I am a frequent customer at Lotus nail salon and I am always pleased with the results. The nail technicians are extremely professional, clean and detail-oriented. All the workers are friendly. I often get a dip powder manicure and it is reasonably priced. If you are not satisfied with your manicure, you can request to get it fixed at a discounted rate. I highly recommend this Boulder business!

Ive been going here for 4 years and I swear this is the best nail salon in the Denver metro area. Their prices are unbeatable for the quality of their service!! I dont even live in Boulder anymore but I happily travel the commute to get my nails done here! Every employee at Lotus is extremely skilled. You cant go wrong with Lotus Nails!!

So this was my first experience in this nail salon.First red flag : the tech that did my nails was no nose covering mask wearer, while sniffling the whole time ! Not exactly instilling any trust. She also seemed in a lot of rush , so the manicure hurt. I wasnt really impressed with gel manicure: uneven , cuticles not cut all the way , polish doesnt cover the whole nail. And then only 5 days later it also started peeling on multiple nails. Let me also tell you that I do gel nails on myself and this ended up looking worse than what I can do .Very unsatisfied . I will be calling to request a re-do, and will see if my rating changes .

I went in and saw Howie, the owner of the salon, & he made my ombré acrylic nails perfect! I had previously saw another guy who didn’t do my nails as asked, Howie reached out to me immediately after & asked for me to come in another day so he can do my nails exactly how I wanted. I was pleasantly surprised by how courteous & kind he was to bring me back ASAP to do exactly what I wanted. He was funny, kind, & very gentle with my acrylics. I’m beyond shocked (in the best way possible) by the customer service & will continue to go to Lotus to have Howie do my nails.

I came here once and showed the guy what I wanted and he did an amazing job. It looked just what I wanted from the Pinterest picture. It’s definitely on the pricey side for nails but these nail techs are worth your money!!

They were able to make an appointment for me in thirty minutes when I called them, they were really nice and fairly priced. I payed $46 for a full set. They do clear acrylic them paint them whatever color you asked for. I dont think they have colored acrylic but that was fine, I love the way my nails turned out!

This place has exceptional customer service, I will say that. The staff was so kind and courteous to me. The manager of the salon greeted me and got me settled into my appointment. I had a deluxe pedicure and a gel manicure. I will say that I was disappointed with my nail tech’s work. While I tipped him well and he deserved his tip when it came to conversation and kind demeanor, unfortunately his work was subpar. There is a lot of evidence in my photos that the work is sloppily done. I’m hoping to give this place another chance, but I am a little disheartened as I spent $80 for my mani pedi and tipped $30 to the technicians who did my toenails and hands ($15 each).

We went here on their opening weekend and thought it looked fresh, new and beautiful. Ricki was great but I didnt get him, I got someone else who couldnt keep track of how many coats she had done on my gel nails. She also kept forgetting to put my nails under the light. I ended up getting a lot fixed by Ricki before leaving. My nails looked great the first day or so, but then they started to chip. They didnt last a week. I think it was because she didnt pay attention to the process and they didnt set properly. They started to chip around the edges and didnt take much to take off all in one go. I wont be going back.

I had a bad experience but they had me go back and tony fixed my nails I am really happy with the work he did and look forward to going back next time I need my nails done

Super friendly staff and well-equipped to deal with walk-ins (of which I was one). Good massage chairs and a wide variety of pedicure packages to choose from. The mid-grade one I chose was very pleasant and thorough. The staff seems to be in a pleasant mood overall, which I generally take to mean they arent being treated poorly. There was a place to tip each individual staff member via Venmo QR code scan. Good covid procedures in place. The music wasnt great, in my opinion, but not too overbearing to enjoy the massage chair. Got a shellac French manicure and it looks nice. Every station has individual UV drying boxes, which I find to be better than trekking back and forth to a light table. Prices were reasonable and it wasnt too fast or too slow. Overall a really good experience.

Came in with a picture of what nails i wanted and got the exact thing i loved my nails the guy who did my nails did an amazing job.

