Brought my car in yesterday because my check engine light was on. The gentlemen there are super professional and kind. They explained everything to me in detail, and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. They are also super convenient because they send you text and email updates. i love that they have a free shuttle service! My car was done today and I couldnt be happier.Definitely worth the money and I will be back! Thank you guys!

Just went in for consult and they were honest, caring and sincere. They said if you were our sister or our Mom this is what we would tell them. It was bad news, but they were honest and didnt feel right charging me a lot of money when there was no guarantee it would be worth fixing, and didnt charge me for the consult.Very pristine shop, no mechanic or greasy fumes. I WAS REFERRED TO CBA-BOLINGBROOK BY A FRIEND. ITS A BIT FAR FROM WHERE I LIVE BUT REFERRALS MEAN A LOT TO ME. I CALLED AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR EARLY MORNING BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT TO GET CAUGHT BEHIND ANY UNFORSEEN COMPLICATED JOBS. SINCE THE LOCATION IS A BIT FAR FROM MY HOME I ARRIVED EARLIER THAN EXPECTED (45 MINUTES) BECAUSE TRAFFIC WAS LIGHTER THAN EXPECTED-NO PROBLEM, THEY TOOK MY VEHICLE RIGHT IN. WITHIN 15-20 MINUTES I RECEIVE A TEXT MESSAGE ON MY PHONE WITH A LINK DETAILING ALL OF THE THINGS THAT ARE EITHER WRONG OR RECOMMENDED FOR MY VEHICLE, COMPLETE WITH PICTURES AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF HEALTH AND SAFETY RELATED ITEMS AS WELL AS THINGS THAT DIDNT REQUIRE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. I WAS IMPRESSED! I WAS SO IMPRESSED THAT I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE VERY NEXT DAY TO BRING MY BMW IN FOR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE BEFORE I PUT IT BACK IN SERVICE FOR THE SEASON. Great customer relations, price and service!

Christian Brothers Automotive is the gold standard that all auto shops should strive to be. The shop is incredibly clean, has great service, and very reasonable prices. On top of that, they even provide a shuttle to take you where you need to be while your car is being serviced.

Several months after oil change, van is leaking oil like the Exxon Valdez. Come to find that it was the oil plug that just got a little worse every day until a near steady stream was coming out. Got it fixed but felt compelled to call CB about it. Lucas was apologetic and I told him I wanted nothing more than to let him know of the issue. What prompted me to write this was his insulting offer of compensation. Again, I wanted nothing but he offered me AN OIL CHANGE AS COMPENSATION FOR BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR OIL LEAKING FROM AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED MANY MANY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN DAMAGE. Sorry dude....thats NOT even close. So what.....youre giving me back the oil you lost for me? Needless to say, Id never go back there.

It was my first time going to Christian Brothers Automotive and I must say that the staff is very welcoming and informative about any and every process of the work being done to your vehicle. Their pricing for service, is very low and reasonable and with it being Christian owned, you feel the honesty and humbling vibe from the staff. Even the customers are social. Great communication through text in real-time after dropping off car. When car actually was within specs for an alignment, they refused to charge. Honesty has gained them a new customer and referrals. Thanks again.

Had appointment for alignment check earlier this month after having new tires installed. Alignment within limits but front suspension could have benefitted from new parts at additional expense. Even with getting parts repair could have been done that day but opted not to based on age of vehicle. Staff very professional and knowledgeable to support informed decision with no pressure. Would not hesitate to stop by again or send others - good shop and people.

I need my front end alignment done on my jeep. They said I had a bad tie rod end and that would need to be replaced first. They didnt charge for the diagnosis. I replaced the part myself, brought my jeep back to them and now it drives like new.

Since my first visit to Christian Brothers Automotive Ive had nothing but great experiences during my visits. Their work is excellent and the honesty is refreshingly moving. For me, Integrity and honesty is a hallmark of this automotive repair and maintenance facility.

I do not know how good they fix, I know they lie on timing, calls and inspection. I have ruined my planned family vacation because of these people. If you want more adventures, bring your vehicle here.

