I just moved to the area and didnt have a mechanic to turn to when my cars transmission started acting up. I took my vehicle into Broomfield Auto Service and am happy with that decision.Troy and crew took care of my vehicle issues quickly, worked well with my cars warranty, and kept me informed of their progress. I’m very busy and just didn’t have the time to do a job I generally perform myself. Therefore, I decided to use a local repair shop rather than a National chain.Days after I’d already had the brake issue repaired and paid for, I realized the parts cost seemed high. I looked at the receipt and matched the part numbers to Napa’s website and sure enough, they overcharged me...almost double.I’d encourage people to have your work done elsewhere, or at least take the time to read the invoice and confirm the actual parts costs. Shame on them for overcharging, Shame on me for not paying attention. Long story short, they lost a customer.Two stars, only because they were close and had the work done within hours.

Just got my wife a Jeep so she can play in the mountains with our kids. It was very used and we knew it, which was why we had both differentials rebuilt, put new tires on it and immediately took it to have the steering and suspension parts inspected as well as an alignment done. After a full day, (Jeep alignments normally take less than an hour with stock suspension for those who may not know) and from what I can see not a single nut or bolt was touched by a tool. Nothing was lubricated and no adjustments were made. They stated It was pretty close when she was finally able to pick it up but to not have to make any adjustments? None whatsoever? Really? Im not saying its because she was a woman... but Im also not going to say it wasnt.When I returned to get a total refund, it truly saddens me on how many vehicles were there to get worked on. I think this may be one of their biggest issues. They are too busy to do a good job anymore. To be honest, due to his Apology of Well I guess we just cant please you! (No joke. That as all I got), Im leaning towards them just not giving a damn.If you have work done here. Double check that they actually did what they said. If they tell you they replaced parts, make them show you the parts they took off. If they cant, dont pay for it. NO PARTS, NO PAY!I get that mistakes can be made but this was not only negligent but since they didnt even touch a single component of her suspension or steering, its criminal. Thanks for putting my wife and children in undue danger.

I had broke down near by, my car just quit on me while on the highway. They were extremely professional after my car was towed to their shop they only took 20 mins to figure out it was having a fuel problem, they took the time to find out what part was causing the problem as well as checking the car for any other problems. They fixed all the problems I had in a reasonable Time period and for a decent price. They were extremely helpful and professional I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone who needs repairs. They did not do a proper alignment and left all joints completely dry, with no lubrication whatsoever. They left bolts in a position that bangs on other exposed parts every time I go over even a small bump. Very disappointed, however we did request a refund which they agreed to. I did not allow them to redo the alignment because I dont trust them to do a proper job. I will not be using their services in the future. I highly suggest checking their working thoroughly because they dont do what they claim to fix. Ill be getting another alignment elsewhere.

I am impressed with this company - Finding an auto repair service that is good quality, value, and that you can trust is one of the most difficult finds - I am in actual awe of how quickly they followed up on my request, that they were so incredibly nice throughout the entire process, picked up and dropped off my vehicle at no extra charge and with disinfecting guidelines to keep both of us safe, and especially that the issue with my car was identified within about an hour of them picking it up, fixed, and sent back home to me! Great experience.

This is one of the only reviews I’ve ever made on anyone. I was referred to them by a friend. I had them replace the struts in my 4runner and specifically asked what kind they were using. The man at the desk couldn’t tell me, but assured me they would be quality parts. I was charged $170 per strut. After looking up the parts number, I realized they installed cheap $70 struts from amazon. I could have lifted my 4runner for what they charged.After they did the alignment, I noticed the boot on my steering rack was all twisted. Total ripoff, and I’ll never go there again. If I could give no stars I would.

I had them fix my right axle seal, only to find out it was still leaking months later. I took it back to them so that they could re-do it for free, which they obliged to. They had my car for about 6 days which was longer than I expected (I did tell them not to rush, though), and their communication lacked towards the end. They never told me it was ready for pickup, so I called them right before closing and they said if I could be there in 5 minutes then I can get it. Thankfully, it was only a 5 minute drive, but I wasn’t too fond of the rush. After a few weeks, I haven’t had any more problems with leaking, so they have exceptional service! I would probably come here again, but I would call them more often next time.

Broomfield Auto is simply the BEST in town for your auto service or sales needs. They go above and beyond, and are kind and patient with customers. We have used them for years. Most recently they spent several hours taking apart the seats, carpet and center console of my Toyota RAV to find my wedding ring when I dropped it in the opening beneath the emergency brake. Im grateful to Broomfield Auto for keeping my marriage intact and finding that ring!

