STAY AWAYThese people will do a quick fix that will be falling apart within weeks! It took longer to fix the car than that! They said I would have it back within the week and it was a whole month before I had it again! Although we only needed minor repairs to the bumper, Lakewood Auto Collision was professional, kept the estimated time frame and did a first rate repair. They took care of arranging a rental and handled the billing directly with the insurance. Overall they made an annoying situation a breeze to deal with.

My grill came loose so I took it Lakewood Auto Collision for repair, It was an easy fix and they did it free of charge. I tried to pay them something but they said they would prefer that I come back as a customer and recommend them to my friends. So I am doing that. I received service here almost a year ago, and I had to come back and leave a review! The insurance company did not want to expense the proper job, but Lakewood Auto got the job done! And the shop will only use quality parts (like OEM) as they are certified with so many companies. The process was smooth from the rental car to the moment I got my car back. Lakewood auto messed up my wifes car so bad I had to take it to another shop to fix their poor excuse for completed work. They asked for a chance to correct it but, I have no idea how they let the car off their lot looking how it did. It should have been done right the first time. Go to GT graphics, they did it right the first time.

This is a well run shop with about 15 to 20 bays and I was completely satisfied with the bodywork they did to my Maserati.On the way home I had caught a flat tire, came back and they were nice enough to get the spare put on so that I can get back on the road.I dealt with Matt and he offered excellent customer service

My 2015 Audi A3 was rear-ended and Lakewood Auto did a great job of repairing the damage to the rear end. The paint matches perfectly and I cant even tell that the car was ever damaged. The work took about 20 days because of the holidays but I really didnt mind because of the attention to detail and the friendly service. Lisa was courteous, informative and made sure that I was updated regularly on the status of my vehicle. They use a third party website that keeps you up to date on your vehicle and they use calls and texts to keep you in the loop on repairs. Honestly I cant recommend them enough.

Absolutely Phenomenal. Lakewood Auto Collision sets the bar for transparency of service and customer care. Lisa was very available for any question I had along the way and the entire team provided and impeccable level of service. When I went to drop my car off, there was a rental agent waiting for me and when I got back, not only was the damage a thing of the past but my car was show room clean! All things considered I wouldnt want to take it anywhere else.

We took our Acura NSX to Lakewood Auto Collision and were extremely disappointed not once but twice. The first attempt at the repair (which was taking out a small dent and repainting the drivers door) was extremely poor and we gave them an opportunity to fix their workmanship. The second attempt was insulting. The car looked worse than when it went in. There was orange peeling, over spray and sanding scratches on the vehicle and there was spider webbing on the whole vehicle due to improper washing. The engine area came back with dust from the sanding process that wasn’t even cleaned out. The initial repair took over 2 weeks to complete for a job that should have taken 2/3 days tops with nothing but excuses as to why it wasn’t completed. The car went back for an additional 2 days for their attempted fix on the car. My husband called the owner Paul today and he refused to take blame or responsibility for any of the issues. This ended up costing us out of pocket almost $600 for a reputable company to fix the damage they caused. This is inexcusable and we could never recommend this place of business to anyone and think everyone should be aware of the way they conduct business. Their motto is “we will make it right”... they didn’t! Buyer beware...

A few months ago we were driving along and the engine shield on our 2015 Sonata dropped and was hitting the ground. LR Collision put it up on the lift, inspected it, called me over telling me we had to have hit something or went off the pavement curb or whatever and there was extensive undercarrage damage. I was told the front radiator support was moved or shifted to the side and the transmission mount shifted with likely frame damage! They would need to take it apart, take measurements... to see the full extent of frame damage. I have a lot of auto repair experience. I looked at it and questioned it. He assured me he had 25 years experience and was right on target with his diagnosis. I took it to Hyundai who replaced the shields, did an alignment and said all else was fine. Because the Sonata was low this wasnt an uncommon occurrence. Either incompetent or a crook was my diagnosis.

