This is probably the best post office that I have ever been to! Tony the manager was incredibly helpful and patient with mailing out my wedding invites and have me multiple options to suite my needs! Between him and another member of the staff, Alicia, they set me on the best path forward and we’re super positive and happy through the process! I’d give them 6/5 stars if I could!

I have been waiting on my security deposit from my prior landlord for over a month. When I reached out to him he tracked the check via certified mail and it indicated my check was sent back to this post office weeks ago. The Post Office made no attempt to contact me or leave any indication they attempted to deliver the check to me. It wasnt until I reached out to them, after my own due diligence to find my mail, that they said they would send it back out for redelivery. My mail comes every day like clock work around 5:30. Today, at 5:30, my dog was in the backyard and started barking at the mail man. I go out to my mailbox and see the USPS driver driving away. When I check my mailbox I was left a wet crumbled redilevery notice. The driver never knocked on my door or made any attempt to deliver my certified letter they only left the notice in my mailbox. To make matters worse the wet notice is so damaged I cannot scan the QR code or read the article number to call the post office and try to redeliver it for another time. The driver also wrote the wrong date. I am now forced to go to this location in person, as indicated on my notice, at 8:30am which will make me late for work in order to get my mail because nobody could do their job.

They informed me that I had to print a label and they can’t . They gave me the location of a place that can print it and that was helpful. When returned they told me I needed to buy tape because it’s a first class and not Priority but my issue was that they could have told me that before I left so I could have just did it at the location were I got the label but trying to make it back before they close so I was on a rush to get back .I understand it’s not a big issue but shouldn’t postal service have free tape or let someone know that we can’t tape it because it’s not a special type of mail . All someone had to do is inform that hey you must tape the label up or you have to buy this 5 dollar tape . The cheaper tape wasn’t available at the time . Biggest issue is lack of communication , I’m sorry that I don’t package items for a living and know all the rules .I feel like we need to donate tape to USPS .

I paid express shipping to get important documents delivered, mail man lies and says nobody was here to give a signature. Doesnt deliver the package i paid express for, even though somebody works from home and was 100% here for signature. Main office was no help at all. I ask if I can get express shipping reimbursed at least and of course I could not. Disappointing to say the least

I’d like to publicly recognize Anna (from passport services) at this location in Brandon for the excellent service she provides! She is understanding, kind, very knowledgeable and efficient! I am very glad she took care of my passport needs and understood my urgency before knowing my grandfather lives abroad and is battling cancer. I wish employees who deals directly with customers were as committed to efficiency and quality of service as Anna is!Thank you!

They offer some services that are not posted like money orders. It’s convenient that they have cards available to purchase too. This location processes passports as well. The lady that helped me was very nice and very informative. Her supervisor was rude and assumed everyone knows their processes and services.

I dropped 3 packages off in the overnight window. 2 got scanned and shipped out. The third package did not get scanned and it looks like I never dropped off the package. Missing package form has been submitted and nothing has been done about it. I have called the location multiple times and no real help given. It is their responsibility to maintain custody of the package and deliver it. If undeliverable, at least give you some information about it. Now, I am out of the money used to replace the missing package and the original package. USPS just lost a customer to the competition.

Always a hit or miss. Sometimes my packages will be delivered like they are supposed to with great service and sometimes my package will never get scanned for tracking and randomly show up to the person’s house one or two weeks unaware when.

Quick service for International Mail!I originally tried shipping with fedex but they told me I needed to fill out an IEE Form online and bring it back to them. I was extremely confused on how to do that and thought maybe I should try usps. I saw a review on here that THIS usps helped with their international shipment. I am shipping to China and it was amazing service. They had the form for me to fill out and told me what I needed to do, very simple. Will be going to this USPS for all my shipping needs now!

I had written a review before but I’m pretty sure it got deleted or something hmmm... I’ve had nothing but terrible service from this post office. My Mail has been damaged, stolen, misplaced and when I try to call customer service or see about the situation in person I’m met with even more terrible service. The customer service number does nothing and basically tells you to go visit in person. The supervisors at this location are horribly rude and unhelpful. I’ve been told multiple times that “nothing can be done” even though I have proof that my Mail was stolen and had it insured :/ I’ve lost a lot of money from damaged goods through this company and location. Would not recommend at all. And I highly do NOT recommend talking to the lady supervisor at this location she is extremely rude.

I don’t know if it’s one mail carrier or multiple of them that are so incompetent about their jobs that they simply can’t or refuse to carry mail to the right houses. Multiple of times throughout the years my mail has been sent to my neighbors houses and there’s to mine. The funny thing is some of the neighbors never return the mail to me. Therefore I’m out of my mail and sometimes a package.

We have lived in Brandon for 15 years. Ive never had an issue mailing my letters or packages. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Packages and letters always received in a timely manner. Line can be a little long depending on when you go but thats true for all post offices. Every postal carrier weve had has been friendly and our mail is always delivered around the same time every day. No complaints here.

