I had a great experience buying a new car here with Kevin Burns. I was able to look at what was at the dealership, find what I really wanted to have them transfer from another dealer, text Kevin over the weekend that I had changed my mind, and in the end have the right car transferred from a different dealer which I really appreciated. They also gave me a great trade-in offer. Then while we finished the buying process & paperwork, Kevin had an accessory installed that I had requested so I didnt have to come back for that later, had the hand controls removed from my trade-in at the same time, and he set up my last requested add-on to be installed at another nearby dealer because they couldnt get the part. What a great experience! Thanks for the great service!

I bought a 2016 Ford F-250 that had been through the thorough inspection and service. Check your vehicle before you buy a used one. I took their word for it and found and absolutely horrendous plugged air filter only got 1 key and remote which costs a lot to program new ones now. The truck was t a bad deal but the service had not been done. There was no evidence of a lube job, battery terminals badly corroded as well. My own fault for taking word on a service and inspection being done.

We just recently got a car from this dealer and the experience was fantastic. Our sale person was Kevin. We had looked online and got in contact with him. When we got there he showed us anything we asked and was great. We took several cars for test drives until we found the one we liked. No pressure no problems. We went in to talk numbers and told him were we needed to be. Brad the sale manager and Kevin worked until everything worked for us. Josh the purchasing manager all ng with the other 2 stayed after hours to make sure everything was done. This dealership went fair and beyond to work with us and make sure we left happy. Amazing service and never any pressure.

My issue is with the service department. They do not value your time, or, they have poor management. Neither is acceptable. I waited over an hour and a half passed my appointment time before my vehicle even went up on the lift for service. If you are going to offer appointments, make that mean something. Waiting over 2 hours for an oil change when you have an appointment is unacceptable. Although the receptionist and service tech were both professional, and helpful, I will not have my vehicle serviced here again.

The service was exceptional. They greeted me quickly, there was no pressure to buy unrelated items for the service I was requesting (but still showed me what should be replaced) and the facilities were extremely clean and well maintained. Plus a little kids corner to keep them entertained.This was one of the smoothest and hassle free experiences I have ever had at a dealership. This will definitely be the Honda I go to from now on.

I am so happy with both cars I purchased from this location. Tyler McConnell is the best. He found me the car I wanted and always updated me on the delivery status. He kept me company while I was waiting for the paperwork to be done in the finance department. When the car arrived he spent time helping me move all my stuff from my old car to the new one, and even sat in the new car with me to go through how it all works. He is the nicest guy and has incredibly calming and welcoming energy.

Lounge is average, car selection is pretty good, prices are alright, staff will stare at you the whole way in and out if you dont mention big interest in buying a car which makes it a little uncomfortable. Used to own a BMW and we took it here for repairs, was always a fortune which is funny because its a Honda dealership and supposedly prices here were better than the BMW store in SLC which charged the same amount we later found out. Toyota is better.

I had an awesome experience a couple weeks ago when I bought my 2021 Honda CRV at Performance Honda, Bountiful. I knew the vehicle I wanted, how much I wanted for my trade-in, and the color of the vehicle I wanted to purchase.I had shopped other dealerships on-line, so I knew what the CRVs were selling for. I knew the price I wanted for my trade-in and was offered within $500 of my goal for my car. My salesman, Kevin, was great. No high pressure, just the facts. Kevin guided me through every move! I purchased a set of crossbars for my Honda Pilot, but needed help installing them. I called Performance Honda of Bountiful to see if they could help me out. They said it would take 2 hours and cost around $100.00 to have it done. I set an appointment, not knowing how I would get them on by myself. That evening, my son came by and he installed them in about 10 minutes. I couldnt believe that you had quoted me such an unreasonable charge for something as simple as sliding on a crossbar.........and to think I would have fallen for it!Im so glad my son came by and saved me all that time and money.Im very disappointed in you.

