Subcontractors they use are horrible, unprofessional, and do not produce quality work. Mold restoration team were the only part of this nightmare that was professional. Poor ethics, quality of workmanship, completely lack of communication by their Boca team. They show up and use “your” tools they do not clean up, they even spray paint in your home! This is also not an isolated issue apparently. Read the BBB site several complaints of similar practices. Do yourself and your family a favor and seek assistance elsewhere.

My insurance company sent Baxter in after a major rain event that caused extensive flooding and damage to my house. They were very thorough, courteous and punctual during my time of real need. They kept me educated as to the process, and because of them our stress levels were reduced. Chubb, my insurance company is very high end and Baxter is one of their Preferred Vendors. Thats good enough for me.

I was really disappointed with this company. I was assured by the Boca Raton manager that he would oversee the mold remediation of my contents in the condo after the project manager left the company the morning she was scheduled to meet me there to review what needed to be done. I spent 4 days organizing for the crew what to remediate in piles of business books, files, family pictures, photo albums, dry cleaning, laundry, etc. I opted to toss all my furniture to mitigate the cost since the renters insurance refused to cover any of the expense since no active leak was found. I marked with blue tape (per the companys instructions of how to designate what would go to the plant for remediation) 8 folding chairs I use for client workshops. I never got the chairs and no one knows what happened to them. At the plant, I had to go through 14 boxes since there was no communication within the company as to where 3 boxes were that the team filled with a few items they werent sure were for the garbage or to be remediated. What I found in doing that was that everything was thrown together in a mish-mosh. Once again I organized everything and separated out one box of items I needed to take with me rather than put in storage. The office manager assured me it would be kept separate after I showed her exactly where it was. When I was told a few days later that everything was cleaned and boxed, I came back for that one box and no knew where it was. As they began to open boxed looking for it, once again everything was thrown in as if they dumped one box into another - all different items - and didnt even appear clean. They offered to take it to the storage facility as a way of trying to make up for all of the unprofessionalism and zero communication but even there one of their own employees apologized profusely for how bad it was and took pictures of how the contents were thrown in the boxes!

They did an excellent job. They were careful, clean, courteous and professional. The head of the team, Gus, clearly takes pride in the work they do. I highly recommend.

They did an amazing job on my house. Robert Young who oversaw the project made sure everything was well done. If there was anything not quite right he made sure it was fixed the next day. GREAT JOB!

Thank you Baxter Restoration for the absolutely fabulous job you did in my home taking care of the mold remediation. Baxter was on time, polite, cleaned up after they finished each day. I am mold free. Baxter worked directly with my insurance company to get paid. Big problem, but they made it completely bearable.

Baxter was at my house over a dozen times to remediate water damage from my AC drain that came into my house. Although the staff is very nice and kind, there was a bit of confusion in scheduling, and even during the clean up process, it really felt very prolonged. I really liked all the individuals working here and if they can coordinate better together, they can certainly rise up for more stars! I hope you have a better experience than I did.

Baxter is a restoration company made of very skilled people and they know everything about water damage, mold and fire cleaning. Top of the line personnel.

Came fairly fast after home was flooded. The tech was very nice and professional. My biggest issue is that the company does not vet who subcontracts for them. The people doing the clean up where shady to say the least. I had my new SS fridge dented by the careless workers. Also I had 2 fishing poles missing after the crew left. The company apologized after the fact and tried to make it right. This is why I am not giving them a negative review. I left my house while the crew worked on my home. I would not advise anyone to do the same.

Whatever you do keep looking. Lied to on progress. Sub contracts stole personal property. Absolutely no support from Baxter to recover items.

Once my insurance company connected us with Baxter, they came within a reasonable time frame and assessed the situation and listened to our concerns. The work was delayed due to the rain, but once a clear day was available, the crew arrived. The crew were polite, efficient, performed the work above our expectations and left our premises clean.

A great company, caring staff and fast response. This company is truly a class act.
