I have been insured by the Boynton Beach Hite Agency, Brightway Insurance, since last year and have very happy with their service.My policy came up for renewal this year. Like everything else, there was a major increase to my policy cost. I called and spoke with Alicia Czito who was professional, and extremely helpful. I told Alecia I heard homeowners insurance policies we’re on the rise this coming year, however, I didn’t expect the increase I received. She took the time to review my policy item by item, pointed out a few areas that might give me a potential savings. I said I was opened to look at these changes if she could give me a quote with these changes. Without hesitation, she said she was more than happy to do that. She indicated she would have to contact the insurance company, get the numbers and get back with be by the end of the day. When I received the new costs.I was greatly surprised and pleased. As a result of Alecia providing me more than one area I could receive a cost reduction, I was able to keep certain coverage I really wanted, and modify those that I was willing to change.If it wasn’t for Alicia taking the time to review my policy with me, suggesting some options and checking on the cost deductions, I more than likely would still be looking a new company and policy.Now I am extremely pleased and happy to have the opportunity to continue with this agency. The agent I dealt with, Mauricio Neira, was professional and responsive. Ins quotes were detailed and provided good value. My only complaint would be that it is difficult to get someone on the phone. The agents seem to be very busy and prefer to use email, not phone. Most of the communication was done via email which can drag the admin process out a bit. CD

Well I had just such a positive experience with Mauricio Neira from Brightway Insurance of Boynton Beach. After my present carrier decided to raise my premium significantly after being with them for 10 years and no claims, I decided it was time for a change. I called my present agent for over a month, but to no avail. While holding out hope she would call, time passed and all of a sudden I barely had 24 hours to get new quotes from another carrier and place the new homeowner’s policy. Unfortunately the agent Mauricio did not review my 4 point wind inspection and binded our policy when our roof was 21 years old (the UP&C limit is 20 years old). Not only did we cancel our other policy, but we were booted by UP&C for having a roof that was too old. We are out of $600 dollars , but more importantly have no insurance. We had hurricane insurance for December and January, when there is zero risk. Really?? These agents need to be more careful when binding policies instead of handing them out like candy. UP&C said it was up to the agent to inform us of this very important information!! We agree , it is not the insurance companies fault.