This place was great. Its doesnt seem like too much from the outside, but I would recommend it. I have only been once but they were friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. They did good work and my car is now in great shape. I would recommend them to anyone.

Was told the oil change would take 20 to 30 minutes, I was out of there in about 15 minutes everything was fine. Great place for oil changes.

Excellent service, excellent use of technology. Only downside Id mention is that when I took my car in for an oil change my check engine light was on. They made note of this fact but made no effort to look into it further. Which I found odd because every mechanic and their brother will usually leap at the chance to find a problem in need of fixing.But overall it was a good experience. Helpful, professional, transparent and quick. A little pricier than average. Ill likely be a return customer.

Air conditioning was out for my Acura. Their mechanic found 2 leaks: condenser and hose, got a quote over $1050 after the fill up(additional $150). I looked elsewhere, found a place who did it for $440. Also new shop found out that condenser wasn’t even a problem, it was a compressor from the beginning.. This place overcharged and did not solve the problem - stay away from this place, dont waist your money.

What can I say my first time here and the staff was so helpful and nice, I dropped off my 98 project Jeep wrangler for some steering issues they checked everything and told me that everything was in good shape, they did a 4 wheel alignment and OMG they got it right on so much better to drive now heres is the funny part I just had it aligned at another shop about two months ago and it was never right and they would not make it right but here spot on guys!!! Also they gave me info on the right tires to get, needless to I will be bringing my corvette here and others.. Thanks you again you made my day!!!

I have used Christian Brothers a number of times on my car. They are conscientous of how expensive car repairs can be and help me make decisions prioritising repairs when multiple repairs are needed. They also helped me work with my dealership when the dealership was trying to not honour my warranty. There have been instances where they thought my car needed more repairs than it ended up needing once they got into the engine and they were honest and did not do the repairs and did not charge me for them. Overall, I trust them, which means a lot to me because I know very little about cars and have been taken advantage of at other mechanics in the past.

Just moved out to the area and needed a few repairs and maintenance done on my car. I never really trusted the usual places to take your car in so I went on google to search for an alternative. I liked what I saw and read about Christian Brothers Automotive so I decided to give them a try. I was extremely impressed right away just talking to the gentlemen who answered the phone. He was really nice and listened to what I needed. After dropping the car off, the gentlemen at front desk asked me if I needed a ride home. I only have one car so I was planning on taking an Uber home. I ended up getting a free ride home from the actual owner of the business. We had a nice conversation and was again really impressed with their service. Car was done the same day, price was good, the car was fixed to my liking. I will definitely be using them from now on. I would highly recommend giving them a try rather than going to a Firestone or any other place like that where it’s hard to trust what they tell you.

I had not needed any major work on my 2015 Town & Country since I got it, but it was time to take care of things like shocks, brakes, etc. I love that I was able to request an appointment online, and got in on my chosen date. CB did a thorough inspection, found another issue that needed to be addressed, and got all the work done that day. They provided me with transportation to and from home, and communicated via text about my car every step of the way — so convenient! They even took pictures of what needed repair, and followed up after to make sure I understood what they had done. Great auto shop with integrity!

I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve witnessed them schedule individuals who came in seeking immediate appointments, because they already had previously scheduled vehicle in their shop.I’ve never seen a mechanic shop say, sorry I can’t do it today because I already have other vehicles that I’m working on. Most places will ask you to leave your vehicle and they’ll get to it when they get to it. Not here!!! Your Vehicle will be taken in with a few minutes of your 10am appointment.I very much respect and admire their courage, honesty, excellent work and commitment to their customers/community. Speaks volumes and I won’t take my car anywhere else.

Came in for an alignment with my 2 year old. I was debating whether I should get picked up by my dad or use the shuttle and they basically said they understand my situation and theyll get me out of there asap sure enough I was out in less than 40 minutes and the people there were great.Their waiting lobby is very clean and comfortable as well. I really had no issues with the wait whatsoever. I do recommend giving them a try. And my car drives great now!

