My husband and I hired this company to install 4 ductless air conditioning units in our home. We spent$ 24,000 with this company. The units were installed incorrectly and caused $7500 in damages. The owner refused to return my phone calls and left us with a $7500 repair and damage bill. BUYER BEWARE.

Called multiple times about repairing a heating issue or getting a part so we could fix it ourselves. Every time we called we got a Oh we are on it, we will call you back ASAP! 4 calls later we went to a different company who had EXCELLENT service and helped us the first time.

We got a central AC unit put in by the guys at Sunrise and they were great from start to finish. Carolina is just lovely on the phone and kept me up to date on when the guys were about to arrive. Travis came out and did the initial quote for us and I really appreciated that he could give us such a thorough quote on the spot and answered any questions I had. He was not pushy at all about which unit we should get and costs were really decent for everything you get and the work it takes to install a unit. These guys were really efficient from quote to finish, and I really liked that everything was emailed to us and you could pay so easily online. We are now enjoying our lovely cool house this summer and are so glad we went with Sunrise.

We definitely NEEDED a new furnace! Sunrise was super responsive, and scheduled to come out the next day to provide a quote. They were able to send Robert the following morning to install our new furnace. The whole experience was smooth and super quick! Robert cleaned up after, and hauled away all of the debris. Travis was very professional and kind, best serviceman Ive ever invited into my home. He gave me a competitive quote on an a.c. installation and also drew my attention to the aging furnace in my home.Without any pressure, he drew up a few different quotes, went over the pros and cons of each, and ultimately won my business with his knowledge, courtesy, and professionalism. We even squeezed in some Jeep/car talk!

They charged me $120 to spend 10 minutes telling me they had no idea what was wrong with my furnace despite the fact that I took a video demonstrating the sounds it was making. Since they couldnt figure out what was wrong I asked for a quote on the part that I thought was wrong (an attic fan of some sort). The next day I had the sound return x10 and when I called and left a message nobody bothered to call me back. Its been over a month and I have not had my calls returned or even a paper quote sent to me over what I discussed with the tech.

I recently had some work done to my heating system by SH&C. I chose SH&C because of their great reviews. I now know why. Dallas was the technician that did the work. He was extremely professional and pleasant. The work was done when promised. It was a great experience. I highly recommend SH&C.

We were very pleased with the service we got from Sunrise Heating and Cooling. From our first appointment (the estimate) to completion the owner and staff were courteous and helpful. They resolved some issues we didnt even know we had in the crawl space. When you live in Montana you can use the air conditioner one day, and the furnace the next morning, so you expect things to work and weve had no problems at all. We had three estimates and were able to compare prices as well as the helpfulness and attitude of the competition. We highly recommend Sunrise Heating & Cooling.

Excellent customer service. From the moment I called this company ( knew nothing about them) until the end of the installation of a new furnace, they were professional, prompt, knowledgeable and very informative! Would totally recommend Sunrise Heating! Update: I was impressed with this company until I requested the yearly service that you have to do to make sure you have the warranty. The first time was supposed to be free. But, I did not call them within the year and they certainly did not contact me. ( I was a month or so over the date). So, the service was now not included in the $5000 plus cost of the furnace and was going to cost over $300 for them to travel to my home. They now did not really want to travel the 60 miles for the service and suggested I get someone closer to perform the service. I was not so important to them after the initial purchase.

My furnace stopped working last week and Sunrise Heating and Cooling came to my house within a few hours of my call to them. The technician was very friendly and helpful regarding explaining my options for repairing or replacing the unit. The technicians that installed the furnace were friendly, worked quickly and cleanly, and answered all my questions. The follow-up was great. I will definitely call Sunrise again if I need repairs on the heating or cooling system at my house.

About a month after that, we had them come back and install a 3 ton, 2-stage AC unit. The quality of work and warranty are why we went with them. I would recommend them to any friends and family.

He explained how the system would be designed for our house and had the estimate completed before he left our house. Robert from Sunrise fixed a problem with my furnace that 2 other companies in Bozeman could not. He even helped me install a new wireless thermostat that, in retrospect, I would have failed at because it turned out a certain needed wire wasnt hooked up to the furnace. Reasonable prices. Technician was 1 1/2 hours late- spent 5 minutes looking at my furnace and then charged me $120 to close a door on my furnace that wasn’t latched properly. I understand that they have to charge for their services but at least give me a little more time and a thorough checkout for that kind of money! Will definitely be using other companies for future problems.

