This was the best dive experience! My grandchildren took the “experience scuba” with the force-e scuba. From the minute I made the call, everything was perfect! They had Eric call me to set up everything and nothing could have been easier! Eric was great getting my package together and even met us at the dive shop the day we arrived! On the scuba dives he took us on, we were amazed. He was so funny but very professional. I felt like they learned as much about scuba in this one day class as I did when I got my certification! We definitely have some new scuba divers in our family thanks to Eric and the team at Force e scuba!

He is very experienced and knowledgeable about all the diving skills required to have a safe and fun diving experience. I did my advanced open water and nitrox this week with Steve Wallenda at Force E Boca. Outstanding. Super knowledgeable and patient. Explained everything we were doing and why. Great sense of humor and made taking the classes fun. I cant recommend him and Force E highly enough.In addition to the classes, I also decided to buy gear. The people at Force E Boca were awesome. They listened to what I was thinking and why. Made comments and suggestions and when I sounded skeptical or they wanted a second opinion, a colleague was immediately there to agree or disagree. I cant say that money wasnt an object, but I made clear that I was willing to pay for safety and flexibility. A group of us took the open water scuba course with Greg Havlusch and had an amazing time. Greg is kind, patient, and a stickler for details. You always feel safe with him. He is extremely knowledgeable about diving, sites and equipment. On the last dive we were accompanied by dive master Mike Holden and he helped and took pictures.As far as their store it is really nice and big and we found many options for everyones taste and budget. Some in our group rented. We all found the experience hassle-free.I wholeheartedly recommend Force E for diving and equipment.

I recently went through Force-E open water scuba diving course. Eric S, the instructor, made the course fun and easy to follow along with. He stressed the importance of safety while diving without taking away the fun of it. Even during our last dive, he ran everyone through life threatening scenarios just to make sure we knew how to handle them. I am extremely impressed with his knowledge and professionalism With everything he taught. I highly recommend Eric as your instructor for any course Force-E has to offer.

This was life changing. I thought I was going to be so scared, and freak out under water but the training was so good and safety so paramount I now can’t wait to dive again. I just did the open water certification with Steve and it was amazing! The employees at the shop were so friendly and very helpful. Steve was a great instructor. He took away all the anxiety I had about learning to scuba dive and made it into one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! I 100% recommended it.

As much as I wanted to support a smaller family owned business, unfortunately I cant recommend them. Hope the management sees this review. Our experience was pretty bad. It seems like people who work there dont care about the customers. They advertise that you can return the items that you dont like for a full refund but the reality is different. We went to the store 3 times and bought a number of items: 3 masks, fins, snorkels, diver flags, neoprene socks and some other equipment. After we returned one unused mask that didnt fit, we asked for a full refund, they suggested to look for another mask, and assured us that we can return the one that we find for a full refund if it doesnt fit. We reluctantly agreed and found another mask that wasnt a perfect fit, but was worth trying. Instead of refunding the first mask in full to my credit card like I requested, they issued so called store credit for the price of the first mask. We were in a hurry and didnt check the receipt, so we only found out about this store credit after we tried to return the second mask. We kept the third mask and the other items that we bought. There were 3 representatives in the store, I politely explained the situation to them and asked to issue a full refund for the second mask - they refused and one of the guys was very rude. Out of $125 I paid for the second mask they only agreed to refund half of the price because of the store credit that they issued for the first mask without my consent. They tried to explain to me that out of $125 I only paid $65 or so and the rest was the store credit that I never asked for. I understand - they dont want to issue refunds, so they just issue store credit instead. But why advertise full refunds, if you dont want to actually honor them? I wanted to talk to a manager, but they suggested to come back in a few days. We didnt want to waste our time and never came back.The owner commented below. I emailed them to work things out - no response.

Best decision I made was to get my certification from here. Store is stocked, clean and full of amazing staff whom are friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. I personal had Eric as my instructor. He was calm, super friendly and went at my pace. He made sure I was safe and did everything I needed. Plus he loves what he does. I highly recommend Force E

This may be a little long. When I First started diving it was in Aruba. My instructor there was very professional, however a little abrasive. I get it in a way considering we were just starting off , and my life was literally in his hands. After that first time I fell in love with Scuba diving . I made arrangements once I got home and decided to finish my training with someone here. At first it was good as far as completing my open water course, but then things took a turn for the worse. I decided to consider my training with him for Advanced Diver and I, realized he waa not concerned at all with the learning and just passed people to pass them. With Eric, he was able to teach you, and certify you by actually teaching and certifying , and not just signing a paper. While his style may not seem normal, because of his methods it is highly effective. I feel I deserve the level of training I applied for. I did not get that at all the lasr time. Trusir me you will both learn and have a great time.

