Cheyenne and Jamie are absolutely amazing! Incredibly helpful, understanding, and kind. They really made my time at St. Charles Place a pleasant experience. Although the building is older the property is well kept and the interior is very well kept and updated to current style and expectations. This place is a real gem when considering the pricing and amount of space provided. I recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice place at a more than affordable price. Thank you to the St. Charles Place staff for showing that you value your residents and strive to give them the best service possible! You guys rock!

Always good service for fast maintenance calls. New management and staff are super friendly, unlike the old management. I’d definitely recommend living here with the staff they have now! Even the property looks better, and when you call they are quick to take care of you. New management is respectful and professional.

This complex used to be decent when owned by bh management and now they are complete disappointment. Nobody answers the phone in the front they keep the door locked so nobody can come in to at least get answers when you need something. The shyane or whatever her name is hides behind her apartment that is on site never deals with anything or anyone. They don’t even have inspections on the units to see what’s going on in people apartment. I have had multiple leaks especially in the bathrooms and I can never get a hold of anyone and when I do they take years to fix the issue. No pest inspections no ax unit inspections none whatsoever. But if you late to pay the rent the well for sure stay on top of that. I wouldn’t recommend this complex to anyone which is why my lease will be up in 2 months and I’m OUT.

Ive been a resident for almost 2 years now and I have had no problems. I think its a great place to live. Since they have changed out the staffing I really enjoy talking with everyone in the office, super nice and professional. Misty and Veronica thanks so much for making sure that my work order was taken care of. I definitely would recommend this property

I called several times to get information over a two week period. Finally I travelled 8 hours to see the place because I thought that it would just be best to visit since I couldn’t get info via the phone. When I got there the lady pushed me away even though the sign said that if an appointment is made (which I was trying to do) they can tour and give info.She literally said “yeah we aren’t doing anything like that. You need to look online. I don’t even have anything till may” I said that may was when I was looking to move in and once agin she pushed me away and she said to go online. The sheet outside of the door said to call with questions about leasing and I literally called 5 minutes after leaving just for it to go to voicemail...AGAIN. So rude.I was highly considering the place. Then I realized that I’d rather live in a place where the property manager is willing to be kind and help someone with questions...

The WORST managements (went through 3 the 3 years I was there) minus the ones they have now.. St. Charles Place better hope they still have the ladies that were there when I left! 😬.. But one good thing is that it was never too terribly bad for the price you pay! It served its purpose!! 👌

Good customer service and fast

They have really good service there they fix stuff right away that needs to be fixed ! All of the apartments are really well taken care of, the people in the office are really sweet and willing to make sure everyone is good that stay there !

I move in today Jamie was very personal my apt was updated my apt meet my standards very clean and it smells very clean I would recommend these apartments and there costumer services were very good love my new apartment

Worst management I have ever experienced , harassment from employee & her boyfriend that’s the police officer. At night they were seen on multiple occasions looking through cars by different residents I have talked too. Called on several occasions to fix things in my apartment and didn’t. Air conditioner was messed up and all they did was turn it off then came back the next morning to turn it on and called it “fixed”. Very very horrible management. Wouldn’t recommend to a stray cat !

Staff has shaped up with lots of transition and on the grind to make property the best. The manager Misty is very knowledgable and friendly. She will evict though if rent not paid. I would recommend 5/5.

I have lived here for well over a year, I love living here. The only negative I had was that it took so long for the hot water to kick in. I had to run the kitchen sink, the bathroom and the tub all at the same time to get it to kick in. Even after doing that, it still took 20 minutes. The new apartment manager just fixed all of that, I have instant hot water and I am extremely grateful for the work she is doing. In my honest opinion, she is absolutely amazing for getting to the route of the problem and listening to the tenants. She is my new hero!!!! Thank you so very much.

