Outstanding facility and super nice staff! We havent been here for a couple years and when we came back, they reminded us that we had a credit on our account and didnt have to pay. Really fun and challenging climbing walls for all experience levels.

A frequent climbers paradise. I admit, sometimes the routes can be up for months, but lots of options for top rope climbing as well as lead. Auto belays are also placed on most walls. The staff is very nice and are always there to help.

Place was kinda small and not too many climbing options as others that Ive seen. Staff was friendly though but I ended up going during a birthday party so the place was full of little kids. Once they left it was more enjoyable but still, after 30 minutes of climbing it just got repetitive.

This place is a friendly environment and is welcoming to both new and experienced climbers. The lessons are worth your while and teams are fun. The competitions are fun for any skill level and are more like a big party. Anything Adventure Rock produces or any events that they hold will always be of the highest quality. I really enjoyed it as a non climber and just looking for something to do with my partner during these times. The only reason for the one star is I felt there were quite a few routes that didnt have a clip-n-go system that would have been nice to try. Overall though the experience was pleasant and so were the people.

Adventure rock is great for a 2 hour fun hang out with friends or family. While in CoVid, GO ONLINE TO SIGN UP FOR A TIME SLOT. I did not but was able to sign up online and come back the same day. Great place to go and climb against your friends or take a young family member that has too much energy and make them burn some off. They do offer memberships but when doing the math, if you arent going atleast 3 times a month it is cheaper to just pay the day pass or the 2 hour rate.

The rock climbing and price was great. But we had a very rude employee that wrecked our experience. She was so rude and horrible that I never want to come back to this place again. Maybe one of there other locations I would consider, but not this one due to her. She came up with her own rules and opinions that she wanted everyone to follow. I mean if she was the owner its all good. But I feel she was not anywhere close. Super rude and will not come back to this location because of her, our visit was on 11-14-10 at approx 3:00 pm. She was shorter and dark hair and very rude.

Definitely recommend trying Adventure Rock. Its fun for everyone in the family. Very clean and all the staff are great and helpful.

I’m a charter member with a membership that is paid literally until I’m 80. I’ve climbed on 5 continents & in gyms all over the U. S. And the 3 A Rock gyms are the best groups of gyms I’ve been to.

Never been here. Wish you had pole climbing, though. Maybe a couple 60 to 80 foot poles, maybe some shorter ones.

Kids always have a great time here. The recent expansion taking over the rest of the building was smart once the Subway closed down, though that will be missed for the late evening activities.

Best gym membership ever. Sometimes I go 5 times a week. Its nice to have an outlet in the winter. Staff and guests are super friendly. Its a nice community.

Everything connected to Adventure Rock is phenomenal from the staff, service and knowledge they possess. Everyone has knowledge in different areas and the community in this location is pretty DOPE. They have definitely been apart of my growth in climbing not to mention they put up with me. (That it a feat on its own)

Amazing facility, great workout, and a ton of fun for kids too. Good brief training and staff were knowledgeable. I was slightly concerned about safety but after a couple climbs it is clearly very safe. My son would have stayed all day if we had time. We’ll be back!

Being a member here is awesome. It seems pricy at first, but when you combine rope climbing, bouldering, yoga classes, and the gym - you cant go wrong. I seriously reccomend this gym to anyone trying to spice up their workout routines because sometimes (always) the treadmill gets boring. They have 10 day passes to try it out too!

Fun rock climbing, professional staff, nice variety of routes. Brookfield location isnt as tall or as many routes as Milwaukee location, but still a great place if you are on that side of town

Had an amazing time here. I did the “Clip-N-Go” option one night after work, and for $21.02 it was more than worth it. I signed the visitor agreement online earlier that day, so that cut the time it took to actually get climbing by about half. The introduction and tour of the facility was quick, but thorough, with plenty of opportunities to ask any questions I had. The staff member that assisted me (I am terrible with names and have forgotten his) with my harness and showed me how to clip in to the auto-belay machine was very friendly and super chill, and went over the process of climbing safely using the ABM, while still reminding me that climbing is an inherently dangerous sport.I was only able to climb for about an hour, but it was, again, more than worth the $21.02 it cost. I highly recommend going here if you’ve ever even remotely considered climbing. I will say this, if you’re like me and did some reading, or plan to do some reading, about ABM’s... don’t let it scare you. They really aren’t that bad. The rate of descent is slow enough that it does not feel like you’re falling. You just have to trust the equipment and know that it will keep you safe, as long as you’re clipped in properly and your harness is tight. That first time letting go is hard, but once you do it one time, it seems trivial after that. Don’t let it keep you from experiencing this!

I first joined ad rock because I didnt want to be a member at a typical gym. I enjoy the goal aspect of rock climbing. Adventure rock offers that and more! All employees here are friendly and will gladly offer any information for the beginner. Members here are also (for the most part) great! Very friendly and also willing to dole out help when prompted. Great, no judgment place to get your work out on!

Great facility but had a very rude encounter with one of the lesson coaches. He made my daughter who was having a hard time sit out from the rest of the group and was very rude and made my daughter cry.

Boulders here feel more fun than its twin gym in Milwaukee but the lead clips feel less thought out and make you work at the top. Usually busy but the boulder and workout room is great.

