Had a custom-built PC that was randomly rebooting and Andy did a thorough shakedown of components to isolate the problem on the motherboard. I ordered new parts and he was able to install components, migrate data, and configure components with a quick turn-around. Good communication, super reasonable prices, and great attention to detail. WOW! I know a fair amount about computers, but had a problem i couldnt fix after four hours. I called Computer Express. The guy who answered the phone had me briefly explain the problem. On the phone, he told me to click one of the buttons, then another, and after clicking different buttons five or ten times, the problem disappeared! He fixed it over the phone in two minutes!!! He refused any compensation!Thank you, Computer Express!

I didnt call ahead despite him asking me too. After calling Epson support, I was told to put my NX400 printer in the garbage. Lucky for me I found PC Express!!! Andrew made a “COVID appointment” for me and I was there in 45 minutes. 15 minutes later, I walked out the door with my printer, good as new. I can’t recommend this place enough! I had a great experience here. I was struggling to schedule appointments around town within a two week window for someone to check out what I thought was a charging port issue on my older laptop. Andrew responded to my inquiry within a business day and had an appointment scheduled for me later that afternoon. After his inspection, he was honest and up front with me about the bigger problems with my computer and didnt pressure me to pay him to fix something that wasnt worth fixing. In the end, I decided I would just need to buy a new laptop and he even gave me tips on what to look for. Very great service and I would recommend to anyone!

I didn’t know that this business is not taking walk-ins. I opened the door for less than two seconds and was stunned by their behavior. The owner (or the assistant, I am not sure) was extremely rude. Instead of saying, “Could you please wait outside, we will be right there with you” like a normal business owner in town, he “told” me “to read the sign and follow the directions, and shut the door” in the most impolite way possible. Extremely discourteous and unprofessional!

I never went! the guy on the phone cared more about his $4800 computer build than answering my questions. I decided to call Microcenter, they answered my question in two minutes for free my pc build was able to POST.

Andrew was quick, helpful, friendly and honest. He told me my computer fan is going out and the repair would be pricey, probably not worth it for the old machine I have, but he still took the time to clean up some stuff internally and even physically cleaned it. And he ultimately was able to fix the issue I brought it in for. He spent about 20-30 mins with my computer and talked me through the process all for the price of essentially a tip. Thank you!

World class service. I was greeted by Andy, and explained to him that I had a complicated problem with an older PC. After a brief discussion and diagnosis, he determined that he could salvage the hard drive and install it into another machine.....WHAT?..I didnt even know that was an option. (I better step my game up, because this guy is a veritable genius.)I told him that I wasnt in a particular rush, and he had it finished and running in about a week. He managed to save all of the software and provide me with a different machine that runs SO much better now.Thanks again Andy! Ill give you more business in the future.

Bohemian feel. Dog hair everywhere. Good service. Did a great job fixing the hinge on my sons gaming laptop. Parts were not readily available so Andrew suggested improvising an anchor point to hold the chassis together by drilling a new hole and securing it with a bolt. My son was a bit sceptical, but the fix worked great!

I came in to have Windows 10 installed in my desktop; they gave my hardware the once over to make sure everything was put together properly, checked my hard drives for problems, got everything cleaned up and assembled properly and had my computer ready to go in a day. Excellent long-term support

GREAT experience! My companys accounting hard drive died and we were quoted data retrieval prices of $395 to $2,000 (those were estimates only--no hard pricing was available anywhere), and would have had to have mailed the drive out of town. I made about a dozen desperate calls to local computer repair shops, and the last one told me, Call PC Express. Seriously. Just do it. This is the kind of thing theyre awesome at. I did, and Andrew saw me the same day, opened the box up, instantly figured out that something had just come unplugged and needed a new battery. He ran diagnostics to make sure everything was actually working, then put it all back together. I paid a couple of bucks for the battery and $49 for the diagnostic time. I WOULD RECOMMEND PC EXPRESS ANY TIME!!!

I never do reviews, but this time i have to do it. My friend had went for a laptop repair, after diagnosis they informed that it was a motherboard issue. So my friend got his laptop back and after ckminc home i found that the 8 gig ram stick was missing. These people straight up stealed that and on top of that charged 89 dollars for inspection.Please be aware of these kind of shops and try to avoid them.

I recently bought a new computer from these guys. I highly recommend at least getting advice on how to build a computer from these guys because they know what they are talking about. I priced out my own computer and it ended up being 40% higher buying or on my own than it was buying it through them. They corrected errors I would have made and gave solid advice on which components I needed and others I didnt really need. I had them build a decent gaming machine for me at a reasonable price and I would highly recommend spending a little extra money to get valuable advice.

I was in Boulder on business when my laptop started acting up again. My computer guy back home said he had fixed the problem, but apparently he did not. Andrew at PC Express jumped on the problem immediately and solved the crisis. His awesome hunting dog, Wyatt, kept me entertained while I waited.I received prompt, reliable and affordable service and would highly recommend PC Express to anyone.

On one side, Andrew is meticulous: while I asked him to do 1 thing, he did 10 more.On the other side, he charged me an extra $ 80 for work I did not ask him to do, kept my computer for 5 days (when the job I asked him to do took just a few hours), and then I had to spend 1 hour uninstalling the 8 programs he installed that I dont want, reinstalling the 1 program he deleted, and getting another program to work that no longer worked after he made so many changes to my computer. Also, he deleted my cookies, so I had to re-enter all my log-ins.So, if you insist that he ONLY do the work you need, youll be happy. Otherwise, you may not.

I went to the store, was waiting for half an hour for diagnosis, after the half hour he could not fix it which is understandable, but before I left he started saying that he hates these type of laptops and started swearing that he does not want to fix them, also the most disrespectful part, he kinda throw my laptop in the table and there were some scratches on the back , do not come to this store trust me its just a waste of time and the guy who works there is not professional

My experience here was very good. The repair price is very fair and when Andrew was explaining the problem(s) with my computer he was not rude or condescending (which has been my experience in the past with people in the computer business). About as good as it gets when dealing with a computer crash.

I went there with my PC. He said that my cpu was low on fluid, so I gave him the $250, still havent gotten my PC back.

They ordered the wrong part so it took them 4 extra days to do a 1 hour job. They didnt offer any kind of discount for them messing up and causing me an extra 4 days without a laptop

My voice recognition software I use for dictating patient notes had always dragged and now it was not opening. I did my usual malware scanning and disc repair, but without success. Not only did Andrew find viruses on my computer I had not detected, but diagnosed my hard drive was broken. Fortunately he had a 4-quad, 8 RAM PC he had rebuilt for gaming and sold it to me at a fair price. Im back up and running in one day, and for the first time my dictation program is operating the way it is supposed to operate. I appreciate the sincere, honest and competent service I received. This guys a hard worker, and you will like meeting his office dog. Seems like people who bring their dogs to work are good people.

Its a shame they advertise printer repair on their website, because when asked whether theyd repair mine, the answer was Its not cost effective for us to repair printers anymore.