Worst customer service ever! I called to find out where my package was I clearly had a note on my door letting the delivery person know that I moved literally right behind the building, walking distance, left my phone number for them to call me But they decided to be lazy and just send my package back. When I called the post office the guy was very rude we ended up yelling at each other back-and-forth on the phone until I hung up so unprofessional. If you don’t like your job then find another one or learn how to have customer service that is not how you run a business

Terrible experiences here. They withhold mail for days claiming that its being processed when I clearly see the tracking shows delivered days ago. This package is perishable good for a wildlife rescue, and Ive had to address this issue with them not once, twice, but 3 times!!!! I will be finding a different service ASAP

This Post office needs to get a proper handle on our delivery route... They change our mail carriers almost as often as people change their underwear.... We have mail that never arrives. Mail that says it is delivered but doesnt show up for days until after we file a complaint. We get our neighbors mail and they get the other neighbors mail. I may need to start charging a mail fee for every time I have delivered mail to a neighbors house or the many times I stood in the post office listening to ridiculous excuses from the management.... I have been told that no one wants to do our area route because it is so large and hard to be accurate with the type of street/ address details. Not one person seems to be able to handle this route. Hire 2 people so that we can get our mail or come up with a better solution.... We run a home business and expect to have our mail delivered properly. We have lived in this house for almost 17 years now... For many years we had a reliable and awesome carrier. When Kim left, so did the service...Please for the love of my sanity, get this Issue resolved! I will add that the carriers they have hired along the way, have all been very nice and friendly people. I just wish we could make sure to keep someone who will commit and stay on this route.

The USPS in Brandon has signs in the lobby asking customers to observe social distancing and to wear masks. I watched a worker (supervisor, no less) step out from behind his plexiglass screen to interact with a customer at a distance of ~3 ft. When it was my turn I asked this worker why he wasn’t wearing a mask. He pointed to the plexiglass and said the CDC doesn’t require masks. I said interesting...I noticed your signs posted to customers, you stepped out from behind the plexiglass to interact with the last customer at a distance of about 3 feet, and the CDC recommends masks. He said, “I’m not worried about getting COVID.” I told him that he’d be protecting his customers by wearing a mask. He just shrugged his shoulders. He was very polite, as was I, but I was very disappointed in his behaviors re COVID prevention.

WORST POST OFFICE EVER! I stayed home from work ALL DAY to await delivery for a signed package. 6:30 PM rolls around, no package. I check the tracking and it says delivery was attempted and no one was home. BIG FAT LIE!! I didnt even get an attempted delivery package slip. I HATE THIS POST OFFICE. They do stuff like this with my packages all the time. SHADY.

Service is a mIxed bag. Some days are fine but the bad ones are beyond belief. I cannot understand why any package delivered has to have at least one crushed corner, gouge marks, sides pushed in, etc. The latest practice is to put my mail on top of a package delivered, which is a nice gesture, except it frequently is bundled with too small rubber bands, which bends letters and cards and puts tears in magazine covers. I frequently get mail and packages for other neighbors and vice versa, so we just redeliver them to each other. I get the emails that show letters coming that day and the post office was never able to locate a refund check issued to an estate. The check was not taken from my mailbox, as I was home the day the mail was delivered and immediately retrieved it from the box and the item has never been found in months. I discussed with the postal delivery person on a Saturday, who acted like this was no big deal. People are human was OK with her. You can get someone to answer the phone eventually if you let it ring about 5 minutes, hang up and call over and over until someone picks it up. When they do answer the phone, they are always helpful and the service has been great. There are some good carriers on certain days, but the bad ones cancel out their work. Sounds like there is worker dissatisfaction, which gets expressed in their work and customers suffer for it.

This review is for USPS location for Brandon and the person who handles passport appointments. The worker is rude and incredibly unknowledgeable about the process.When you have any questions about a passport, youre told to make an appointment. I had made an appointment for my stolen passport days later. Cant be the same day even if worker is not booked up.Days later, during my appointment time, I was told that I needed to step aside during my appointment while my worker helped other people who just walked in the door because a line was forming. There were other workers there so I didnt understand why the one person that could work with passports had to have appointment only and they had to work the walk ins for mail service as well during my appointment time. I had to return to work so making me wait for an hour was very frustrating. The worker who handles passports also failed to mention that I was missing a form and it caused huge delays in the passport process and I am worried I wont get my passport in time to leave for my trip. The worker was rude and not at all knowledgeable about the password process and caused additional time and money for me to get back to work and to expedite the passport process.

For the second time, we put a hold on our mail delivery while out of town. Each time we chose the option to pick up the held mail at the post office when we returned. Each time I received confirmation that the mail will be held at the post office. Each time this has NOT been done. This morning I drove to the post office...no mail. The counter person called the carrier, who said the mail had been delivered. When I explained this was the second time this has happened, the employee said that must be frustrating. When I asked what he was going to do about it, he looked at me surprised and said, what do you want me to do about it? I asked to see the supervisor. it was him! No concern about not doing the job right,fixing the problem, or letting three weeks of mail languish in my mailbox!

