Bought my mower here 18 years ago. I have maintained it myself most of the time, but have had it in at Nords a few times for service. Recently it stated to have some issues, at 18 years I was prepared to buy a new one, but as with so many other things, they had none to sell. Well I talked over the symptoms of the mower and they suggested a new magneto. That was spot on and now my mower is running again. thanks for the advice.

I should have written this last fall but I forgot. I thought was important. last year I bought a mower from nord. It was a bad fit for the type of yard I had. Needed to talk with a sales person was told it will be a while. Went somewhere else and bought a new mower. Counter guys were too busy talking to each other to see if a sales person was available. What a joke if they consider that great service.

I broke a blade on my landpride rotary mower but couldnt find the model number. I met Doug Nord at his house and he said he would take the broken blade and try to determine what i needed. Doug called me the next day and said that he had the right blades and pins in stock and would bring them to me if needed. Now that is service!!!!!

Helpful and honest; cleaned carb in my generator and didn’t push any more from me. Helped loading in and out of vehicle.

Submitted their value my trade form and even provided pictures of my mower trade in. Received a written offer on the trade and upon arriving at their store with my old mower, was told they could not buy it due to a weld being repaired on the deck. Nord never mentioned it in the multiple emails we exchanged nor is it mentioned on their form. Poor service and will not receive my business. Beware when trying to trade in.

I am very happy with the service and products at Nord Outdoor Power. Burt was very helpful without being overbearing. He was able to answer all of my questions. I was able to purchase a new lawn mower that exactly fit my needs and it was on sale. I did not feel pressured to make a purchase I was unhappy with. Burt and another employee prepared the mower, gassed it up, checked the oil, showed me how to start it, and loaded it into my car. I was able to confidently choose and purchase the mower in under 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this business. Plus, the dogs in the store were very cute and well behaved.

I give 2 stars for the simple fact they have a lot of stuff in stock. The real meat and potatoes of this review comes from the experiences I have had here when shopping for equipment. Numerous times I have been treated poorly and when ask for a discount Im told there is none available and the prices are set MSRP which is correct the only problem I have with this is I have purchased multiple items from from other dealers that always seem to find a way to work with me all while Im spending considerable less money. I have spend over 2k in the last 9 months at this store and have yet to even get so much as a free hat. This brings me to todays incident which compelled me to write this review. The echo one day sales event is going on all over the place at certain dealers.I went to the dealer closest to me and spoke with the GM asked if he would give the echo rep a call and just ask if they would honor the 20% off since i was going to be spending 2k and needed the equipment this week for a job i have to get done. I was told no and basically laughed at for even asking. This again brings me back to I know this is possible because it has been done for me before at another dealer. The rep was real understanding and told me he would take care of it and I did receive 20% off all items purchased. But today Im laughed at & told they will not give me the Reps phone number to speak with them myself since they wouldnt call.I can say for certain I am truly disappointed in having such a nice place that for the most part has everything in stock but such poor customer service. now I have no other choice but to travel for my outdoor power equipment needs. Buyer beware your hard earned money is just that a dollar sign in the eyes of this store.UPDATE 5-2-18I have now spoke with the owner & the echo rep. I just wanted to say the owner is a very nice gentleman he was very concerned with my review and wanted to get to the bottom of it. He took the time to speak with me explain there side of the situation and I appreciate that. Long story short I will be returning to this business for my outdoor equipment needs. Good prices, expert knowledge, and most importantly, they have their own repair department. Others will sell you a mower but Nord will repair and maintain it too!