I never felt pressured but got a sense of how sincere, honest and caring the dealership was about a potential customer. Something I have rarely ever found in a auto shop.I was unable to purchase the vehicle before someone else but was kept updated to what was happening, as to not waste my time coming in and finding it had sold.My car had needed a steering rack replaced and I had kept in contact with Jeff, over the issue, over several days. I work nights and he took the time after hours to quickly respond to my emails, which I appreciated so much!Once I brought my car in, the service was quick and straightforward. The price was fair and just what was quoted. Jeff gave an honest, trustworthy opinion about another issue with my car, that another dealership had made me feel questionable about.Days afterwards, I receive a missed phone call, voicemail and text. This is the only place Ive ever trusted completely. So much so that my sister who wouldnt take her car anywhere but a dealer started going, and continues, since 2010. And they now sell a small amount but completely checked and Im sure great used vehicles. Cut out the middle man of having them just check out the used car you want, and just buy one of theirs!

I had a really good experience with these guys. They totally had the chance and reason to charge me a lot of money, and instead I got a great deal (compared to 90% of the other auto garages.) 10/10 will only be bringing my car here for service.

Had this place do a alignment, tire balance and rotation. The only thing they succeeded in doing was the balancing. Tires weren’t rotated and the alignment was messed with but certainly wasn’t right. I was also told my steering box needed replaced when it just needed adjusted. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone if they’re gonna lie to your face about what they did and what your vehicle truly needs.0/5 stars.

The guys here are honest, fair, and do great work. They are always able to squeeze me in when my schedule is tight. I once had an emergency with a belt and they fixed it within an hour of me pulling in.

Its true, the staff are a bit mute and yes, you get the silent treatment BUT it was fast, easy and painless. They got it all done and in record time. Prices were a bit high but for getting so much done in such little time, these guys know what theyre doing!

I searched everywhere for a place that would sell me just 1 tire unmounted for my suburban. Didnt think it would be a difficult task but I was wrong. Broomfield auto service came to my rescue and had my tire delivered same day! The service was great and the staff were extremely nice.

I wouldnt take any of my vehicles here again.Brought my truck in around 7:45. Asked for them to balance the tires and CHECK THE ALIGNMENT because of the way the truck was pulling on crowned and rutted roads. I didnt ask them to DO the alignment, I asked them to diagnose a problem.At about 3:15pm I have to pick up the phone to call and ask whats going on since its about time for me to get off work. Guy tells me that they did the alignment and that it was way off, but provided no details as to how. After driving the vehicle, the problem still exists. It still pulls how it did before the alignment. They did not fix the problem or diagnose it. I can tell they did something because I feel a change in the turn-in, as if they adjusted the toe. The $69.99 charge for the alignment is in line with other shops. I took the vehicle to another shop today, and they redid the alignment, because it was a tad out of spec. They also gave me a before and after sheet. They pointed out that a strut was blown, and thats part of where the problems are coming from, and that the tires may be contributing to that.They definitely balanced the tires, and that fixed my 60-70mph wheel shake, but they charged $40 for the alignment, $14 for wheel weights, and something like $2.48 for shop supplies. Call up Discount Tire and ask them what they charge, and its a flat $40 fee. Big-O will do it for $36. Im such an idiot. Should have just taken it to them. So, these guys marked up a wheel balance job by 41%. Additionally, they then tell me that I need new tires, which is true, but not at any point did they say You should rotate those, too, since the front tires have more tread than the back, and need to be moved to the back wheels. Any competent mechanic would notice this and recommend it while doing a balance.The other strange thing is the IDGAF attitude of Jeff. The guy seems to have the personality of a door handle. Im not much of a morning person, so I get it when others arent, but when I mentioned this to a co-worker who takes his vehicle here occasionally, he said he will only deal with Troy because Jeff is just, well... a door handle.

I have been a customer at Broomfield Auto for over 5 years and have had nothing but excellent service. I have been there for everything from oil changes to major repairs. They are always courteous and honest and do great work that they back up for fair prices. Two thumbs up!

I will always come here! Prices are good and they wont try to swindle you into more than you need. I took my car here after it was making a strange noise and when they couldnt figure out the problem when the car wouldnt make that noise again, they didnt even charge me! I basically wasted their time and they didnt even charge me a diagnostic fee. Also, went to get the timing belt replaced and some water pump usually gets replaced with it but they said mine looks fine and that they didnt really need to. Saved me a couple hundred dollars. I love these guys.

