Shame on them!My daughter took her car in to replace a tire that was damaged by road debris and that went well. She asked them to look at her brakes because they squeak in reverse. They told her that she needed them replaced and quotes her $600 for a full set.I bought brakes pads, $45/ set, removed the wheels to find that there is at least 1/4 on every pad. It disgusts me that service writers are paid a commission on everything they sell and that they take advantage of people who may not know better, especially young ladies who are scraping by working and going to school.

My family has been taking all of our cars to Big O for years. Not just for new tires, but for every car maintenance or repair needed. Everyone at the shop is great, but Gary is our “go-to” guy. I call him and ask if they can/should do the work and if it is in their scope, I will always take it to him. I know I am getting a thorough and complete job, they won’t do anything unnecessary to increase my costs, and I will always get a fair price. If the job is not cut out for their shop, he will refer us to someone who can and who will also take good care of us. Because of Gary and his relationship with them. I have a 2016 Toyota Camry with about 45k miles on it. When I took it in for an oil change earlier this year, they called me and told me that I needed new struts. I asked them how much that would cost- they said $1,700. I told them that I needed to do more research and I did not want the repair done that day.I came by to pick up my car after the oil change and I asked them what exactly was wrong with the struts so I could voice the same to my mechanic. They said, they just look bad and would not give me any specifics. I asked them how quickly struts go bad (because, again, my car had only about 45k miles on it) and they said that theyve repaired struts on a variety of different cars- in fact, they replaced them on this ladys car that had 18k miles on it before. I started to feel like things werent adding up. I told them that I was going to take it to my mechanic for a second opinion. They then got weirdly defensive and asked me why I wouldnt get the repair done there. I answered, because I dont want to. They continued to pressure me to get it done there. I again refused, and paid for the oil change and left.I called my mechanic the same day to see if he could give me a consult/quote. He asked me over the phone if I felt any change/problem with the way that the car was driving? No. He asked me the age/use of the car? 2016 and 45k miles. He said that if there wasnt any noticeable difference to the way the car drives because its relatively new, theres no reason that anyone should be telling me to get the struts replaced.I thought Id pass this forward because I havent been able to stop thinking about the poor lady who felt she needed her struts replaced at 18k miles. Im not saying that theyre fraudulent in saying you need to get something replaced, but I am saying GET A SECOND OPINION.As for me, I cant trust them anymore so Im gladly taking my business elsewhere.

Honestly would get 0 stars if that were a choice. Went in with a quote for only brakes pads which I brought with me for a price of $76 . Their laborer broke a wheel stud and instead of fixing it for free, but was charged for part and labor!! Also sat there for 3 hours when I was told it would be a half an hour job!! Highly disappointing! Never going back! Walked away paying double 🤬🤬

Dont leave anything valuable in your car. They went through the center console and stole $40 worth of weed allegedly in a car. Service at the front desk is really nice and helpful though.

I would like to talk to the owner. I would give a 0 stars if I could. Beware of scams. Twice now been in for oil-filter- rotate. All I got was new oil. I marked everything with a marker, so there would be no questions. And to add insult, greasy footprints all over the mat. Do not go here.

I recently bought a used car and needed a tire rotation. I called Big O Tires and talked with Steve. He said to ask for him and he would take care of it. Steve got me in and out in under an hour. Great customer service and very easy to work with.

I recently took my elderly father in law to Big O for brakes on his vehicle. He has been going there since it was Triangle Tire, and after being bought by Big O. We sat in the lobby from 1:30pm to 6:00pm for brakes and rotors on the front, and brakes, rotors, and calipers on the back. I could have done all of the brakes myself in two hours with my own tools. My father in law said he will never go back there, and it is unfortunate the place has gone so far downhill since being purchased by Big O. I have talked to other people who have went to this location and had similar experiences. Sounds like Big O is losing a lot of customers due to poor customer service.

Great service at a great price

So they did me ok on the tires. I got 4 new tires and payed about 700 which is what i wanted to spend. But then i also wanted an alignment...i was told they couldnt do it because my whole front end was bad.....now i know they are full of it cause i personally replaced at least half the parts they said were bad just last year. Took it to my guys down the street and they handle the alinment no problem. Big O lied to me to try and burn me for thousands of dollars. Ill never go there again

I don’t know when they got new people to start running it! But when someone says the oil change will be quick and it takes 1 hour 30 minute gets really irritating! Guys at the front desk suck! Terrible service!

Big O Tires is my Go To tire and repair shop for all my vehicles. I have been going to them for years and have never had a single issue or problem. Quality repairs with short turnaround times! I have mainly worked with Steve and he is one of the best! Hes upfront open and honest on cost/repairs. He is professional and always willing to help the customer out and save a couple bucks! I had my battery replaced here. The service was wonderful! I had a comfortable stool with wifi and a snack machine if need be for while I waited. It wasnt a long wait at all. They were efficient with my time (did the job in less than promised) and in my opinion went above and beyond to make my experience a fantastic one. Ill be back for sure and will be telling my friends and neighbors about Big O Tires too. You know its good if Im willing to recommend it to others!

