Greg and his crew make an honest, skilled, straightforward, hardworking team. Family owned business. FAST service. Call ahead, they are booked out a couple days usually, and for a good reason- they are without a doubt the best in the entire Milwaukee area. You can seriously trust this place for fair prices and quality work. My parents took all of our family cars, imports and domestics, here for the last 20 years. I now live elsewhere and still go to Griswolds now with my cars, driving 30 extra minutes to go this place because its totally worth it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I wish all auto mechanics were this good, fast and honest. My sister takes her cars here and when my Mom needed to have the flex pipe and catalytic converter replaced on her 2003 Elantra, Greg gave me a fast quote (just scribbled on a piece of paper) and said he could get us in the day after tomorrow. I was just visiting from Seattle, so Im used to having a formal quote for auto work, but you could tell that what Greg told you would be what he would do and I booked the appointment. I dropped the car off (key in the night box) the next evening and they had it done for me early the day after. And it was less than his quote!! I wish I had Griswold Automotive in Seattle!!!

Repair was done in the same day at a good price. I was impressed by their honesty in billing for 0.9 hours when I would have expected anyone to have billed for 1.

Had a hose on my power steering pop off due to very cold weather near this shop, so I brought it in. Despite the fact they were booked up until the following week, they squeezed me in and fixed it well before when they had promised (luckily it turned out to be a fairly easy fix which helped). I felt the price was very reasonable. They seemed very customer friendly. Would go again.