Definitely have reasonable prices and friendly staff. Was in and out fairly quick. Been here multiple times and every time they make sure needs are met. Quality of nails is great and lasted for about 3-4 weeks. This past week though I got my nails done (acrylics) and for some reason it started to chip on day 5. Was bit disappointed but more or so shocked as every other time my nails lasted for decent amount of time. Hope next time it will be better

Would not recommend this nail salon, 5 of mine broke within 48 hours of getting them done, when I went back to get them fixed the person painted a completely different color on them and was rude and unhelpful. Super unprofessional and not bad quality, huge waste of money.

EXCELLENT. GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Only salon I could find in Boulder that is doing modern style/design nails..Specifically the dipping with tips. Literally hundreds of color options! I was very happy with my first visit to Lotus Nails this morning. It is a large and recently updated salon with pedicures on one side and manicures on the other. It is well ventilated so that during my pedicure I couldn’t smell anything from the other side.I had a pedicure with gel polish and a manicure and was super pleased with the results. My tech was friendly, careful and efficient, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. They also have waxing and lots of other services.They are implementing every COVID-19 caution with distancing, masks, hand washing and other sanitization procedures. I felt completely safe. This is my new favorite nail salon and I highly recommend it for everyone!

Got acrylics done here by Howie, and he did my nails very fast and did them extremely well! An amazing place! My nails look beautiful. I am visiting Boulder and I am 100% certain the people in this place are way more talented than the place I go to back home. Wish I lived closer!

I have been here many times even before they remodeled and had their grand opening. Their business has grown but in the process. They have lost a lot of important details and customer service skills. They are constantly over booked and bringing in more people they can handle. Ive had very unprofessional experiences since, lost their attention to details ..

I got Acrylics with gel and the workers were very kind and helpful. My nails ended up breaking within the week and Howie was super kind and fixed them and gave me a discount. He’s the best nail tech I’ve ever had! Howie is amazing, I recommend going to Howie at Lotus nails!

I rated this place a three because I didnt get what I asked for. I asked specifically for soft set powder blue nails; what I got was an ugly, garish polish that didnt look like its sample over powder. Not only did I show them specifically, but I asked them multiple times with photos. The man I was with didnt listen. If you want a quality set, go elsewhere or try getting the Asian lady with long nails who speaks very clear English or the young man with tattoos. (The nails she had on looked very nice, and the man did a wonderful job on my companions.) Regardless, I am not pleased, and I do not like what I received. I have major glue crust under my nails.However, they were efficient in doing my nails. They were quick, timely, and did not make small awkward talk. The shop was very clean, and other than not recieving what I asked for, the service was pleasant and did not feel awkward. Other than the actual nail, Id rate it a four or five. Factoring in the nail, however, it is a two or three. If I was able to rate it so, it would be a 2.5.

This is my place. I got acrylics for the first time to treat myself 7 months ago and came here because I was already in Boulder for the day, and now I keep coming back from Denver. Ricky did my first set, and what an incredible job - insane attention to detail, took his time, is a perfectionist, but also skilled enough to do a fantastic job impressively fast. They were shaped perfectly. Hes also a sweetheart to boot. I cross my fingers that Ill get him again every time, because I know they arent fans of requests for certain people :)The others whove worked on me since (Howie, and a woman whose name I forgot) also did an amazing job - any complaints about service would be nit-picky; all I care about is the result, which is consistently great. Im there to get my nails done, not be treated like royalty, which, after reading a lot of salon reviews, seems to be what many expect. I cant comment on cleanliness and sanitation because, again, I really dont care, but I also never get full mani/pedis.My *only* critique - I wish they had more colors! Greens, oranges, neutrals and such. But now I know I can bring my own, so whatever!

Four days later and my gel manicure is completely coming off. There were bubbles all in it. My guess is they had a new mail tech who didn’t know the right things to use. I wouldn’t go here ever again. Wayyy to expensive for a four day manicure.

I was a walk in today and my nail tech was Ricky. I wanted a pink to white ombre set with white flower decal on both ring fingers. Excellent quality and I am satisfied with my nails. I loved the warm, happy environment.

I got a cute Louis Vuitton full Set shellac and they did amazing! The employees there are so nice. I’ve been too so many other nail salons and this is by far the best one so far! They try everything to male sure you are satisfied with your nails!!

Every single person I’ve met who has worked here is so friendly! My gel manicures always last at least 2 weeks and regular pedicures at least 1 month. I’ve never had a bad experience here and the prices are good considering the rest of Boulder!

