I have had many repairs at Manatee Motorworks, everything from an entire AC replacement to light body repair, head light replacement and many other various repairs. Every time, I had an excellent experience and excellent outcome. Timely work, talented mechanics, knowledgeable assessments make for a good experience for both me and my ‘09 Highlander. I highly recommend this team.

I can’t say I wasn’t warned. I read the reviews and thought I could get past what others reported by being positive and making sure we had good communications. I just wanted good mechanical advice. Nope. Susan, in the office was quite pleasant. Shannon, on the phone offered me good advice before I arrived however we did not meet. Bill, the owner (evidently) is impossible. To say he is “rough around the edges” is way too kind. I found this person to be rude, mean and absolutely impossible to get along with. Not only was I treated rudely, I was insulted and spoken down to. I really thought I was prepared for this. Don’t give this place the benefit of doubt. There is no reason to subject yourself to abuse in order to get some help with a broken down car.By the way, Bill is now making stuff up on his response. Unbelievable.

Was visiting Bradenton, and had an under engine shield break, and it was dragging on the ground.. The owner Bill graciously worked me in the same day. They were very friendly and professional, and explained what parts and repair would cost.If I lived here I would definitely use them for repairs and service ! It is the kind of place you hope to find and depend on.....

I tried to give zero stars.Like other reviewers here, I found the owner beyond rude and condescending, I was also sworn at.I made an appointment to get my car on the alignment rack, at 8 AM. Later that day the owner called me and told me the rack was being used by his most important customer, himself. Thats when he cursed at me. I have never experienced customer service like this. Ive often been ripped off at a car repair place, but at least they are usually very nice about it.Would not recommend. I can only hope I got him on a very bad day. I hope the poor man is not like this all the time.

Wanted a/c work done . Price was extremely high. Did not use him.

Although Bill the Mechanic is a little rough around the edges, I was pleased with the diagnosis and repair for my 77 MGB. He thoroughly explained what was wrong (carburetor adjustment and spark plug gap re-setting) to get the engine running smoothly and idling correctly. Thanks again.

If I didn’t have the privilege of taking my car to this insanely reliable shop, I’d be lost! Everyone is nothing but friendly and helpful. As a 20 year old girl with an older Mercedes, I’m so fortunate to have guys like Bill and Shannon to work on my car. Whether it’s a huge issue or some TLC, Manatee Motor Werks never disappoints. 10/10 RECOMMENDED!

I’ve been bringing my cars to Bill since moving to Bradenton 5 years ago. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, honest and reliable. Now our daughter takes he car there as well! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

08 Toyota Highlander with AC not cooling. Bill clearly and quickly explained what was wrong and the cost. He replaced the evaporator which required removing the dash and everything from the floor to the windshield! The job was completed by the promised time. We closely inspected the dash and seams between parts and they look perfect. One month later, all is working great, the air blows super cold. We are very pleased with the professionalism and expertise at Manatee Motorwerks. Also, a meticulously clean and organized shop and friendly customer service from Bill, Susan, and Shannon! If I could give them more than five stars, I would.

Bill has worked on my cars multiple times and he is the most person in this business. Trust your cars to these guys and you wont be disappointed.

$13 in parts and $165 in labor. 1 hour of work. Problem not resolved.
