Shonteera is the best! She was able to fix the mess that another stylist at another place left me with! She is engaged in what she is doing and is very personable! I will never venture away from her again! Lesson learned!

The services were used for a wedding I was in.I did not enjoy the services received, especially not for the price.Stylists were both nice enough.Hair was just average and when asked to fix something I wasn’t too fond of there was a slight attempt to make it better but was still not great. Makeup was caked on, made my skin feel greasy, and made me break out the next day. The make up had to be wiped from every crease/line in my face after making a facial expression or even after smiling because the make up was so caked on.After receiving subpar services I went to the cash register to check out and was completely appalled by the price as I was told it would be one price and was way off from what was told.Overall not a great experience.

I went for the first time this week to get highlights. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted when I got home and looked at it more so I called and they were happy to help me get it fixed. I’ve never had better service and felt so important as a customer.

Great place to ready for my wedding. The absolute best pedicure and manicure for anyone looking for real skincare. Hair was superb, as well, even though I was a last minute client and they had to work to get me in to several different stylists. All were superb.

Went in for a haircut and a color. The haircut was great!! However, when it came to the color it was an awful experience. I showed the colorist a photo of what I wanted, and told her I wasn’t familiar with the methodology required to get the look. She said she had it handled, great! So she started, and I didn’t question what she was doing. She ended up just bleaching my hair, instead of dying it to the dark red color I had asked for, described, and had a photo of. This was already three hours into my visit and I was disappointed. So I told her that my hair looked nothing like the photos I showed her and she told me this is what I asked for. I told her that I wanted what the photo looked like. She agreed to fix it and we started the process again. Well... She ended up dying only the top of my head. I sat in that chair for six hours and the end result was a color that looks like it’s grown out after four months. At this point I’m sick of being here and sick of trying to explain what I asked for. So I agreed to leave. Checking out the colorist charged me full price for a dye that was honestly terribly done and looked NOTHING like my pictures. She was VISIBLY upset when I left her a $10 tip (I know it’s not much but she didn’t do what I asked for and I spent the ENTIRE afternoon there). I wouldn’t get a color at sunflower again. 2/5 and those stars are only gained by the lady who cut my hair.

Best haircuts in town

This salon is wonderful at the very least for hair. Loni did mine for prom and 15 minutes in she allowed me to change my mind. My hair ended up wonderful. Recommend 100%

After having a mediocre experience at another salon, I found this one online. I thought Id give it a try. Ive been a client for two years now. I absolutely love their atmosphere, the extra care they take with you when youre there and they all seem to enjoy their jobs. Not to mention, they are very good at them. I have seen other stylists, but my favorite thus far is Morgan.

The stylists truly listen and are always staying on top of the new, popular trends and styles for all ages. Aveda products are a must for hair care!

I went to the sunflower to enjoy a relaxing facial and get an eye brow waxing which was done by the owner of the salon. She first waxed my right brow and everything was ok. She then waxed my left brow and burned the whole layer of skin under my brow. After it happened she said that my left brow looked a little red but that it would be ok. The following day my left skin under my brow looked like it was severely burned. I decided to go into the salon a few days after it happen to show them my skin and how it was burned and taking a while to heal. I wanted to let them know that their wax was too hot.They did not care. I explained that I was unhappy with the service and nothing was done. I was told that the owner would contact me to discuss this. She never called. Needless to say I will never go back to the sunflower or recommend anyone to the salon.

TL;DR: This place is terrible for shellac and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone I know. Nice enough place for normal polish.I went to this salon based on their reviews, the day before my wedding (I had it booked for about a week). I had a manicure/pedicure done. This included a shellac mani and a regular pedi.This was my first mani/pedi so I didnt really know what to expect going in. During the visit everything went well. The person who helped me was attentive, and I was given a soda to drink during my visit. The pedicure was especially nice, and she didnt mind me taking photos to add to my Snapchat story for the wedding.However, when I went to pay and I reached into my bag to get my wallet I gouged one of my nails severely on the side of my purse. It was such a gentle touch that I didnt even know what I hit. Shellac should not do that, but I didnt know that at the time. She said she would fix it, and we went back to the mani station. She buffed down the gouge so it was less noticeable and then covered it with a gloss coat. She did not UV dry it, which she should have done given it was a shellac mani.I called the next day and asked if it could be fixed before my wedding that evening and was told they didnt have time to but would the next day. I wasnt going to be in town as I lived 3 hours away and was only in town for my wedding and Id be leaving for Mexico the day after that.Skip ahead to my honeymoon, and by day 3 of my manicure it was pretty much gone. Immediately on day 2 it started peeling at all the edges and getting caught on everything. It was so soft and gel-like still that it didnt hold up to anything. If anyone has had shellac peel off they know this messes with your nails quite a bit as it tears the top few layers off. Three months later and Im still giving my nails extra TLC to recover from this.On the good side, my toe nail polish which was regular polish lasted nearly two weeks! Loved the color so much I went on Amazon and bought it for myself!
