Never again will I darken the door of a dealer for service on our cars. Robert Lanzet and his team are exceptional. We had delayed certain repairs as my wife was aghast at some of the estimates we received for the simple manner of replacing switches. Robert took a look, gave me an idea what it would take, and despite not having a ride home I called for an Uber and left it in his care. Car was back that afternoon and the price was much less than we had expected and been told by others. The shop is immaculate, a sign Im always looking for. Im certain a dealer would have slammed us for hours of labor, but Robert told me upfront likely no more than an hour and he was correct. Its rare to find honesty and professionalism in the auto repair business these days, but theyve got it nailed. And they have my business from now on.

As a young woman that knows nothing about cars it can be hard to find a good mechanic that will be honest with me and not over charge or charge me for repairs that I dont actual need. Apparently Ive been leaving my head lights on all the time which drained my battery. Edge could have charge me for an expensive repair and I wouldnt have known any better. Instead they charged up my battery for me with no financial charge to me. I WOULDNT TAKE MY CAR ANYWHERE ELSE! Super trustworthy !!

Ive never had a shop give me a quote, say they would do the repair. And then when called back to get the vehicle towed advised they now have no interest in the repair? The shop was recommended to me from another shop at that for this EXACT REPAIR which they said they would do, and QUOTED ME.Skip this place, go somewhere else.

Was referred to this place from another shop in Boca. Spoke to a guy a 3 weeks ago at Edge who gave me a quote. This gentleman was 100% fully aware that I intended on getting my own parts to save in costs, and buddy not once mentioned it being an issue. He proceeded to quote me on labor charges and then proceed to advise on a referral tow place that they frequently work with and to just give them a call once we needed the tow/work done. Gave them a call today, reiterated my story and service needs, was placed on hold and then someone came back to the line to say Yah, Ughhh, Were actually not interested. Have a nice day. Really stellar professionalism, and why not say that upon our initial conversation. Fine - you dont want my business, at least apologize for the inconvenience just not brush me off the line after providing me a quote weeks ago? Despicable customer service.

My experience for this particular service was disappointing. When initially turning in the truck, we wanted the truck serviced, but were very unclear as to the details of of the 305,000 mile scheduled service for a post card we received. The ad card we got in the mail specifically states, Please call us for more details about your scheduled service. Upon asking, we were not really given any details, except that they were not sure what needed to be done and we would be called if any work needed to be performed. At this point, I was satisfied with this answer because I generally needed the truck looked over. I personally spoke with the service manager and explained the vehicles issue with an oil leak and I understood there was no easy fix. I explained we have been applying a Stop Leak solution in combination with the oil and it seems to help pretty good.When they reported the truck was ready to be picked up, they reported the brakes on the truck needed to be completely changed: rotors, calipers, pads, brake lines, everything. They also told me they changed the oil and charged me $170.I explained that I did not really want the oil changed, because we change the oil ourselves and just completed this task... I was never really able to finish because I was given a fairly obtuse attitude about how I shouldve known this was going to happen. After that, I was basically given the riot act about how I wasnt going to pay. Given the fact I was going to pay, the comment was pretty insulting. I pretty much would pay a good mechanic whatever their time constituted just to look over a vehicle - it seems fair to me. What I was not happy about was that they changed the oil and drained all the stop leak solution out of my truck after I had just applied it 10 days prior - it was frustrating but not the end of the world. I did call the owner a couple hours later to try and discuss the matter. I was not really given an opportunity to explain anything. Basically, we were stupid for not knowing they were going to change the oil when a vehicle is serviced. BTW, we were also provided with a barrage of lewd comments and told they didnt have time for this s**t and you just dont want to pay!Here is deal from my perspective. Regardless as to whether we were idiots for not knowing if the trucks oil should have been changed in this type of service, I would have appreciated them telling us a oil change is a clear and definitive part of the deal for whatever price. All of these shops are different and you really just do not know what they are going to do when you drop off your vehicle off half the time. Making me out to be an idiot and trying to slip the bill is not appreciated. The bold curse words directed and me and my office manager were completely unacceptable. This was a case of miscommunication that should have been cleared up professionally. BTW, I left a check for $170 the next day in their drop-off window. It was not worth it for me not to pay... However, if they did not want to listen to why I was not happy, unfortunately, I must write the review.

I found Edge through some friends in the automotive aftermarket 2 years ago. We have been taken all of our cars there ever since. They have always provided excellent service in a prompt professional manner. They are also competitive and fair on their pricing. On my last visit ( to replace a Xenon headlamp) they were significantly less than the VW service department , had the part in stock , and were able to make the repair quickly. I would highly recommend Mike and his team at Edge Automotive !

Had a loud noise coming from the front of my car and the tire was vibrating really badly. I brought it to edge and they found that I was missing three Lugnuts on one wheel and two of them were loose! They fixed it and didn’t charge me. What more could I ask for?

Great customer service and clear on what needs to be done to your vehicle and why. They are not the cheapest but they may be the best. I would not trust my Mercedes to anyone else in the Boca Raton area and would highly recommend them for any of your auto repair needs.

A very good experience. I asked them to check my daughters 2003 Jetta which I knew had several issues. They did the review quickly and thoroughly and gave me a competitive estimate for the work. I decided not to proceed and to trade it in for a new vehicle, however I appreciated Mikes and Roberts professionalism and will be taking my other vehicles to them - they understand that customer satisfaction builds long term customer relationships.

Robert is deserving of your trust! Went in for an oil change and alignment on older c240. They let me know right away that an alignment was not my problem and that it was deeper. (This is common for old C-class) They quoted me out a very fair price. I could not afford it so I just traded the car in. They saved me $150 on the alignment and months of future headaches. Wish everyone was this upfront in the auto repair biz. Id trust them with my puppy! Thanks!

I always enjoy bringing one of my cars to Edge as I know it will get the kind of attention that I want for my cars. They always do a complete check up of the entire car which I expect and count on.

I used this service company 3 times. The first time I needed new tires, they put on FALCON tires which are a mongrel tire, and they started blowing out instead of Continental or Pirelli which you are supposed to use on Mercedes, I had to buy 4 new tires from the Mercedes dealer...I went over a spead bump and one of my back seat headrests popped up and would not go down,,,they chared me $400 to take the whole seat apart, when there is a tool at Mercedes that fixes it in 2 seconds, and they dont charge. My favorite is they put 4 new break pads on, and I finally had to go to the Mercedes Dear, and found out THE BREAK PADS WERE PUT ON BACKWARDS. I had to have the 4 break pads replaced. Dont get me wrong.Mike is a nice person, but he had someone working as his manager, and every time I asked for Mike, this guy would say he wasnt there, and I always had to deal with this mgr. However obviously his staff does not know what they are doing!!!