1 star because really negative 5 stars! dk not move here leasjbg office the worst. We recently moved out due to non renewal because my babysitter comes to my home. False accusations and discrimination because we are not white Cheyanne and jamie are the worst professionals not to mention poorly dressed to represent a management company. Their property officer needs to be under investigation to be with a married woman and living together onsite harassing all Way to go Westdale. This place has gone downhill since Misty is no longer there.

Well I drove in today and looked over the property and renovated units. Looks very nice and charming. I understand maybe some of the bad reviews in the past, but its definitely improved and the new look is pleasing.

Poor handling of the customer with selective placement rather than respective conduct by the manager who basically gave a place away that i was interested in with effort of contact while knowing it was handled by another person who took care of methere were a lot helpful people there FROM OUT OF TOWN trying to get me in a nice place and ive been trying to move in here. one woman was very helpful and had everything setup to move in. i asked about the application and deposit, but was told that everything was done online and that i would receive the deposit price after it went through. That was until the manager who even seen me, made eye contact with me and halfway greeted me with oh youre the guy i talk to on the phone came right behind the young woman and gave the very place i was setup to have away... i left my name, number, and email address, but was given no heads ups. because we know in the apt game prices change day by day and the manager handled that poorly in every way

The WORST complex Ive ever lived in. The employees sit around on golf carts all day. Any maintenance is scheduled last minute. Your issues do not get fixed for weeks. Office staff is rude, as in they dont even want you there. Front gate doesnt exist. The car ports are torn to hell and back. And when you call to try and figure out the problem management doesnt even answer the phone. Youre forwarded to a call center that doesnt know jack about the apartments. Can only answer generic questions. Wish I could take stars away.

This is a horrible place to live. As of April 9, 2020, the manager, and her boyfriend (Bossier Sheriff) came to my apartment with a k9 dog to ask me about a vehicle parked in the back of my apartment. The manager behind looking over his shoulder. The manager already had my car towed away because the management want to park by the office bit when someone is in my park there is nothing they can do about it but try to move my spot. The Management has the Security ( Bossier Sheriff) harassing me.

We have lived here a little over 2 months and absolutely love it!!!! Misty white is the best!! She has fixed all of our minor problems and concerns immediately with such good service !! We love it here and recommend it!!!!

When I first moved in I thought it was a nice place clean pools good parking but noticed a lot of empty apartments around me. Overtime I found out why. Oven goes out, frigerator goes out, air conditioning goes out all the time. On top of all that maintenance is slow to respond to my request to fix things. One time I was away from my own home for two weeks because it was just too hot to be inside.

I stayed in this place for about 8 months and wasnt too pleased with it at all. Just like a majority of places, St. Charles Place is very money hungry. This place has only a three day grace period to pay your rent where most other apartment complexes around the area have around a 5 or 6 day grace period. The laundry facilities are the worst anyone could ever use; I have lost so much money because the washer and dryer wouldnt work right or wouldnt work at all. They only thing that did work right all the time was the machine that took your money for it. The staff was usually always rude except for a couple of workers but thats if they were in the office when you needed them. If you want to live in this area please go find a better place. These are also very old apartments. There has been countless times I have awoke in the mornings to find out the hot water was cut off due to maintenance. For about $30 or $40 more, you can get a bigger and newer apartment in Shreveport at Millicent Crossings(I have a friend who lives here and its awesome). There are a ton of better places around the area than St. Charles place.

The manager and staff do a great job,you call them with any problem they are on top of it.Thru these trying times they have kept us undated on what is going on.When this Co19 started and we were told to stay indoors I saw a young lady who was worried about how to pay her rent Jamie was quick to tell her not to worry they would work with her that put her in a better state of mind.I can only hopethat if my daughter was ever in that young ladies shoes someone would be so kind.Our new manager is a great young lady friendly and you see her thruout the complex I bet there isnt to many other complex you see the manager put after hours checking the complex . Ive said enough just come join us .

