anyone who doesn’t know much about cars, DO NOT take your car here. This is chain and they clearly try to take advantage of people they think don’t know what they are doing.I brought my car in because the oil pressure light came on once and then disappeared but I thought I should get it checked. Otherwise my car was running absolutely fine. When I get a call about the issues with my car I was told my engine light was on and my car was sputtering. Weird since none of that was happening before I brought it in. The quote for everything to get fixed was over $1500. I chose to just have them replace the oil pressure sending unit, and skip the other items because they seemed unnecessary. When I went to pick up my car the engine light was on and it was now sputtering. Took it home, plugged it into the car computer and the error code said that spark plug 2 was faulty. When I took off the engine cover, surprise surprise, the number two coil was marked with and X. Mind you they told me on the estimate that they needed to replace all of them. So I took it back and told them to look again or I will be getting my money back and taking my car elsewhere. They looked at it again and brought out that engine coil WITH the X on it and said they replaced that one with the “test” one they had. This place does send you pictures of the parts from your car and oddly the picture the sent me of the coil doesn’t have and X on it. They didn’t charge me for that service so I will give them that, however I fully believe they put in a faulty coil to make me think I needed to replace it. It is absolutely criminal what these people are doing to customers.I am taking my car into another shop next week just to make sure they actually did what they said they did. If it turns out they didn’t, I will be filing a police report.

Great mechanic. I was directed here when my regular mechanic closed. They haven’t failed to treat me fairly and fix things right. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I had an awesome experience at Rocky Mountain Tire and Auto. I needed my ignition cylinder replaced and another auto shop quoted me $825 for it. I decided to call around and saw great reviews here. Rocky Mountain Tire and Auto gave me a quote $300 less than the other place and got it done super quick! Will definitely be coming back for future repairs! I would not recommend this shop to anyone. After hearing only good things about them, I thought I would try them out after my car wouldnt start one morning. They charged me $100 for a diagnostics fee, which is worth an hours worth of labor, to look at my car and to diagnose the problem, which seemed fair at the time. Especially since my car is an older car, and does have a lot of things that need work on it, that is good info to know.After picking my car up from the shop, I went home satisfied that it was working again, since they replaced my starter. However, within two weeks of getting my car back, I had two other problems that they did not even mention when they looked at my car.The first one was that, less than a week after picking up my car, my muffler and my exhaust pipe fell from my car and were dragging on the ground when I tried to drive it. I called them to try to remedy the situation, and they did offer. But only after interrogating me about what big bumps I had driven over, in Broomfield of all places, and even after answering all their questions, they still felt that they did the best job they could have, even if it wasnt as detailed as I would have liked. Fine, whatever. I was upset about paying $100, only to have more problems with my car, but I did not take them up on their offer to remedy the situation, because it felt like I was being interrogated, and decided to take my business elsewhere.So I go through another place to get the muffler stuff done. They gave me a good price, provided great customer service, etc. They didnt touch anything to do with my engine. And my check engine light comes back on within a few days. Took it to autozone to have them check the problem on their plug-in engine monitor, and it says my car needs new spark plugs, and coils. Again, Rocky Mountain Tire and Auto never mentioned this, after I paid them $100 to thoroughly check my car for problems. And if I pay $100 for an hours worth of labor, I expect that youll be extremely detailed, not just use a plug-in monitor, like I had done for free at AutoZone.Anyway, all that to say, I would not recommend going here. Especially if you do have an older car, because I doubt theyll check very thoroughly.In regards to the reply they left: No, they did not tell me that my exhaust pipe and muffler were about to start dragging on the ground. Only that I had a small hole in my muffler. And that it could be fixed down the road, but this was definitely an immediate problem. Not a good look, guys.Picture is of my muffler, not even five days after I took it to their shop. They said small hole, I think there was a little more wrong with it than that. They didnt see how crumpled that pipe is??

