I couldn’t recommend this place more! I have incredibly short hair (ignore the old pic) and I’ve been worried because I’m traveling for three weeks and can’t see my usual barber. I shouldn’t have worried because I was in excellent hands here. Gene was welcoming and kind and cleaned up my hair just perfectly. If I’m ever in town again I’ll definitely be back!

One of the all time great barber shops for Men! You can even get a straight edge razor shave. Something that is impossible to find today. The owner is very pleasant and is originally from Cleveland. Also, the quality of cut is excellent at a reasonable price.

As a snowbird I struggled to find someone to cut my hair as well as my barber up north does, trying and being dissatisfied with 4 different shops. But no more! I have gotten 5 perfect haircuts from Lou at the Barber Shop at Bernwood Design. The shop is efficient, friendly and professional. And the price is very reasonable.

This place is great. Im new to the area and struggled with the chain places and their gimmicks. These guys are serious about their craft and ask the right questions about what I wanted. This not only made me happy with my haircut but also made me feel comfortable WHILE getting my haircut. They are very kid friendly too.

This is the best place for a great haircut in south west Florida

Slower than slow and totally don’t follow the sign in list. More cutting - less talking - especially when chairs are full. If you have all day to wait - then I’m sure you’ll be ok. Prices are on top of scale for a gentleman’s cut.

Great experience. Pete was both friendly and professional. And very meticulous. I had one of the best straight blade haircuts I have had in a while. That means alot coming from a bald guy. 😁

Awful customer service. The man who cut my hair argued with me about the style of my hair and how it SHOULD be parted (according to him). I wanted a fade on the sides from a #1 to a #1.5. Nothing difficult. However, I was told that wouldnt work with my hair. He then proceeded to to shave the sides of my head without further telling me what he was doing. I had ZERO input as to what was being done with my hair after this point. I was not asked if I wanted the back rounded, squared, or tapered. After paying $16 and tipping $1 I was sarcastically called a big spender and told never to come back again. PLEASE DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE. There are plenty of other barbers and stylists around. Take your money and hair some place else where the barber actually cares about giving you a positive experience.