We just bought (leased) a 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid from Performance. We are very impressed with how we were treated and with the whole process. Our salesman, Kevin Burns was exceptional from the moment we met him as we arrived till we drove off in the Accord Hybrid three weeks later. Pushiest establishment ever and werent sincere. Clearly all about making bank. I went to see a car and I refused to test drive it Because it smelled Awful. Who wants to drive in a smoky car? They didnt think about trying to clear the smell? This dealership also hasnt posted about the awful smell. You could easily get a headache.. Which is probably the biggest reason its lower in price.In result I purchased my vehicle elsewhere for a far better experience and price.

I had an incredible and extremely satisfying shopping experience at this location. Id been to other dealers who were all high pressure buy now types with a lot of mixed double talk. Here I was respected and calmly walked through the process with no pressure. The salesman I dealt with, Sean Wilson couldnt have been more calm and patient as I asked my first timers questions. I was given the car for a two hour test drive and loved the experience. He was well informed, and possessed of both a friendly demeanor and good humor. His boss walked me through all the financial red tape until I understood my options and left with a wonderful previously owned vehicle which the family mechanic past with flying colors. Bought a used car from them. Serpentine belt failed after 3 days. After contacting the dealer a couple of times over the last 2 days Performance Honda Bountiful is taking care of the belt failure. We had stellar service! I have never been so well taken care of. We have bought many cars over the years but these guys were by far the best. Brandon was thoughtful, amazing, and fast. I have never had someone be willing to walk us through the new updates and features of a car before. We purchased a beautiful brand new 2022 Honda Odyssey Touring. We actually came in bc our old 2016 van unexpectedly needed a new alternator while we were on a trip to Utah. Sergio was the technician and my husband was very impressed with him and his work. However, we still opted to trade it in for the 2022 (which we had been planning to do). I have never had such a pleasant experience and Stan sealed the deal for us. Buying a new car does take time and my kids were grateful for the unlimited soda fountain, popcorn and video games area! I would definitely do business here again.

I’ve used the service department twice. The first time I got rails and a ski rack installed on my car. They estimated 2-3 hours, it took at least 5. The second time I had warning lights on, after they diagnosed the problem and ordered the part they said 4-5 hours. I left it all day and they had to order another part and kept it overnight. They said it would be done by noon the next day. I called 3 times after noon to get the status and they couldn’t tell me. I had to wait for a call back. Finally got a call after 4 pm to find out it was done.If time and a quick response is a concern, I would go somewhere else.

I found they are no different than the standard historical car sales dealer. Offer nothing for your trade and ask a couple thousand over book for their precious piece of inventory. The poor sap salesperson takes an offer to the classless manager and the so called negotiation game begins. They keep bringing back ridiculous offers from “the manager” until they wear you out. If you want a decent used car for a no haggle price with a dealer with integrity do a search for Carvana or an equivalent on line car dealer. I assure you it will be an experience that won’t leave you feeling like you were hoodwinked.

Nothing complicated, bought an oil and filter change and that is what they did without trying to sell me something more. Very nice service dude took good care of me. I was a little disappointed that the mechanic did not reset the oil life counter. Also, I did not get a complimentary car wash that I usually receive because the car wash machine was broken. Come on guys, there were enough sales type guys sitting around doing nothing the hour I was there, a couple could have washed it by hand.

Found what we wanted fast with zero pressure from Derek.Edit: we have had a car two months and took it to a carwash water came pouring in. Took it to a body shop and come to find out this clean title car has likely been in an accident. The guys who looked at our car said itd had a cheap paint job to cover it and that the dealership normally catches these things. Not pleased. We have to replace the hinges and a bumper. If the car had been cleaned prior to us buying it how did you not notice the leaking back window?? So much for your 50+ check.

Took the Pilot in for an extended warranty fix on the sound system. It took them three attempts to get it done correct and reattach the dash completely. When it came back the third time someone had been entering and exiting by grabbing between the window and the door to climb up and must have been wearing a ring because it was completely scratched up. They must have laid something across the hood, too, because there are numerous lang scratches like something had been dragged across the hood. I will NEVER go back to Performance and will be going out of my way to dealers in SLC or Ogden from now on. If I could give zero stars I would.