They had absolutely wonderful customer service. Not only that, but they offered great care with the work they do. I got a pedicure and gel manicure and both were some of the best quality I have had from any salon. I will definitely be coming back!

My mom and I went to get a manicure and pedicure together today and I was beyond impressed. I got a shellac manicure and pedicure costing $45 and my mothers mani/pedi was only $35 total. My nails and feet have suffered in the dry weather and they were detailed in cleaning them up. I also suffer from ingrown toenails and she spent extra time to thoroughly cut and trim I out. They were meticulous and asked questions the whole way through to ensure satisfaction. The finishing is even and smooth. My mother also received good information on proper nail care and will now change her home routine as well. What a good perk! They move to a new building with better ventilation and more seating within the next four months and we cannot wait to see what upgrades they will make. We both noted that customer satisfaction is extremely important to them.

Made me wait 40 minutes when I had a scheduled appointment, kept yelling questions at me while they were working on another girls nails so the whole salon was just gawking at me as they asked me to repeat myself, they hurt my nail when removing my previously broken tip which I had got done there which was also poor quality, and then they used an electric drill bit on my raw nail which hurt a lot :( within two days one nail has already broken, they didn’t do the design I wanted so I just settled for some other color which I had to pick within two minutes

Howie was my nail tech and when I tell you he went off he went off!! I’m from the south and when come. To nails I don’t play around! But he did do awesome and but my ideas to life! And if you like. Long nails like me definitely go here ask for anyone but howie is my personal favorite ‼️❤️ Be back after my trip to Vegas Thanks howie !!!

Best pedicure I’ve gotten in a long time- great massage and attention to detail. Howie did my rebase and did an amazing job! He made sure the shape and length was good and tweaked anything I asked. 100% will go back here and recommend them to anyone looking for a go to nail place in Boulder.

I am from out of town and needed a place quickly to get a dip powder manicure. I needed my old gel removed and new applied with one solid color. I paid $49 for that. Mini was very fun, professional, and friendly. They were busy when I arrived but they maintain SD, Masks, and a very clean area.

This hurts me because I’ve been going to this place for 4 years now but I just got so disappointed in the service I got today. I called to fix my nails because they were broken, on the phone I literary said my NAILS broke and when I went in I even showed both hands that had the broken nails and after he did one hand he said he had another appointment and couldn’t fix my nails and basically just said bye. He didn’t even ask a different person and I was even willing to pay to fix my nails but he was just so rude to me. There’s no way I’m ever going back.

I am so happy I found Lotus Nails! I had my first appointment on 7/17 for a fill-in and to fix some messy acrylics I had from a different nail salon and Tony did an amazing job taking the time to fix the shape of my nails! Now my coffin nails are all even and on point. I will definitely be a loyal customer from now on. The price is really good for the quality you receive and the time/energy the stylist put in. I have had my nails done at various spots in boulder and I finally found a nail salon I will actually stick with from now on for sure. Amazing quality. Awful experience been going there for a long time and they messed up my nails. You could see the particles from the dip in which had never happened and refused to offer a discount so I paid $100 for them to do nails awful contempo nails would never do that.

I have an amendment to my review. I still think Nini is the best. 5 stars, clean, professional, on time, and good quality, not a moment to wait, (I did make an appt.), She trimmed cuticles, and the dipping would have lasted longer than 2 weeks if my nails did not grow. However, she was on vacation yesterday and I had a miserable experience in the salon with Howie, the manager, doing my nails. He dipped & used gel on the tips. He said he told me but I could not understand his English. I thought dipping meant dipping. He left dust beneath the layers of sealant and neither trimmed the cuticles nor pushed them back. He filed my nails paper thin because he was in a hurry to get the previous dip color off. And...he answered the phone at least five times, spent the time with me monitoring everyone else, and actually left a nail mid-coating! Getting up and talking and taking money from other customers happened miminimally, 8 times. I have no idea how he arrived at the price because nothing was posted, although I think he charged initially for both gel and dipping. When I complained, he said he told me about the gel on the tips. He did take $5 off the job. The response from whomever is ultimately in charge was to talk to the manager. Well, he is...... I was going to get a pedicure but did not. Although I think Nini is the best, Im not sure I will return because of Howie.

