Competent and honest general mechanics and used cars. I have been using them for decades, and its now being staffed by third generation family members. They stand behind their work, even if the place looks a little run down. They sometimes take longer than estimated to get the work done. Conveniently located in downtown Bountiful. They are usually also working on some classic car restorations that can be interesting.

I have never had to bring my car back after service with them because they get it done right. Its great to have a mechanic who knows me by name who I can trust to do a good job.

I have bought two cars from Lifetime Automotive, and have been very happy with the price and the experience. My father bought cars from Carls Fine Cars, which was the current owners father, and that name is still on the front of the building. They have a repair shop, but I have not used their repair services. They dont have a big used car selection on the lot, so ask the owner to show you what he has, and tell him what you need, and he might be able to get it for you.