I havent liked my entire stay here. The made me pay a 200 dollar pet deposit then two weeks later made me get rid of the dog and didnt give me my money back... the people in the office are rude and they dont care about any of their residents

They never fix things in a timely manner. My AC wasnt working properly and it was hot. Half the evening and all night. Once I had a plumbing problem they half did the job. They didnt come back to finish it until 1 week later. Please dont move here its horrible

Lived here two years. Tub drain broke a couple weeks after we moved in and they still hadnt fixed it two years later. Then they charged us an arm and a leg for cleaning fees even though we cleaned the place better than they gave it to us. Management was a joke. Maintenance was a joke. The smell of smoke was so bad in our apartment and we didnt even smoke. The pool water was always green and all the machines in the weight room were always broken. They wanted to charge us almost $100 more a month to renew our lease and that was the final straw. We found an apartment with almost 200 more square feet for less than $40 more than we were paying a month. The laundry machines were always broken and taking money off the cards and they wont reimburse you for that. Says it is a gated community but the gates dont work.

I am a very understanding and laid back person but it has been absolute hell since day one of us moving in. Upon move in, the apartment was dirty, the shower curtain was cheap and kept falling off, the towel rack was broken, the bathtub stopper was broken and came completely out, the closet doors keep coming off track, and the front door had such a big crack in it from needing a new weather strip that our air ran constantly. Filled everything out on the move in sheet and I was told the maintenance manager would be the one fixing our things (he was not). The guy who fixed them did the least amount of work he could to get things fixed, and it took two months to get a new weather strip on our front door to keep the air in. Within the first week of being there we had constant problems with the upstairs neighbors. There were about 5-7 young males living in the apartment. Every day I was having to pick up water bottles and trash in our patio from them throwing it down. As well as having to deal with them blaring music and jumping around nightly anywhere from midnight to 5 am. I advised the front office and they were going to put a note on their door. A few nights later while sitting in our patio, the upstairs neighbors decided to piss off of their balcony into the air conditioning unit. My girlfriend of course said “wtf!” And right after was shot in her back with a bb through a crack from the balcony above. I emailed the office immediately and they had BCPD at my apartment that morning. After threatening to get out of our lease due to all the issues after only one week I was told they would be evicted. Two months later they’re still here. Still causing problems. To top everything off, there have been multiple car break ins. With that being said, don’t waste your money on this place. Their “remodeled units” are pretty much the same units with a bandaid fix on them and management doesn’t seem to manage much of anything!

Moving in next weekend this place was by far the best place we looked at out of everywhere else CANT WAIT TO MOVE IN!!

This is not a place to live. They claim to be remodeling but they start and dont finish. Its not worth living in at all. Maintenance are a bunch of sorry people as well as the construction guys. Theyre going up on rent and will loose residents because of awful plumbing, apartments get rained in, AC units are bad. I wouldnt recommend anyone living here they dont care about the residents just money. You cant even sit on your steps and enjoy the weather. Everything has to be removed off the porch and its like a damn jail cell here. Front gate dont work and driving on i20 it look like ghetto trash apartments. They dont deserve a star and I cant wait to move from the worse apartment complex in Bossier by far

DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT move in to these apartments!!!!! I moved in 2015, had problems from day 1. Roof was leaking, trash under the floor boards, tub was peeling. For 2 years was on the waiting list to get the tub repainted. Until I went in the office to break my lease, thats when they got the tub repaired. Since I moved out, they sent me the damages to the apartment and charging me $370 because THEIR paint in the shower is peeling and $110 to stretch the carpet back out. I thought when the old Manger left it would be better BUT I WAS WRONG THE NEW MANAGER IS MUCH WORSE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS TO ANYONE I KNOW!! (true story)

Shannon was, without a doubt, the rudest property manager I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Maintenance tickets were routinely ignored. Phone called were never returned.After moving out, St. Charles did not send our final bill to us for over 3 months. This is a clear violation of our lease. I have left voicemails and sent letters and emails to the Property and to BH Management. I have never received any reply.Update: Shannon finally called. After refusing to address the issue, I insisted on speaking to her supervisor. She responded by hanging up on me.