At first look my car looked good. It was a simple repair just a rear plastic bumper and trunk lid. After going back home and taking a closer look I noticed the paint color does not match and there is some paint spray on other parts of my car and the lid doesnt shut properly and some of the trim is ripped.

I cant recommend this place to a friend or a stranger. The customer service was almost there but it was sparce. Communication was horrible. They told me it would be done the 4th of March multiple times. I call an hour before they close on the 4th because I had heard nothing and she says it wont be done till the 6th of March, theyre still painting. So they call me an hour before they close on the 6th to tell me the car is done. I tell them theres no way I can make it there in an hour before they close. John says its no problem and asks me if I can come in tomorrow and we schedule my pick up for 10am. I show up at 10am to pick up my Tesla and nobody is there. Gates are locked, theyre closed.... After sending messages to everyone I could at the company, leaving voice mails, sending emails I got no response. So I wait two days for them to open again and I picked up my car this morning. I never received a follow up call or an email back. Nobody said anything although I got a few scared stares when I walked in.One of the two owners Mark Cahill read my message but never responded to me.My car isnt even complete. They missed damage that they had gone over with me and said they could fix. My driver seat leather is all scratched up from a tool or something I have no idea. Im taking it somewhere else to get it finished.Unfortunate.

Horrible Experience. I was in an accident with my truck and it was towed to Lakewood Auto Collision by my insurance, not by my choice. i told my insurance company that i wanted another Garage to do the work on my truck from the beginning. The damage to my truck was all in the front. Lakewood Auto tore the front end apart with absolutely no authorization from me. They called me and wanted me to sign an authorization form and I refused. Come to find out they had already started taking it apart. When it was taken to another Garage they had lost all the parts they had taken off. Their incompetence cost me my vehicle for 2 months. The cost for fixing my vehicle was double because they touched my vehicle without permission.I believe they have an arrangement with my insurance company to do sub par repairs to save money. I think they should be investigated.

Lakewood Auto Collision did a outstanding job making sure our vehicle was in perfect condition after the accident. They have great staff who are informative through out the process, keeping us informed every step of the way. End result is a vehicle that the untrained eye cannot tell was in an accident. I waited a couple months after to write this review and still not a single complaint on the workmanship. As I know they will continue with this level of workmanship and attention to detail you will not go wrong choosing them.

I usually dont dwell on negative situations or people. I am leaving my feedback because I feel so wronged by Lakewood auto Collision , that I havent been able to let it go. I thought everything was going well communicating with Matt on the updates with my car. Even when he told me, that because they use a salvage yard that sends damaged parts all the time. And the repair was going to take longer than originally quoted to me. I still felt assured by Matt, that this has been happening a lot and hell make sure everything is done right and I would be taken care of. I expressed to him that I was worried about the rental car (provided by my insurance company, to a limited cost) would not be covered for the extended repair period. He reassured me that he had my back, and all the parties involved are aware of the situation. Even though they had this happen to many people. They did not have my back. I got stuck with an extra $300 rental expense. Conveniently they have a contract you sign upfront, that states they are not responsible for any rental car cost, so they hide behind their contract and avoid accountibility for all these situations. I wish I was still driving around my baged up car and regret the entire experience .

GREAT customer service! Kept me informed of each step of the process, both by phone and by email. Quick turnaround, and great work. Apparently, some people had problems with customer service, but I have had nothing but good experiences with them. Sometimes, the customer is the problem. I was really worried, since I drive a LOT for work, and more time on the road increases the chance of being in a collision. State Farm always wanted to send me to Sunset Chevrolet for repair work (Ive only had one accident in my life that was my fault), but I wouldnt trust those people to repair a Matchbox car. Very thankful to have met Lakewood Collision. They are definitely my go-to repair shop from now on!

I have had my Audi A7 repaired at this facility twice. I am as picky as picky can be when it comes to my car. Paul the owner was on top of all repairs and went above and beyond to make sure the car was perfect. I would not take my car anywhere else.