Sunrise installed a combi-boiler unit in a house that I just purchased. It was leaking into the wall and needed service so I tried to contact them. Not only do they not have anyone answering the phones--after a week of trying, but they also dont even have a voicemail set up. They also they did not answer multiple email contacts. Is this company even still around?!?! This is totally unacceptable in 2019.Normally even this would be enough to cause concern. The real reason for this 1 star review is that we are now about to pay ~2k for a local company to fix the terrible install that they did originally. The system was not only installed completely incorrect, but they also just did very terrible work!!! Did the person who installed it know ANYTHING about what they were doing?!?!? Stay away from this company, if you can even get in contact with them.

Sunrise is great! Our furnace went out on a Friday when the temps were below zero. I called numerous businesses for help, but couldnt get anyone to come out until the following Monday. When I reached Sunrise, they were very friendly and accommodating and had Daniel there within a couple of hours. Daniel found out it was our fan and ordered a part from Billings to be delivered the next day (Saturday). He then came back out at 6:00 PM on Saturday to install it. He was professional, friendly and very reliable. He even told me on Friday before he left that if it got too cold in our house that night to call him and he would bring us some space heaters. We didnt need the heaters, but Daniel went way above and beyond whats expected to make sure we were taken care of. I would highly recommend Sunrise and especially Daniel to anyone!

I hired Sun Rise heating for my mother to replace her new furnace. They treated her very good and said they would help at any time and they did. She came back and hired them for her Central Air service. Because Travis was extremely helpful I hired them to put a new heating and cooling system in our new home. We had issues with the furnace not starting during a very cold winter last year and Travis stayed on the line with me to trouble shoot and got our furnace started again!! Love them!

Sunrise tech Robert came out oct 30 to diagnose a furnace problem. he quickly identified the problem and provided a cost effective estimate for a repair that would fix problem and improve furnace efficiency. Subsequently Robert returned and did the major repairs to the heat exchanger, condensate pump and return air ducts/filters. Now 4 months later very pleased that all continues to have worked well this winter.

I was nearing the end of my buy/sell contract on my property where Id be turning it over to the new buyer in 2 days. I discovered a furnace-related issue and called Sunrise because they offered after-hours services. Their technician, Robert, gave me a call shortly after my initial contact to inform me he was on his way. After his preliminary inspection and assessment, he determined I needed a new pressure switch and he placed one on order. The next day, Robert received the part all the way from Billings and was available to install and test the results. The furnace was back to normal and Robert really did keep my deal from catastrophically derailing. My plans fell apart and Sunrise turned out to be a sure-fire contingency. Robert went to work and didnt waste any time - to my delight, too, because there was no time to spare. Well done!

The purchase and install of our unit last summer went very well and we couldn’t have been happier with how things went and how the unit functioned. It performed great in taking the bite of heat off the day and cooling our kid’s rooms before they go to bed. Exactly what we wanted.As we started to use the unit this summer it has only been running intermittently. It may run for 10 minutes or 3 hours, you never know. And that is only if it turns on. Yesterday I turned the A/C on at 3pm, didn’t touch a thing after that and it eventually kicked on at 7:44pm. As we laughed at how ridiculous the situation is the A/C turned off at 7:55. We were able to get a whopping 11 minutes of A/C.I first started trying to contact Sunrise for service on June 4th, three weeks ago! I was told they were busy and would do their best to get something scheduled soon. I never heard back from them. Started trying to get in touch with them again today and again no response. I read some of their responses to other comments and understand finding good employees in the valley is difficult. But, we paid a good amount of money for our a/c unit and expected it would have lasted longer than half a summer.It feels a lot like we mattered as a customer when we purchased the unit but now that we are having issues we are less than a priority. Stings even more to see glowing reviews of recent installs while we can’t even get our unit to run.

I bought an AC unit at a charity silent auction that Sunrise had donated. I called the following Monday to find out the details of what I had bought, fully expecting an upsell and a long wait before my install. What I got was exactly the opposite, they insisted on treating me just like any other paying customer. I had my unit installed within just a couple days. We had an AC unit installed in July of 2017 and purchased a Gold Membership, which provides us with fall and spring maintenance to get things up and running for the season. Never received a fall maintenance and never received a call about spring maintenance.Contacted them on 5/3/18 for spring maintenance and left a message. On 5/4, they called and said theyd be scheduling in the next few weeks. Three weeks went by with no word. Sent an email - no response. Contacted them on Facebook on 6/1/18. They set an appointment for 6/8. They cancelled that appointment. Reset for 6/12. They cancelled that appointment. Reset for 6/15. They cancelled THAT appointment.I emailed a complaint about this and the owner responded a few hours later assuring me that they would keep their 6/15 afternoon appointment. I left work early, missing out on PTO and overtime, and the NEVER SHOWED UP. No phone call, no text, no email. I sent an email that evening and again on Monday morning and heard nothing.They are in breach of the maintenance contract for which we paid extra. Very irresponsible. Were now into the middle of June, have been running our AC, and have not received ANY service since the AC was installed in July of 2017.