Very good mechanics that have diagnosed dozens of problems for me. They get issues resolved same day for a fair price and look do a ways to save money doing the repair. I have never had a problem recur after they fixed it. This is a very honest shop.

Their work was okay but I had to come back again because they didnt fasten things properly and something in my car was rattling. They werent very friendly and made me feel a little foolish asking questions about my car work. Slightly condescending. Ive gone elsewhere for future car needs.

Broomfield Auto is the best shop Ive found in Colorado, and Ive tried a few. Jeff and Tony are honest, they dont try to upsell me on things I dont need, and they look out for me and the car. Before coming to them, I had pumped hundreds of dollars into my old car for an oil leak couldnt seem to be fixed. They took a look and told me it wasnt worth fixing; the leak was in a pan that would take a ton of time and labor to get to, and the car was close to its last legs anyway. Theyre real people and they treat me like a real person, which is something you dont find every day. We moved to Cherry Creek a year ago, but I still go to Broomfield Auto for maintenance because a good, honest mechanic is worth the commute.

That is far more valuable than scamming a customer for a few extra dollars.Every time I see them I tell them: I hope its for the last time ;) But every time I have car issues, Im glad its them looking at it, and not another shop.

I did not experience the friendly manner and GA-RATE service of some of the other reviews. On the contrary, I found the staff to be hostile and ill-mannered, and I assume that they act this way when they are pretty sure that they can get away with it. They charged me 52.00 for essentially nothing, and I saw another review that said the same thing. They apparently researched the price of a replacement motor and labor for an electric window that was stuck in the door -without taking the door panel off to look or troubleshoot the issue. They seemed peeved when I didnt want to leave my car there for a few days and have the work done. I wouldnt recommend this shop and I am sorry to have wasted my precious time and money there.

I have been going to Boomfield Auto for over 30 years now. It is so great to have mechanics that you can depend on. Just the other day, I found radiator fluid dripping on my driveway. Like an idiot, I just assumed I needed a new radiator hose without even raising the hood. I took it in, only to find the cap was bad. They could have easily taken advantage and changed all of the hoses and I wouldve never have known the difference. But they didnt. And this isnt the first time something like this has happened. They try their hardest to help you in emergency. Example, a while back, I pulled into my garage and heard a hissing. Noticed a screw in my tire. I jumped in the car and drove up because I hate changing tires. I mentioned it was about time for an oil change thinking I would have to leave the tire and come back the next day to get it and an oil change. After about 45 minutes, Jeff said it was already. I asked if they could save the tire, and he said its already fixed and they got the oil changed. I would give them 10 stars if that were possible.

Jeff and Troy went the extra mile to find an affordable, guaranteed replacement engine, and then gave me a loaner vehicle much nicer than the one I left for work.

For two years, Id been complaining to my regular mechanic, who works for a big operation, that my brakes were weak. He gave me new brakes and flushed the system (took hours and cost a lot) but they were just as weak. He said they function within normal range. Then my brake light came on and my mechanic said I had a slight leak in the left wheel cylinder and hed fix it for $285. I put it off and yesterday I lost my brakes. I needed someone nearby so I contacted Broomfield Auto Center, who I had no former experience with. They took my car right away and replaced BOTH the left and right wheel cylinders for $300. When I drove off, the brakes were so tight, I flew forward when I came to my first stop. Now thats what Ive wanted! Excellent in every respect. Theyre the only ones to use!

We took my girlfriends jeep patriot here. She needed two lower ball joints and control arms replaced. They beat everybodys price by over $200. I work in customer service and these guys know how to treat people. Will be going here for now on. Jeff is great to. Explained everything thoroughly and was honest

Over priced oil change. Told me I had to go back after 3k miles on a synthetic oil change. Too focused on making small profits rather than creating long term customers. Garbage.

My truck wouldnt start so I had it towed to Broomfield Auto Service. I have never been here, but it was the closest place to me. They were able to get to my truck immediately and let me know what was going on.There were several problems, but they addressed them all and stuck to the price they quoted me. They did some troubleshooting to find part of the problem which was not at first apparent. They took the time to address this issue as well and did not charge extra for this. I am very pleased with the service here. I live in Englewood, but in the future I will be taking my trucks here.

Took my truck in for a tire rotation and other routine maintenance. When they rotated by tires, they lost/misplaced one of my aftermarket hubcaps. I called to ask about it and the person on the phone said they would check with the mechanics and call me back. I never received a phone call. Also, about a week after they serviced my car, another hubcap fell off while I was driving. These hubcaps attach to the wheel with 8 screws, so I’m pretty sure the mechanic put them on incorrectly (otherwise they shouldn’t have fallen off). I’m bummed and I will not be a return customer.

