Jason called to advise he was able to come earlier than scheduled, which was appreciated. When he arrived, he was very professional and friendly. He completed his tasks quickly and made recommendations to better improve our system. He explained those recommendations so I could understand and pass them on later to my husband. We have had a maintenance contract with Gator Air since purchasing our home 8 years ago and find the company and technicians to be reliable and efficient. Our system died the other day and Dominic E. was very thorough in explaining our options and pricing terms. Andy H. and Mike P. , our installers, were efficient and careful with the bushes surrounding the outside unit when they removed/replaced the equipment. They did a great job of keeping us informed of progress and explaining the equipment features and how to set the thermostat properly. Cedric W., another technician who has worked on our system, is also reliable and thorough. We confidently will continue to do business with Gator.

I used their services for annual maintenance. The technician who came out recommended excessive and expensive solution to air quality concerns and, in order to inspect our unit, he cut a large hole in the foam board attached to our garage unit then taped it back over, without asking or consulting with us first. I let it slide but then speaking with the company a few months later with a question, they said oh yeah he shouldnt have done that, he doesnt work for us anymore.

Great staff. Attentive, knowledgeable, and responsive. I dont know if they are the best value, but when it comes to my A/C in Florida, I am not looking for lowest cost. These guys win on service and responsiveness.

I recently bought a condo with a Gator AC unit, after getting settled I called to get set up on the maintenance plan. Jason was very professional and polite. He explained the minor issues I currently have and explained that I have time to deal with them. It was really helpful in that I can plan ahead for whats needed and not panic about it now.

Horrible service. I called to request an estimate to replace my entire AC system. The appointment was set for Monday between 12-2.Gator AC called to cancel my first appointment and rescheduled it for Tuesday. On Tuesday the service guy was a no show. I called on Wednesday to ask what happened, and the appointment maker didnt even know the service guy didnt show up. Needless to say I will take my business elsewhere.

Dealing with Gator Air was a pleasure. They have a 24 hour answering service and when I called at 8:30 PM, a technician called me back within 10 minutes. The Scheduling person from Gator Air the next day was also highly responsive and professional. When the Gator Air Technician, Luis Munoz, arrived we couldnt ask for anyone better. Luis was very knowledgeable and professional. He diagnoses the problem with our A/C unit and repaired it quickly. He then reviewed the companys maintenance contract, explained everything that is covered, and offered it to us at a very reasonable rate. Finally, he explained why mold was building up in our outdoor compressor, and offered a mold retardant feature at a very reasonable price. We agreed to sign up as a maintenance customer and are considering the mold retardant as well. Luis was terrific! Gator Air was terrific! We would highly recommend them.

Professional and friendly. Wore a mask and shoe coverings inside the house. Went to work immediately and completely in a reasonable amount of time. Suggested three things to be done in addition to maintenance service - I accepted one and said I would consider the others. However, he forgot to give me the Friends and Family discount that I get with additional services.

Grey arrived and after asking what was going on started checking it out. His diagnose was a valve that was replaced apx. 6 months ago was stuck...again. He was very polite and explained everything to husband and myself so we could understand what had happen. He was very patient with us and answered all our silly questions. The 5 stars is for the maintenance service done today. A previous tech had done an incomplete service and didnt leave any documentation of what he had done. Brad did a complete check of the system and provided a worksheet to document what he did today. He helped restore my confidence in this company and I appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail.I would also like to commend Jessie in the office who was great at following up on issues and who coordinated this appointment.

We bought a new air conditioner less than 2 years ago and it quit working at 330 am a technician came and said s circuit board had failed and would need to be replaced.The problem was needing to be replaced and ordered. When calling the next day we were told that it wouldnt be told they would get back to me and my husband called on his lunch and got a rude response We have a our brother/brother in law who has had a stroke and major medical problems, and being in 90 to 100 degree heat is hindering his health.We asked to speak to a manager and was told hes not in now. Of course we are aware that we are not the only customer that needs services, a response with a show of decency would be nice

Quoted $1,089 on a TXV expansion valve and would not answer questions about the cost of the part. They installed the unit in 2013 and we are owners as of 2019. Could’ve had all maintenance and future business if they would’ve offered a reasonable price. But they instead tried to gouge us. Offered less, but hours later and after set appointment with Air & Heat. Got the job done for $670 with Air & Heat of Bradenton. The part cost $243, which they get from the same supplier as Gator. Best advice- SHOP AROUND!! It saved us $419 by NOT using Gator.

As an engineer, I did my due diligence and collected 4 competitive quotes to replace my 11 year old heat pump and air handler. Among them Gator out bid the others by a substantial margin in my favor, and with a higher SEER system than the others. While cost was a main consideration, their presentation and conduct also placed them at the top, though all of the quotes did very well in this regard. The also loaned me 2 room coolers at no extra charge to cover the 1 day wait.The job was done 2 days later, in 1 day as promised. I was particularly impressed by the quality and neatness of the installing crew. This has definitely been a 5/5 experience for me … not often see such nowadays.Their financing option was a little confusing, so I opted to outright buy the new system for another 3% discount. Im a happy customer and will not hesitate to recommend them.

My experience with gator was okay. The technician was very nice and service was fine but my god talk about price gouging!!They wanted more then 3k just to clean the interior fan which had alot of dust buildup lol. Yeah right. I cant say I will reccomend this company to anyone..what a joke

Our experience with Gator Air was wonderful! They accommodated our schedule, and we appreciated the email and phone communication about who our technician will be and when he would be arriving. There was absolutely no pressure and he was really honest about what is necessary and the benefits of each service. So glad we partnered with them!

Avoid this company. They installed new units at our condo complex last year , Harbourside in South Pasadena and now refuse to do any service including warranty work. Took advantage of getting new installs on many units and now run away from obligations. You have been warned!

Roy was quick and efficent. After checking all the breakers I gave them a call. They were here in 30 minutes and replaced what was needed all within a hour. I couldnt of asked for a better late night AC service. Roy explained everything and had great customer service. Thank you for all your help!

Very Good Company 100% stood up for their work. Had to deal with them for just 48 Hours and they came through all employees of Gator. There was an accident by one of their Technicians which lead to over heating of the Compressor on my bigger unit. It shorted Out in was a Human Error. Gator stepped up and replaced all the parts FREE of charge. Brought me Two inside units for the night. It was fixed by the next Afternoon. Thank God it was 93* outside and 84* inside. Hats off for a stand up Company. Called and spoke two Owner Jimmy and told him I was Satisfied 100%.

Our Go-To for AC service in Sarasota. This company went above and beyond for us. Our AC went out at 9 p.m. on a Sunday. Jeff came right out and got it working again so that we could sleep. He noted that there was a leak that would need to be addressed when the sun was out. Within 36 hours a leak test was done. Gator provided us with three options, ranging from fixing the leak to providing a whole new unit. Because of the age of the unit and location of the leak, we opted for a new unit. Gator came in and provided us with a mobile/temporary AC unit to help us get by in the meantime. By Friday (same week as our Sunday emergency call), a a whole new unit was professionally installed. The installers were professional and did great work. They worked for 11+ hours in 93 degree heat to finish the job before going home. They won a customer for life.
