Had a major electrical issue with my 08 Hyundai. Windows wouldn’t work, tail lights wouldn’t work, dash lights wouldn’t come on and trunk wouldn’t open. I told him every issue I wanted fixed and was given a diagnosis. When I brought my car back to get fixed it took almost a week to get done and the only thing that was working was the windows. I already told the owner that I have been given the run around by someone else and if he could not fix it just say so so that I don’t waste my time. The owner kept saying he knows what the problem is and he can fix it and ended up charging me hundreds of dollars for something he clearly didn’t know how to fix. I was furious. I ended up going to a mechanic in Meriden that fixed all if the issues and he told me that the mechanic (Command Performance) didn’t know what he was doing and temporarily fused two wires which is why only the windows were working. I would rather the owner had told me he didn’t have experience with the issue I was having instead of taking advantage of me and charging me for something that wasn’t done correctly. Also, when I asked why everything wasn’t fixed, he laughed and said at least one problem is fixed, mind you I was told this after I already paid!!!!!! I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS. UNPROFESSIONAL and SCAMMERS!

Mac sold a junk transmission to me from one of his customers he swore was perfect. After going on a road test the transmission was chattering after his install. Brought someone else for a second opinion, and they said the trans is junk. Clutches are warped.

Awesome guy. Very honest and is a great mechanic. He checked out a car I was looking to buy and ended up finding many hidden issues with it. He immediately picked out the smell of burning oil, through the scent of the straight-piped exhaust and discovered that the transmission was leaking fluid onto the exhaust and was burning off. Decided not to get the car in the end because of the issues he uncovered. Saved me a lot of money. After he was done, he didnt expect us to pay him for his efforts since he didnt do any actual work on the car, even though he thoroughly looked it over and answered my questions for more than an hour. I highly recommend coming here for any work you need done or issues you are having trouble with, as he knows cars inside and out. Many people already rely on him for work on their performance cars, but im sure he can help you with anything else you may need.
