This is the 2nd house I have had Robert install an entire AC/Heater Unit in. This last unit was a 5 ton that lasted me almost 18 years - When talking w/ Robert he wanted to ensure that the size of the existing unit was accurate prior to replacement. He came over in his off time just to double check the ceiling heights and sq. footage and confirmed that we were good to go. I appreciated that level of detail versus other companies that would just punch in an order and worry about it later. He will not try and sell you on things you dont want or need and was great to work with to try and save me a few bucks. I remember the first house he installed an AC/Heating unit in, he said I live in this town and will definitely see my customers in the same grocery store and restaurants and dont want people to have anything other than a positive experience doing business with me. That always stuck with me and I am happy to give him the business.

I had an old packaged unit that went out, they were able to to get someone here to look at it promptly. The unit was over a decade and a half old and they advised me to replace it. I was quoted from the seller in a package upfront that included installation and new wiring on my thermostat. The service from their contractor was great as the 2 guys that were installing was very attentive. The only feedback I will give is the owner needs to be more clear and consistent when it comes to credit card fees or anything additional thats not covered at time of payment, even we are only talking about a very small percentage of the transaction amount, also, the communication needs to be more clear when it comes to included services because there was a discrepancy between the install and point of sale of what I was quoted. It took 2 phone calls to clear the discrepancy between the installer, the owner, and the seller. Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided.

Had a great experience working with Robert and his team. After a complete system failure last August, Robert came at my request to quote the installation of a new system. Robert worked closely with me to address any questions and concerns over what would be installed, and a few days later the system was installed and running. Could not be happier with everything. His crew member even corrected an annoying problem in the original HVAC wiring, which had been hidden away in the walls for 30 years.

Our 15+ year old package unit went out on a Saturday morning. I called Rapid Response and Robert came out right away and discussed fixing vs replacing with me. With the age of the unit I thought replacing was a no brainer. Robert gave me a fair price and had the unit installed 2 days later. The new unit is working great. Thanks!

Best HVAC experience hands-down! I will never use anyone else. They were able to come out immediately and diagnose the issues with my system. They replaced both of my units, which were very old, and were fast, friendly, and professional. They even worked with my home warranty company to get them everything they needed for my claim. Excellent Communication. They tell you when they are going to be there, when they are on their way, and when they arrive. Locally owned and operated with the best service. I don’t think you can beat their prices either!100% HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I called Rapid Response after my home warranty was not getting things done for me. It turns out I needed to get a new HVAC system installed due to the age and other issues. Rapid Response came out an assessed the issue the same day. The unit totally failed on us the following Friday night. Rapid Response was able to get the system ordered and installed that Sunday for a great price. The owner even offered to give me one of their personal AC units. After that the owner helped me navigate the claim with our home warranty company. Overall, amazing customer service, they will be getting my business in the future!

Rapid is an understatement. I called on a Sunday evening and while I was leaving a message Robert called me back and offered to arrange hotel stay for us until they could service the unit. They were out the first thing the next morning and got us up and working. We love them will definitely use them again when needed.

My experiences with Rapid Response have been great! I originally purchased a Groupon for an AC tune-up (so I thought). They came out, did the tune-up and let me know that one of my units was low on/leaking freon and that I should get it repaired before the summer or my unit could break down. I have a newer house, so I wondered how the AC could have a leak, but I also have a home warranty, so I told them I would be filing a claim through the warranty company to get it fixed. Sure enough, the warranty company sent a different HVAC company out to do the repair, and my unit definitely had a leak. Rapid Response saved me a big headache down the road on that one.When I said I thought I bought a Groupon for an AC tune-up, it turns out the Groupon was for an AC AND heating tune-up AND a maintenance contract where all service calls are free for the year. Apparently I dont pay enough attention to what I buy and I never would have known that I was due a fall HVAC check-up had Rapid Response not called me and told me it was time to schedule my fall appointment. I was grateful they kept up with me and followed up for the extra service I was due, or I would have certainly paid someone else to come inspect my HVAC unit for the winter. I was so pleased I purchased a three-year contract for a great price, that I will remember this time. :)

Robert the owner came out to inspect my combo unit. I had low expectations (having just bought a Groupon for routine maintenance), but Roberts professionalism, courtesy and knowledge of the craft was really impressive. We had some difficulty in scheduling an appointment, but he made up for it by adding an additional year to our maintenance contract at no extra charge. Im happy to keep doing business with Robert and RRH&C.

I highly recommend using Rapid Response Heating and Cooling Inc. Friendly guys and fast response. Robert was willing to replace my A/C unit the same day. It was scheduled for Friday at 8:00 a.m. and Allen showed up at 7:59 a.m. with a friendly smile. Right away I felt that he was going to provide a great service, and I wasnt disappointed. After Allen and his helper finished installing the unit, they even went back to vacuumed and removed all debris from the room that went to the attic.I strongly recommend Robert and his team to any one that needs help with their air conditioning units.

Rapid Response was GREAT when I needed them for a service call on a Friday night in the middle of the winter. It was great to find a company who would do a 6pm service call on a Friday night, and their service (taking their shoes off at the front door, shaking my hand, and their professionalism/courtesy) was the best. After some troubleshooting, the fix for my heat took all of about 10 minutes, when other companies couldn’t even get out to my house until Monday. I highly recommend Rapid Response!

