Went to them for a car estimate after a wreck. Estimator was incredibly rude and unprofessional on three separate occasions to my husband, my mother in law, and myself. I literally have not once ever left a negative review for a business but he made me cry just from his condescension and general unkind demeanor. Would not recommend. .

There was a little misunderstanding in the beginning but it was all taken care of to my satisfaction Dave was my service agent and took very good care of me four brand new tires alignment and oil change truck is running fantastic smoothest ride I had since I bought it. Waiting areas very spacious and has very comfortable seats everyone was good been going there since 2013 I was at Gettel service center

I was there for routine maintenance. Chris was very helpful and explained in detail what was needed to be done without breaking the bank.

Estimators do not listen to you and are fairly rude.

Fixing my tire and suspension took a month to fix. It would be nice if toyota offer a loaner not only for mechanical issues but also for body work especially if the work is being delayed due to parts. Their prices are overpriced anyways might as well accommodate their customers. Won’t be back in this shop anymore. At least lakewood gettel offered me a loaner when i brought my car there but since that lakewood toyota doesn’t have body/collision center my insurance decided to transfer it here. If lakewood was willing to help me out, it would be nice if this toyota would too but I guess not toyota are all the same...

We worked with David at the Collision Center. He was extremely helpful and understanding. David went above and beyond to ensure we had our truck before the projected date/time. We definitely recommend this body shop to anyone!

Love this service center. I have been bringing my Tacoma here for years.

Had to stand around for for 10+ minutes as there was no one at the reception desk. Several staff walked past me without acknowledging me. I finally stuck my head in an office and asked David R to assist me. Despite the fact that I had made an appointment, I was told that my insurance (Progressive) does their own estimates. (My claims rep told ME to get the estimate.) David R was happy to assist, and prepared a detailed estimate for me. If it werent for his professional attitude, I would not return...

I guarantee you will be taken care of here. Dropped my car off and Grant took care of everything. I had a terrible experience with the insurance company but Gettel made up for it! My car looks fantastic and Im a very happy camper!

After a car accident I used the Gettel Toyota of Bradenton Collision center. Erik Erickson and the team went above and beyond for me and my 4Runner came out looking and working as good as new! Took car in to get an estimate. Albeit, the welcome was not up to my standards, as nobody said hello as I walked in, and another customer felt the same as I heard her complain about this. I think it is a Sarasota thing as I get this often in the area. People just dont say hello...whatever, Ill get over it. Stacy was friendly and nice. I was introduced to Dave, who is a jolly good fellow. They were prompt with an estimate, and fair. David supplied me with written estimates and did not pressure me. I left and went to get two other estimates. After visiting two other places, I received around the same quote, I took the vehicle back to this location. I approved the work. Three days later I got a call from Stacy stating my car was ready. Very nice and warm person. I returned and before closing my balance I inspected the work. I always recommend this. Also, read everything and understand it before you sign it. Anyways, I noticed micro scratches under the clear coat and reported it to Dave. He took the car back in and had it repaired properly. 3 more days later I had a car that one would never know was damaged. Very good work and communication. I will be back with my other vehicle to remove some dents. I recommend this collision center as it is in a safe area, they are willing to work with you and they have great coffee. Try it as you enter.

It was my first accident and was a little skeptical on the repair process. Not only did they keep me updated they had amazing customer service. I highly recommend them for any of your repair needs!!

I’ve never been to a body shop like Gettel Collision. Having four accidents in the past year I dropped the 2017 vehicle off drove home in a rental it was made new again and detailed perfectly. I would recommend Gettel Collision Center for their workmanship, dependability and thoroughness from everyone I’ve talked to there on the phone and at the facility. The receptionist is outstanding like all the people who work at Gettel Collision this may be the best body shop I’ve been to. The bodywork is perfect every time.

Approximately 4 years ago had Gettel body shop do work on my car they matched paint color perfectly. Hence 2 stars .The over spray is still there ! Had to take car back 3 times to get a simple dent removed. Never done correctly just gave up. Might have been cheaper to buy a new quarter panel and spray it .At least then there wouldnt have been over spray all over the roof an trunk deck. Incidentally it scraps off windows with a razor Gettel !

Stacy is amazing! She made us feel welcome and put us at ease. Good shop. They get stuff done fast. Stacy kept us updated the entire time.

This place is horrible. They have no customer service. When I walked in the receptionist was not welcoming at all. Then when the service guy came to look at the damage on my car he gave me no respect. He didn’t get close to the car or even touch it and he tried to tell me all this damage I had under the hood. I would not trust this place and I will not be going back.

Did a great job on the body repair of my Elantra. Car looks like when I bought it. They are extremely busy but worth the wait.

If I could give a zero star, I would. DO NOT take your car to this place, they DO NOT use genuine Toyota parts. You would think they are the dealership, they would get the genuine Toyota parts cheaper, but they wont. Theyll replace w/ any aftermarket item that is cheaper so they can maximize $ to their pocket. I have so much regret now. First, I would never come back to buy any car from them and now, I would never come back for any type of repair/collision service.

The guy that looked at my car acted like he didnt care. Even though I practically had to demand that he clips in it that hold your fendor up. So then I took it to my Toyota dealership. Where they fixed the problem for me. Thank you Jerry at Lakewood Gettel Toyota.

My daughters brand new Hyundai Kona got rear ended and so we needed bodywork done on her car. I figured that we bought her car at gettel Hyundai so let’s stick with gettel. We have bought 6 vehicles from them so we are loyal gettel people. Very saddened by how her car turned out. When she picked it up, no one walked her out showed her the car she got in drove home. I took one look at it and was mortified it looked like they put another cars hatch on her car the color didn’t match and it was noticeable so I called and took it back in. Does anyone look over these cars before they go out? Everyone that saw it was shocked that they let it come out of there shop looking the way it did. So we Just went to pick up the car second time I went with her this time, secretary took rental car key handed her key and said car is either over there or back there ok? So no one walked us out it was backed up to a fence so she had to pull up so I could see it everything looked ok. But the customer service was rotten. Felt like more of a bother, needless to say wether we buy from gettel or not I do not recommend the collision center at all.

I bought a new car it had a scratch on it (that they had put on it ). They fixed it . it was not acceptable. . I told them Im not excepting this. one man tried to tell me it wasnt there. Then he said its just dirt and tried to rub it off. He tried to belittle me cause I was a woman. I found another man and he fixed my the smudge.. Now it looks fine. BUT REALLY CHECK YOUR PAINT JOB....IM TRULEY DISAPPOINTED THAT SOME SHORT FAT MAN WITH A BAD DISRESPECT FOR WOMEN IS WORKING AT GETTEL.I had a great experience purchasing my car , but service could ruin getting the rest of my business... Two words: NEVER AGAIN. This facility royally SUCKS. I went to the Gettel Collision Center in Bradenton, FL to have my right front fender repaired. They gave me back my car after 5 days (AND after the manager said he didnt like how the original work performed looked) with an obvious paint drip mark on the fender as well as rough edges on the fender that did not properly line up. Just a horrendous job. A High School Auto Body class would do a better job than this debacle. When I confronted the manager (Eric Erickson) he wouldnt admit, even after closely inspecting the areas in question, that the job was performed not just poorly, but ridiculously BAD. I was not happy and asked for $817.91 which I paid to these knuckleheads to be refunded back to my Credit card. I have received nothing but silence. I advised USAA to never allow this shop to work on another USAA customers car. I hope this review convinces others outside of USAA customers from even considering these BOZOS and their Collision Center to repair your carss damage. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. SAVE YOURSELF WASTED MONEY AND AGGRAVATION.