Very friendly. Had car towed in over the weekend. Called me first thing Monday morning. Got car back that day around 1 PM. Repair was appears to be done correctly. Plan to use them again. This is the first time I used Christian Brothers and all aspects of the service were outstanding. The service advisor was very helpful and polite. They offered me a ride home. When I received my estimate it included photos of the problem areas. The service work that was completed was very reasonable to other auto shops. Definitely would use them again.

I took my vehicle week Friday for a routine oil change. I asked them to check the battery since I was having issues with it last month. They said sure, I can have him check on it too, mind you the battery test is included in their multi-point inspection. So really youre not doing anything extra there.Over the weekend the rear brakes started making a grinding squeaking noise. So I called to have it looked at. Sure enough rear brakes are rundown to the metal and need a replacement. The brake inspection is also included in their oil change package. They quoted me about $420 for just the rear brakes to be fixed (rotor and pads).I have been coming here the last 2 oil changes for my car, not once was I told there may be issues with pads or the battery, which should have been addressed in the previous inspection.I went to Midas in Bolingbrook to get my brakes done (online booking and coupons for services!). They took my car up, looked at the front and rear brakes, and physically allowed me to see the damage that had been done by not having them changed earlier. I was shocked at the lack of attention from the mechanics at Christan Auto Brothers. Then they showed me the print out of the battery report. My battery is basically dead, print out reads needs replacement, the battery fails to meet industry-accepted standards!!!I am a home health nurse, I have a daughter, and travel for work; we depend on these businesses to perform and work in an ethical manner!!THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BY ANY STANDARD, SHAME ON YOU CHRISTIAN AUTO BROTHERS!I spoke with the manager to let him know the situation and can assure you I will not be returning. I do not trust this company at all. You are no different than any other business that takes shortcuts and puts money before the client.In the healthcare industry, I am a professional, the Nurse. Families and patients trust me to care for their loved ones. I would never betray that trust because of laziness or poor standards. Do the job right or dont do it at all! As a person who does a lot of my own work on my cars, I don’t like having to take my car to a repair shop. Generally I don’t trust the competency of most places, even dealerships, or don’t feel that they are being honest. I didn’t feel that way with Christian Brothers Auto. They explained what they were going to do, the experience level of their technicians, their incredible warranty policy and their principles on how they run their business. They diagnosed the problem, provided a quotation, and didn’t try to talk me into doing anything else. I was very happy with my experience and gladly recommend them.

I initially went there because CBA provided a few of the members of my church a free oil change. Out of the kindness of their hearts, they provided oil changes for free,. It was at a time when I needed it and didnt really have the money to pay for it. God blessed me with a way to get my oil changed and it was by CBA. How could I not continue patronizing this business. Everyone there is courteous and polite. The wait time is amazing. I will continue to patronize this awesome facility. It doesnt hurt the waiting room is beautiful and comfortable. Ladies its not your typical auto facility waiting area. Give them a try you wont regret it.

After having significant damage done to my vehicle at another shop when attempting to get an oil change done, Christian Brothers Automotive was caring and compassionate from the beginning. They were quick to assess the damage done and take pictures in order to document all that was wrong.When the owner of the other shop refused to take responsibility for the damages, Christian Brothers Automotive helped me to reach out to the owner and even offered for the other shop owner to view my car under their watchful eye! When that did not work and I was still deciding how to move forward, Christian Brothers Automotive offered to keep my car at their shop and every single night they locked the car inside their shop to ensure its safety.They continued to check in on my progress with no pressure to make any decisions and also continued to offer advice and assistance. This was above and beyond anything I expected. After my car sitting at Christian Brothers Automotive for 3 entire weeks, I finally made some progress with being able to figure out how to get the owner of the old shop to take some responsibility. While the matter is still being figured out, Christian Brothers Automotive fixed my car and even checked in a week later to ensure I was happy with the car and that it was running well. I have nothing but positive feedback for this amazing company and fantastic location!The location owner Paul clearly cares about maintaining an honest business in which individuals feel they are able to learn about what is going on with their cars and make informed decisions. I was in there to check why my oil pressure light was on. They added an extra quart and helped me with diagnosing the issue. They didnt even charge me for the top up. I really loved the place. Everyone was nice and knowledgeable. Wouldnt think twice to go back to them.