The place was sparkly clean like a showroom and the entire energy of the place was so welcoming. They performed the service at a very fair price and even replaced some bulbs complimentary, which really surprised me. It is very obvious they care about their customers. Woke up at 6:30am today and found a screw in my passenger rear tire before heading out to work. I had enough air left to make it over to Rocky Mountain Tire and got there at 7:15 and was very pleasantly surprised that they were open early (even though theyre supposed to be open at 7:30am). They were super friendly and let me know that the techs didnt get in until 8am, but they would be able to look at it shortly after. They have a very nice lounge area with coffee, tea, WiFi, sodas, waters, etc. They even had a desk area for me to work at with a nice office chair! By 8:20, they were all done with the work and even informed me that I had a screw in both of my rear tires and were able to successfully repair both free of charge! They topped off all four tires and clearly took the time to do a thorough inspection before sending me on my way. I was even able to make my 9am meeting in Boulder which I had anticipated canceling. Amazing treatment, epsecially for a first time customer -- I will definitely be back for future tire needs!

THEY ARE CROOKS. Went here for almost 2 years and it never felt right.They just wanted to charge me 4k to fix my 2005 vehicle? I took the quote down the street to get a full inspection and they couldnt find half the problems Rocky Mountain tire & Auto quoted me for. I am disgusted all the money I gave this crooked business. Be smart and dont waste a dime going here because they will take advantage of you until you do your do diligence.

They offered shuttle service which I found to be very convenient especially being that I had just walked in without an appointment. To my surprise, the owner was my driver for the shuttle. He asked me about the issues with my vehicle and was very genuine in his approach.Having not had an appointment they mentioned they might not be able to get to my issue that day which I expected. To my surprise, I received a call the same day and they had found the issue. They explained the issue, the time it would take and the cost. As promised they delivered on time and on cost.They will definitely get my business moving forward. Very customer friendly and affordable.Great staff and great work.

Just moved to Colorado in November and needed a reliable place for an oil change/tire rotation. I looked online and this place had great reviews so I gave it a try and I was not disappointed.My last oil change (elsewhere) was a nightmare. Took 3 hours, saw the guys studying my owners manual and they over all had no clue what they were doing, I and spent over $55 for it. I brought my 14 Honda CRV in at Rocky Mountain tire & Auto at 1:15, and was paid/walking out the door at 2:00. It was $52 and that included a full safety check (brakes, tire pressure, etc) and all oil levels. The guy at the desk informed me that my air filter was getting dirty, but that it wasnt an immediate necessity and would be looked at/changed at my next oil change.This place was awesome, they get you in and get down to business and dont seem like they will try to rip you off. Trust all the other positive reviews on here, this is the place to go!(PS they had donuts in the waiting room. Which I thought was pretty fantastic.)

Since my first visit to this shop 5 years ago I wont take my vehicles anywhere else for service or tires. They do a great job, they stand behind their work, they dont prescribe repairs you dont need, and their pricing is competitive. Theyve gone the extra mile for me on more than a few occasions, and I have complete faith in their recommendations and their work. I drive hundreds of miles from home every week, and its hard to put a price on the peace of mind.

This group is extraordinary. Honest and very skilled. They find the issue right away, which is a rarity these days, and repair only what is needed (also a rarity). They do not stack repairs just to make more money. I will not use anyone else for my repairs on any of my vehicles.

Took my truck in the morning I had a flat without an appointment. They were able to fit me in to get my tire fixed. Within an hour the tire was fixed and also put the tire back on my truck and put the spare back underneath my truck bed. All this at NO COST. Talk about amazing customer service. I live in Denver but I will go out of my way to go back to Rocky Mountain Tire and Auto for any other repairs

