I reached out to Quick Vents and was in contact with Bruno. He was responsive and easy to book a service call. My dryer didnt seem to be working well, so I tried cleaning my own vents and obviously did not do an adequate job. I don’t usually post reviews online but I look at them quite often. I decided after they came that it would be an injustice to the company if I didn’t leave a review. I called Bruno after seeing positive reviews on Google and Yelp. I’m always paranoid someone is going to rip me off so I do plenty of research on the company prior to calling for an appointment. My dryer wasn’t working so Bruno took a look and told me it was the motor. He told me what it would cost to fix and I decided it was probably more worth it to get a brand new machine. He didn’t try to pressure me to fix it or anything. Then Dale came to clean out my vent because it is on the roof and I don’t trust myself going up there. He spent a good amount of time explaining what he was doing and showing me the debris and lent that came out during cleaning. For $99 to get that service done and diagnose my dryer, I thought it was well worth it. These guys are very honest, respectful and respectable. I’m very happy I found them and will use them again in the future if I have a need.

Bruno arrived on time, diagnosed the problem (heating element failure) quoted the repair price and replaced the part immediately as he had the part with him in his van. Complete in under 30 minutes which included a nice chat about how the business is run. We originally called Quick Appliance as our washer drum was filling with water. Bruno came out and diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. We have a full size stacked washer/dryer with the dryer on top so when they returned, the guys had to remove the dryer first and in doing so, Bruno advised us that we had the wrong vent in the dryer. The vent was flexible and should be ridged. It could cause a fire under the right circumstances. I requested him to order the correct parts for the dryer. When Bruno returned for the dryer, he showed me all of the lint that accumulated inside the dryer and some of the lint was burned! This was a fire waiting to happen! The vent also hadnt been installed correctly allowing for lint to get inside. Bruno installed the ridged vent and cleaned the vent. Had it not been for Bruno noticing this problem when on-site of the washer (which is working fine now 😀), we would of had a disaster on our hand at anytime! Thank you Bruno!
