As a cancer survivor, I was offered a day of beauty. The staff were extremely professional and courteous. I truly enjoyed the back facial, it was very relaxing. The hair technicians were polite, and I loved my hair style. The Director, Erica Brooks is a great mentor and inspiration to her staff.

If I could give Alexis a 1000stars I would I love my hair everyone very friendly and helpful and Im here again today 8/16 to get full highlights and hair treatment its a long process but Id rather be safe than sorry like when I went to an actual salon and they ruined my hair I wanted a dark blue ombre I left with green hair. I love this school and my stylist shes wonderful Ill never go back to a salon

I am customer for over 10 years i have the worst experience ever i went to do my hair and deep conditioner it took forever and the treatment was bad and she was hurting me by doing my hair i. ask for the manager never came untill the end i came out with tears in my eyes i will contact the top people for the treatment let us see wath are they gonna say about this

One of the recruiters for this school is very rude not empathetic and disrespectful. My child is a young adult who is trying to juggle going to school as a first time college freshman and trying to figure out a lot of other things during this pandemic. This recruiter basically went off on her because she felt that she did not contact her back in a timely manner! That is not the proper way to talk to a child or anyone for that matter. Because of this rude non-empathetic recruiter we will be looking for another school for my child to do esthetician classes at.

I asked for balayage last april and they dyed my whole hair blonde and left my roots dark brown, til this day the blonde won’t get out of my hair and i spent hundreds trying to fix it.

I haven’t been there in a long time but hoping to come back soon now that I have my vaccine

I’m not sure why I have never had a facial, but I had a pleasant and relaxing first experience with Ashley who is a student. The Instructor was VERY knowledgeable and made great recommendations for needed treatment after the consultation. I will be back regularly!

I was here to get my hair done a few weeks ago...I forgot the names of the student and her instructor but I am very satisfied with the service and the am elated that finally my hair is doing what I want. My hair was very dry and had a lot of damage. Ive gone to many salons explaining what I want for the past few years and not one of the stylist gave me the right advice for my hair. The cut and color that the student stylist did is awesome. Very pleased will definitely be returning :).

I used to be a notorious hair color box user because i don’t get many days off work and the box was a quick and easy fix. That quick and easy fix caused damage to my hair that has since been corrected by the wonderful staff at Tricoci University.On the downside I have stayed here from opening of the salon to the beginning of the second shift students twice before. My hair is a little over shoulder length. I’m hoping that it was because of the process they’ve had to do to repair and that I’m past that point.Other than timing , I’ve always been happy with how they leave my hair looking and feeling .

I’ve been calling for the last two weeks trying to sign up for the esthetics program. I’ve even texted the admissions counselor, he responded once but never again when I told him I had open availability. I’ve gone to the website and put my information in 3 times hoping for a call and still nothing. I even called and left my name and number. I left a voicemail. AND STILL NOTHING. I’m super upset because this is where I want to get my license from but luckily G Skin responded to me within minutes of applying for info. Hopefully I can get a call from Mario soon.

Terrible experience very unprofessional stylist(Mary Ann) she acted as if it was her first day had to keep looking for teacher for help and explanation how to perform her services. The attitude she displayed was very disrespectful and inappropriate when asked how long it was going to take? Teacher defused situation but a little to late customer services is what she really needs to learn and appropriate behavior in a work setting. These woman are attending this school to learn a trade and some of them are very good at what they are doing (Iran),then you come across this Mary Ann who just makes your school look like a joke. Sorry to say but will never recommend your services to anyone after todays experience.

I’ve had amazing experiences since the first day I came. The front desk receptionist ALEXIS is always amazing in handling check in and my payments. I love coming here. The student I see to get my services done always handles me with care & the Instructors show they care about their students success in their areas of expertise. 😁 Happy customer !!

I just went there yesterday because I remembered that they did my balayage the first time and it was beautiful. I had went darker a while back and wished I had never done that. Cristin Cameron fixed my hair perfectly and was so gentle and patient with my long hair. If I could thank her and the manager/teacher with purple hair (I didn’t get her name) I would all over again because they made my hair look like myself again. I am definitely going there again and recommend everyone who wants to get their hair done properly !

I am very pleased with the services I received. I went in for a cut and color treatment. My stylist Baraa was very sweet and friendly. I felt at ease with her. I have been coming to this school for about 10 years and always walked out feeling great. I would like to go back and try their nails and facial services. Overall the best beauty school.

I Love going to the Mario Tricocci University in bridgeview. The Instructors are do knowledgeable, and patient with the clients and the students. They take every opportunity they can to be a teaching moment, because everyone has different needs and concerns, and that client are not like a product in a factory on an assembly line.I have been working with Ms Ellen for years now and she is the bomb.There pricing is so economical, you just have to have time.Love this place

Damaris was awesome!! Sometimes you dont know what you need until you get it!! A real facial facial is a must!! The facial massage was a BONUS!!! I cant wait until my next treatment!! The downside is you must leave!! I felt relaxed after my treatment.

