I don’t usually right reviews but we made an appointment and still ended up waiting an hour to get in. they charged me $80 for this. It’s not horrible but i’ve gotten my nails done way better for way cheaper. do not recommend.

I Love Nail City. They are so nice and good at what they do. I usually see Helen and she is the sweetest.

First time here and they did everything I wanted. Showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly that. They were very nice. Place was clean and will definitely go back.

Only had 2 employees for a booked wedding party of 7 ladies. Charged more than the posted prices and quality of workmanship was VERY poor. Polish on nails did not even last from Thursday afternoon to Friday evening.

The worst service in history. I tried to explain that the paint was sloppy and the lady told me to speak straight. I tried talking to the owner and she as well was rude. I would not recommend this company at all. Also I still paid full price.

Have gone there before and my nails are usually not what I really want. Every time I make an appointment I have to wait much longer then I should. The last time I waited an hour and a half and finally left because they kept taking walk ins instead of the appointment that people had made. Just not really worth the money.

The ladies were very very nice and professional. She took her time on my nails and they turned out amazing! Best manicure Ive had!

Love the attention to detail

I am very impressed with my nails. They are pure art. The creativity and attention to detail is amazing. I’ve gone elsewhere and wasn’t nearly as impressed with the shape, quality and perfection of my nails. No lumps or bumps, they are sleek and smooth and stay put for weeks! Friendly, and professional - If you want beautiful trendy nails and a huge color selection I definitely recommend!

I went in for a double pedicure for me and my man. It was amazing! I have been to other nail places around town and the time spent pampering my feet and calves is minimal. This place put their hand to work as they rubbed, scrubbed and massaged my stress away. Very friendly. Beautiful color! Definitely going back!

Over booked and poor quality and the price was high.

If I could I’d give zero stars. I went and had a full set of acrylics put on on Friday and when I left the salon the nails looked gorgeous. They held up fine over the weekend but by Tuesday afternoon every single nail had broken or popped off. I paid $70 for the set and tipped $10 for the nails to last a whole whopping 4 days. I’ve had acrylics done elsewhere previously and they held up better but I was hoping to find somewhere new to go but Nail City is absolutely NOT the place to go.

Not impressed. Went in for a full acrylic set, it seemed like the lady was trying to get me in an out of there as quickly as she could. Paid $60 dollars or so just for my nails to fall off that same week; was very upset I paid $60 dollars for nails that didn’t even stay on longer than 5 days. Will not be going back

Three friends and I went in one afternoon for a pedicure, acrylic fill, and gel manicure. We were helped right away and the customer service was excellent! They were great quality mani’s and pedi’s and SUPER reasonably priced!! Definitely will be going back :)

I love this place!!! They actually care for what you want and if you show them a picture of something you want and they match it perfectly! Super happy with my results

Not pleased. The lady got nail polish all over one of my rings and didn’t even try to clean it up. She spent hardly any time filing my nails as well. None of my nails are the same shape. Do not recommend whatsoever. Would give 0 stars if I could

Helenas massage is simply the best, and they pay extra attention to Customers, and I feel well taken care of whenever I am there.

The staff is friendly and I appreciated their attention to detail.

My wife loves getting the foot spa done there. And if it makes her happy it is a great place to go.

Stopped in as Cali nails didnt have time for me. They told me it would be 30-45 mins. I went shopping & came back. She prepared a chair for me while she finished another customer. She did and impeccable job on my pedicure. No complaints. I will be a repeat customer. Pricing is average.

Quick to get in and finished, some nails were uneven at the end. But overall, good experience.

Omg!! I have been coming here for almost 6 years and have NEVER been disappointed! Minji and Helen are 2 of the most amazingly talented and gifted women in the nail art industry! I feel like a PRINCESS and my nails are gorgous and stay looking good until my next fill. Quality work and personal service! And the pedicures are fabulous! I could fall asleep! They gently yet effectively remove dry skin and calluses, message, trim and paint so wonderfully that I wouldnt even think of going elsewhere. Relaxed,clean and incredible results!! Yall need to check them out for SURE

Love the customer service these ladies provide! I dont even stop in that regularly, maybe once every two months for a standard polish mani or pedi, but they have remembered me since the second time I came in. Its only around $15 for a mani, and they do a great job of cleaning up my cuticles. There can be a bit of a wait because of the small staff, but you can schedule an appointment, or my trick is to stop by on my way to get groceries. If they can get to me right away, great. If not, Ive got a half hour to kill and come back.

Nails done perfectly

I was just in there yesterday. I went in she said it would be and hour so I left and came back had to wait another half hour. There were only two working then. I showed her a picture of the nails I wanted and she got the wrong color and they arent even matte like I asked. She charged me 30$ over what their sign says, even tho I told her she didnt do what I asked. She was very rude also

Ive been going to Nail City since they have opened. Im very pleased with the service they provide. I can always get an appt the same day as I call. Great staff and clean establishment.

My nails stayed on for two days. Prices we ridiculous. I have no time to sit around and wait for workers. Wouldn’t NOT recommend to others. Not going there again

If youre looking for a nail salon in Brookings id try one of the others - I paid the full price for a manicure and the lady that did my nails did an awful job. She didnt even take the time to file my nails or apply a base coat, and my nails were completely chipped by the next day. The only reason I gave it one star is because my mom got her nails done and it was somewhat decent (although her toe nails were also chipped the next day.)

Worst manicure ever. Lumpy acrylic and the most sloppy and unprofessional nail polish application Ive ever seen. Nail tech messed up my polish while it was drying and LEFT IT.

My nails chipped almost immediately and were very expensive. Horrible.
