We have not decided yet to go with Handyman, but I just wanted to drop a note of praise about Randy, who came to do an estimate on a number of items on our home. Randy was on-time, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. But what really stood out for me was his thoroughness in checking out all the things we wanted repaired and upgraded. His quote was the most thorough Ive received from any contractor anywhere. He even stayed long past time for his next appointment to ensure we got a well-prepared and thoughtful quote. Great job - and its just a quote at this stage!

Brian and Mike did an outstanding job putting up a deck roof for me in just 3 days. They were prompt, professional, respectful, and creative in finding ways for what I needed. Randy was very thorough in explaining the estimate, and answering my endless questions afterward. I would recommend them to others.

I had 2 new toilets I purchased to replace my existing shorter toilets. Brian Briede was my craftsman. I got the estimate and had him proceed with the install. He took the old toilets and all of the boxes away. He did an excellent job.

Ive used this company for various things: rehanging sagging gutters, adding bathroom fan/vent ducting. Ive called them for estimates on other projects that I didnt end up doing also. its easy to schedule. the tradesperson comes out, and if they can do the job and you agree on price, they do it right then. the company communicates well. the tradespeople they send are courteous and straightforward. I will use them again and definitely recommend them.

My most recent experience with handyman is hiring them to put up a piece of siding that fell from my house and to also paint the side of the house. Mind you they used all my materials. After a guy named Richard painted the side of the house which did not match the color and looked like a 5 year old painted it, i asked them for a refund at least for the terrible paint job. The guy Josh, talked to his upper management the owner Derek Christian and they decided no refund and they would collect full payment. Shady owner, makes executive decisions for all parties involved without even looking at job or try to work out a deal. They charged me $450 dollars for an hour of work, no materials and here is a pic of the job they did. I will not be hiring them again. Quality=2/5 Price= 1/5 Professionalism 2/5. Overpriced and Dishonest. If you check out their lowest reviews you will see what i mean on Bogus Price gouging.

They came over on time for a 9am appointment for a kitchen faucet installation. Handyman came in with mask on went to inspect under the sink for install and immediately (within 5 minutes of entering the house) said he would not be able to do it today and doesnt have the tools for it. Then went on to say I should just call a plumber. Verified this was not a complicated job or anything special. Total BS as I was told multiple times that they provide this service and come on, its just a faucet guys! Very strange to say the least not calling them again.

The work was done as expected and met the quote we received. Handyman Joe was great to work with. The overhang was constructed and the flower box was installed. Arrival and completion done as promised. Very satisfied.

I needed bead board/wainscoting and baseboard installation in a bathroom within our home. Not knowing who to call for this work, my research led me to Handyman Connection. A call to Dave put me at ease immediately with his friendly reassurance of quality work; and so Tommy was sent to complete the job. Tommy was a personable, polite, and reassuring professional whose carpentry skills shown through the two days it took to complete the job. The final result was immaculate work. I contacted Handyman Connection to fix my door and it took some time to get the estimate. After I received the estimate, one person did not show up to do the work due to an injury in a car accident. The second worker came about one week later and had no idea that the first handyman had already given me an estimate to do the work. As soon as he walked in , he gave many reasons why the work on the door could not be done. Then proceeded to prepare an estimate for the work. I told him I already had an estimate from his company and another company and he was suppose to be there to repair the door. He wanted to prepare an estimate anyway and I told him that I had to get back to work. Hopefully he gave his boss the estimate so he could be paid for his travel time, even though they wasted weeks of my time waiting and then not performing the work. I had to get a different company to do the work.

Purchased a house that was flipped by this company. Difficult to work with. Difficult to get them to complete the work they stated, in writing, that they would complete. Still having contractors contact us regarding payment for services that they were stiffed on. Went to add cabinets into the kitchen and recently found out that they installed closet shelving instead of kitchen cabinets. Could go on. Would not recommend.

I had an issue with the downspout on my house not being connected to the underground drainage system, and reached out to get some estimates for repairing this issue. Within minutes of posting my request on Angies List, I got a call from Handyman Connection and got set up for an inspection and estimate. Hank, came by this morning to review the situation and the quote he gave was reasonable for the work to be performed. Hank got right on the job and not only fixed the two issues I was aware of, but also corrected a third issue. I cant ask for more than that. The situation is corrected and Hank did a fantastic job there.

Corey did a great job, and was very efficient. He was able to do something that I didnt think could be done easily because of the way the ceiling is finished in my basement. I was very pleased with his work.

