Empire Auto is one of the best mechanical shops I’ve been too who offer the best rates. Favian diagnosed my car and figured out everything thing that was wrong. I was ready to get rid of this car now I might be driving it for the next 3 -5 years.

Favian and his team of people were extremely nice and welcoming! Being a female I have encountered lots of mechanics who have tried to get over on me price wise thinking I don’t know much about cars but Favian from the jump was honest extremely fair & extremely affordable! One of the best in the Chicago area. Took my electrical problem to 2 other places, and they couldnt figure it out. Favian had it figured out in a day and for a great price. I was so impressed I had the head gasket replaced on my daily driver by Favian too. If youre looking for someone that is honest and will treat your car like it is his own, this is the place to go.

I called Favian, owner of Empire Auto in Brookfield Ill, yesterday evening and I described how my auto was running.I seemed to me that the weather could have been the cause of the rough idle.Until the check engine light came on and I brought it in a few minutes ago. Favians auto technician discovered not only cylinder 5 was misfiring, but freakin rats chewed the fuel injector wires for cylinders 5 completely and 7 partially.The car was running on 7 cylinders and 6 at times !!Wow !!Empire Auto checked the codes on my car first to get to the trouble code causing the check engine light and misfire... EXCELLENT !!

I was fortunate I met Fabian. I have been struggling for months to get my car fixed because it would not pass the emission test. Fabian took a few days and I must Amit I was hesitant but something told me to give him a chance. I was so impressed with the details he gave me. If you need a good honest shop this is the one. Ive been going to Empire Auto several times and I drive from Waukegan just to go to Favian. Very knowledgeable at what he does. Ive done everything from rack and pinion to tie rods, brakes, shocks, struts, electrical issues. This place is very good at priotizing the work for those on a budget, and most importantly honest. I cannot say enough positives about Favian. I had a problem with my air-conditioner and had it checked an Midas and got quote. I remembered Favian because he was so polite and courteous in a previous conversation. I drove over near closing time Saturday to ask for help. Favian spent well over an hour diagnosing my car while he finished working on another car. Every test was done and several addition issues were found and repaired. My car needed a new compressor and a few other parts (The Midas quote said the same but they missed a huge leak which Favian found and fixed). I received a very fine quote which saved me some serious money. On Monday I brought the car in to a friendly Favian who had the needed parts ready. Having a Certified Mechanic is important to me and I got it here along with fast thorough friendly service, a generous warranty and my car is perfect, FYI Favian took the additional step of testing all of my components that could cause issues and he tested the old parts to insure that they were bad.Bottom Line:Great, Friendly Certified MechanicKnowledgeable, Efficient and ThoroughFair PricingAccommodating and RespectfulI will be coming back and recommending him to everyone I know needing car repairs and/or maintenance.Great Job Favian and Thank you!