Travis spent the time to explain my options which allowed me to make the decision that was right for me. Robert and crew installed the new Daikin and showed me how to operate the digital thermostat. The crew cleaned up after themselves leaving the property in excellent condition.

Our furnace wasnt heating our home well and Sunrise came out within a few hours, solved the problem, and provided recommendations on how to keep our furnace running in peak condition. Our tech also went out of him way to grab us a few new filters and informed us that Sunrise sells filters at a lower cost than traditional home improvement retailers! Definitely calling them again!

We had a variety of products installed in August 2018 including central A/C, adding vented heating & cooling to our upstairs, whole home humidification and air purification. Fair price, and great reviews were helpful for making our decision to use Sunrise. Some delays and hiccups with the installation but after awhile it finally got resolved. I really appreciated Travis professionalism at time of estimate and the speed at which the project got moving along.Over the winter our home was much more comfortable with the humidifier. And with 3 young kids, not one person in our household was sick all winter thanks to the air purification. It really does work and I highly recommend it. Travis wasnt kidding that the system is awesome.Over the winter we did need some service for a slight problem and in the process the technician said he noticed that some of their work from a few months earlier was done incorrect so he was able to fix that problem. This was unfortunate to hear about and our trust factor was dinged.At the time of order their Gold Package $189 was added for bi-annual service. My thermostat gives me an alert that over 6 months has passed now and I havent heard from Sunrise yet about doing a Spring maintenance tuning; so I called their number thats on the website 587-3310. Weve made 4 attempts yesterday and a few today, each time it goes to a voicemail service that says this mailbox has not been setup, goodbye and we tried reaching out to their ’contact us’ page but nobody has called back over 6 weeks later. How can a business operate if nobody is answering the phones or customers cant leave a message? We spent over $10,000 last summer upgrading our existing new system yet can’t get service less than 1yr later. I would like to use the services that Ive purchased or be able to contact Sunrise with questions if and when necessary. I believe they have gone out of business.

Oh my goodness these guys are AMAZING! We recently had a new furnace installed from another company. Our house has been literally shaking and the other company kept jerking us around saying everything was fine. I called Sunrise and they had a tech at my house within an hour. Our Techs name was Josh* and he had it figured out within 20 minutes. We learned that the furnace isnt really even installed properly and they had us using a wrong filter. Also, I didnt even get charged a fee for having it be an emergency! So friendly, straightforward, and good at what they do. I wish we would have went with them from the beginning.*I apologize, in a previous version of this review I mistakenly named him Justin.

Horrible - Do not use! My gas fireplace is having trouble staying on. Spent $500 in service visits and parts with these guys. My fireplace worked correctly for a week and now their phone is disconnected. Not to mention they double charged me when I wrote them a check and they electronically debited it AND deposited it. Took weeks for them to refund the over charge.

Incidentally, through all of this, Bozeman had a subzero cold snap: the team not only ensured the changes in my home would not leave me heatless, but they also made sure every one of their other clients kept continual heat during the critical time.

Emergency boiler and hot water tank REPLACEMENT!! Zack was polite, and efficient with his time management. Despite having a full schedule, he spent what spare time he had, working on our heating. At one point, he needed a few parts, and went to get them. While on his trip, he was rear ended by another motorist, and still returned to keep working, despite being light headed, and having a headache. Recently on a cold winter afternoon my furnace quit working. I called Sunrise and they scheduled a technician later the same afternoon to try resolve the problem with my furnace. The technician, Josh Mainwaring, arrived at my residence exactly at the scheduled time and diagnosed the problem in less than ten minutes. He immediately replaced the malfunctioning part and got the furnace working. I was very impressed with Joshs professionalism and personable manner. Based on my experience with this service call I would definitely recommend Sunrise for HVAC service.

