Helen is One of the best and absolutely professional.. there is no one in this world that can do my eyebrows the way she does.. and Most of all she is incredibly sweet and gentle. I go travel around the world but I come to her to do my eyebrows.. I have also have her do my nails and she is one of the finest.. you walk in as a stranger and with Helen you walk out as friends.. ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely wonderful hospitality upon being seated. As well the nail salon itself has a very nice calming ambience surrounding it in every way. But above all I noticed an innate professionalism and attention to detail witch I can really admire and appreciate.And just to add to that they are extremely friendly and simply pleasant to talk with. Would definitely recommend.

I want so desperately to say it was good. My nail tech was nice, I wont deny that. But the nail work was sloppy. Inadequate nail prep. Didnt push my cuticles back for one, and he kept running against my finger with the drill bit while buffing my nail. Shaping the nail went surprisingly well, but when it came to applying the paint, he left air bubbles under the paint. Put two coats where it wasnt necessary and now the paint is peeling.Ive never had a salon leave wet nail polish under my nail, how he managed to do that, I have no idea. The price would have been fine if the nails would have come out well, which unfortunately, they didnt.

Go see Kent at Mi nail salon! He takes his time making every nail perfect and he is very professional and friendly. Price is also very reasonable!

I always get my nails done here. My dip powder nails always look amazing, no matter how busy they are! My most recent summer/spring nails were absolutely gorgeous! They are so sweet, I always look forward to my appointments!

This place is mostly good for everything. i go here twice a month to get my eyebrows waxed and they are good every time. i get acrylic nails done here too, they are always great quality, kind of depends on the person though, sometimes they make your nails bleed , it really does depend on the person. Prices are pretty high too. Pedicures here are great and relaxing, they take their time and make sure your polish and your massage are perfect. chairs are comfortable and is very clean. i wish they had facials here though. overall a good nail salon.

Me and my friend went here, we walked in and i noticed there making people sanitize!! I was honestly settled that they are clean and sanitary. The workers were very nice, polite , helpful, and made me feel appreciated. They sat us down right away and social distanced as well from the other people. They told us to take our time reading there book if things they do, the variety was awesome, they had everything you could want to do here!!! I told them what color nails i wanted and they gave a variety of colors to pick from by the shade i told him. He go the color and went right to work, he kept a conversation with me the whole time, i got my feet done as well, they had chairs that massaged that i loved to sit in and it was definitely worth my money, they have very good prices as well!!

Wonderful manicure and pedicure-- a great way to treat yourself and relax. They have massaging chairs, too! Very friendly and pleasant staff.

This was the 3rd time my daughter and I went to this nail salon. I realized the last time we were there they over charged us for services. They also uncharged for pedicures if youre not careful. Just point out what you want or they will charge you what they want.

Overpriced and poor quality.. charged me $18 for a “manicure” , then proceeded to cut my cuticles and buff. That was it. She didn’t even push my cuticles back when I asked.. nor did I receive a clear coat.. sloppy paint job as well.

Kent was absolutely phenomenal! The service was excellent. He was very personable and did exactly what I wanted. I will be a regular customer! My nails looks amazing!!

Amy T was delightful. She picked up on the fact that I was tired and just wanted to relax. She didn’t try to talk about the day and I appreciated that. She did a very good job on the pedicure and gave extra attention to areas that I knew needed it (but wouldn’t think someone else would notice). Nothing but good things to say. Will be back.

I wouldnt say that the whole place was a bad experience, the person who did my nails just did a really bad job. The man who did my nails cut them way short without asking me, he filed my fingers so hard that multiple of my fingers were bleeding, and he could tell I was flinching as he was hurting my fingers, but didnt care. I think he just wanted to get the job done. Then with such short nails, the gel polish looked bad. I asked for the manager and she was very kind. She tried everything she could to satisfy me, and ended up giving me a refund. Maybe it was just a bad day for the man who did my nails.

Kent was amazing and super patient with me. I’m a little picky and have a hard time communicating what I like but the color turned out perfect and I loved everything about it. My hands shake sometimes so that made drawing the hearts even harder than they already are. They were super considerate and I really appreciated it, especially for being a first timer there. I don’t think I would go anywhere else.

As a student at APP its hard to find affordable nail places. I was able to get a discount. I went in without making an appointment and was greeted right when I walked in. Kent was my nail artist and he did a PERFECT job. I got almond SNS and they turned out smooth and shaped perfectly. He worked hard and made sure I was happy before leaving. I will be back!

Made an appointment for 3 pedicures ahead of schedule to allow us each time to get to our next appointments. They were staffed adequately but not enough to get to our pedicures at the same time. All paid for Classic pedicures 2 of the 3 received 100% of what is specified but 1 didnt. Service was good but would like to see more consistency across the board next time.

Tony is the best for SNS. I love my nails every time! 10/10 recommended. They do a better job for less than top nails charges

I come here with my wife often for pedicures, and she also gets a fill in. She’s very particular on how her light pink & white nails are done, and this is by far her favorite place. So that speaks a lot for the place.We typically see Kent or Helen here which are great Vietnamese people.