Called on Monday and ordered tires. Made an appointment for Thursday morning at 8am. Got a call Wednesday night letting me know that the tires would be at the location that morning before I showed up. Dropped off the car and was told it would be around two hours. Got a call, which I did not answer, at 12:38pm for the alignment. The tires were never delivered or picked up so after having my car for an hour they sent someone out at 9 to the warehouse to get them. Tires were finally installed at around 10:30 - 11 am. Then it was another hour and a half to call me.I called them back just before 1 pm (15 minutes after they called me) was then told it would only be an hour. When I called back at 2:05 they didn’t even have the car on the rack and I was then told it would be another 45 minutes. When I asked for a manager I was given someone who was not that. After talking to this persons for 20 minutes, asking for some sort of compensation for the amount of time he says that he couldn’t do anything because he was not the MANAGER. To which I replied, “then why am I talking to you”.After finally getting to talk to the actual manager the only thing offered was a $20 coupon for their mistake. They all just made excuses and only at the end of the call the manager took responsibility for not having the tires like they were suppose to. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION OR ANY BIG O LOCATION. I will also tell everyone to stay away and to not trust what they say because they don’t really care about their customers.

We were stuck in a bind and they really helped us out. Their shop and waiting room are very clean and organized.

The guys at this location are so helpful, honest, and patient. They do not apply pressure, which helps make the experience far smoother and less stressful. I use them for oil and all tire purchases. Excellent crew here.

My co worker went there today because his tire had a leak. He does not speak very well English and instead of just fixing the leak they ripped him off on wheel Barings for 1 single tire and charged him $472.00 Dishonest business practice, taking advantage of people. I will be sure to let all friends and family know about this experience.

I’m pretty disappointed in the up-selling that goes on here, suggesting that repairs need to be made on your car when that isn’t really the case. ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion from somewhere else before paying for anything here.Edit: I would actually recommend not going here in the first place. Don’t waste your time or money.

When this franchise location first opened, I had the worst experience. The big O manager from another location based out of Salt Lake City was there training how to run the place. What a joke he was. So much dishonesty from him. The other employees (at the time) had a look on their faces like they couldn’t believe what this manager guy was doing to “train the new big O store” in such dishonesty, lack of professionalism, and a big business bully. What a sad way to do business. Because of that one guy, and that bad experience. I’ll never go back. Sorry to the honest hard working employees that try to do an honest days work that have to suffer from that guy.

Ive been here on three separate occasions, but only have received satisfactory work from them on the first occasion.The first time here, I had tires installed on my wifes car. Nothing to complain about, the work was done on time and properly.The second time, I had them balance the wheels on my car. The wheels were not balanced when I received the car back, and as far as I can tell, the weights on my front wheels were identical to when I dropped the car off. I had to get them balanced somewhere else when I was out of town on a trip.Today, I had dropped my car off to have new tires installed and an alignment done. I was quoted 1 to 1.5 hours. After 1.5 hours I asked when it would be done, they told me it was next to go in the alignment rack. What they didnt tell me is that the vehicle on the alignment rack that I was behind had seized parts and they didnt know when they would be able to get it off the rack. After waiting 3 hours, I found out this information. I left, 1 hour late for work, without the alignment. I was also charged $119.80 for the tire mount & balance, when the quote was for $90.00. They claim that Tire Rack must have just not updated their pricing.Also of note, today while I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my car to be finished, I overheard one of the employees offer a customer over the phone a discount in exchange for a 5 star google review. So, some of these 5 star reviews you see on here are likely in exchange for discounts.Ill now be looking for a new shop to do work for me in the future, Im done visiting this location.

Had great help with Steve changing my tires and did a quick alignment.

My family had just flown back from a trip and had a three hour drive home ahead of us when we realized one of our tires was in really bad shape. We went in after hours because we noticed some people still in the shop and they went above and beyond in helping us. Im so grateful for their help and kindness, otherwise we would have been stranded far from home with a toddler late at night. These guys are awesome!

Absolutely awful experience here! I had a nail in my tire. It was leaking air quite quickly. I walked in and was passed off to some blonde guy with a ponytail. Both men at the counter were completely snarky and rude. I tried to explained my situation that I barely made it to their shop. I wasnt looking for charity. Id pay the $20-$27 the blonde guy quoted to plug a tire.. I really needed help, my kids were in the truck. My tire tools had come up missing if I got a total flat I would be completely stranded. They didnt even look at the tire, or even act concerned. They looked annoyed. They both told me that they were not taking anymore customers that they close at 4pm (it was 3pm) and it was not their problem. I would have to get my tire fixed elsewhere. I by the grace of God made it down the street to Jays tire who very willingly fixed my tire for free in less than 20 minutes and their parking lot was full too. I understand you need to run a business thats what the almost $30 would have been for.