They are well structured and listen to the customer. My beautician asked me what I wanted and also offered some advice about my hair that would help. Also are very friendly and make sure all needs are met. The students are awesome and take the advice of the teachers

Oh my God I do not know where to start!!! Im sorry but you guys do not understand how to cut hair at all you just ruined my hair! Like I am crying over my hair right now. School starts in a few weeks and I look stupid.I specifically asked for 1 inch off but she had to say no 2 inches off! Why do you guys even care about how many inches I want? I specifically asked for 1 inch and thats what I want not 2 inches off!!! I told her no and she saw the face that I gave her, that was all worried but then I was like OK fine. She said dont worry 2 inches is only down here*as she points down to my hair* PFFFFT yet my hair now is up to my shoulders!! After she does cut my hair she cuts off a whole 6 inches not no 2 inches.My hair was long and I didnt want it up to my shoulders. My hair is messed up and its everywhere right now. My hair isnt even anymore!! It is legit everywhere the left side is longer than my right side!! My hair is longer in the back in the front. I really really hate to say this but I strongly disliked this place! I cant deal with short hair at all and I just hate it! Just next time understand the customer instead of just doing what you want. I understand recommendations but when someone says they want 1 inch off you cut 1inch and dont start complaining. Worst experience ever like Im hating my hair so bad!!!!! I just dont recommend this place to anyone. Just a really trashy place Im sorry but this is how I can explain it. If you want your hair to get ruined this is the place!😴🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🙄

I always go to beauty school TWO books from my house because I DO double color full foil. $300-400 @reg salon otherwise. Th at were good. Tricoci is great! Way more on trend VERY up to date date salon . Great students amost of all fantastic haircut for$14!

This evening me and my daughters went and got haircuts, it was an amazing experience! Our stylists were so great with the kids and my stylist asha (not sure how you spell it) was a doll and did such an amazing job on my g-bob!

Ive had my hair cut there for many years, and never been dissapointed!! The managers, overseers and students are amazing , got my hair cut yesterday, got dome dramatic layers all around done, and my hair is super long too, and it turned out perfect!! Exactly how I imagined it and more! ! Wish I could name names, but not sure I can, so I wont .But definitely recommend going there if you want to take good care of your hair, keep it growing strong and healthy ! They know what they are doing and hands down , best hair cut of my life!! Im soooo happy and will for sire be going back! !

Got my hair cut in May. Beautiful job! A cut that would easily be $60 + in a decent salon. I got a cut that looked like I just walked out of Sean Patricks in LaGrange. And believe me, when I could afford to go there, I would drop an easy $160 for a cut and a few highlights! The #1 issue between a client and the hair designer is communication! Many people arent realistic about the cut they want vs their hair. Not every cut can be worn by every person. Great job!

My first experience here was amazing! I came in with plans to cut off 8 inches of my hair and I was a little nervous at first, but Jazmine R. was so welcoming and was very good with getting my hair exactly how I pictured it. My cousin also enjoys it, but she goes to the one in Indiana Indianapolis for nails. And my must we say they have great teachers and motivators. My first impression when I walked in was that too many were goofing around and the music was VERY LOUD! Not professional at all! When Brenda finished my no chip the instructor didnt even bother to check on her work. My no chip manicure was done poorly and it chipped off the next day. Will not be back.

Very nice atmosphere & pleasant people. However! The cost for services are tricky. Make sure you ask upfront how much for services. My mom walked out paying $80 for something I couldve done at home or gotten cheaper at a professional salon. She is older & they just kept piling on the suggestions so she didnt know til she got to the register. The color she recieved did not cover her gray completly so it looks brown instead of black at the roots & which wont last long. I was charged $10 to wash/blowdry & $12 to flat iron it. So I spent $22 which was ok. I will not go back.

Heres the thing, its a school, the people doing your hair are students, sometimes you are even their first ever human cut in the style they are doing, so you should be a very patient person. I have what is usually discribed to me as a lot of hair by professionals, and at an experienced hair cutter it can take about an hour, here sometimes it takes about two to three hours, but I come prepared for that knowing they are being detailed with lengths and precision. They confirm every step with their teachers before continuing and sometimes this location has only one teacher on staff reporting to about 20 students which can actually be the most annoying part. The teacher usually goes over your hair after the cut is done to check for issues and to add little bits of flair to the basic cut, this is how they GRADE the student for your hair. If you try to remember they are being graded on this you understand why they may appear nervous and a few are not confident enough to chit-chat but Im ok with that, rather have them do a good job than gossip with me. Fantastic job for the price.

Im still crying. I went in with blondes hoping to make them blonder for the summer leaving with dark hair. So freaking upset plus I had to pay for it. Gonna go to Walmart to buy a $7.69 hair color to fix this mess.Tears are gone, yes I was not satisfied with my outcome because hair was darker than what I went in with hoping to go blonder, so I called the next day and spoke to instructor Megan. She had me come in the following week and Nicole, my miracle worker, left me smiling ear to ear with my blonde, beautiful hair. Thank you Mario Tricci for your satisfaction guarantee on color.

I am so disappointed because I drove 30 minutes just to go there and it was closed! Last time I checked it said online that it was open. I highly recommend them to change their schedule online!