Went in for a full set and had a very specific style I wanted. Helen made sure I was 100% satisfied. This salon is busy but if they didnt do quality work they wouldnt be. I called ahead and they accommodated me within a timely manner. Im very particular and I love my nails! You get what you pay for just like with any service. I work in the beauty industry myself and I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

Def Mi Nail Salon is the best nail salon on my mind. They have a pretty well stocked of gel and polish colors!! The salon was not cramped AND cleanliness. Would recommend this place to others!! Their prices are especially good for this area.

The best place in Boone to get nails/toes done. Every time I go the staff is friendly and very sweet. They make you feel special and that you arent rushed like other places. Massage chairs for pedicures make the wait worth it if there are big parties but it can hold like 15 pedicure chairs so the wait is never long.I will always come here!! Thank you for being awesome.

Awful experience with SnS today!Your tech was rude to my daughter, talked her out of the color she wanted because he said it would take too many coats. The end result looks so bad. My 6 year old does better job.I asked for half of my money back and they refused.Hello...the customer is always right?!

COMPLETE RIPOFF! Made appointments for pedicures for 1:30, no one even started on us until 2:30. Was told several times it would be just a couple more minutes while they did numerous manicures & pedicures for people who were just walk-ins who came in AFTER US, these people were waited on immediately! Finally after an HOUR of waiting, a girl comes to start my pedicure, she runs the water, sees other people walk in & then picks her stuff up & leaves & goes to do their manicure. I seriously was confused but more in disbelief than anything. Finally she comes back & does my pedicure. By this time my water is cold so she runs BOILING hot water so hot I had to take my feet out. She asked if it was too hot as if she didnt already know. Quickest pedicure ever too, I feel like we were done in 10 minutes, when I paid for 20 minutes. Charged us all full price, the girl ringing us up was RUDE, she tossed my debit on the counter instead of handing it to my outstretched hand. Not an apology from anyone. I was absolutely livid when I left and Im still very annoyed with this so called nail salon.

Honestly this was a terrible experience. The staff was rude as could be. I got an acrylic full set, the shape is perfect but the polish is a nightmare. I told them I just wanted regular polish but instead used gel and charged me $15 extra for it.

Been coming here forever but last two visits completely sucked with the same nail techinican. I have know idea if she even has a clue about the dip powder or how to apply. Trust me will not be a third time.

I was in desperate with my mani and wanted to find a new salon. Great environment Ive been had. The water was the right temperature at all times. Seriously these guys were fun and did amazing job. Its a good for GEL color! Overall, have a amazing experience. And will come back next time for deluxe pedicure.

Have had very good experiences here in the past. This time I made an appointment and sat in the chair for 30 minutes when I finally stood up and left. Everyone suddenly was like well start now we’ll take you now but by then I should have already been close to done. I had to get back to work I didn’t have all day to sit there, not all of us have a lot of free time for personal care. Will not be going back here even though it was my favorite nail salon in the area.

Nail work was decent. However, they were bulky and large on the ends. I also got my eyebrows waxed but she didn’t ask what kind of shape I wanted or anything. I ended up with very basic lines, no arch or anything. Also a few days after, my skin broke out right where the wax was and hasn’t stopped since. Not like rash or hair bumps but full on acne. I’m pretty sure the wax that they used was dirty. Definitely DO NOT waste your money here.

Such a waste of money. I paid $4 more than I would have back home and got less than half of the quality I would have received back home. This was supposed to be my first pedicure for the spring/summer AND MY FEET ARE STILL LOOKING THE SAME AS THEY DID, I just have polish on them now is the only difference. Completely a waste of money!!

Best experience I’ve had in a long time at a nail salon! Today my friend and I both received mani/pedis. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Haro gave me the best pedicure! He was detail oriented and his massage was on point ! Kayden worked on my French sns manicure. He took his time and honestly my nails came out stunning! They both were very sweet & funny, and treated me like a princess! My friend also had a wonderful experience but I am unsure of the name of the lady who helped her. Thank you Mi Nail Salon!!!!

Very poor final product. Nails totally look fake and there is globs of dried acrylic powder under my nails. Cost 50 dollars to get nails put on and will cost another 50 to have them fixed. I have pictures but dont know how to post. Do not recommend this place. I would rather have no nails then these!!!

The best mani/pedi Ive ever gotten in Boone ! From the minute I walked in to the minute I paid for the service, everything was great. She is so friendly and they have a wide selection of colors. Super relaxing environment. . . nice chairs, rose water foot bowls, and amazing service! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nail spa !

Customer service is pretty much non existent. The technique has a lot to be desired. Prices are ridiculously high. On multiple occasion they have burned me with a buffer and made me bleed. I finally had enough and took of the fake nails and I have never seen my nails in such bad condition. I do however understand that my nails aren’t going to look the same as they did before but now they are so thin and brittle from being buffed down to an unnecessary point that every single one of my real nails have broken far past the quick and they hurt. They are still in this condition a month after the taking them off. This is the worst place to go to.