Finished up my SSI Open Water Diver certification a couple weeks ago with Eric Steighner. Ive wanted to do this since I was a kid and thanks to Eric I finally got it done. Force E is the dive shop I go to for all of my diving needs, including training and equipment. Everyone of the staff are super helpful and very knowledgeable. They have always been very courteous and professional, even when I ask stupid questions to things I should already know!Recently I went on a dive trip put together by Eric of the Boca store. Eric was very organized and made sure to make sure everyone was ready for the dive. The dive was on the Spiegle Grove out of Key Largo with the dive company Horizon. The boat captain, Dani, gave the safety briefing and went over what to expect. Eric gave a very good pre dive presentation on the details of the wreck and made sure his assistant Dive Master knew what her responsibilities were. Overall it was a great experience and everyone had a good and safe time thanks to Eric and the crew of the Luna Bay. I look forward to more dives organized by Eric and more opportunities to dive with Horizon again.

If I could give them a hundred stars I would. Their Boca location is filled with the GREATEST staff. So personable, helpful, well informed and just generally wonderful. My hubby went in there and bought all new gear- we both felt so confident we were being treated right and the staff knew what they were talking about. We just moved to FL so they gave us tons of pointers for dive locations. Kiersten especially was a rockstar and was patient and helpful with us for the whole 3 hours we were in there shopping.. I just went on a dive to the Spiegel Grove wreck led by Eric Steighner. The wreck was amazing even though the ocean was a little rough. Eric kept everyone calm and pointed out so many interesting features of the wreck. This was the first wreck that I was truly able to go through into the belly and explore. Amazing dive shop with wonderful staff!I took my deep diving and Nitrox certification with instructor Jeremy Tanner this past weekend. He is incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and confident in everything he taught me. I highly recommend booking with him!

The staff here are extremely friendly. It feels almost like going over to a friends house, the laid back way the staff greets you and make conversation. The staff are also all very passionate divers. Some have SCUBA related YouTube channels, others are Dive Masters. Every time I walk in, if they arent busy they are talking about diving amongst each other. This certainly increases my confidence in their recommendations or advice to me. The store is very clean and has a huge selction of gear. Their rental equipment is new and of decent quality. I just got my Open Water certification through the Boca Raton store. Eric Steighner was my instructor and he is absolutely fantastic! The way he teaches is very laid back, unlike other instructors from other shops I have overheard on training dives; they seem much more clinical and impersonal. As of writing this he has nearly 4000 dives and abounding experience in nearly all things diving. I cant elucidate just how great Eric is. I will absolutely be getting more certifications with Eric and acquiring my personal gear from Force E.

Took a refresher course and did some shore and boat dives with Eric after 20 years out of the water. Everything was great got some tips to get over sinus issues that I was worried would keep me from diving. The whole staff is great and I cant wait to dive with them again!

Great place for technical gas mixes. We had a long weekend of technical diver training and needed some heavy helium mixes at the end of the training days. These guys could not have been anymore accommodating. Despite the number of bottles we collectively had, we were in and out in a reasonable amount of time and always with the correct mix within +/- 1%. Highly recommend for your tech diving fills.

I’ve been going to force-e all my life and have never had an issue. Recently Ashley has been helped me out on multiple occasions to fix my regulators and a bunch of other stuff. She really has gone above and beyond and the entire staff there is awesome.

Go to dive shop now that Ive moved to Boca. Theyve always been super helpful in gear recommendations and how to keep existing gear in shape. Plus, their return policy makes you feel comfortable dropping the big bucks knowing that you can exchange or return if it doesnt end up fitting your dive style. I did a freediving course with Eric Steighner and highly recommend both the course and Eric as an instructor. In the past, Ive loved classes but have never been loyal to an instructor, but the way he teaches safety and breaks stuff down means that Ill definitely use him for my rescue and master courses.

Great Store and even better instructor, Eric Steigher.my whole family and I walked into the store knowing nothing about scuba diving. very intimidating at the beginning. once there, Eric, with his good manners and his advice, gave us great recommendations about the basic equipment, and we started to feel more comfortable. There are so any models of everything that it is almost overwhelming.We asked Eric if he could be our scuba instructor, and he accepted.after doing our homework and a couple of classes in the pool, we went to the ocean. This is a completely new dimension. I was very scared the moment I deflated my BCD and started to go down. Eric was in front of me, all the time making eye contact. this gave me a sense of security. when we touched bottom, he showed me the depth in my diving computer; 60 feet. I panicked and wanted to go up forgetting everything I had learned in the course. But Eric was there, to make me to confront my own anxiety. Since then I am less and less afraid, and I am beginning to enjoy scuba diving. thanks to Eric and the advice I get from all the members of the team at force-E in Boca.If you are considering scuba diving go no further: there is no better team than the force-E in Boca and no instructor better than Eric

We came down to Florida to do some shore diving and Force-E Scuba made this trip amazing. This shop worked with us for a decent rate when we rented tanks for a week. They also have quick turn around on fills and tank swaps. They had loads of information about local shore diving. Their multiple locations made getting an air fill card a valid option and saved us even more money. This shop is absolutely amazing. Thanks so much from the Colorado Guys.