Jenny was great! I was a walk-in early in the morning and she took me immediately. I was in serious need of a new nail salon as I was not happy with my last place. This place is so clean and nice! I was treated gently and they took off ALL the old nail dip the way it is to be done. My nail beds were not abused as what was happening in the past at my old place, due to rushing. Everyone is friendly and wants you to have a good experience. I will be back!!

Extremely friendly staff, very accommodating, makes sure to ask how you like things done. They are also taking lots of covid precautions which I liked. Decent price as well, and if there are cheaper places this one is worth the couple extra bucks.

I have worn acrylic nails on and off for years, and I can happily say that these are the MOST BEAUTIFUL acrylic nails, and most comfortable salon experience that I have ever had. The shop was revamped 4 months ago by Tony and Howey; they are proud business men whom take SERIOUS pride in their work. This is a family owned operation, and everyone here met me with respect, comfort and quality. I have had acrylic sets that were upwards of $60 before, and none of them were as smooth and thin as these; I felt that all my needs were heard, and Howey met all of my requests. Howey was gentle, and he took his time with all 10 of my fingers- we had delightful conversation the whole time, and never once did I feel uncomfortable (Howey speaks 3 languages! Can you believe that?!). I would give this shop a 7/5 if google would allow me to. Best nail salon in Boulder.

Lady walked out on my best friend on her wedding day to get her nails done. We told her it was her wedding day and she just up and left. Another lady ended up saving the day. Crazy experience. Not what you want to deal with in your wedding day. Very unprofessional...No I will not remove. This is the right place. Happened 5 weeks ago before your “remodel “

I got a matte black manicure. The shape is inconsistent, the dip was uneven and lumpy in places, which she did not fix. The matte polish caused little white bumps to form - which looks cheap and messy. The dip left black residue in my skin and there was black polish all over my fingers. 2 hours and $65 later... DO NOT GO HERE. Will never be back.

Got a dip manicure on 6/1 for their grand opening and it was amazing!!! They have so many colors to choose from which was awesome, plus everything was so clean with the new precautions of COVID. Then I accidentally broke my nail yesterday (so bad!!! My nail was broken in half under the dip because I was stupid and broke it slamming my hand into a wall) and went in to see Howie to get it fixed. He was great at texting to get me an appointment and he saw how badly I damaged my nail and was so gentle to be sure not to hurt me. So so so incredible would highly recommend!!!

Great fill! Friendly staff! Reasonably priced! Love this place! I have lived in Boulder for 6 years and this is the first place I have found that does an amazing job for a wonderful price! I am really picky about my nails but there wasn’t anything to pick at. I got a pink powder fill and my nails were even, perfectly shaped, and did not have any bumps. They lasted four weeks without chipping or falling off! This is also the first place that has not upcharged for every little thing and that has not given me any trouble about getting color on only my tips. They did a full perfect fill in 20min and they didn’t charge a ridiculously expensive price (as is common for salons in Boulder) I will definitely be coming back!

Best nail salon in Boulder, without a doubt! Tony has been my nail technician for a year and a half and I am thrilled each time I leave the salon. He recently did my nails for my wedding and I got SO MANY compliments! I’ve also had several pedicures as well and I always feel pampered and very happy with my feet, not just my toes. The staff here is genuinely friendly and seeks to provide top notch customer service. The selection of colors (regular, gel, or powder dip) is impressive. And then, when you go to check out you’ll be amazed at how inexpensive their services are! To receive the quality of work at those prices is a pleasant surprise for your wallet. And in Boulder that’s pretty rare! I am so bummed they’ll be closed for a few months as they prepare their new space next door and get settled in, but I can’t wait to visit them there!Be ready to visit them when they reopen! You won’t be disappointed!

Lotus Nails was fantastic and I would be happy to recommend this place to anyone!I got gel nails (hands) and a normal pedicure. The technician I had did a wonderful job! Its been several days since Ive gone and my nails are in great condition: no bubbles in the paint, no chips, and the sides of my nails were painted to perfection (which, sadly, a lot of people miss - but not her!). My friend got a pedicure and loved the experience as well.The next time Im in Boulder and looking for nail service, I wont hesitate to come back to Lotus Nails. Its definitely one of the best places Ive been for nails!