I wouldve gave this place 5 stars until I had this rude encounter. My cousins and I were climbing the easiest difficulty wall in the main area and one of my cousins had just finished climbing the wall. All of a sudden, some random guy ,who apparently was a coach there, walked up to my cousin, unstrapped his harness, and then told us to go somewhere else so that his athletes could practice. I completely understand why he wanted us to go somewhere else, but it was just very rude how he went about telling us to move. I would try and find a day and time where there arent a lot of club members climbing because this place obviously cares more about the members than customers.

This is a fun activity that gives a real workout. The staff is tremendous. I arrived with 2 friends from India who had never done anything like rock climbing. The staff was helpful beyond what I would have expected. Kudos to them.The place itself is great with short walls for beginners, tall for the accomplished and a room for experts. They showed all of it to us. They provided harnesses, helped to put them on and gave a 10 minutes into to rock climbing.This is the way all businesses should operate.

If you want some of the best climbing in Wisconsin, and friendly staff to show you how, Adventure Rock is the best place to be. While it can get a little busy sometimes, the wonderful community they have is always willing to lend a hand. Truly this is a one of a kind place, if I could give it 6 stars I would, as cheesy as that sounds.

Havent rock climbed in years indoors, went today, and it was pretty fun. They have everything here for the beginners to the hardcore climbers. Birthday room, lockers, a small weight room. I think my friend goes there for 40 a month. Seems like a great deal if you love rock climbing.

I was a chaperone on my son’s Boy Scout troop for a overnight stay at the Brookfield location. Had the pleasure of being introduced to the sport by Luke and Hanz. Both guys are incredibly patient with the kids and they did fantastic job with encouraging the boys to keep going and giving it their all to get to the top and finish the course. Very informative and friendly staff and was always greeted with a smile when I approached someone. I plan on coming back and bringing my two other sons out to see if they would like to give it a try. Awesome trip with my son that I’ll always remember! Thank you guys!!

Fun place to go climbing. They opened a new bouldering room this past summer and are always updating routes to keep a variety. Not as big as the downtown location, but a great stop. Staff has always been helpful and friendly.

Wow a friend just invited me to rock climbing for the first time. Such a fun work out everyone should go at least once.

The instructors are patient and thorough. There is a lot of variety in the wall courses and the place is well kept.

A well presented climbing gym with climbs for every one from novices to Olympic climbers. Well staffed with considerate employees. All climber at the gym are considerate and love inducting new climbers. A great place to have fun, hang out with friends, decompress from work, or just meat new people.

If you like climbing, go to adventure rock! Its a great place with friendly staff. The walls have various levels of difficulty, so even if you are a beginner, there are walls for you!

I used their bouldering area. It had a nice variety of routes within my skill skill set and some above that I could work through and several for more advanced climbers. The staff was helpful when I had questions.

I have been climbing at Adventure Rock since the first days it opened. Its a great atmosphere for everyone, from experienced rock climbers looking to train to beginners looking for excellent instruction. The route setters do a great job keeping a variety of new routes up and the desk staff is always friendly. This is a fun place to hang out and exercise. Sure beats going to the gym and using a treadmill.

Our first time here. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I took my son and his friend during the day on a week day. It was a nice time to go because there were very few people there, it was almost as if they had the place to themselves. Their clip and go system is great for novice climbers. They have harder climbs too. They are all given a number to rate difficulty.

So much fun. My daughter love it. The auto-belay was quite good also, but I was scared to use it and prefer to climb up and down by myself. Since I ws a kid I would only climb somewhere if I knew I could climb down also.

What are you going to do, go somewhere with a better review? This place is right up in the hearth of Riverwest with lots to do around it. The holds are great, the routes are changed out often, and they are all rated a step below other places (i.e. theyd call a 5.10 a 5.9), but that just means you have to push yourself a little harder here. Its a really friendly atmosphere too!

Great climbing gym, with facilities for serious competition, casual climbing, special events, etc. My kids and I have enjoyed this space and wonderful staff for many years.

This is an amazing rock climbing facility. There are many routes from beginning to advanced. They also have automatic belay rigs if you want to go solo.

Had a lot of fun at the birthday party we took my grandson to. I would recommend it!

They have remodeled and added a bunch of clip n go climbs for beginners. This place is great for kids and families as well as serious rock climbers. They also have climbing classes and a new consolidated bouldering space.

Went here on a surprise date night with my Girlfriend. We had a blast. It would have been nice to not have jeans on but she didnt want to spoil the surprise.

Nice condition, well lite, lots of walls to climband a free climb Bolder room. There are bathrooms, showers, lockers and rental equipment. The instructors are experienced and patient. They also sell equipment, Powerade and Cliff bars.

This a pretty cool place to come and spend a few hours working up a sweat, and conquering ur fear of heights. Definitely a good expirience :)

This place is such a good time. If youre brand new to climbing, they have some great instructions and the Auto Belay is a work of genius. Before you head in, check Groupon for any discounts - it always seems like there is a special (it got us to go!).There are many different difficulty levels that are color coded so you know what youre getting yourself into. The Auto Belay allows you to climb without someone belaying your rope, which is awesome because it allows inexperienced climbers (like myself) to have the freedom to choose which walls to climb.There are several rooms, some with boulder climbs (no rope but close to the ground) and really high climbs in a couple rooms. The place is super clean and everyone was very friendly. There were tons of kids here, just flying up the walls, but they got tired after a few hours so im sure their parents loved that it burned them out! We will absolutely be back. 100%.