After looking at my unit for 5 minutes Robert said it was leaking freon due to a busted pipe and needed to be replaced entirely. Im a single mother and had virtually no way to pay 5k for a brand new unit.When I asked Robert for a quote he said he did not want to give it to me if I was going to look around and get other opinions. I thought that was odd. My father, who was going to help me pay for a new unit, asked for the quote so Robert agreed to give it to me.I ended up getting a second opinion just to be safe. Freon was not leaking. The puddle by my unit was water from a drain pipe nearby. Nothing was broken. All the unit needed was a good washing. Its now running perfectly.Also, Robert placed a piece of my unit that had broken off (some sort of L shaped plastic pipe) INSIDE a vent that had a warning sign explaining it was a fire hazard to put anything near it. As the new repair man pointed out to me- the pipe had been warped from the heat in just one day.Im thankful I got a second opinion. It saved me close to 5 thousand dollars I did NOT have and saved us from a potential fire hazard.Very disappointed in Rapid Response.

After getting back home from a short trip out of town on Memorial Day weekend we walked into a house without AC. It was the Sunday afternoon before Memorial Day and we weren’t sure what to do since it was about 90 out and 2 full days until the typical work week would begin. I gave Rapid Respone a call and left a message. They immediately called me back and tried to help me troubleshoot the issue. The Owner, Robert, took time out of his holiday weekend to talk me through possible issues and even jumped on a video call to help walk me through some things. This was all done at no charge and to simply help instead of me having to spend a couple hundred dollars for a technician to come out. Unfortunately, there were bigger issues and we made the decision to replace the whole unit. However, Robert and his employees gave me the options and let me make the decision. Another employee, Jessie, delivered a portable AC unit for us to use for several days while we were waiting for all the parts and equipment to be order and delivered - they also didn’t charge us for the several days we used the portable AC unit. Jessie was incredibly helpful and ran another diagnostic just to make sure there wasn’t a better alternative to a full replacement. Again, this was all taking place on the Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend. Jessie even delivered the portable AC unit while he had planned to be at a gathering with his family. Overall Rapid Response delivered incredible service and I would recommend them to anyone!This work was out of their Nashville/Brentwood location. I believe Jessie was helping open the Chattanooga location and I would highly recommend any of these locations to anyone needing HVAC services!

Being a new homeowner, I know NOTHING about HVAC repairs. When I woke up this morning, my upstairs AC was not working. I called another AC company and they never even called me back. I called RRHC and they answered the phone right away and had a technician out to my home within 3 hours. It ended up being an easy/small fix and all they charged me for was the visit to diagnose. Highly recommend this company!

So I came home last night from work around 7:00p. Noticed my AC upstairs not blowing out cool air and the temp is 89 degrees. I saw that Rapid Response Heating and Cooling have a lot of recommendations on Nextdoor apps. So I give it a try with hoping the ac will get fix no later than the next day. RRHC dispatch a tech out immediately and identified the problem with the unit (capacitor is out) replace it and got it working. Tech name Mo very professional, friendly and polite. Will definitely use RRHC in the future. If you guys need last minute AC service don’t hesitate to give them a call you won’t be disappointed.

I was introduced to Robert with Rapid Response months ago through a Groupon. He showed up on time, cleaned, checked and warranties both my units for one year even though I didnt realize the Groupon was only for one. When the AC went out last night I called a couple HVAC companies to come out and all of them said it would be days. I then remembered that I had some kind of something with Rapid Response. I went back through my Groupons and found Roberts info. They came out within 2.5 hours of my call. WOW! Mo, the tech was awesome. He spent an hour diagnosing the problem, charged me nothing and shared how happy and grateful he was for his boss Robert. I signed up for another year for $99 which gives me two calls per unit per year. The other company wanted $110 just for the service call. Total scam outfit. My neighbor a new first time home owner called this company from a Groupon. They came out and told him his compressor was bad and they would have to replace it. They asked if he had that much credit available on a credit card - you know the compressor is the heartbeat of the system blah blah blah... After they left I asked what was going on. As a former HVAC tech I told him to let me take a look. I knew the unit had been replace approxbe6 years ago. After grabbing my meter I noticed there was no power to the unit. I then asked if the service tech looked at the breakers inside and he said he never went into the house ....... Really ? So I go in the house and remember he was putting ( or attempting ) putting in a front porch light - I asked , were you flipping breakers yesterday ? He said uh....... Yeah. I find the double pole breaker and flip it on. Amazing tech that I am, the unit came right on working fine. This isnt even bad service from this company it is STEALING and worse this company plays the Christian card in their advertising as they rip folks off for thousands. My neighbor did call them back to discuss the fradulant business practices and was told .......uh yeah .... The unit could hold power after the breaker is turned off so thats why it tested bad hahahaha even more lies. Anyway use someone else unless you just want to replace your unit without any thought to what is wrong with the old one. SHADY for sure.

I was sitting at my house on a Saturday night and I heard an awful screeching noise. I went outside to check it out and found out that it was my HVAC unit.I called Rapid Response first thing Sunday morning and within two hours there was a rep at my house. Unfortunately, my HVAC compressor had locked up, my fan had seized and my unit was leaking Freon. He was able to call his installer and get him scheduled to come out the next day after he was already supposed to be off for the day. His installers showed up on Monday and got the unit installed within about an hour an a half. They were very professional and quick. I have no complaints with any part of the process.I would highly recommend using Rapid Response for any of your HVAC needs.