Its a great place, friendly people, competitive prices. Ive never had a bad experience. I really dont think you can go wrong, Ive been coming here for years. On a side note the coffee is free and really quite good.

I came in about 2 hours before closing they were still willing to get my car looked at for an oil leak I will actually be returning on Wednesday to get it looked at again and then having the oil leak fixed the guy that helped me explained what they saw at that point but asked me to return to look again they were really great thank you

Terrible experience. Had to take it in over 5x for them to fix a problem I didn’t even originally go in for! Would never recommend.

We took in our car and only wanted a second opinion. They “fixed” multiple things without our approval and made us pay for them. We then continually got up charged and lied to.

Steve was extremely helpful in making sure I knew what was going in with my car as well as offering me different options for repairs and proper maintainence for the vehicle. Overall had a great experience. Will be going back to the Bountiful location.

Driving on UT roads and got a flat. Unrepairable tire, stopped in to get a tire. They took my size and I waited... and I waited, no updates. More than an hour later no tire, fed up I leave and drove down the road to discount tire, from arriving to leaving took half the time I wasted sitting at big O, awaiting a tire. Just a Big O problems.

The customer service was truly above and beyond!!! Steve took care of my Jeep right away and didn’t hesitate to get me right in line to getting my new tires. I also needed some help checking out my engine and his mechanic Matt really knew everything that was needed for my car to be serviced. I recommend anyone who needs tires to go to BIG O in Bountiful! For the best service in town hands down !!!!!!!

Shady , dishonest and upselling!..I went in to buy 4 tires for my Hummer when they posted sale outside and the prices were just the same no discount, but i still purchased them as i had to anyway ! $1500 and 4 hours of waiting later, here is the guy from Big O ( named Steve) coming out with a piece of paper telling me it definitely needs alignment for an extra $100. I told him the alignment was done less than 500 miles ago along with a full front end service was done !! He said it needs alignment ( even tried to convince me the other shop didnt do it while I was there looking at them doing it!! Yeah right)and he wouldnt do it for free when I asked if he can make up my long wait time that exceeded 3 times the time promised ! Never again !!

I just had to get air in my tires. But the young man that helped me was so kind and thoughtful. The people at Big O have always been that way. I appreciate their knowledge and expertise and I appreciate their level of professionalism mixed with genuine kindness.

Steve did a great job... he handled a customer today quite well and was so polite. Customer was really escalated and attacked him personally, classic karen. He really was cool though, Tyler too. Hopefully their managers see this and know, they did a good job and she was way out of line.

I was very disappointed that the front staff did not wear masks, I did. It was impossible to stay a clear 6 away from him. Even the staff were close to each other and share a phone even. Although he was knowledgeable and price were slightly lower. I will have to go where they care about my safety. I am 66 and diabetic. I will GO TO Discount Tire.

I went to Big O to get new rims and tires and Steve helped me out! He walked me through everything, was so knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable about making a big purchase for my car. I tell everyone to go see Steve!

I took my car in to Big O yesterday morning for an emmissions test and a tire rotation. They called to tell me that 3 repairs were needed that would cost $1200 or more. I called the dealership for my car to see if any of it would be covered under my service warranty and they said that didnt sound right for my specific car. I decided to have the dealership check to be sure and my car is just fine. I am sick by how much money Ive spent at this location of Big O Tires and I wont be trusting them again.

A little slow to get done

Im very frustrated with this location. I have gone in exactly 3 times for repairs, and every time they do something wrong. Their most recent repair resulted in me having to replace a tire (that should have been easily patched). I will not be visiting this location again.

This place is a total joke, do not waste your time.I told the bothered rep that my check engine light was on. I was told they would charge me 1 HR mechanic wages to check the codes and then the annoyed rep proceeded to list all of the things they would not repair such as emission related issues. Left, drove a bit further to my regular BIg O. They diagnosed and repaired the issue.

Big O Tires was great to work with in finding us new tires and repairs for our Lexus. Steve was respectful, professional and helpful and we enjoyed working with him to correct the problems we were experiencing with our car.

