The service she provided was nurturing to my skin and my soul, truly a healing experience overall. Best hair experience in my life with Sierra, every time we create a fresh new look that has me feeling like a million bucks and getting compliments everywhere I go. Sierra has an eye for color as she does for cutting. Ive never had a hair stylist I could call my own but after working with Sierra I would be hard pressed to find someone as fun, easygoing and talented to work with as her. Ive always had somewhat vanilla hairstyles in the past but now sierra gives me something that compliments my adventurous and creative side, just see for yourself! Love this place, super clean, well run. I go for facials (Perrin) and mani pedis (Connie and Jenny) and have never been disappointed. I stopped going for a while when I moved from north Boulder to south Boulder but after a year trying to find something I liked as much in south Boulder Im back at Orange Poppy. It is worth the (short) drive.

I have followed Aurelia from Denver to boulder. She is worth any long drive. She is very precise with her work and takes pride. Last time she used a sugar wax on me and I loved how much time it saved us. She is the best! I highly recommend her! Thank you for always taking care of me!

I booked a custom dazzle dry pedicure and am very pleased with the results. Jenny is very detail oriented and gentle. My toes look beautiful! The polish is holding up well even though Ive jammed them here and there and dropped things on them... The area is very well ventilated and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back!

Shout out to Sierra at Orange Poppy! Sierra is a pro with savvy, cool color technique and I look forward to future exploration.Also, I was very pleased to learn about the sustainable practices of Orange Poppy. The gloves, foils and leftover color is recycled AND they upcycle cut hair! It is collected and used to soak up oil spills. Thats great stuff.

I dont usually write reviews for salons because I dont usually think spending an hour in a salon is a fun thing. That feeling changed completely when Sierra gave me one of the best experiences of my life. Im very non-descriptive with what I like to have done and Sierra took the time to talk me through what she felt would look good on me. She discussed multiple aspects of my hair and how she would cut and style it. Ive never even been asked several of the questions she took the time to ask me about.I told her I trusted her to do what she felt would look good, even though it was different than I had in the past. The results were incredible. I couldnt believe how exciting and young she made my hair look. I could help but smile ear to ear as I left the salon. Sierra is a really true artist and I couldnt be paid to find someone else. Ive never thought about how different my experience could be with the right stylist. I dont think you could pay me to sit in another salons chair.Sierra was also incredibly easy to talk to and checked with me throughout the whole process to ensure I was comfortable and happy with the direction she was taking me.The spa was also impressive in its use of environment-friendly and high-quality products. Sierra spent even more time with me to go through how she thought I would want to style my hair. She was full of several ideas and actually did a style that created waves in my curly hair that no one has ever done before. The results were amazing. I have never paid much attention to my hair in the past, however, I quickly picked up the product she used and will be continuing to style it with her easy to follow instructions.What an incredible experience that I will be repeating often! What a rock star!

Excellent facial by Perrin, the owner. I cant wait to go again, and am happy to find such a professional and inviting spa here in Boulder. The microcurrent technology they use is state-of-the-art, and I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing pampering experience. They also have excellent products. Great experience at Orange Poppy! Right when I came in the sweet receptionist offered me tea and coffee. The person who cut my hair was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I just sat down told her kind of what I was thinking and she was able to give me an amazing haircut. Also, she curled my hair at the end and I had gorgeous flowing locks all day. Thanks orange Poppy! Ill be back.

What an awesome salon! The decor and ambiance are perfect, professional, clean and welcoming. I wanted a new look (I was about to turn 40) and after talking to Jen, she told me that she knew exactly what would look good. She googled some photos to show me and I loved the look she had in mind. I also love the fact that they use Aveda and Kevin Murphy products. Jen did an amazing job on my hair and I love my new style. It is a lot shorter than it was, which I was afraid of, but she did such a great job and it was amazing how she knew what would look good on me. She also gave me great advise on how to style it at home, as I was really nervous about not being able to make it look good and I am happy to say, as someone who does not consider herself very talented with styling hair, I can make it look really good, thanks to Jens advice and the few techniques she showed me! Go to this salon, you wont be disappointed!

I had a mani/pedi with Connie and she was an absolute delight! She was very professional and meticulous. And great conversation, as well. This location isnt super convenient relative to where I live/work, but I will happily go out of my way to come back for the excellent service provided here.

My appointment at this salon has been cancelled at the last minute on two separate occasions. I am a understanding person and get that life happens, but I think it is totally unacceptable to cancel an appointment an hour ahead of the scheduled time. TWICE! I have a little boy, work full-time and had to get a sitter scheduled to make it to my appointment, that was cancelled....TWICE! After expressing my concerns with the manager, I was offered another appointment for a month out at a time that didnt work for my schedule. Not exactly proactive customer service. I will no longer be patronizing this business and am disappointed that another precious Saturday of mine was wildly disrupted because this business did not have the common courtesy to provide customers with the same cancellation policy they have in place.

I have never been a skin care person but as Im getting older, Im realizing that getting a facial every month or so is probably a good idea. I had no idea where to start and Im so glad I went to Orange Poppy. I can see such a difference in my skin and I started going about every 6-8 weeks about a year or so ago. Ive tried a couple of the aesthetician and Brandee is my favorite. She knows exactly what I need and Ive left every time feeling like I have brand new skin. I love that they also do nails so if Im headed to a wedding, I can just add it on and get it all done at once.

The owner of Orange Poppy reached out to me, and apologized herself. She then said she would refund my money. I appreciate this so much, and do hope her success with her business.Horrible. They absolutely destroyed my hair, and then charged me a huge sum of money, and blamed me for the miscommunication. Apparently I didnt understand that textured, means frizz. I had to go to another salon and have 2 inches cut off. I should have more cut off, but then I would have a pixie cut, and Ive been trying to grow my hair. The owner of Orange Poppy agreed to give me a free chemical/heat treatment, to improve my hair, but after reading about the treatment, and the risks of it, I was way too nervous to let them come anywhere near my hair. They did tell me that the treatment would not return my hair to the way it was, but would improve it for a few weeks. They absolutely refused to refund my money. They stylist at the other salon I went to said that my hair had been way over processed.Every day I have a sink, and shower full of broken hair, and have spent another large amount of money (not at Orange Poppy), on conditioning treatments, and new products. I would not recommend this salon at all. Not because of my ruined hair, I think everyone makes a mistake, but because of the fact they blamed me, and would not refund my money.