Customer service could have been better. They kinda acted like they didnt see me. An acknowledgment would have been nice to let me know they would be with me shortly so I wasnt just standing there wondering if they saw me or if they were helping someone else. Also, the communication between employees didnt seem to be too good. A guy was helping me initially and he had my keys, with a small keychain. The next day a lady helped me. I noticed my keychain was missing. When I asked her about it, she insisted that this is how they got the keys and that they dont remove anything. The keychain was in the middle console of my car. Someone clearly removed it from the keys and put it there. While not a big deal, it was frustrating how the lady tried to tell me one thing when she had no idea.

I DO NOT recommend this shoopDont go there, after close inspection of my card I found they used damage parts and wrong parts that flap all over.There is no quality control, and customer service is a joke!They stared on my car 4 or 5 days after they said they would and when I pick the car up they walk me true very fast, when I wash the car to my surprise there was loose parts under the car because they were the wrong parts and after a close inspection you can notice all the flows inthe work they did . . . i had to keep on telling him this is bad needs replacing that is the wrong part the lights need adjusting

If you dont look really good, you will be taking damage junk yard parts in your car and parts that dont fit because are the wrong ones.As far as customer service goes , dont expect a call back! !They have an excuse for every thing.I will NOT recommend this shop.Go some place where the employees care about the work they do and dont install bad junk yard parts in your new car

I would not recommend this place. Very high cost and very bad attitude and very rude. Told me a bunch of lies and tried charging storage when they cant until after 3 days after giving notice. Just would not recommend. People with insurance probably dont have issue cause dont deal with them and dont have to pay bill. Tried saying car was totalled and not worth fixing then wanted to buy the car for nothing then when sent someone to pick up car they wouldnt let him get it and told him to leave without even giving a chance to have anything done that day just so they can try and charge another day storage. Im in auto business and they were very rude and was just mad cause wouldnt basically sign car over for bogus charges when another shop repaired no problem and said they were just trying to screw me over.

Got an estimate for an accident that was not my fault , the other ins. Will pay for anyways, but also I got them to give me an estimate for another damage on the same car to see if I can fix it all at once . The guy wrote me up for $ 485.00 on the old damage which Im responsible to pay for . He told me that it should even be more than that, but hes giving me a lot of discount since Im using them to fix the accident damage paid by the other ins.I really did not like that so went to cox Chevy in Bradenton , and they were much cheaper than them with out even any discounts ! The accident fix is about $ 700 cheaper! . More importantly , to fix the old damage that I had before the accident was $ 400 . Really disappointed.

Never take a vehicle you prize here. Worst experience in 50 years of classic muscle car ownership.6-7 weeks grew to over 8 months with no change in work order.Ground down perfect rear louver anchors, and then put in oversized screws sticking out of the base hinge.Painted the car the wrong color, then tried to blame it on me, then had to blend a closer color into the front end of the car…still does not match.Scuffed up the cowling and never fixed it.Drove the car thru deep mud at some point and left it on brand new tires that are now permanently stained.In painting the louvers, took out all the grain even though they said that would not happen, and also left the edges of the louvers unpainted.And to top it all off, they charged me twice as much as the insurance company, even though 80% of the work was insured (I added trunk lid and fender caps to the repaint job, which was the roof and both rear fenders).

Brought in my 2005 Toyota Highlander to be painted and came back looking like it just came off the showroom floor. Thank you Lakewood Auto Collision.

Was going to use Lakewood auto but after a second thought decided not to.The manager Victor has a bad attitude after meeting him for a simple estimate he was very rude and put off by my questions.I cant speak for their work but Victor needs to be moved out of customer service as he was condescending and abrasive for no reason.After reviewing them online I seen people who were not happy with Victor as well.Although the owner was nice and apologized,I would recommend dealing with the owner.