These folks bailed me out of a really bad situation. I purchased the installation of a “mini split” heating and air conditioning system for our newly built home in Bozmeman from another company, who as it turns out performed the installation of a pressurized coolant based system without proper fittings or the use of a mandatory torque wrench specific to the system. Of course they never stood behind their instal and it failed twice during the time they tried to fix the leaks. Not only did the system not function, leaked toxic Freon type coolant, but they also kinked the copper tubing coming out of the wall to the compressor (read disaster).I called other companies to help me out but all said since they didn’t do the install they’d not offer service, including a company who is a authorized service center for the brand I bought. I lucked out when I called sunrise, the owner showed up to assess the issue and quickly and professionally provided me an estimate on an Ipad with the promise to send a technician out to have a look at it. An e-mail message was sent out confirming the appointment, and the day of the appointment another message appeared with a photo of the technician we should expect. Robert arrived in a nice truck, introduced himself, put covers on his feet to no damage out new floor, and was obviously selected with care by Sunrise. He was courteous, concise, and provided a final estimate based on time and materials. He showed up the following week precisely on time, had the parts and performed the work with no surprises, no hassles and with a complete understanding of the function of our system despite it not being their house brand. My wife and I have not been this impressed with the service of a business to this date in Bozeman. Kudos to the team from Sunrise, including dispatch, owners, and field technicians. Needless to say I give them the highest rating and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new install or a repair. Really terrific company.

PERFECTION! PROFESSIONAL! QUICK! Cannot say enough good things about this company. From the first phone call to Carolina, who was so pleasant and welcoming! She got me the initial meeting with Travis, the owner, within just a couple days of the phone call! I was amazed because I had called several other HVAC places, IN BOZEMAN, that werent even talking to new customers. I then met with Travis, he came out and looked at the house and gave me the quote. I have to say, what a nice man. Honest and not just trying to sell you a product, but, he actually wants to improve your living condition and help you pick the best product for your needs. I felt as though he was looking at my situation as father figure would, only wanting the best for me and definitely not going to take advantage of the situation. The best part about the entire quote process was that it only took 1 day, LITERALLY, 1 DAY. Travis came out and took a look around, he then whipped out his IPAD and gave me not only 1 quote, but 4 to choose from! He took his time to go over each and every one of them with me to make sure I understood the process and quote, and still, he did not just try to sell me something but listened to what I had to say and listened to my needs for my family. Once we (my boyfriend and I) decided on a system and unit, (we went with the Mac Daddy option, it fit our needs the best, forced heat and air), we met Robert. He was the lead technician on the project and he was extremely professional and so smart. His team consisted of Daniel and Trent, these guys were beyond polite, I am young, but they both referred to me as mamm and were just so ultra professional. At the end of the project, our system was not on and there was no electricity going to it, not only did Travis call the team out to fix a couple things, but he also PERSONALLY called the electrician and had him COME OVER RIGHT AWAY to fix the issue. And Jim, the electrician, was beyond amazing. I asked him a couple of questions unrelated to the project and he willfully and gladly answered them for me without any kind of additional charge. Needless to say the system was up and working that day. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for any kind of HVAC work. Like I mentioned at the beginning, they were PERFECTION. Quick, Honest, Reliable and so polite and professional! Thank you team, and thank you especially to Travis, you have a great team! Keep up the wonderful work!!! So called to get a gas line installed. made a appointment. thay show up 2 hours late and thay only did a quote. so not happy with that. so got the quote the next day for 1,195. for a gas line. that has two fittings and maybe 8 ft of gas line. and on the quote had no prices for parts or the amount of for labor time. just a price for gas line install and leak test. at again 1,195.00. so if you dont wont ro wast your time like i did and leave work early dont have this company do any work for you.

We were so impressed with Chris! We called him on Friday, July 22nd around 3:30 to get an estimate for air conditioning for our house. He came right over that afternoon and gave us an estimate and then called his guys to see if they were available to put in the unit the next day, Saturday. We were so thrilled as it had been very warm lately. They came over around 9:00 in the morning and by 2:30 we had wonderful cool air!!! We are so appreciative of his awesome work not to mention he is a super nice guy. So willing to make the customer happy. I would definitely recommend Sunrise Heating and Cooling to anyone!!! Sunrise Heating & Cooling has certainly done right by us with our new minisplit AC system. Were very happy with their excellent customer service and superb attention to detail. The two zones of the new AC system pretty much cool off our entire house. Regarding the men who installed the minisplit, they were extremely professional and knew exactly what they were doing. In spite of the 90-degree-plus weather outside, they were able to complete the job within the estimated timeframe that was earlier provided. Regarding clean-up afterwards, they did an adequate job (four stars out of five.). As far as the product goes,.the Emura unit is a very smart-looking, streamlined design. We like having the choice of two different colors and/or finishes. Weve only used the set-up for a brief time now, since it was recently installed, but it really seems to cool our house down very nicely.... its also super quiet. I love the variety of cooling choices provided on the remote, which is very easy to understand. Try Sunrise Heating & Cooling -- youll be glad that you did!

Good service and timely, tried to upcharge from the agreed price and just had to say that wasnt what was agreed upon and they realized the mistake and corrected it, so just check your bill and what youre paying for. Nice feature that they text a picture of the technician before he comes over