We had a great experience working with Josh S. He helped us rent a wood splitter and used it to cut large logs left over from a tree we had cut down into usable firewood. I must have been very luck to have a Josh doing the work for comparing him with other works I have had over the years, he is a GEM!He arrived, went straight to work and non stop until he was done and when the work was finished it looked like new; not a repair job. I am 84 yrs old and in this day and age - this is certainly not the norm. He was polite and well mannered. I hesitated writing this for thinking as I feel confident you are, it sounds like it must be a relative or someone paid to say nice things - trust me, I am not. We had a tricky piece of drywall in our kitchen that needed to be replaced. We had spoken with numerous people about how to handle this problem spot where it seemed a drain pipe came out further than the drywall. When Josh S. arrived, he solved the problem in a minute flat and repaired the drywall perfectly. It looks fantastic! I picked this company to provide an estimate on some home repairs based on all the good reviews. Minutes before my first appt I received a call saying the person wouldnt make it because a job ran over. I was a bit frustrated since I was waiting at home, but figured it happens, so we rescheduled. The next appt I scheduled was a few days later. Ten minutes after the appt should have started I contacted the person and received a answer that he was at another job covering up materials due to the rain and wouldnt be able to make it to my house. Due to my work schedule I could not have him come later in the day. He offered to come the following day but honestly I dont trust that he would show up. I obviously cant comment on the quality of work but have two cancelled appts with little to no communication is frustrating. I will be going with another service.

I had a hard time finding an electrician to call me back. My brother suggested Handyman Connections. I called and was quickly scheduled for a free estimate. The electrician, Gale Brown, was awesome. Very nice man. I accepted the bid and he began work immediately. He not only fixed the problem in a couple of hours, but educated me in the process. I was very satisfied with the work. In fact, Im having him back to install a dedicated line for my hot tub.

I recently call and spoke to a representative named Jordan. She was extremely friendly, efficient and customer centric. This is my first experience working with the company but thus far they have exceeded my expectations. The representative Jordan was receptive of my needs and request and accommodated my schedule and provided me the first available appointment. Exceptional Customer Service is hard to come by and I appreciate the service I have received thus far.

Handyman Connection , under its new management, was prompt in getting to see me, gave a reasonable quote, and finished the work in the same day. I had them do both electrical and plumbing work, and it came out great. So nice to have a place to call to get things done when you arent that handy. My wife is happy, and so am I.

I needed some general repairs including replacing my gable vents, fixing doorknobs, etc. Josh was great. He was courteous, professional, and communicated all that he would do and the cost prior to getting started. He was very flexible and did excellent work.

Joe Kelsey repaired water damage to drywall area around the window in our spare bedroom. He worked very quickly and did an excellent job. He is a very meticulous worker and determined what had to be done. When he was finished the work area was thoroughly cleaned and free of any debris. Joe is a skilled worker and I would gladly recommend him to others.

They did a good job on the cabinets but I’m not happy about the paint on the floors or the fact that they didn’t replace the plywood that was missing from where they removed the cubby hole where the refrigerator was it’s an open section about 2 1/2” by 3’ on both sides of the fridge I questioned the worker about it several times and he said when the floors are replaced they will fix it I’m not redoing the floors and now I have paint all over them and it looks horrible I doubt I’ll us them again!!! I called and was told they would call me the next day i never received a call back they were all to happy to take my money but when it came to the problems no response !!

Contractors showed up exactly when they said they would and did a great job. Stayed until the job was totally complete, had me check it and cleaned up after themselves. The craftsman Joe Kelsey was punctual, very efficient and finished the work on time. However the skim coat that he put on was still drying, he had to return to apply another layer of paint in the closet a week later. I will post another review after that work is completed. Currently the skim coat is still drying , and appeared to have cracks. I suppose that is normal. Thanks for the good work.

Ron Hammond and Karl Strum did a fantastic job of installing an attic ladder in my garage. This required widening the opening in the ceiling, installing the ladder, and adding new molding. The job looks extremely professional and they left the area cleaner than when they started. I would highly recommend these craftsmen for any carpentry work.

My wife and I have used Handyman connection for many years. We have had them come out for plumbing issues, electrical issues in addition to carpentry. We had used them at our old house when our home warranty expired. Now since we have moved into a newer home we have not needed their services as much but we would highly recommend them as we have found them to do good work with reliability for a very fair price. We will be using them again for a smaller project this Summer of 2012 and hope to continue with their services when needed.
