All employees were pleasant and professional. Mortician and staff exhibited a compassionate and caring attitude during all interactions with the family.There were a couple of issues with the obituary area of the website, but they were quickly cleared up.

I cant say it was a good experience because actually it was traumatic and upsetting as ****, but they did what they could to make it better. Not really their fault that I wasnt in the mindset to appreciate it more.

My mother was visiting us from out of state when she passed away. Lewis Funeral Chapel made our unbearable experience bearable by handling everything with kindness and compassion. They escorted her to southern Oregon and coordinated the necessary arrangements between the two states and funeral homes. I will always remember their kindness.

Can’t say enough good things about Lewis Funeral Chapel team.Specifically Chris, who was compassionate, kind, understanding, accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful...My first time planning a funeral and while it was a lot to handle, Chris’ professionalism and experience definitely cushioned some of the impact of my fathers unexpected, out of state death.From getting my father flown here, the viewing, payment arrangements, and his ability to give us his undivided attention, we definitely had the best experience I think possible.Never felt pressured to purchase anything, but was offered things that we may not have thought about otherwise, which definitely helped.The office secretary was also very helpful with helping with paperwork for insurance and went above and beyond to offer help after the funeral was over.I would definitely recommend Lewis Funeral Chapel for your funeral (and preplanning) needs.

We were very pleased to have Lewis Chapel work with us. We had to have my mom transported to Minnesota. They made all the arrangement to get her there and we were able to get on the same flight. They worked with the funeral home in Minnesota. It was so nice to have someone so wonderful considering the situation. Thank you very much Lewis Chapel and Stone Chapel.

It didnt matter that we chose the least expensive casket they offered, that was what my dad wanted. Chris was as helpful and engaging and respectful as if we had bought the top of the line with all the extra added services. Chris arranged the meeting with the caretakers at the isolated cemetery at Island Lake, and walked us through everything. I would be happy to have Lewis Funeral Chapel handle my own funeral - which will come soon enough!

Chris and his staff were very comforting and supportive after my Dad passed away. They treated my Dad with dignity and respect as he was transported. I didnt feel pressured into extra services or products. My Dads wishes were carried out. When I have the unfortunate need for this type of service again I would definitely choose this company.

Best place this side of the Mississippi. Mom, dad, husband, little daughter, sister in law and countless friends I love. It’s a family affair. Bake Baker, my dads best friend was the superintendent for years, my husband worked for him at Forest Lawn for 5 years. Lewis Jr sold but it’s still the best.

The people I worked with to arrange for burial of my dear one were so considerate and helpful. It was very comforting at a very stressful time.

Despite the very real challenges of both suffering a loss and being under quarantine, my family was always treated with respect. I was sad that I lost one loved one but relieved that my family was taken care of.

Their services were fast, no delays, very helpful and what we wanted. They were very sensitive to the situation as well. Even when they came to our house for the deceased, they arrived quickly and were very professional and caring. It was a good experience even tho a sad situation.

My wife and I were out of state when my mothers health took a decline. I had check in with the folks at Lewis Funeral Chapel to make sure that all the arrangements had been taken care of prior to our departure, just in case something happened while we were gone. We received a call from the care facility mom was in regarding her decline and headed home. She passed away a few days after our return and the folks at Lewis took care of everything. It is a trying time to lose sometime, regardless of the circumstances, but they provided us with the services and respect I was not prepared for. My thanks and gratitude to the staff at Lewis Funeral Chapel. I can only hope that Im treated with as much respect and dignity when my time comes to require their services.