I got dip nails with tips and they are hideous. They are very thick and the tips are wide. I do NOT recommend.

HORRIBLE quality. I went for the first time last week with a friend because my usual nail salon was closed. I NEVER leave reviews for companys but the quality of my manicure was so poor I had to voice my experience. We paid $35 for gel and my friends nails chipped the VERY NEXT DAY. I was surprised because mine seemed fine but 2 days later my polish started to chip too and now less than a week later all of my nails are chilling. Not only that, but my nails are breaking too. I am tempted to go in and pitch a fit but based on other reviews they charge to redo nails. I will never go back to this place and urge all others to visit any one of the other nail salons in Boone.

Okay. My Mother-in-law and I went to get a simple manicure with gel. It was honestly the most painful manicure I’ve ever had. The gentlemen that did my nails was rude. He pulled me around and my nails bleed. Several of them. But I was too shy to say anything. On top of that, he messed up on the top coat and it was chunky. At that point, I was over it. He walked away and I asked another person to please fix them. But he called over the original guy and he ended up fixing my nails. :/ But that’s not the worst part. At check out, I was FLOORED by the price and they didn’t even offer a discount, which I wasn’t expecting, but hey, good customer services goes a long way. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Ive never written a review before, even when experiences have been pretty bad, but this place was awful. Unfriendly and pretentious staff that doesnt do their job well. They did horrible threading for eyebrows and a horrible manicure. Very cheap and the job they do shows it. Would not recommend to anyone. Go somewhere that costs $4 more for better service.

Have been to this salon a couple times. Finally have found a nail service and tech that is actually worth the money. Today was an exception, made an appt unfortunately arrived 10 minutes late. I accept responsibility for that. What I find unbelievable is then having to wait 45 minutes to be waited on by my preferred tech. Really felt that was unacceptable. Especially since it did not appear that they had any other appts waiting.I also have heard from many friends that they are uncomfortable in salons where the techs speak a foreign language. This has never bothered me until today when I figured out that the techs were talking and laughing about a customer that was unhappy with the amount she was charged. I can understand why she was unhappy. She requested a service from the tech and the tech suggested two types. When she selected one there was never any info about price. Couldnt this be fixed by just giving customers a price list? Then they would know in advance.UPDATE: Have had a more pleasant experience lately. The service I receive from Helen or Kent is excellent. I think they are the two best technicians in the place.

They did my nails in less 5 mins...I got gell coat sooo it takes time at least 10 mins for a good job. GO TO CITY NAILS and ask for TIM! Hes the best! its near Ingles!

I walked in without an appointment at 6 pm and got wonderful service for a mani/pedi. The spa looked and felt very clean. I was offered water. Most importantly, the employees listened to my requests and fulfilled them!! Ill be back!

The staff is wonderful, but everything felt extremely rushed and residue was left on my nails.

Almost payed $45 for acrylics and gel polish. The man doing my nails made the acrylic very crooked and made two of my fingers bleed and acted like it was normal. He rushed to do my nails and the result was unacceptable.

All I wanted was my acrylic taken off and the guy who did it was terrible. I had to ask him to soak them and he was annoyed with that. He nicked my nails like 4 times before I asked for someone to finish my nails and he jumped up saying you finish you finish when there was clearly still acrylic on my nails, uneven, not even smoothed down... And I stayed calm and respectful saying thank you but he kept saying things still kept my calm. Lol and I when I first came in he kept saying I wanted a gel manicure and I said multiple times I did not ask for that lol just take off. Either way Im from Charlotte I just go to ASU and I took a chance but I will never get my nails done here again. Went to get my toes painted only! Waited over 30 min, and was passed my several people, ignored, so I left, will NOT be back!!!!!!! Went over to Top Nail on shadow drive and was immediately taken care of!

I paid for the signature pedi, here it is as described on the web and the in house menu: SIGNATURE PEDICUREOur Trademark Service. This service includes: Aromatic Foot Soak, Hot Towel Wrap, Dry Skin Exfoliation Scrub, Mud Mask, Intensive Callus and Heel Treatment, Natural Nail Care,, Extended Aromatic Lotion Massage and Polish. (40 Min.)40 minutes is a joke! I got no aromatic foot soak, just warm water, no mud mask, barely hit the calluses, one foot got cuticle clipper, the other did not. I asked him to go back and get THE REST OF THE OLD POLISH OFF I was told oh, the new polish will cover it up, I asked for an old fake nail on my toe to be removed ( was on there for months due to a crack) he refused. The massage was a joke....MY TECH WORE NO GLOVES, HAD LONG DIRTY NAILS! My toes look awful, I have rough heels and I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Sorry besties but I will not go with you either...No One Cares!

If I could give this salon a zero I would. Today I visited this salon and I will never be back. The absolute worst pedicure I have ever received. She trimmed my nails, painted my nails, and rubbed some lotion on my legs. Do not waste your time at this nail salon.