Amazing service department! I have been a customer of performance Honda in Bountiful for 13 years. Tyler and Sergio have always been super helpful whenever my car needs serviced. Them and their team have helped me maintain my vehicles, anything from an oil change to accident repairs they have been there. Recently I had my car serviced and was given a loaner vehicle that I later learned was the service managers, Suda, demo vehicle. While they do not normally allow it as a loaner vehicle Tyler had made this happen by request. What an amazing team!

Horrible service and the sales guy Jace straight up told me no when I asked him to go ask his finance guys if they would take a certain price. Also they were trying to finance the car for more than what they had it listed. It was listed at 23,500 and they kept saying it was 24k. The best part was they were only willing to take 200$ off their asking price. Mind you I was pre approved for the vehicle. Yet they still wouldnt work with me at all. At one point they asked for 3k down after I told them I only had a grand to put down. Never will I go here again

In 2014, we purchased a 2014 brand new car from this location. Our sales experience was great. However, we purchased a lemon of a new car and naturally Honda started offering a lifetime warranty the year AFTER we bought ours. Weve definitely had a few go rounds with their service department doing questionable things. Only saving grace has been our limited NOT life time warranty and a few employees like: Jordan Summers (service manager). He tried diligently to make it right both times with us but never really whole. Trust is like fabric...when less than transparent things occur...it tears away at the fabric of that trust. And once that happens, its a difficult thing to try to regain. TBH, Im not sure that I will continue to take my new vehicle to this service department once the warranty is up. Matter of fact, I am considering getting rid of it for a Toyota. My other car is a 2007 Toyota and weve NEVER had any issues with it. I used to think Honda was a solid car company, but this purchase has been full of regret, many hours of valuable time spent at dealership dealing with issues, and frustrating phone calls. They always seem to be in reactive mode...rather than proactive mode. Hence the need to have someone in Jordans position putting out fires.

Jonathan Kimmings helped us on a phone call find a 2018 Nissan Murano! I had some specific questions about condition and he took the time to go out and take pictures and a video that helped me make a decision on the phone! I made the decision confident he had answered all my questions! We drove down a few days later and picked the Murano up and it was ready to go just like he promised! This is my favorite Honda dealership. They always make sure you are taken care of and are very friendly. I drive all the way from Ogden because they treat me so much better than the one on Riverdale.

The cars the offer are the same as any other Honda dealership in town, the prices are reasonable.The way they handle customers is terrible.During the process of buying the car I specifically called out that I did not want my credit pulled. They did it anyway (I have since frozen my credit to prevent this kind of thing in the future). I contacted the salesperson, finance person, and general manager and either got the run around or just no response at all other than call the credit bureaus to dispute it. The bureaus told me I needed a letter indicating the pull was a mistake or they couldnt do anything. All I am getting is crickets in response from the Performance Honda people after repeated contact.They tried to charge me for previously installed door edge and handle protection, which is falling off after two months. To their credit, when I asked what the item was on the invoice they removed the charge.In addition, I had to call two days before my paper tag was to expire to find out of my plates had arrived. I am still not sure why they didnt bother with a text or call to let me know it was in.Finally, in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, signs on the doors and all over the showroom had listed that masks were mandatory and almost none of the employees were wearing masks. The finance guy put on his when I stepped into his area, which I appreciated.I am disgusted by the lack of care Performance Honda Bountiful has for customers health, employees health, and public health. I am also disappointed by their lack of care and empathy for problems they have created and have the ability to solve.I do like the car I purchased and feel I got a reasonable price on it without a lot of hassle, but based on the other experiences I had with them I will look elsewhere for a car in the future, even if the price is higher.