I drive a 2012 Mini Cooper Countrymen so, needless to say, my car is always in the shop (but thats a whole different review). Im very particular as to which shop I take it to so when my go to shop told me they couldnt get my car in until mid December, I panicked. Not that tiny panic feeling you get when you lose your phone in one of your pockets. Like, my throat fell straight into my large intestine kind of panic. My car was leaking coolant all over the place so I knew I couldnt wait more than a day let alone a month! I called Rocky Mountain Tire and Auto and the owner, Oliver, told me to bring it in right away. I left it there with them for the day and they were kind enough to give me a loaner. I was kept up to speed on what my car needed and how long it was going to take to fix it. Everything was run by me before they started anything which was really encouraging and put my mind at peace. Car problems are TERRIBLE! Its even worse when you hand it over to someone you dont trust or is going to rack up prices on you. Luckily, I didnt run into that. The owner is the nicest guy Ive ever met and his crew works really hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. The lobby was really clean and there was free coffee (bonus!) to sip on while you wait. It was just an awesome experience all around. I highly recommend this shop for your auto needs. ESPECIALLY if you have a Mini Cooper that is a total money suck.

All I have is good things to say about Rocky Mountain Tire & Auto. The first time I went to them I was having problems with my alternator, and couldnt even drive my truck to the shop. They sent out a tow truck, picked up my truck, and had it done in a couple hours. After loving their service the first time, I went back for an oil change, and received the exact same quality of service again. Im currently sitting in their location right now while I get my oil changed again. Needless to say I wont be going anywhere else for a while. I drive from Denver because the service is so good. Good people, great service, and low prices. Give them a shot, and youll never go anywhere else.

I usually take my car here because they are always honest and have fair prices. However, recently someone working there tried to charge me over 250.00 to tell me that my battery was dead and replace it. I think thats way too much even for the cost of the battery. Other than that they always have really good service and I never leave with more issues.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. he drastically over charges for everything. example wanted 1700 for exhaust work. dealer price was 1072. exhaust shops in town 260-305. now tell me whats wrong with this?! also beware of the extra parts he says is needed to complete repairs as I have noticed he is charging for items included with parts. I have been in the automotive industry for 21 years and my friend with little automotive knowledge was taken advantage of.

Rocky Mountain has exceeded my expectations from my first visit (over 4 years ago). Not only do i trust the staff 100%, but they are so unbelievably friendly, it makes any maintenance visit no big deal (even when I have my 2 and 5 year old along with me!!) Their lobby is a clean and welcoming environment, so I never think twice about hanging out waiting for my oil to be changed, (which just makes life just a bit easier). If you live in the Broomfield area, this should absolutely be your 1st choice for auto maintenance, service and tires.

Definitely a great shop, honest, reasonable, and fair. Ive taken my VW Touareg to a number of places since moving to the area (trying to find a good mechanic), and Rocky Mountain Tire & Auto have been top of the list by far, beating out any of the euro specialty shops. Ive taken my car there now about 5 separate times, and have always had a good experience. When you go to a mechanic you dont often get the response youre hoping for, but I trust whatever advice and recommendations they give me.

THIS PLACE IS RESTORING FAITH IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!Had a nail in my tire, its an AWD Subura (usually means when 1 tire goes the rest go). I called and they were friendly despite being busy. I got exquisite attention the moment i arrived. They took the impacted tire, gave it a real patch (not just a cheap one - ask about stints vs. cover up) - then changed the tire and repacked my spare.They didnt charge me b/c they dont charge for quick repairs - they just earned a customer for as long as im here. Its so refreshing to get quality customer service with enthusiasm. I felt bad it was free!Thank you Rocky Mountain Tire and Auto.

I was having problems with my air-conditioner and with only a few days untill I was headed to Texas, I was desperate to have my car looked at. I called on my only day off and they got me in right away and they even lent me a car so I didnt have to wait there. Im pretty sure it was one of there employes car! The staff was amazing and I couldnt of been happier. They kept my car for about half the day and in the end, it was just that my husband had over filled the air-conditioner with coolient or whatever he put in it. They checked for leaks and made sure I would be ok to take it on our trip. If I could give them ten stars I would. Thank you:)

I couldnt believe that I requested an early morning appt for a Monday (my brakes went wonky over the weekend) and on Monday morning I got a call saying to come right in. They didnt find extra problems like some places do and went above and beyond our expectations taking care of our familys special situation vehicle. We will bring our vehicle there again if needed.