I had a good experience here. The Dive instructors are knowledgeable. The are very understanding if you take longer than normal to learn certain specifics about diving (I took forever to learn how to breath through a regulator underwater without a mask). If there were a college for scuba diving, they would be those good professors you fondly remember.You wont have to wait long for personnel to approach you if you need assistance and advice in buying gear. Highly recommend.

After going home and looking In magazine I got in shop. I saw a 10 dollars off coupon. I spent more then was required but nobody said to me mention the coupon in the magazine your holding for money off very bad for buiness for a customer to see this coupon but was not told. Went back to store for refund which was given for the difference.

We had a fantastic experience with Michael at Force E in Boca from start to finish. We were coming from NY and our teenage son wanted to get certified. I spoke to Michael multiple times before I ever booked. He was super knowledgeable and patient about my scuba questions generally (which ranged from PADI vs SSI, equipment, locations, etc). He was very accommodating when it came time to book. Michael is an excellent teacher. His instructions were clear and he set expectations, but he was supportive too. My son successfully finished his open water certification happy (and tired!) and excited about setting up his next dive. A shout out to Arya too — she expertly captained the boat through choppy waters.

In the 2 locations I have been they are always helpful and friendly. The fact that I could buy a mask and return it every time (within 30 days each time) until I finally found the perfect one was awesome. I see some other stores are 10 days and no refunds. This is great customer service!

I recently took the Advanced Open Water at Force-E Boca with Nick Casper as my instructor. He was very knowledgeable about the material and was able to explain everything in detail. He also gave me really good advice on equipment. Because he dives often, he also knows the best dives in the area. You can tell that he is passionate about teaching and scuba diving.We had a few weeks of bad weather and he was always proactive in scheduling dives.I would highly recommend taking a class with him, I was very lucky to have him as my instructor.

First thing first - what an amazing experience! Great on every level. I had Maggie as an instructor and she was great every step of the way. Force-E has been in Boca for a long time, but they recently moved down the road to a new location. The new location has easy parking, and the store has lots of space. They even have a new custom spearfishing station set up!

Professional, competent, patient and fun! Great for families.We are travelling in Latin America this year so wanted to get our 12 & 14 year old boys open water dive certified. E-Force was conveniently located and well-reviewed, so we called to test their fit and competency. In a few phone calls we picked up some great tips on diving in Colombia, got the guidance we needed to complete our PADI e-LEarning sessions, scheduled our equipment and pool training sessions for the boys (and refresher courses for Mom & Dad).Our instructor Alec Hutchinson was great with cell and email communications, and when we showed up Wed 830AM they were ready... paperwork was easy, Alec tested the boys PADI e-LEarning knowledge and reviewed pre-qual quizzes with Mom & Dad too. Since were diving in more remote spots we spent extra time working the dive tables (no dive computers where we are going).At the pool sessions Alec had us set up and break down equipment 3-4 times. He was fantastic with the boys in the pool - very encouraging but also attentive and quick to get their attention back whenever it drifted. The boys were proud of their learning, had fun underwater and are now excited to dive with Mom & Dad.We highly recommend EForce and Alec for your dive needs.

Force Es Boca Raton location was the best find that I made during my theraputic dive trip. I found this place to be top notch. There are so many choices around and my dive partner suggested Nicks shop. They have an easy fill station around back, and even have nitrox banked along with a trimix mixing stick for quick no surprises results.Every time I go in Nick seems to be there, does this guy ever have a day off? Alec, Pavel, Lorin, and Max got to know me pretty quick on a first name basis and made me feel welcome. I missed some folks that work there and didnt need to leave them out, but in all my passings by they have said hello and tried to ask me if I needed anything. They even helped me find a book that they didnt have in stock and got it for me with one day turn around from another location.They have recreational, tec, freedive, and a wide array of spearfishing gear. They recently have been pushing and telling me about mini season for lobster and I hated to tell them that I had to leave to go home. They really are talking it up, I suggest if you ever get down there for bug season to talk with them. I fell in love with fishing as a calming sport and Nick even sold me a Koah after going over the selections with me.Thanks, Force-E Boca Raton! I usually cringe in dive shops, but not here!!!
