I’m always impressed with whomever I see at this practice. Everyone is professional and friendly. The hygienist talks through the cleaning so I always know what she’s doing and feel comfortable. They use a text reminder service so I never forget an appointment. The office is super clean and organized!

Dr. Kwak is the best dentist I have ever had. She is supremely knowledgeable in her craft. I had several long term problems that other dentists had watched for far too long, including old fillings that had cracked and caused tooth damage. She expertly corrected the problems. She works quickly and confidently. I have never had any pain during her procedures. I have the utmost trust in her work. The entire dental practice is staffed by friendly, warm people. The place is wonderful!

I can’t say enough about this practice. It’s so clean and they use such modern technology. I’ve been working with Dr Kwak for crown work. She has such a precise eye and a gentle touch. I have dental anxiety and I feel so comfortable with her. I had my temporary crowns in for way too long and they stayed in without issues. I over heard her speaking down to one of her hygienists in a demeaning manor, I was so happy to see the hygienist stick up for herself. Post COVID, I felt safe, welcomed and was very pleased with the steps they are taking to insure safety and great dental care. This office staff, dentists and dental assistants are considerate, professional and top notch in the care they deliver. Dr. Kwak is one of the very best dentists who takes great pride in her work. While I don’t always look forward to another visit to the dentist, I travel past many others to go here and am very pleased.

First time back at Brookline Progressive Dental Team since Covid hit. Ive been coming here for years for what I feel is phenomenal dental care with Dr. Kwak. In the past, she has restored a few problem teeth with onlays which is a more conservative approach to a crown when its doable. I am so pleased with the results.This time around, I was past due for an exam so it ended up being a yearly cleaning. My old hygienist, Paige moved away so I saw Ashley. I felt right at ease with her. They are back with the tools vs ultrasonic cleaning due to the aerosols released from ultrasonic cleaning. I can appreciate their decisions to keep their people safe and healthy. Even with the old school tools, it was a gentle experience. Of course, the staff were masked up and the waiting area was properly distanced with what I remember as stuffed penguins? on chairs for separation. (nice touch)As usual all my questions about my oral health and teeth were met with kind and informative answers. I had a gum pocket that had turned a little deeper and rather than come back, I asked Ashley if she could take care of it now since it was only one spot. She was game and I got to leave there without worrying that there would still be tarter stuck at the bottom of that pocket. BPDT - great team!

First the office is exceptionally clean and beautiful - very relaxing. The staff is calm & organized. This help because when it comes to dental work I am a train wreck - the worst patient ever. Dr. Kwak is amazing, she has an amazing technique administering novocaine (Im extremely needle phobic too). Her skills, eye, and hands are truly exceptional. Dr. Kwak also made me feel like I was part of the procedure and made sure that I was comfortable from start to finish. When the procedure was done and I finally looked in a mirror I actually broke down - an amazing transformation.

There is no denying that this dental office is plush and posh. It is evident from the moment you step in with the architectural stone cladding on the wall to the indoor waterfall feature. Its as if youve stepped into a high end spa and not a dentists office. And while the environment is calming and beautiful, you end up paying princely sums for these luxuries from the nearly $4,000 charge per crown to the $700 charge for a night guard. These prices are roughly 30% higher than what other dentists charge for comparable procedures. If money is no object then come to this practice. However, if youre paying out of pocket or if your insurance isnt spectacular, think twice before making an appointment.

When I started looking for a dentist’s office in Boston I picked Brookline Progressive Dental because of its location. Although, I was happy to find that not only was it a good location but the team and service was great!They are always flexible and easy to schedule with, including Saturday appointments which is nice if you have a busy schedule. They are located by ample parking and right on the green line making it easy to get to and from and the team is professional and always happy to answer questions. Highly recommended!

Always had great and timely clinical care with their team for the 3+ years I have been there. This last time, I had a small billing issue where I was charged more than I was quoted. They were able to resolve it quickly, assumed responsibility for it, and adjusted the charge to the initial quote. That is exemplary service and the reason I will continue to go back as it is a great and honest practice.

I went there last night and from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I had nothing but positive experiences with the staff. When Marlene greeted me, she asked me how my trip to Mexico was (something I had briefly mentioned a week prior in an email when communicating) and was all round very friendly. I next met with Aimee, the dental hygienist and was likewise very personable and friendly. The Doctor, ironically named Kwak, was also very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable when it came to treating me.As for the service, they provided a comprehensive look at my teeth found some relatively minor issues and made a plan to come back to fix them.Overall, Im very happy with the service and look forward to going back (as much as one would want to go back to the dentist, anyway).

I cant say enough good things about this dentist! From check in to check out I feel so cared for and doctors and staff are all pleasant so I forget I am at a dental office. I have gone through extensive dental work in the past but things fell apart. I was extremely frustrated and needed someone to help me but it seemed like no dentist was able to help my situation. After I had consultations with at least 5 dentists I almost gave up and was getting very depressed. One of the dentists referred me to Dr.Kwak and I thank him for life! She was very calm and competent. She knew exactly what she was doing and put me at ease. She did not leave me in dark and always explained to me what was going on, what the plans were and was kind to answer all my questions. Im an extremely nervous patient but she never seems annoyed or frustrated but is always very caring and sweet. Because of her work I can smile again! I moved to Newport a couple of years ago but it didnt stop me from coming to see her and her team. I cant imagine going anywhere else for my dental care. I highly recommend this dental office!

I have always been scared of dentists. I recently had a few cavities filled and a crown put in for the first time. I was nervous, but soon felt very safe and comfortable when i met the staff and went over the procedure. The procedure was painless and was completed without any problems. I had one of my back molars restored. It was tricky because of the location but the dentist and team handled the whole procedure with sensitivity and care. I had an end-of-day appointment, which made it convenient, and woke up the next morning with no side effects and a tooth that felt like new!

Exceptional dental team with exceptional results. I came to Dr. Kwak frustrated with dentists being uncomfortable taking on the challenge of correcting my smile (or rather just teeth as I never had really smiled at the time!). Dr.Kwak is an absolutely miracle worker. She and her team do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and confident. As someone who was very concerned about my oral health, she was sure to explain everything in great detail and answer all my questions. Since completing my smile makeover back in September, I have not stopped smiling! Seriously a life changing experience all thanks to Brookline progressive dental team!

These guys are so great, Paige the hygienist is gentle, fast and thorough and Dr. Kwak is the best , any procedure is painless and quick!