Do Not Move here! If I could give this review less than 1 star, I would. It’s been about a year since I lived there but I have a friend living there now(against my advice) and she’s regretting it. You absolutely get what you pay for. I had a gaping, leaky, moldy hole in my ceiling for 6 months that they wouldnt fix. The maintenance guy came, painted over it the first time and the second time (after the moldy water had busted through his paint and caused a bigger hole), he told me the people upstairs had a leaky AC and it would stop leaking in a week or two when they moved out. Honestly, after that I stopped trying to get it repaired. The apartment had an open whole on the ceiling when I left. As far as routine maintenance matters, I asked them to either come at 3, when I got off work or to tell me a day to take off. They had 5 different maintenance techs and they told me they didnt start any jobs at 3 (understandable)and they couldnt tell me a day to take off because they didnt work like that. They said they could not schedule a maintenance(not understandable) Also, if your rent is not paid by the 3rd, they send you for eviction, which is something they do not tell you upon signing the lease. Now I carry around an eviction on my record even though I continued to live there 6 months after the eviction was filed, which no one seems to understand. There were 6 different assistant managers the year I lived there. At least once a week I got some bogus $25 “ticket” placed on my door..... for excessive decorations, lid not closed on garbage can, etc that could only be paid in cash to the manager. The actual apartment wasnt that bad but the grounds, managers and maintenance techs were horrendous. I walk in the mornings and evenings and on 2 different occasions, I found drug paraphernalia(things you don’t want your children seeing) scattered about. The first time, I told the manager WHERE it was located and I ended up having to meet the maintenance tech at the exact location because they didnt know where behind apartments #xyz was. What kind of property manager and maintenance tech doesnt know their own complex? The second time I seen the stuff, I was 3 days from moving and thought telling them was fruitless. Unless there have been major changes in the last year, do not move here

This place is a dump, and the staff is a joke. Mold and mildew in the windows, front door is not insulated need to be replaces. I experience a foul odor from the ac unit, the noise from upstairs tenants, and the highway was impossible to sleep. Staying there was an experience that will give me nightmares for a long time.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Apartment model was renovated looks nice.

TERRIBLE!!!! Paint drops all around the wooden floors. The apartment had bad smells from time to time. roaches, spiders. Rude property managers.... i can go on and on... never again.. please pick a different place if you are looking for an apt. The office manager is horribly rude which is a recurring issue. They do things with out giving notice such as turning off water for whatever reason, mantanence is seems to be not a big issue to them. This by far the worst place Ive resigned at

The management is a joke at this property. Ive lived here for a year now, and have been through 3 different Property Managers. They also never get around to any maintenance issues, unless you call EVERY DAY. Be sure to save any and all receipts, from where you paid rent, bc they will say they dont have any rent from you, then find it three weeks later.AVOID this property at all costs.

I moved out and my 250 dollar carpet cleaner came up missing.. this one particular apt manager is very rude and the maintenance man is lazy and wont do his job...my airconditioner went out and i placed a service call and they wouldnt even come fix it that night or the next day..i had to go get my own filters and freondont waste your money

Our stay at St. Charles Place was an abysmally poor value, with most of the problems others have noted.Further, the two apartments on either side of ours were broken into within only a month of eachother, and a man living a few apartments over was later arrested for the break-ins.Additionally, the property management abruptly stopped mailing us bills. We asked for them to resume sending the bills each time we went to the leasing office to pay in-person, but we didnt start receiving bills again.

THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX = GIANT WASTE OF SPACE, PIECE OF $h!T, TERRIBLE SERVICE, ROACH INFESTED AND GHETTO. My company has agreed to pay my lease off but Im now in Georgia and they havent responded to voicemails, emails or website messages. Im 12 hours away! Do your job!