I stopped by on a Thursday to get a on front brake pads I was d $170 I took my car down there on SATURDAY to have the front brake pads replaced, as Elliott was looking at my vehicle he advised that the back brake pads and rotors also needed to be replaced he proceeded to tell me that the cost of the back pads and rotors were less expensive than the front both my husband and I agreed to have the back rotors and back pads replaced along with the front pads only.Elliott told me he would keep it under a $1000 which I thought in my mind it should be Well under $1000 ,when I picked up my vehicle my bill with $946 I immediately asked to look at the itemised sheet as I was looking at the sheet I noticed that he had replaced the front rotors we never talked about replacing the front rotors they did not need to be replaced !!! I spent well over 300.00 more then what I had planned on. When I brought it to his attention he said that I said to do it all. Which I did, meaning the front pads and the rear pads and rotors..... Elliott said the only thing he would do to make it right was to put my old rotors back on the front. I WILL NEVER EVER TAKE A VECHILE TO THIS BIG O LOCATION AGAIN, I feel like I was totally taken advantage of. He knew I didnt need front rotors but chose to replace them anyways and take another 300.00 out of my pocket. Any one that reads this review make sure you know exactly what work is being done to your vehicle and get it in writing . I give this store ZERO STARS.

Took my company van in for a odd noise. They told me the axle was bent. Took it to another shop, come to find out the brake caliper was loose. Took another company vehicle in for alighnment and tires. Less than 4 months later front tires were completely bald on the sides. Other big o location told me alighnment wasnt even done. Friend of mine had his brakes replaced by this location, didnt even make it to cedar city before the calipers grenaded themselves. Had rear differential serviced and axle seals replaced on my personal vehicle earlier this year. The entire axle grenaded itself this past weekend. Current shop says the axle seals were not even replaced. Have been leaking the whole time. I do not trust big o tires.

These guys are so wonderful to work with! They know their stuff and do the best they can to help me every time! I have greatly appreciated them, their honesty, their opinion, and their work. I recommend everyone I know to this Big O store.

Great customer service and they helped me out in a serious situation with tires. 20 minutes and I was approved for brand new tires as well as the warranty and care that Big O has always and satisfactorily achieved towards my needs/wants. I recommend Big O to anyone that needs tires, suspension work or any car care dilemmas. Go in and ask about 90 days same as cash or any other program you can take advantage of. Very professional, fast, and the mechanics werent too mad for staying 30 minutes late to set me up with some new shoes for my 4runner.

After my most recent experience at Big O Tires, I needed to share how awesome they are. I took my car in today for an issue with my tire. I dropped it off while I went to work. When I picked it up I fully expected to pay for the fix. But it was small enough (on their scale. A big deal to me) that they didn’t charge me for it. For this reason, and several others, I will always buy my tires at Big O. Specifically this location. The staff is awesome and super knowledgeable. I have taken my car in for other maintenance as well and am glad I can trust them with my car.

Gary is very knowledgeable and truly wants to make the customer happy. I needed tires on my car and he made his recommendation. After driving the car for a week I wasnt happy with the ride. I brought it back and he had the staff take a look at it. An issue that was identified was the tires were over inflated and the balance was slightly off. He made the corrections and I am grateful he took the time and worked with the staff to satisfy me. If I didnt have to come back I would have rated 5 stars. I understand that we all can have an off day at work. I would recommend Big O for your next set of tires.

They were the only place in the greater Salt Lake Area that carried the brand of tire (yokohama) that I wanted.It was quick and easy. The customer service was superb and I was in an out in no time at all.

They refused service to me when I had my tired low, I just asked for air on my tire because it was too late already. Bad service

Quick tire purchase and swap. Staff is awesome.

They had quick service a few times i was there but getting transmission took a little more than 2 hours to get done. I was stuck waiting there and didnt have another ride. They didnt know what time it would be done and kept adding time everytime I would ask when it will be finished. What adds to it is that another family member experienced the same thing. Some people who showed up later than me to get their fixed only had to wait 20-30 minutes.

Though I was only in for the state registration, safety & emissions, Big-O Bountiful was able to get me in and out. This is a busy shop but they do good work. The staff was friendly. For a tire shop, this place was clean! My kids felt comfortable playing in the play area.I would recommend this Big-O Tires. Just plan ahead as this shop is very busy.

Flat tire to find out my tires are worn out. They got me in and out fast. 4 stars because Im a little surly because my tires were worn and I had to buy a new set. They found me new tires at a decent price. Doesnt reflect on Big O, just my bad attitude on an unexpected expense. :)

You can find the exact same tires online much less expensive, like 50 to 70 dollars per tire less. The trade off is then you have to pay for installation, repairs, road hazard, balancing, etc. However, you would still come out ahead.Also paid $90.00 for an allignment. I am not sure why that costs so much since there are no new parts and it takes 15 minutes.But I think Big-O is in about the same price range as the competition, except for online.One word of caution.... I heard a tire sales person tell another customer they needed an air filter and brakes. They quoted her $20.00 for the filter (probably about right) and $110.00 for the brakes. She could buy a really good high quality, set of brake pads for $45.00 at a car parts store. They are easy and fast to fix, so the rest is all profit for Big-O.