I am very angry with this post office I mailed a package for our 2 year old granddaughter 10 days ago the receipt stated it was to be delivered on 4/18/19, it arrived at the post office today but stated it won’t be delivered until Monday , this is my granddaughters easter basket , to top it off you want more money for them to pick up the late package today.You are the ones who are late , my daughter picking it up saves you from having to deliver it.If you missed the delivery you would have given the option for free pickup .Now my innocent 2 year old granddaughter gets to suffer due to your greed and negligence. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

They hung up on me mid sentence and then took the phone off the hook so I couldn’t call back, when I was just trying to figure out how I could get my package that was being returned to sender. Every ounce of me wanted to drive to the post office and punch the person that answered the phone in the teeth.

It took this post office three days to send a package from Brandon to Tampa , a distance of under 20 miles. I checked for blizzards or hurricanes that could explain this , but to no avail. This bunch richly deserve their miserable rating, so perhaps a change of management at this place is called for followed by a swift kick up the a-- to the staff

Horrible service especially the old crabby I hate my life person named Gloria I accidentally used priority tape as it was there she refused to offer help just yelled he cant ship that. than she states we will not give clear tape but you can pay for some when all I needed was 2 pieces to hold down their stupid label then I found clear tape she tells me I have to give it to her and still refuses to give me just a picec USPS SUCKS NO WONDER WHY FEDEX IS WHO EVERYONE USES!!!! I really hope someone reads this. I just came to return a package from amazon with the sealable envelope and because the paper that goes on top for delivery wasnt taped the guy said they didnt offer free tape and I had to but the tape and when I mean tape is just maybe a piece of tape the size of my hand. Thats all I needed... I am not paying you 3 dollars for a clear tape just to use the size of my hand... USPS is clearly charging every day more and the customer service is on the floor. Horrible people. Omg! I feel so frustrated. Yes! Its 3 dollars only, but the fact that you wouldnt spare a little piece of clear tape for a customer makes it impossible for me to want to spend 3 dollars on a whole tape. Screw you USPS!

Conveniently located off of Bloomingdale Ave. Not open on Saturdays unlike the other ones in the area. The Chute at this location like the others always tend to get jammed especially on the weekends (very annoying) when youre trying to drop off mail. They probably do the best they can with the limited power that they have. Besides the post office and Vine and Stein, Big lots Its about the only thing this shopping plaza has to offer. There are quite a few vacated suites. From my understanding, building management/owners charge way too much for rent and then never want to fix anything.USPS has Very friendly, acknowledgable staff. Shop is always very clean.

They are extremely unprofessional. I called 3 times on friday because I was told by the supervisor himself that they close on saturdays which is also a lie. I was suppose to receive my package on Oct 24th and at no time they told me that my address was cut off or incomplete which its a lie because I can physically see that I put my entire address when I ordered the item. So another lie. On top of the I just got done speaking to that same supervisor and no one looked into seeing if there was a reason I havent received my package. All of them just relaid on the post office delivery guy to give me my package. But of course they had no idea what I was talking about either. Now I have to wait even longer for something that could of been fixed the first 3 times I called. The supervisor hung the phone on me while I was speaking and kept speaking over me while I was speaking. He should be fired! Im on top of all my packages and the least they can do since they get paid to handle people packages Is to be on top of it as well.

I stopped my mail for a week while I was out of town. When I returned, there was mail in the mailbox probably since Tuesday (the ads come on Tuesday) then the remainder of the mail was delivered on Sat. without the stop mail notice. I printed it out, so I KNOW the mail was not supposed to be delivered from May 5-12 and restart on May 13th. Whats up with that?Also, in March I sent a very small package to my son in Indiana. He received a notice that there was postage due. He went to the post office several days before the expiration date and was informed that the package had been returned. This is May 14th and I still have not received the package. Im thinking the US postal service is terribly inefficient.

Dropped a box w/ $400 item enclosed. Told to place on the counter as it was already pre-paid. Following direction, I left the package. This was on a Saturday afternoon. Fast Forward to Tuesday AM, the package hadnt even shown being scanned. I came to this website to obtain the phone number to call. I called at 7am seeing that I wanted to connect with someone before having to start the day and get the kids ready for school. I explained the situation to the woman who answered the phone...super rude woman. I stated my situation to her....but rather than show any type of concern, she immediately twisted to ask how I got their phone number as it was an emergency line and they were closed at that time. How freakin lazy can you get? Closed, however could at least maybe look into it. I told her that this was an emergency as they had a 15x15x15 box that couldnt be found. This call ended with a hang-up due to the fact that they were closed. This is why people go to Fed Ex and UPS. The incompetence of these postal employees is disgusting. I will be going there in person to look into this as I know there are cameras recording......and if I have to call the law to meet me there to look at video, I will do so.

It took this post office one and a half months to change my mailbox key that I paid $35 for and then I even had to call them and remind them to change the lock terrible customer service extremely slow they do not care about anyone receiving their mail needs New Management as you can see all the other reviews explain as well how terrible but you do not see anyone going in there and trying to fix or solve the problem and see why this post office is acting on accordingly compared to other offices