From start to Finish I’m very happy with the exceptional service provided at this location. I was quoted incorrectly at a competitor in the beginning who didn’t take the time to even quote the correct vehicle. I appreciate after my diagnostic test they text me a full report with pictures included. The shuttle service is extremely convenient , I saved some money and am fully satisfied with the quality of work done to my car. With a name like Christian Brothers I wasnt sure what to expect when I got there. Hooded Friars coming out to greet me and taking my car into the shop for a shot of Brandy, a glass of wine, or who knows what.What did happen was a courtesy greeting, and quick professional interaction with me to take my vehicle into the shop for a brake job. As it was 7:30 in the morning they also shuttled me back home which left my wife happily snoozing in bed.Throughout the day I was constantly updated via text as to what was going on and what they found in a thorough and comprehensive inspection of my car. I was allowed to make a decision on what I wanted done on that day in addition to the scheduled brake job all by text on my phone.I am happy to say that I am thoroughly happy and pleased with Christian Brothers and I will be back, as well as my wifes car being serviced in the future.Want good courteous service that actually makes you feel good then this is the place to be.

This has been my second appointment with Christian Brothers Automotive.When they examine your car, they give you a list of items that need to be taken care of with an estimate of how much it will cost. Some are critical, others are not. I liked the option to pick and choose what I wanted to have fixed and waited on others that were not as critical.

This was my second experience, this for a front end alignment. Courteous staff & was informed the air pressure in my tires were too high, thus you adjusted to manufacturer specifications. Awesome service.

These guys are very professional, friendly, and helpful. They asked if they could do a free checkup on my car, of course I said yes. They found some issues with the rear brakes and pads and calipers, also some other maintenance needs. They were not pushy, just suggesting what needed to be done shortly. The whole shop was super clean. Im definitely going to be taking my car there from now on.

I called on a Monday morning about setting up an appointment to hopefully get an estimate on my car and Joe told me no appointment necessary- bring it right over! After dropping my car off, they called back about an hour later letting me know that they had figured out the issue with my car. Upon arrival to pick up my car- Joe explained everything to me in detail & gave me a discount as a courtesy to help with the cost. They were able to fix my car the same day within a few hours. Had an opportunity to visit Christian Brothers Automotive today, I found the facility clean and well-organized, the counter staff where cheerful and eager to help, and I found access to the parking lot Roomy and well-organized, which is important in my business. My customer, the vehicle owner whose car we were transporting to Christian Brothers, said he has been here before and has had a good experience . Overall seems like a good experience....

The place is very nice and so are the people running it. I needed my rack and pinion replaced which meant an alignment as well. They told me that would be $1400. Which I was going to go ahead and pay for but something told me to call my usual automotive shop and they charged me $730 for the exact same thing. I wanted to try these guys out because they are so close to where I live but paying 100 percent more will never do.

They were professional, speedy and not pushy on other services I needed. They were kind without being too friendly. I enjoyed the atmosphere while waiting as well

I thought Christian was a family name, I was surprised and proud of them when I found faith based literature in the waiting room. I brought my vehicle in for work under a Maxcare extended warranty. The warranty company expected me to leave the vehicle for two days so they could get around to having the appraiser look at it. Naturally I was upset about that. Christian Brothers did all the talking for me and arranged a rental car, got me over there to pick it up. Talk about customer service!The repairs were completed on time and with a three year warranty. Look no further for a shop to take your vehicle to!!!

I previously only would receive services from the GMC dealership. Never again! If you seek transparency, honesty, great customer service, and affordable prices, this place is it! I promise you, I have never been more satisfied and happy as a customer. Being new to the area, I gotten a quote from the dealership after they diagnosed my car. I didnt have time that day to get the work done that night, so I took my car back and acquired another quote from Chritian Brothers on a later date. It was almost half of what the dealership was offering! They are true professionals, and provided prompt transportation to and from my job while the car was being repaired. Another honorable mention I must add is they are a faith based organization, PLUS they took extra care me just because I am service member. I just referred a buddy. Please do yourself a favor and check in with them first!Update: Went back again...they are still the best!