Update: 1 week later- my AC still wasnt seeming right. Tired of dealing with honda I took it to another automotive shop. Among other issues they sent me a picture of the cabin Air filter, it was bad.. looks like honda didnt even check it. Glad i found a new local shop to now support..Such frustrating expirences. I Took my car in 1 week ago to have some issues with the AC looked at. They took 3 hours to even look and diagnose the issues they then gave me service options. They told me my car would be done by 5 if I chose to have it worked on that day.i was fine to come another day if it couldnt be done by 5. After confirming 2 more times it would be done by 5 I agreed to having them do the work that day.i arranged a ride and I showed up at 4:50 car wasnt done. I didnt leave the lot until after 5:30 while hauling 3 kids around just waiting. Less than 1 week later the part stops working completely. This time my dad makes the appt, takes it in, gives them his contact info since he will be waiting there while they diagnose. Again 3 hours after getting my car they finally call me (not my dad as asked) just with a diagnoses. Its now 4:30. They tell me they have a part on its way and my car will be done the next morning by 9:30. I arrange a ride for me and my kids for 11 since I dont trust their timing at all.I call the next day at 10am . My car is obviously not done. In fact they still dont even have the part. They tell me it will be there any minute and then will take 30 mins to install. 1.5 hours later its still not done. I call again at 1pm and they are just finishing it up and it will be ready in 10 mins. I arrange a ride for myself and kids. I get here and its not ready. 40 mins pass and I ask where my car is. Oh its still not done.Its now almost 2 pm and Im still sitting here waiting . Seriously ridiculous service.

George is the MOST rude person I have ever encounter. For a guy to talk the way he talked to me and have that super agressive attitude with a woman is NOT right. No ONE did anything, everyone just sat down and watch. The other manager Rent was even on his side seems like instead of just firing and sending him home. I still cant believe the super bad moment I had I even thought he was going to hurt my husband ohh all this happened infornt of my 2 toddlers...2 other workers there said that that is the way he is, so obviously this wasnt the first time I dont know why he is still there. Worst dealer I have been too, seriously in 2021 the violence against woman shouldnt be allowed!

I like the use of text and video when diagnosing a problem.I don’t like how we spent $1700 on repair (including new tires) and they sent us off like this. And there was no acknowledgment to make it right after bringing it up. After buying new tires everywhere else, no one has sent them out like this.Bottom line: may be good for some repairs but not good for others, including tires.

I was a first-time car buyer and the Performance Honda Bountiful Staff was absolutely incredible. They were very kind, patient, and helpful. They even gave me the best MSRP price out of all the dealers I looked into. JJ and George still check in to make sure I have everything I need. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Honda vehicle!

I recently took my truck in to Performance Honda for an emissions test. As usual, I was in and out quickly, the price was right, and they didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I didn’t need a ride anywhere during my service but their shuttle driver Dan recognized me and went out of his way to come talk to me. I’ve been on the fence whether to replace our minivan with an Odyssey or Sienna (Toyota) but I will definitely be getting an Odyssey due to the quality people and service at Performance Honda.

Drove up to see a well-priced and newer used car. It smelled of tobacco smoke yet our sales rep was aggressively trying to deny our sense of smell. After hard negotiating, we settled on a price and went on to documentation. He spelled my and my wifes name both wrong on multiple legal documents, ran the wrong persons credit, and just created an odd environment for us both. We ended up spending 4+ hour at the dealership until we finished and could go home. Then, a few days later it rained and I went to turn on my wiper blades. They blades were completely broken and useless (plastic falling off and flopping around). I reached out to our rep to see if he could replace them for free and he ignored the question. I asked again and he said he couldnt replace them. So that prompted me to write this review. I love the car, but the whole experience at the dealership just left a sour taste in my mouth. I would never recommend a friend to come buy a car from here.

My new go-to place for service. Fast, friendly, actually answers their phone. Much better prices than downtown SLC. Clean, safe, has snacks and water. I could not even get an appointment at the place I have been going for Honda and Toyota service for over 30 years. Closer to home. Highly recommended.