Received a Welcome to the Neighborhood voucher for a free oil change from BAC about 2 weeks after we moved into our new home. Didnt have a wrench on the North side yet so I was excited to get a chance to try one out without going out of pocket. Called to set up an appointment, dropped my car off, had it finished same day and the voucher was accepted without a hassle. Jeff and the other guys I talked to were nice, helpful, and courteous. No a complaint and my Focus is running like a champ. Thanks BAC, you got yourselves a new customer.

I started going to Broomfield Auto because they would rent u-haul trailers to me regardless of the soft top on my jeep wrangler. I assumed they were more enlightened than the mules at the regular u-haul rental facilities and could see thru the idiotic u-haul rules. Well that changed today when I attempted to pick up a trailer rental to move a desk. I was denied a rental because I have a soft top on my jeep, by the same guy, that has rented to me multiple times in the past.I started bringing all of my vehicles here for service based of them renting trailers to me when I needed them. Im not sure if I will continue coming here now. Otherwise, the work theyve done on my vehicles (alignments, brakes, tires, inspections) is good and their prices are fairly average.

I have been taking my car to Broomfield Auto Service for oil change and some work for a couple of years now. I had to take it in yesterday (4/2) because my clutch fluid was leaking out. I did a google self diagnosis of a probably bad slave cylinder. Turned out it was just the hydraulic tube between the master and slave. BAS replaced it and did a flush & fill of the clutch fluid.I was so glad they were able to get my car in and fix it with no notice.Excellent service!

I took my car in about a week ago because the battery light was on and the engine was over heating. The person at the front desk did not bother to call me when the car was finished and I ended up calling them on my own at the end of the day after the weekend had passed. When I got there to pay the man up front made rude comments to me about having a check that was pre-written and just overall was not friendly and difficult to get along with. Then, I drove off and my light went on immediately, indicating that my engine was overheating. So, I called right back after driving a couple miles just to make sure and the same guy at the front fed me some bull about how they checked the coolant and ran it for 45 minutes in the shop and took it for a test drive, which if they had, they would have noticed what was up. So, I took it in the next evening and the guy told me to come back even though they didnt close until 6 and I came around 5. Even though it was clear that they had not done their job correctly, and because of that an issue was still happening, he refused to help. I left mad, and the mechanic who worked on my car came out and admitted that he added coolant but didnt check it again, which was literally all that needed to happen and that he didnt want to watch a customer walk off mad. Adding more coolant at that time ended up fixing the overheating problem. Overall that fart sniffer up front made this a whole ordeal purely because he doesnt feel the need to fix mistakes or help customers. He is the whole reason I didnt like the service. So if a manager or someone who actually matters at this place reads this I hope you take it seriously. That guy needs help with his customer service because I, and my room mates have decided not to come back because of all the inconvenience and unhelpfulness he provided.

My boyfriend’s check engine light came on and the first thing we did was take it to CarMax. They told us they couldn’t provide a diagnoses or guarantee any work on the car until the end of the month which is very inconvient. I took it upon myself to call this shop after finding out our warranty can be stretched out to other places and I am so pleased with the service we received from Broomfield Auto. The day I called they told me to drop off the car and they can let me know the problem as soon as the next day. After knowing what the problem was, they said they can also work on it the next day following and have it done before the night ends. These men stuck to their word and now the car is back to running like a dream. I’m so grateful for the fast, honest, and professionalism work. We often take shops like this and the laborers for granted. Thank you so much gentleman!

I wasnt going to bother with complaining but something they didnt do came up and now that did it. My rear shocks are blown and I paid them to specifically check my car for damage after getting rear ended and they didnt and the shocks fluid is all over my wheel well and I cant claim it now. I brought in the car because of a weird noise they never diagnosed and charged for, installed struts at book price for $270 even though I know it takes no time to do. So $500 later I find the noise to be my wheel well cover hitting the ground and took it off myself. Luckily I knew to dispute the charges with my credit card and wished I would have done more now because I also had to have a rental for a week and they basically did nothing during that time. Its my fault because every few years I need a car repair and forget that mechanics cant be trusted. I read a few bad reviews and the theme of having to charge for time spent is complete bologna. I dont think incompetence can be assessed as a fee. I wish I would have self diagnosed the noise before scrambling to this entitled do nothing shop.
